Chapter 41: A Jedi Exclusive
Unknown locations across the globe…
A Republic Star Cruiser flew through the sky as many ARC-170 Starfighters flew down afterwards, gunning down fighter jets with the emblem of the ORDER on them. All of a sudden, black clouds started to first engulf the Tokyo Skytree in Japan, then it started engulfing around the Statue of Liberty. Clone Gunships started to land down onto the ground and land, massive amounts of Clone Troopers coming out and running with their blasters cradled in their arms.
A massive army of ORDER Soldiers, all led by the Terror Titans, stood ready at the stone pathway of a large canyon, charging towards the army ahead of them.
Suddenly, there was an explosion. Emerging from it were Robin and five unknown teens, all in silhouettes of black. One of the figures, smaller-looking than the rest, twirled around in the air during the jump while Dick and the rest of his unknown squadron all prepared to shoot.
Just then, another mysterious figure, with a feminine build, led five more unknown figures into the air, the leading female holding her arms out as if she were a tiger while the rest had weapons drawn looked ready to attack.
Next, an unknown figure, a masculine build this time, depicted as a young man with some kind of armor, was seen with the same unknown female figure, now alongside seven more, all in battle stances while the one man with armor placed what appeared to be a sword on his wrist. More unknown members started to appear in battle stances alongside the Team as Ahsoka activated some kind of blue and green double-sided lightsaber.
The Team, along with the unknown figures, all charged towards the ORDER with war cries while the Clone Troopers around them started to shoot down onto the ORDER, clashing head-on and not backing down. One of the unknown flew down and cupped his hands, blasting fire towards a squadron of ORDER Troopers while another female figure, armed with a Japanese sword this time, placed her hand behind her back to block two enemy blades before joining in with Ahsoka and slashing down a few more soldiers.
Ahsoka then stood back-to-back with a man, taller and older than she was, before the two led the Team into more of the fray. Just then, a voice called out, "Hey, wake up!" causing everything to fade to white.
Mount Justice June 26th 1432 hours EDT
Ahsoka gasped as she woke up with a start, feeling cold water run down her skin as she started to sink into the depths below. She immediately swam upwards towards the surface, where the rest of the girls of the Team were there, all with anxious looks on their faces. Ahsoka panted for air as Artemis swam towards her for help. "What happened?!" Ahsoka panicked as she got out of the Cave Pool, Barbara handing her a towel.
M'gann and Zatanna got out of the pool as well as Raquel, with Black Canary at her side, both ran towards the scene, the young African American girl holding a first-aid kit. "We were having a girls-day out at the pool." Zatanna started out before Serra went on while placing a towel over her body. "And while we were talking about what had happened so far since the Team expanded…" Serra continued on, letting M'gann continue the rest. "You suddenly passed out, and I had Raquel run to Black Canary for some help!"
Ahsoka gasped at what had happened as she started to dry herself off. "How long was I unconscious?" she asked desperately. Black Canary stepped up and sighed as she placed her hand on her hip. "You were out for about ten minutes, Ahsoka, so everyone got worried, since you got back from Atlantis with Aquaman and all." The Bird of Prey explained. The rest of the girls of the Team looked to Ahsoka with much concern. Since all of the males had left the Cave for their own personal downtime, they thought that the girls could handle everything by themselves, but with what had just happened, Ahsoka was now growing more and more stressed by the second.
Ahsoka sighed at this statement and shifted back into her original skin. "Well, with the Boy Wonder out training with Bruce, Wally spending quality time with Barry, and Aqualad working with Stingray on who was behind Atlantis's Leviathan attack, Connor suggested for me to visit Metropolis for a possible reporting job." She explained. With that, she started to make her way to the door, but was immediately tackled by M'gann, Artemis, Zatanna, Raquel and Serra, all yelling out, "NO!"
Ahsoka took this by surprise as Barbara Gordon and Dinah Lance just stood by in shock. Ahsoka struggled to get up, but the weight of the rest of the girls, plus her slight weakness from being out unconscious for too long, kept pushing her down. Ahsoka looked up to her friends as she struggled to get free. "What's wrong?!" she yelled. Furiously, Ahsoka unleashed a strong Force Repulse, sending the girls off of her as she finally got up, brushing away some dust that got onto her. After brushing off the dust, she looked to her friends in much confusion.
