Chapter 45: Supergirl Unbound

Middleton Colorado August 1st 1742 Hours UTC

Ahsoka Tano's Jedi Cycle, her covered bike, raced across the streets while Connor on the Supercycle followed in pursuit. Behind them were three helicopters with turrets beneath them. "So, what are the chances that they're not after us?!" Ahsoka yelled to the Boy of Steel. Connor grunted as he turned around and shot lasers at one of the turrets gunning them down. "They're black helicopters, Ahsoka! These things are always after us!" Connor yelled back.

Ahsoka nodded from within her covered bike and started to open up the roof. "R7, take the Jedi Cycle back and reattach it to the Fighter! I'm hitching onto the copter!" Ahsoka commanded as her Jedi Starfighter flew over her. The Jedi Cycle flew into the air and R7 let it attach onto the Jedi Starfighter. Connor smirked and had the Supercycle fly up as well. Ahsoka landed on the door of one of the helicopters and unsheathed her shoto, carving into the doorway.

She then attached a cable to the monitor and looked to R7 on a holographic screen. "Take it away, little bud!" she said. R7 beeped happily as he took control of the helicopter, using its turret to fire at the rest. "Head for the business office up ahead!" Ahsoka yelled down to Connor. Superboy nodded and the two landed on top of the roof, where a man in a white suit and mask was waiting for them with a man of superiority held by two other buff men.

Ahsoka and Connor both got out of their vehicles and approached the man dangerously. "Mademoiselle Tano!" the man in white exclaimed. "Et Superboy!" Connor remarked back. Ahsoka smirked and aimed her crossbow at the man. "André LeBlanc, surrender and release the Baron!" Ahsoka demanded. A smirk came onto André put a smirk on his face and calmly aimed the weapon away from him. "So, you want the Baron, do you?" he asked with a heinous tone of voice. "You want the Baron?!" he asked again, only more hysterical this time. Ahsoka and Connor both prepared to attack as André started to break out into maniacal laughter. After about a minute of laughing, he calmed down and looked to them deadpan while sticking his hands out. "Okay." He simply replied.

Ahsoka and Connor both looked to each other in confusion as Ahsoka took out a pair of stun cuffs and placed them on André's hands. "Really? That's it? No fighting?" she asked in confusion. "That's the part I was looking forward to." Connor complained. André Leblanc sighed and nodded in agreement. "Unfortunately, my caper includes a grievous accounting error." He explained, gesturing to the Baron. "A Baron's ransom isn't worth half a King's, and the helicopter drones are cheap." He added on before the helicopters that were chasing the duo flew out of control and crashed into each other. "For the first time, I, André Leblanc, the world's greatest jewel combatant, am starting to lose millions." He sadly stated.

Ahsoka patted the thief on the shoulder with compassion before R7 flew over. "Take him to Belle Reve." Ahsoka ordered. R7 chirped before carrying off André to the new reformed prison.

As soon as André was taken away, the Baron walked up to the two and smiled. "Thank you for saving me." He said. Ahsoka smiled and bowed respectfully. "Anything I can do to help make up for Mad Mod's nationalist attack back on July 4th." Ahsoka replied. Connor then walked up to Ahsoka and looked to his watch. "Uh-Oh." He said, causing Ahsoka to raise an eyebrow. "Is there another mission?" Ahsoka asked in confusion. Connor shook his head and sighed. "Kara's waiting for us in Smallville." He stated.

Ahsoka chuckled and smirked. "Finally! It's been a while since we hung out!" she exclaimed. Connor smiled and nodded. "Wonder what she's been up to since we last visited." The Boy of Steel asked out loud, thinking back to when Ahsoka and Kara first met. However, no one ever knew the mystery of why Kara stopped being the Girl of Steel, Supergirl.

Smallville 1924 Hours CDT

At the Kent Farm, Kara Kent laid around in her bed, her legs hanging over the side. She let out a sigh as she then leapt off and walked to her closet. She looked over to her Supergirl uniform and sighed again. As she stroked her finger on the side of it, she thought back to a conversation between her and Clark.

Two years ago…

"Kara, the world will need another hero to follow in his steps, with Superman's own powers. I know what you went through, but without you, what would I do?" Clark asked Kara as she lay in a hospital bed with an IV needle in her right arm. The Girl of Steel let out a tear as she looked up to Clark. "I don't know, Clark. He did a pretty good number on me." Supergirl sadly said.

Superman smiled and placed his hand on her shoulder. "I understand. If you need time away, then I can accept that, but until then, keep in spirit, Girl of Steel."

Present…

"But I never felt in spirit, ever since that day." Kara said to herself sadly. She let out a tear as she closed the closet and got her shoes back on. "I just don't… seem to understand about… heroics anymore." She added on more somberly.

Just then, she heard a knock on her door. Kara gasped and got herself ready. "Almost forgot about Ahsoka and Connor!" she exclaimed quietly to herself. Taking a deep breath, she opened the door and let out her best smile, seeing Ahsoka and Connor already there. "Hey there, Cuz." Kara greeted Connor. "'Sup, Kara?" the Boy of Steel asked back, the two knocking their fists against each other playfully. Kara chuckled before looking to Ahsoka. "What's going on, Miss Jedi?" she asked playfully. Ahsoka laughed before the two of them embraced each other in a hug.

"So, what do you want to do?" Ahsoka asked. Kara placed her hand to her chin and started to think. "Well, what about a movie? I hear that 'On Stranger Tides' is now on DVD and Blu-Ray." Kara suggested. Ahsoka smiled while Connor gave a grin. "Hope that they finally find the Fountain of Youth." Connor stated. "This will be my first time seeing the movie, so I don't know what to think." Ahsoka replied back as they entered Kara's room.

As Kara took out her laptop to order the movie, Ahsoka and Connor looked around. "You know, prior to earlier this year, Clark never told me about having a cousin before." He said, looking to posters of herself as Supergirl while Ahsoka looked to some medals. "You must have been pretty popular." The Togrutan said. Kara looked up and smiled.

Ahsoka then looked to more pictures and raised an eyebrow. "So, why did you stop?" she asked. Kara's smile lessened as she looked back to her computer, quickly pressing the 'purchase' button and closing it. "It would be nice if you left, I'm sorry." Kara quickly said. Ahsoka and Connor turned back, looking to each other with confusion before the Boy of Steel walked up to Kara. "Come on. I'm a Kryptonian, you're a… more unique Kryptonian, but we're all the same." He reasoned.

"We are not the same!" Kara replied, now through tears. Ahsoka stepped up and placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Why would you quit at the top of your game?" she asked. Kara continued to feel a bit of unease before turning around and using her Heat Vision to melt open a lock. Both Connor and Ahsoka turned around to reveal a newspaper with a picture of defeated and scarred Supergirl. "Your beating in '09." Connor stated.

Kara Kent nodded sadly. "I was beat badly back then. It took sixteen months for STAR Labs to heal me. When I got out, I quit on them." Kara explained, much to Ahsoka and Connor's surprise. "I waited for the next teen hero in line. I had a lot to show them, to show them all, but after what happened, I didn't want to." Kara also stated. Ahsoka felt sorry for Kara as she stood up and looked to the newspaper. "I keep this here to remind me of that day, and why I quit the hero business. I just didn't think that they'd want me. But I never knew that that world would… would come back to me again, to find me here." Kara added on.

Ahsoka sighed and placed her hand over her chest so that it would grab onto her elbow. "I know what it's like, trust me." The Togrutan stated. Kara looked up to Ahsoka with a small smile. "You do?" she asked. Ahsoka nodded and looked up. "Feeling betrayed by the Jedi was the biggest scar in my life. It caused me to leave, and even though I am living as a Jedi now, I can still feel some regret in doing so." She explained. Kara sighed and hugged Ahsoka. "Thank you." She said. Ahsoka smiled and patted her on the back.

Just then, a ringtone filled the room. Ahsoka looked to her comlink while Connor looked to his own cellphone. Kara giggled and stood up, reaching for a small device on a high shelf. "Sorry, that's an old communicator that I used back when I was still Supergirl. Didn't know that it still worked." She said. Ahsoka and Connor both awed in understanding before Kara pressed the button on the device.