M'gann sighed as she started to wipe off her hands. "It's not that we doubt you, Ahsoka, we're just concerned for the way you've been behaving lately." The Martian explained. Ahsoka sighed and placed a hand on her hip, now shifting into her human skin as Artemis stepped up. "So far, you nearly vaporized the Terror Titans and Trigon after Raven and Jinx faked their deaths, almost killed an ORDER soldier for interrogation and tried to start a fight with the Flash!" the archer stated. Ahsoka sighed and rolled her eyes at this. "Girls, girls, girls, I'll be fine, don't worry." The Togrutan reassured them. Zatanna and Raquel sighed with unease as Serra placed a hand on her hip. Wanting to avoid any more tension, Ahsoka started to walk out the door, fingers twiddling at her friends. "I'll keep in touch." She promised. With that, she left to get to the Zeta Tube and she was off to Metropolis.
Metropolis 1501 hours EDT
Ahsoka walked through the streets of Metropolis, looking around in awe at the large scenery. "Just like when I first got here." Ahsoka reminisced, thinking back to when she had first arrived on Earth in January and helped the Team stop Toyman. This was the first city she had fought in, and after five months had passed, she had finally returned. Now, let's see if I can find the Daily Planet. Ahsoka then thought to herself, straightening up her jacket as she continued to look around.
Soon enough, Ahsoka came across a building with a golden revolving door. "This must be it." Ahsoka said to herself as she pushed the handle-bar and walked in. As soon as she entered the building, Ahsoka awed in wonder. There were sixteen floors, reporters everywhere, and the place looked like the Jedi Archives in the Jedi Temple. However, when she thought back to the Jedi, a slight frown came across her face. Maybe the girls are right. Going back is something I'm not so sure about, after all. Ashley thought to herself.
Shrugging off the thought of doubt, Ashley started to make her way to the offices on the fifth floor. At the same time that she got to the elevator, a young man with a Japanese ethnicity started to come out. He didn't notice Ashley walking towards the elevator until the two accidently bumped into each other, the man's briefcase falling to the ground and papers starting to scatter everywhere. Ahsoka and the other figure gasped as they started to regain themselves, as well as work together on picking up the fallen files. As Ahsoka was helping to clean up the mess, she suddenly took notice of what appeared to be a photograph anomaly in space. The Japanese man gasped at this and immediately picked up the photograph. Before he could put it away, though, Ahsoka grabbed it back and looked to the photographer curiously. "What is this?" the disguised Togrutan asked with much curiosity.
The Japanese man squirmed and sighed, gently taking back the picture and placing it up into the air. "On April 1st, this shot was not meant to be a joke. We caught this hovering over Itokawa, a Near-Earth asteroid caught by Japan's satellite called Hayabusa, and when I showed this picture to JAXA, they, along with NASA and the Russian Federal Space Agency, it had appeared to be some sort of wormhole or anomaly." The man explained. Ahsoka just raised an eyebrow at everything she had just heard before her new and mysterious friend let out a slight chuckle. "Coincidently, it started to come and go like a parabola pattern after our greatest heroine, Ahsoka Tano, arrived on Earth." He added on.
Ashley chuckled nervously at this before coming back to her senses. "Just who are you?" she asked with greater interest than before while looking into the air where the man was placing the picture at. The man smiled and turned to Ashley, pulling his glasses down a bit. "Hayata Shin." Shin stated. Ahsoka smiled and looked back into the sky. She was about to turn back to ask Hayata some more questions, but all of a sudden, he was gone! Ahsoka gasped at this sudden turn of events. Maybe Clark knows more about Shin. She thought to herself curiously as she finally made her way towards the elevator.
On the fifth floor, Clark was having a meeting with his young best friend, Jimmy Olsen, as well as his girlfriend, Lois Lane, and their boss, Perry White. Perry looked down to the papers carefully before sighing and looking up, fedora thrown towards the coat rack. "Look, everyone, every day, I get the same stories on the same subject from all of you: the Justice League." Perry explained. Lois stomped her foot as she stepped up. "Well, we thought that with the ORDER revealed, we could get some more scoops!" she exclaimed.