"Supergirl, are you there?" a male voice asked. Kara's eyes widened at this as she tried to clear her throat. "Professor Emil Hamilton? Is that you?" she asked. A chuckle came from the transmitter before the professor spoke up again. "Girl of Steel, how I've been eager to hear your voice again!" Hamilton replied back. Kara giggled and sighed. "How can I forget an old friend who helped patch me up those years ago?" Kara asked.

"Well, since that last attack, I didn't know whether or not I'd ever be needed again." Professor Hamilton said. Both shared a laugh while Ahsoka and Connor watched with interest. "Anyways, something came up. My scanners have recently shown activity of an enemy we haven't encountered since your last battle." Hamilton explained. Kara's eyes widened with shock before they narrowed. "Go on." She said sternly.

"I'm sorry, but I can't explain with an open connection." Emil stated. Kara sighed as she leaned against her bed. "I know that you made a commitment to retire after your incident, but I need Supergirl back on the field again." Hamilton went on. Kara sighed again as she looked to the closet containing her old suit. "Can you help me?" Emil asked.

Kara started to stare at her suit and think back to those many years ago. Voices started to fill her head like a nightmare on Friday the Thirteenth.

"This world will crumble!" a voice said in her head.

"You were nothing like Superman, Little Girl Lost!"

"Keep faith, Girl of Steel."

The voices in Kara's head soon stopped after she huffed on the ground really loudly and really hard. Ahsoka and Superboy were taken aback by this before Kara grabbed her suit. "I'll do it." She finally replied. Ahsoka and Connor both smiled at Kara, patting her on the shoulder before she donned her uniform.

Metropolis 2031 Hours EDT

Ahsoka, Supergirl and Superboy all flew to Metropolis, where Professor Hamilton was waiting for them. "What's going on that's so important?" Connor yelled. Kara turned back and sent a glare. "It's a vendetta that I hope I would never have to face again for years to come." She explained.

"Don't leave us in the dark, Kara." Ahsoka said. "Tell us what's going on." She added on. Kara was about to tell them, but hesitated. "Zod." She then said with deep anger. Both Ahsoka and Connor were confused upon hearing this.

Soon, the trio all landed at STAR Labs, where the call from Professor Hamilton was coming from. Kara looked to her communicator and placed it up to her ear. "Where are you, Prof?" She asked. "The situation is taking place right inside." Emil stated. "I fear that the ORDER and the Light, or maybe even both, are attempting to use the Kryptonian Technology I have given to me by Superman." Emil explained further on, much to everyone's surprise. Ahsoka nodded and she, Connor and Kara all walked into the lab.

"There's one more thing, something concerning the Phantom Zone." Hamilton added on as the heroes entered the main room of the building, pitch black now. "What would that be?" Ahsoka asked through the transmitter. At that moment, a bright blast hit them all, causing a flash of bright light to engulf the area before they all disappeared. Emil Hamilton then stepped out from the shadows with a sinister grin on his face. "It was all nothing but a trap." He smugly stated.

Phantom Zone, Time Unknown…

Ahsoka and Superboy both started to wake up with a pain in their heads. "Ugh, anyone get the number of that bus?" Ahsoka asked as she rubbed her head. Kara walked up to them and extended her hand to the Togrutan. "Not a bus, but a laser." The Girl of Steel stated. Connor stood up as well and noticed the barren wasteland they were in. "Is this where I think we are?" Connor asked with a bit of anger in his voice.

Kara nodded and started to shiver in unease. "The Phantom Zone." She finished. "This place was meant to hold dangerous Kryptonians if they were ever too powerful." Supergirl added on. Ahsoka looked around the place and took a look at the sun. "Bad news about the sun." Ahsoka said. Connor and Kara looked up to it before Connor growled. "Blood Red Sun." He stated. "Good thing we're safe for now." Kara said with relief.

"Luckily, 'for now' is about to end real soon." A demented voice said from the side. Supergirl gasped and turned around, sending a deep glare at a man on top of a black hovercraft. "Zod, you bitch!" Kara cursed. General Zod looked down to Kara and scoffed. "You, like your Cousin, are traitors to the name of Krypton, Supergirl!" Zod exclaimed.