"And look at where that got us!" Jimmy remarked. "The ORDER's nothing but terrorists, and the last reporter to try to find out what their goals were was heard from no more!" Perry snickered and slammed his elbow on the desk, pointing a finger to the young reporter and smiling. "Exactly!" he stated. Clark chuckled and patted Jimmy on the shoulder before stepping up as well. "If that's the case, then I suggest that we look into a new story." The Man of Steel in disguise suggested. Perry scratched his chin and started to mumble to himself, knowing that Clark Kent was correct. "Well, with some of our reporters out due to attempts in getting some scoops on what the ORDER is up to, you three would have to dig into a story on–"
Before Perry could finish, there was a knock on the door. All four people looked to the door just before Perry placed down his cup of coffee and sighed. "Come in!" he yelled. At that moment, Ahsoka Tano, in her Ashley Tanner human disguise, calmly walked in. She looked to the head of the Daily Planet and smiled. "Hi, I'd like to try out for a job as a reporter at the Daily Planet." Ahsoka said in her best shy voice. Clark smiled at Ashley, knowing who she obviously was. Perry White just sighed and placed on his glasses. "Well, if you're looking for a job as a reporter here, then you've come to the right place!" he exclaimed. Ahsoka smiled with happiness before Lois stepped up, hand on her hip.
"Okay, kid, so what's your history as a reporter?" Lois Lane asked. Ashley shrugged and looked around the room while explaining to Lois, "I was part of the Happy Harbor Newspaper Club, and after helping to uncover a story about ORDER operatives Black Widow, Silver Martian and Ultraboy, I was thinking of trying out after Kara Kent recommended this job for me." Ahsoka stated, winking to Clark as a sign that she didn't want to give too much away.
Oddly enough, for some reason, after Supergirl helped Ahsoka and the Team take down the Light when they attacked Smallville, Kara really hung up her cape, and never donned the mantle again. I wonder whatever happened that made Kara quit being Supergirl. Ahsoka thought to herself.
Shaking off the thought, Ashley looked to Perry with a confident smile on her face. "So, what story can I look into?" she asked. Perry White sighed and placed down some photographs of a blonde woman on a catwalk. Clark, Lois and Ashley all looked up to Perry as he let out yet another sigh. "Considering that we don't have even a single tip as to when Ahsoka Tano is going to show up next, your next story is on a supermodel by the name of Darci Mason. We need an interview with her before her next photo shoot." The head of the Daily Planet explained.
Ashley smiled at her new assignment and nodded. "I'll be sure to get a story done right away!" she stated enthusiastically. Clark nodded at this as well. "We'll be sure to get this scoop done in due time." Lois just crossed her arms and sighed in defeat. "Fine, I'll show the newbie the ropes to being a good reporter." She remarked. Ashley just shot Lois a glare offensively, now preparing to lunge at her. Luckily, Clark was able to stop her in time, giving her a playful smile soon after, in which Ahsoka returned the favor soon afterwards.
Later, at downtown Metropolis, Darci was having a practice run, preparing for her next photo shoot. Clark, Ashley and Lois had already gotten there, and were waiting until the practice run was over. Ahsoka watched the practice run go on with awe. This never happens back in my universe! She thought to herself dumbfounded.
Clark looked over to Ahsoka as he was writing down some notes and started to whisper. "You know, Connor has been telling me about some of the experiences you've been facing." He stated. Ahsoka's eyes widened with surprise as she wrote down some notes and trying to catch as many details as she could about Darci Mason while listening to Clark. "I know that I've been going through a lot, and I'm trying to control what I may become." Ahsoka reasoned. Clark sighed and started to adjust his glasses. "Still, with everyone's best interest, you do need help." The disguised Man of Steel reasoned back.
Meanwhile, after the practice photo shoot was over, Darci started to walk back to her trailer for her facial makeup. As she was walking, the sound of some sudden footsteps caught her attention. Darci turned around to see Lois Lane walking towards her. The female reporter smiled when she saw the model. "Can I ask you some questions in private, please?" Lois asked. Darci gave a slight smile and nodded. "Of course, come on in." She replied, gesturing for Lois to follow her into her trailer.
At the same time, Ahsoka was looking over the edge of a building while Clark stood with her, leaning against the wall and sighing. "Have you ever heard of the song, 'In Control'?" the disguised Man of Steel asked. Ahsoka sighed and shifted back into her normal skin. "You mean the one by Evanescence?" Ashley asked back, now as Ahsoka in her Togrutan skin. Clark chuckled and walked up to Ahsoka, placing his arms onto the edge of the building and once again sighed. "No, it was by Nemesea, but you were close." Clark quipped. He took a deep breath before speaking again. "Anyways, you seem to get out of control a lot, from what I've heard, starting from the day you met Jinx." Clark stated.
Ahsoka sighed and took out a can of Pepsi. "I know, I know, 'You've lost, and I control you', just as the song said." She replied with exhaustion. "I honestly don't know what's happening to me." Ahsoka added on before taking a drink from her Pepsi. Clark looked back and sighed. "A similar thing happened to me once, when I was exposed to Red Kryptonite." Clark explained. "Last year, in January, I was under the influence that everyone had turned against me, but luckily, Kara was there, and she helped me to get back to my senses." Kent added on. Ahsoka's eyes widened as she looked back to Clark, surprised at what happened to Clark Kent that long ago.
Just then, an explosion set off, followed by a scream. The two heroes gasped and looked over to the plaza, seeing some toy soldier robots attacking. Clark sighed as he threw his glasses off to the side and unveiled his shirt, revealing his Superman uniform underneath. Ahsoka scoffed and placed her arms out in front of her, summoning her two lightsabers and her arm-mounted crossbow. "Let me guess: Toyman?" she asked in dry humor. The Man of Steel made a serious look on his face and shook his head. "Just his toy soldiers, but while they're around, he's always lurking about somewhere." Clark replied, now as Superman. He then turned his head to Ahsoka and raised an eyebrow in confusion. "How do you know him?" he asked.
"When I first got to Earth, I took him down after he defeated the Team, and since I made a fool out of him at the time, he could be looking for me for some vengeance." Ahsoka explained. Clark awed in understanding before straightening out his cape. "So that's the reason he keeps muttering your name in his jail cell." Clark remarked. Ahsoka nodded before the two flew off to take care of the robots.
On the ground below, many people screamed in terror as they fled from the scene. Cat Grant and Iris West-Allen were some of them, stopping to hide behind a tree soon after running away from the scene to get a better look at what was happening. Iris soon began to smile as she looked to the sky, in which Cat replied by looking up as well. Superman and Ahsoka both landed, immediately shooting at the robots. "We've got a Jedi Exclusive here!" Cat exclaimed before she and Iris got their cameramen to record the whole thing.
Ahsoka and Superman both looked to the robots in surprise, now seeing that none of their attacks were working. "First, OceanMaster's trident was able to withstand my lightsaber blade and now these bots are invulnerable to energy blasts?!" Ahsoka exclaimed. Superman just shrugged and placed his hands out in front of him. "Must be advancing!" he yelled out. Ahsoka just shrugged and activated her lightsabers, charging at the robots after Superman. "If these clankers don't take damage from lightsabers, then there'll be Hell to pay!" she remarked before successfully slashing down a toy robot. She grinned before arming herself with both her firearm and her melee weapon.
Meanwhile, in the Darci Mason's trailer, about six robots started to invade. Darci let out a shriek as Lois started to protect her. "Stay here!" she yelled. With that, Lois picked up a chair and threw it at one of the robots, causing the rest to attack. One of them swung her sword down onto her, but Lois twirled into the air and used her feet to catch the blade, knocking it out of the robot's hands and letting it fall into hers. The remaining four robots looked to Lois as she cut down one of the robots before advancing onto the remaining three.
Darci just scoffed as she watched Lois fight. Seven more robots came into the room, causing Lois to pick up another sword and fight them as well. Time to end this. Darci thought to herself, now getting up and walking over towards the battling reporter. The sound of a punch was soon heard, and Lois dropped to the ground, swords falling and a small stream of blood forming an arrow towards the robots that she had already defeated.
Meanwhile, outside, Ahsoka and Superman continued to fight off Toyman's robotic toy soldiers. Luckily, they were nothing like OceanMaster's trident, as they could be cut down by a lightsaber easily. She started slicing and Force-Pushing each of the robots as Superman flew into the air and landed back on the ground with a thud, creating a large crater in the ground after dispersing of many more of the robots.
As the two heroes were battling, something caught Ahsoka's eye. There, by Darci's trailer, were a couple more robots, carrying Lois Lane and Darci Mason herself! "No!" Ahsoka yelled. She started to make her way towards the robots, but several dozen more got in the way, intercepting the Togrutan's path. Ahsoka growled at the interlopers and dropped all three of her lightsabers, revealing some chains attached to the ends of them. Cat Grant and Iris West-Allen looked with surprise and amusement as Ahsoka started to swing around her lightsabers, cutting down every robot that she and Superman were facing. After they all fell down, Ahsoka deactivated her lightsabers and sheathed them back onto her belt.