Supergirl growled and flew into the air, sending a relentless barrage of punches at the General. Zod dodged all of the attacks, but failed to see Kara perform a bicycle kick at him. Zod just laughed after this attack and punched her away. Kara snarled at Zod before he turned his attention to Ahsoka and Superboy.

Connor growled and charged at Zod, making him falter a little before getting back and shooting a laser from his hovercraft at the Boy of Steel, sending him back and scarring him. "Kryptonian Knockoff!" He spat at Connor in disgust. Connor growled at Zod and then looked to his shoulder, where a scab was now placed.

Ahsoka took out her shoto and removed its crystal while she shot an energized arrow at Zod. Zod simply got off of his ride and scoffed at the sight of Ahsoka. "You, Jedi, dare to interfere?!" He demanded. Ahsoka took out her shoto and smirked. "Double Dog Dare!" She quipped. With that, she flew off into the air towards Zod. Zod angrily attempted to shoot her, but Ahsoka just activated her shoto and aimed it at General Zod. Zod groaned in pain. "Kryptonite, Zod!" Ahsoka exclaimed.

Zod yelled in pain, getting Ahsoka to look back to Connor and Kara. "Go, hurry!" She yelled. The two looked to each other before looking back to Ahsoka. "Trust me here, go!" Ahsoka yelled before blasting two energized arrows at them. The two nodded as soon as the arrows hit the ground in front of them and ran off. Ahsoka then kicked Zod away before throwing down a smoke bomb. Zod started to get back to his senses and looked back up, now seeing that they were gone. He grew an insane smile on his face as he flew forward. "Regrouping to strategize, or running away?" He asked in a taunting voice before taking off.

Back on Earth, Professor Hamilton watched the battle go on with deviousness. "Luring the former Girl of Steel here was easy, but with the additions of Ahsoka Tano and Superboy?!" he exclaimed. He then laughed as he reached for a Communicator. "That's gonna get me a higher rank in the ORDER than I ever wished for!" Hamilton then activated the Communicator, and soon enough, a hologram of Sylas appeared. "Professor, report." Sylas ordered.

"Your Eminence, I have done as you ordered. Following Supergirl's defeat in 2009, when you recruited me into the ORDER, I have now trapped Supergirl in the Phantom Zone, along with the Team's members, Ahsoka Tano and Superboy." He stated.

Sylas chuckled and nodded. "Keep it up, Professor. You just might gain your spot on the ORDER's high ranks after all." He stated. Sylas soon hung up before Emil cackled. He then reached for a small device with Superman's emblem on it and grinned. "Three's a party, but how about I add in the Big Blue Scout to the list?" he asked himself. With that, he pressed the button on the device. "Superman, come in." Professor Hamilton said, covering up his dark side.

Back in the Phantom Zone, Ahsoka met Connor and Kara trying to heal their wounds at a nearby forest, devoid of life. She sheathed her lightsaber and sat down next to them, tending to a wound given to Superboy by Zod. Kara looked back to where they made their stand and let out a tear. Ahsoka took notice of this and continued to Force Heal Connor. "Who's Zod, Kara?" The young Togrutan asked.

Supergirl sighed and turned around to her two friends. "I always knew I wasn't safe from harm." The Girl of Steel started out. She took a deep breath as Ahsoka then helped to get Connor back onto his feet. "Long ago, I made a mistake as a Guardian for the Fortress of Solitude. An evil and corrupt Kryptonian named Zod found it, and I had to make a stand." Kara went on. "He beat me, badly, and then he prepared to make a finishing blow." Ahsoka and Superboy looked on with sorrow as another tear went down Kara's face.

"Luckily, Superman returned, and sent him to the Phantom Zone while I was delivered to STAR Labs for healing. I had enough after that. I quit on them." Supergirl finished up. "I just never thought that the day would come when I'd have to face Zod again." Kara continued somberly. "I mean, after that coma, I just felt so crippled, and so angered at the same time. Even if I had gotten revenge on Zod, I doubt that it would be for the better."