As soon as Ahsoka sheathed her lightsaber hilts, she and Superman ran towards Darci's trailer, only to find it empty. Ahsoka sighed and placed her hand to her face. "Sorry I lost your girlfriend, Clark." Ahsoka somberly said. Superman rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly at this statement before letting it go and letting out a sigh. "Let's see if we can find any clues." The Man of Steel stated. Ahsoka nodded and activated her gauntlet, revealing a flashlight hidden within one of the compartments. Superman started to use his X-Ray vision to try to find anything as well. "This might take a while." Ahsoka said out loud as they started to search.
In the downtown warehouse, the robots continued to hold Darci and the unconscious Lois hostage as Toyman started to inspect them. "You have done well in collecting dolls for me and the Light." Winslow stated to his drones. They all nodded before he grew a stern look on his face. "Put the two down and leave us." He ordered. The robots nodded and put down the two women before leaving the room as ordered.
As soon as the robots left, Darci started to dust herself off, keeping a slight scowl on her face. "It's about time you ordered those drones to release us." Darci stated to Toyman. Toyman just scoffed and nodded. "We all need to play our part to take down that Jedi Scum, Ahsoka Tano." He replied back. Darci sighed and rolled her eyes. "I know that, Winslow, but in order to take down the ORDER and the Jedi who hindered your image, I require a new body." Darci replied back, motioning to Lois.
As the two were talking, Lois started to come back to her senses. The female reporter opened her eyes just slightly to see Darci talking to Toyman. "Yes, but remember, the Light's plans for the Team and the Republic are essential." Winslow reminded. Lois just widened her eyes at this. Gotta convince them that I'm still out cold! Lois Lane thought to herself anxiously before closing her eyes again just in time, as the two turned to examine Lois further on.
"I'll be able to spy on the blue scout for the Light with a new body to replace my cybernetic one…" Darci started out before Toyman chuckled and stood up after leaning down to look at Lois. "And I'll be able to exact my revenge on the Jedi who humiliated me so long ago." He finished up.
Meanwhile, back at the photo shoot, Ahsoka and Superman continued to look around the trailer for any clues as to where the toy soldiers may have taken Lois. After fifteen minutes of searching, Ahsoka stopped where she stood. For a minute, she could have sworn that she had stepped in something. Looking down and carefully raising up her foot, the young Togrutan Jedi noticed some dry blood shaped into an arrow. The Ex-Jedi gasped and looked to Clark Kent. "Kal, come here!" Ahsoka yelled. Superman stopped looking in his spot and flew over to Ahsoka, looking down to the blood.
"Do you think?" Superman started out, but he didn't need to finish as Ahsoka just nodded. She used a small spoon to pick up a sample of the blood and place it onto her gauntlet. A holographic image then appeared, showing screens of the owner of the blood sample. After a minute had passed, the image of Lois Lane appeared. "This is Lois's blood, alright." Ahsoka said.
Superman then looked towards the direction in which the blood arrow was pointing. There, in front of the arrow, was one of the fallen robots. Kal-El picked up the remaining piece of the robot and started to use his X-Ray Vision to scan it. "The factory that makes these kinds of parts is located at the Fun Haus Factory downtown." Superman stated. Ahsoka then stood up, snapping her fingers in realization, now realizing what it meant. "That's where Toyman must be holding Lois and Darci captive!" Superman nodded and started to head towards the door. "Try to keep up!" he exclaimed. With that, he took off into the sky. Ahsoka chuckled and drilled herself into the air, now flying off after him.
Back at the Fun Haus Warehouse, Toyman prepared a giant machine, similar looking to a cookie-baking machine, only scaled larger. Both Darci and Lois were placed onto tables, Darci preparing to take on her new form as Lois Lane. "Time for a new doll!" Toyman exclaimed, pulling on a lever and causing the two tables to go into the oven. Darci smirked at the idea of a new form, but both of the evil minds were totally unaware that Lois was now wide awake, holding her camera in one hand and a pocketknife in the other.
Bursting out of the table, Lois cut herself free and threw her camera at into the oven, causing sparks to fly. "No!" both Toyman and Darci yelled out as Lois started to make her getaway to the door. Before she could get the chance to pull down the handle, Darci slapped her hand, causing Lois to recoil in a little pain as robots came in and surrounded her. Lois looked all around her, and eventually turned to talk to Darci. "You lost your camera, ruined the operation, and failed to make an escape. Did you really think you'd get away with it?"