"Hey, I know what it's like to have a fear of facing my past, really, I do." Ahsoka spoke up. Kara and Connor turned to the Ex-Jedi as she softly placed her hand to her neck. "My race of Togrutans were enslaved by ruthless Slavers. On that day, when I learned that the Zyggerians enslaved my people, I wanted revenge by killing them and their queen." Ahsoka explained.

"So then, what happened after?" Kara asked. "It sounds like a rough struggle to get through, if you ask me." Supergirl added on.

"I spared her, but it caused me to be captured." Ahsoka said. Both were in shock before Ahsoka went on. "When I was freed by Master Skywalker, I spared them again, and I learned not to fear anyone else because of vendettas and revenge." Ahsoka concluded. She then turned to Kara and placed both her hands on the Girl of Steel's shoulders. "Learn to conquer your fears, learn to embrace them, and speaking through experience, you will gain a new insight on everything." Ahsoka said. Supergirl looked up to Ahsoka as the Togrutan extended her hand. Supergirl grinned and grabbed it. "Say it with me, Kara: We are going to own this bad boy! Are you with me?"

Supergirl chuckled before it turned into a friendly laugh. "By the word of the House of El, we are going to own this bad boy!" She exclaimed back. Connor joined in, and they all laughed.

Expanded Universe, Resolute…

Anakin and Obi-Wan started to plan out the planets they had already been to while searching for Ahsoka. "So far, Christophsis, Vjun and Munto Codru have been the only three places where we have found clues as to where Ahsoka is." Obi-Wan stated, charting down the planets on the Holographic Map.

Jedi Masters and Sisters Tiplee and Tiplar, who were present in the meeting via holograms, seemed to agree. "Wherever Ahsoka may by, we shall find her." Tiplee stated. Anakin looked down to the two Jedi Sisters and nodded. "I think that will be all." He said. The two sisters nodded and soon, their holograms fizzed away.

Captain Rex looked to the two Jedi and saluted. "Generals, we are approaching Ryloth, but our Afterburners and fuel are starting run low." The Clone Captain reported. Anakin sighed and placed his hand out in front of him. "Okay, Rex. Take your time in the repairs." He said. Rex nodded and after saying, "Yes, Sir", he walked away.

Obi-Wan looked to Anakin and placed his hand on his former apprentice's shoulder. "Anakin, I am anxious to find Ahsoka as much as you are, but I suggest that you take some time to ease up your senses and meditate." The Negotiator stated. Anakin looked over to Obi-Wan, who sent a friendly smile. "I'll oversee the operations while you are away." Obi-Wan reassured Anakin. The Chosen One smirked and nodded. "Thanks, Obi-Wan." He said. He then left, with Obi-Wan sighing and then looking to the monitor for any signs of Ahsoka.

Meanwhile, Zod continued to look for the three heroes. "You can't hide forever, Heroes Three!" He yelled out, his voice echoing the Phantom Zone.

At that moment, a blast shot at his hovercraft. Zod yelled as he was thrown off. He growled and looked around as he revealed his own Dark Mark of Krypton. "Shut up, Smart-Ass." Ahsoka spat. Zod looked to the Togrutan as Superboy and Supergirl walked up beside her. Zod chuckled darkly before unsheathing a Kryptonian Spear from his hovercraft. "Thought you'd never come out." He quipped.

"Tell us what your real goal is." Kara demanded. Zod laughed again as he thrust his staff into the ground. "Well, if you think that I work for that fool, Hamilton, then think again." Zod began. The three began to listen with shock before Zod went on, "He hopes to gain a high rank within the ORDER, but I will return to Earth and kill him, take credit for your deaths and disappearances, and with Sylas, we will sail the Cosmos with Earth as our vessel; choking it, corroding it. On its new soil, I will then pave way for New Krypton, the planet that will rule over every other."

Ahsoka crossed her arms and let out a yawn. "Are you finished yet?" She asked snipping. Zod raised an eyebrow at this. He was expecting anger from them, not this. "Impudent Prater!" He exclaimed.

"We're going to stop you, even if it kills us." Connor stated. Kara smirked and stepped up. "Whatever evil we despise, we dispose." She then quipped.

Zod laughed at the three before letting his cape flow in the wind. All four stood ready to battle. When the blades of the fallen hovercraft stopped spinning, they all charged.

Zod first attempted to attack Superboy by throwing his spear at his head, but the Boy of Steel just used his jet-powered boots to fly up before placing his fists together and landing back on the ground, slamming his fists onto Zod. The Corrupted Kryptonian yelled in pain, being thrown back by the attack. "Is that all you've got?!" He yelled.

As if on cue, three lightsaber blades came swinging by. Zod angrily turned his head to see Ahsoka with three wires, two in one hand and one in the other. She sent a glare at Zod and gave him a Slasher Smile. You talkin to me? she asked dangerously. Zod growled as he attempted to drive Ahsoka through, but the three of her lightsabers kept getting in his way. "You chose the wrong heroes to piss off!" Ahsoka exclaimed as she then Force-Lifted her Arm-Mounted Crossbow in front of her chest. Focusing as much Force Energy as she could, Ahsoka rested all of her lightsabers and then unleashed a powerful blast from her Crossbow.

As Zod was sent back, Supergirl flew in and started to punch away at Zod. "This is for Krypton!" She yelled, performing an upper kick at Zod. The General looked in anger and attempted to use his Heat Vision, but Kara grabbed his face with her hand and then threw him aside. "This is for Argon!" She yelled again, twirling up into the air and then blew a strong gust of wind at him. "And this, is for me!" She exclaimed, clapping her hands together, causing Zod to fly up into the air.

The Corrupted Kryptonian then landed on the ground and watched as Supergirl slowly walked towards him. Zod snarled as he attempted to get back up. "You, Kryptonian Traitor, have such a savage world." He spat. Supergirl looked Zod down and angrily glared at him, her eyes glowing red while his eyes were filled with hatred and anger. "Yeah?!" Supergirl yelled down. Her red eyes then subsided before stepping back. "Well, it gives me strength!" She exclaimed. With that, she gave Zod a mighty kick to the face, sending him back and knocking him out unconscious.

Ahsoka and Superboy walked up to Kara and smiled. "Great job." Ahsoka complimented. Supergirl turned to her and smiled. "Thanks." She said. The Girl of Steel then placed both of her hands on her friends' shoulders. "But I could've never done it without your help." She added on. The three all laughed, knowing now that Kara would be just fine.

Just then, a beeping came from Zod. Ahsoka narrowed her eyes at him and then looked to his side. She picked it up from Zod, still unconscious, and looked to it. "Some sort of transmitter." She said. Connor and Kara both looked to the transmitter to see a text appear. "'Zod, it's me, Hamilton.'" Connor started before Kara read the rest. "'The trap is set, and I have contacted Superman. Within moments, he will be at STAR Labs, and when I trap him in the Phantom Zone with Ahsoka Tano, Superboy and Supergirl, you will be free to finish him off. Reply back should you want to return to Earth and murder him there.'"

Ahsoka looked to the two Teens of Steel and smirked. "Let's send a message." She said sinisterly. Kara and Connor both smirked the same way Ahsoka did as the young Togrutan started to type up a message for Emil Hamilton. "'Professor, activate the portal. The Son of Jor-El will die at my hands.'" Kara and Ahsoka typed. The three chuckled soon after as a portal started to open.

Metropolis 2341 Hours EDT…

Superman flew into the room where Professor Hamilton was. "What is it, Professor?" the Man of Steel asked. Hamilton only grinned as he pressed a button before turning to Superman. "Only a surprise from the Phantom Zone." He remarked. Clark raised an eyebrow as the portal to the Phantom Zone started to open up. Emil Hamilton's grin grew wider as a figure started to emerge from the portal.

"Knock, knock!" two female voices called out tauntingly. Hamilton gasped and watched as Ahsoka first came out, followed by Superboy, and then Supergirl. Superman gasped at this and looked to Emil Hamilton, now in rage. "I don't know how you managed to defeat Zod, but you now have a return address to the Phantom Zone!" he yelled, preparing to activate his Phantom Zone Gateway.