Lois gulped before looking to the side, and then suddenly smirking. "Oh, no, no, no, no, no, I wasn't trying to escape…" Lois started out, causing the cybernetic model to raise an eyebrow in confusion. "I was just trying to distract you from what will happen in three… two… one." With that, the top window shattered, and Superman and Ahsoka crashed in, Ahsoka making an impact big enough to wipe out the robotic army.
Toyman growled at this turn of events and snapped his fingers, causing a door to lift up, revealing some more robots. Ahsoka and Superman smirked at this, the Togrutan placing one of her lightsaber hilts on her shoulder. "I've always wanted to know what it's like to play Operation." She quipped. "May I suggest dissection for this one, doctor?" the Man of Steel retorted. "Sound judgment, Doc." Ahsoka quipped once again. With that, she headed towards the army while Superman went after Lois and Darci.
Ahsoka charged into the robot army, crossbow armed on her left wrist and her emerald lightsaber in her right. She shot a blank into the air before officially attacking the drones, cutting them down and taking them out with one hit from her crossbow. Soon, she found herself surrounded by all of the robots at once. Thinking fast, Ahsoka pirouetted on one foot and started to slash at every robot, causing them all to fall at once the minute they met her blade.
Meanwhile, Superman started to head towards the two women. "I'm getting you out of here!" Clark yelled, picking up Lois. But before he could pick up Darci, she sent a straight punch to his face, sending him and Lois Lane down to the ground. Superman groaned in confusion as Lois reached out her hand to his. "She's with the Light! Darci Mason is a Cyborg!" Lois yelled. Kal-El gasped as he flew into the air to then try to land a hit on Darci. However, before he could punch the woman, Darci held out her hand again, revealing a crystal of Kryptonite. Superman gasped and fell to the ground, now weak on his knees.
Ahsoka took notice of the defeat of the Man of Steel and gasped. "Superman! Hang on!" the Togrutan yelled out, charging towards him. Before she could even reach him, though, the sound of a crackling MagnaGuard electrostaff caught her attention. Ahsoka gasped as she recoiled in the nick of time to avoid an attack from Toyman, now wielding an electrostaff. Ahsoka scoffed and placed her hand on her hip. "Winslow, I beat you once, and I can do it again, so just get out of my way." She remarked. Toyman snarled and shook his head. "I've been watching over you for some time since we last met, Tano, and this time, you'll be going down!" Toyman yelled. With that, the two charged at each other fiercely, neither backing down from the duel.
Using all the strength he could muster, Superman knocked the Kryptonite Crystal away, surprising Darci with a gasp as she was soon punched in the face by Lois soon after. Superman grinned at this, but soon pushed her out of the way to take on some more toy robotic soldiers. Lois gasped and saw that Darci was attempting to make her way towards the Crystal of Kryptonite. "Daughter of a Bitch!" Lois yelled out, slamming herself into Darci as she knocked the crystal away even farther. Darci looked to Lois and growled, hitting her head to knock out a loose bolt as Lois spit out a tooth.
Meanwhile, Ahsoka continued to battle against Toyman. With him using an electrostaff against her, things were starting to get difficult. She attempted to perform an Ataru strike at him, but Toyman just knocked her swords away and kicked her in the chest, forcing her onto the ground, staff pointing to her neck. Toyman chuckled as she looked up to him with a nervous look on her face. "Now, we can get even!" Toyman exclaimed. He started to laugh insanely as he took notice of Ahsoka's face. "Finally, I have made the great Ahsoka Tano tremble before me!" he remarked.
At that moment, Ahsoka smirked and shook her head in disagreement. "I don't think so." She quipped. Toyman raised an eyebrow in confusion as Ahsoka leapt up into the air, pulling off her whole crossbow and converting it into a large axe! Toyman's jaw dropped with horror before he ran towards Ahsoka and attempted to slash at her, but she just blocked the attack with her axe and locked blades with him. With a grunt, she then threw him off and swung around the axe, lighting up with Force Energy. She then ran towards Toyman, clashing once again, letting multiple metal blades separate from the axe and then using Force Speed to catch them all and slash him with it. Toyman groaned from every strike before Ahsoka leapt into the air and caught her original axe, slashing down at Toyman from above and slashing him to the ground, letting the other blades fall all around her before Toyman fell as well. Ahsoka smirked at her victory and converted her axe back into her crossbow, regaining her lightsabers soon after and running towards Superman.
Meanwhile, Lois has found a metal rod and was proceeding to beat the living daylight out of Darci while Superman continued to fight off against the robots. Just then, Force Lightning was sent down everywhere, causing the three to look up in surprise. Ahsoka Tano flew down from the air and then slashed at the robots before shooting at some more. Superman grinned at her, in which she did the same in response. The two then took notice of the Shard of kryptonite and ran towards it. Darci tried to go after it, but Lois just restrained her to the wall with her rod as they watched Ahsoka destroy the piece of Kryptonite. Darci gasped in horror before Ahsoka Force Threw Toyman towards her.
Lois ran towards Superman, clutching onto him lovingly. "I knew that you and Ahsoka would come to rescue me." She exclaimed. Superman smirked and nodded. "I guess that that trail of blood you made helped." He replied back. Ahsoka smiled and patted Lois on the shoulder before they started to hear Darci panting heavily in frustration. "I can't believe I was hung dry by that Jackass Count!" she exclaimed. Ahsoka and Superman both glared at Toyman, Superman preparing to use his Heat Vision while Ahsoka prepared to stab him if he didn't give them the answers they wanted. "I honestly have no idea what she's rambling about!" Winslow exclaimed nervously.
Before Darci could go on, she started to yell in pain, much to everyone's surprise. Soon, a small explosion went off, and she fell to the ground, lifeless and burning. Lois tried to touch her, but she recoiled and shrieked in pain as the robot was giving off a lot of heat. Superman then used his X-Ray vision to look into her head. "Well, what is it?" Ahsoka asked, in which Lois shared the same look. Superman sighed and turned to them. "It's just like Mercy, she's a robot, but she's got some sort of failsafe bomb. Someone didn't want her telling us who she was talking about." The Man of Steel explained. "Her mind can be restored, but she'll have no idea who she is." Kal-El added on. Ahsoka narrowed her eyes at Darci, wondering who she was talking about when she mentioned the name, "Count", but that could mean anyone. Still, she was starting to get suspicious. Just then, she heard some clattering from above. Thinking that someone was watching over them, Ahsoka looked up, only to see nothing there. Just what is going on? She asked herself with confusion.

A while later on, the police were starting to take away Darci and Toyman. "We'll never know who Winslow and Darci were working for now." Ahsoka complained. Superman sighed and crossed his arms. "Still, we were able to stop him, and for now, that's a small victory." Clark stated. Ahsoka turned and smiled at this.
Superman did the same before taking out a small, black box from his cape. "Here, you'd need this in the future." He stated. Ahsoka raised an eyebrow as she examined the box carefully. "These are special Kryptonite Crystals. If you encounter anyone with my Kryptonian powers, then these should come in handy." Superman explained. Ahsoka smiled and nodded. "Thank you, I'll be sure to put these to good use." Ahsoka replied.
After that, something finally occurred to Ahsoka. "Clark, do you know anyone at the Daily Planet who goes by the name of Hayata Shin?" she asked. Superman raised an eyebrow at this and shook his head. "There's no one by that name." He replied, much to Ahsoka's shock and confusion. "Why do you ask?" Superman additionally asked. Ahsoka sighed and shook her head. "There was this man coming out that I accidently bumped into who said something about some sort of anomaly by the moon, appearing some time when I first arrived here." She explained. Clark sighed and placed his hand to his chin. "Strange. I'll be sure to look into him." With that, Superman took off.
Ahsoka watched Superman leave the building before someone tapped her on the shoulder. Ahsoka stuttered in confusion before turning around. "Huh, what is it?" she asked, turning to see Lois with her pen and paper. "Ahsoka, I would like to ask you some questions, if you don't mind, that is." Lois Lane stated. Ahsoka smiled and nodded. "I'd be happy to answer anything you have to ask, Ms. Lane." Ahsoka stated. Lois smiled before she started her interview.
Meanwhile, at a nearby LexCorp building, Lex Luthor was watching the news on what had happened. "With Toyman once again back in Belle Reve, and they cybernetic being known as Darci Mason delivered to STAR Labs to be studied, Ahsoka Tano has once again saved the day, with help from Superman this time." Cat Grant reported, showing the footage of the Padawan and the Man of Steel fighting alongside each other earlier on. "We just wonder, what will happen next?"
Lex looked to Mercy Graves and nodded, in which she nodded back and turned off the television. "My, what a day for excitements this has been." Luthor stated. He then turned his head to the side and smirked. "You can come in now, Lawrence." He said. Sportsmaster then came out of the shadows and bowed respectfully. "Considering that we had to lose Darci so as not to let out any big secrets, we were still able to retrieve the package delivered to her earlier on, despite the aberration of the situation." Sportsmaster stated, taking out a package and placing it on the desk. "During that time, back at the warehouse…" Crusher started out…
Four hours ago, Sportsmaster's Point of View…
"I saw how Ahsoka Tano had evolved in power and performed in battle." Sportsmaster came out of the top balcony and looked to Ahsoka heading over towards Superman to assist him. "Darci was merely a pawn to be used in our game, and I made sure we had a Pyrrhic Victory, I purposely detonated Darci's central core, erasing any memory she had of being in league with the Light." Crusher looked down to the defeated duo and pressed a small button, causing Darci to yell out in pain before shutting down. Ahsoka growled before looking up as if she had seen something. Sportsmaster then quickly made his stealthy escape before the heroes carried the two villains outside.
Current time…
Sportsmaster scoffed at the memory of what had transpired earlier on. "For someone who wanted life, she sure lived a short one." He remarked. Lex sighed and placed his hands on the table. "Still, I think that Lord Sidious has been… sponsoring us well since our little talk back then." The billionaire stated. He then opened up the box, revealing a blaster with the LexCorp insignia on it, though in the shape of an E-5 Blaster Rifle.
"I do believe that their works have made my Quantum Destructor a work of art in the making." Lex added on, inspecting the work done on his new gun. He chuckled for a while after placing the gun down. "It seems that the Light will now have some splendid manufacturers in alliance with the Separatist Alliance after all." He stated, grinning evilly as Sportsmaster nodded and made his way to the door, business done.
Unknown Location…
ORDER Troopers charged into the valley, being led by Syrena and Xever. Ahsoka stood back to back with the same mysterious figure as they both slashed down, followed by Robin jumping into the air with Batgirl and dropkicking down at Falcon while M'gann flew with Starfire, everything suddenly fading to white once again.
Mount Justice 2359 hours EDT
Ahsoka woke up with a start and looked to her alarm clock, seeing that it was ten minutes to midnight. "Why do I keep having these dreams?" she asked herself exhaustedly before getting out. Seeing that no one else was awake, she decided to make her way to the top of Mount Justice to see if this Hayata Shin was really telling the truth about a portal.
Ahsoka stood on the top of Mount Justice, looking up to the sky to try to find anything. "Was that all real? Is there really a way back to my universe all the way out there?" Ahsoka asked herself curiously. She looked up to the moon one last time, seeing a blur of some sort of vortex. "It was true, then." Ahsoka stated, walking back inside. Hovering over the moon was a now, visible anomaly, just as the mysterious man told Ahsoka.
Author's Note: So, terribly sorry about the long delay, everyone. I was caught up in school and I hardly had time to get this done. Hope that this chapter compensates for the long wait. Now, here are the results for the three winning ideas, as well as the ones who gave them to me, with future names for the chapters that I will have them in:
Guest 1 - Could you do a special 1 year anniversary of the team being formed chapter because the Team was formed on the 4th of July and according to the date of this chapter the one year anniversary mark is almost there. Very good chapter by the way.
Chapter Title: Independence Day.
Flaming Sonar 27 - This story is just plain epic! It started out heartwarming at first, but now with new characters and allies, I can see that this will be one awesome story! I suggest that you have a mission where the Team goes on a mission to the Stagg Industries, where Simon Stagg is mass-producing chemicals and experiments for the ORDER, but he just always manages to escape the authorities about this. Please consider!
Chapter Title: Hidden Deep Within.
Guest 2 - Have Sidious send Darth Maul to Earth and have Ahsoka and the Team fight him (maybe Batman and Superman too). It would be EPIC! After Maul is defeated he could join the Light or ORDER (your pick it doesn't matter with me) or Maul could be killed if you want. You could do it as an homage to your Omnibus story in chapter 22 (which is my favorite and so is chapter 29). Anyway awesome story, can't wait to see how Ahsoka finally deals with her Dark Side.
Chapter Title: The Nightmare Returns.
Well, those are the three winners. For everyone who didn't win, I hope that you have no harsh feelings. I'll try to update again, but with school, it could be a while.