"Well, this package has been replaced with a new delivery, and the sender's name is Emil Hamilton!" Kara quipped, shooting Heat Vision at Hamilton's device. The Professor gasped as he looked to his Phantom Zone Gateway, now sparking with electricity. "Go to Hell!" Supergirl yelled. With that, an explosion occurred, and Professor Emil Hamilton vanished from where he stood. Ahsoka, Kara and Connor all looked to where the portal used to be, which was now gone as well. Kal-El walked up to them and started to show worriment in his eyes. "Did you–"

"He's gone, now in the Phantom Zone." Kara explained. Kal-El sighed with relief before looking down to the three of them. "Hamilton sent us to the Phantom Zone, where Zod appeared and attacked us." Connor started out, getting Superman to widen his eyes with surprise. "The three of us managed to defeat him, and we tricked Hamilton into opening up the portal to send us back here." Ahsoka then finished up.

Clark sighed and looked to the machine. "It seems that with the ORDER around, we all have to be careful of whom we trust." The Man of Steel stated. Kara looked up to her cousin and nodded. "It seems that way." She replied. Kal-El looked down to Kara and smiled. "It's good to see you in that suit again." He said.

Supergirl smiled and then turned back to Ahsoka and Superboy. "Thank you." She said. The two heroes smiled before Kara walked off outside. "I think that now, the Girl of Steel is ready to return to the field." She said. Ahsoka smiled brightly before nodding to Kara. Supergirl nodded back before taking off.

Back in the Phantom Zone, Emil Hamilton lay unconscious. Soon, he started to wake up. "Had a nice rest?" a voice suddenly said. Emil looked up to see Zod, now scarred. "Once I'm done with you, I can guarantee some place for you in the ORDER." He taunted, his eyes now glowing. Emil just screamed as Zod approached him quickly.

Mount Justice August 3rd 1318 Hours EDT…

Ahsoka happily sat in her room. Everything was beginning to go well for her. Even though the ORDER was starting to bother her and bring back her past, she began to find life on Earth interesting. Smiling to herself, she walked over to her desk and started to write in a journal that M'gann gave to her a while back.

"'What a wild, strange ride this has been for me.'" Ahsoka started out. While she was doing this, she started to draw with her other hand. "'In my attempt to relieve myself of action and the Jedi, I find myself on a new world with heroes and somewhat Jedi of their own.'"

Bellwood, Illinois 0823 hours UTC…

As this was happening, Stingray floated out of the ocean. As he patrolled the waters, Novastar and Saga flew up to him. The three exchanged friendly greetings with each other as they soon started to wander about together. "'Meeting new friends was interesting…'"

Blüdhaven 1330 Hours EST…

"'Almost as interesting as meeting some others who refused to call themselves heroes, but still fought for a good purpose.'" Ahsoka went on, as the Outsiders leapt over one building to another. Cyborg ran on top of a building across from where the rest of the Outsiders were before accidentally dropping into one of the apartments.

Taiga, Raven and Jinx all looked to the metal man before Jinx helped him up. Cyborg looked to Jinx and nodded in thankfulness before taking off with his jetpack. Taiga used the Force to then repair the roof before the three hung out with each other again, talking about that encounter.

San Francisco 0537 Hours UTC…

"'Everyone fights for different reasons, some being personal…'" Ahsoka added as Raiden, also known as the Natural, waited outside of school for Baryl and Skye to come out. Ky was also waiting for them, and together, the four walked off to their motorcycles, driving off into the distance. "'And others being for the new world itself.'" Ahsoka wrote further on.

"'And some in low places, all of whom fight for the greater good of others.'" Ahsoka added on before Katana donned her crimson uniform and unsheathed her samurai sword, the Soultaker. "'But I know, that if I keep on believing, I will be able to find my own way, and maybe, come back to the Jedi.'" She finished up. As soon as Ahsoka finished writing, the text started to glow. Expanded Universe, Resolute…

Anakin Skywalker meditated in his chambers. Even though he was still searching for Ahsoka, he needed a rest. Feeling that he had meditated enough, he opened his eyes. On Earth-16, Ahsoka started to walk out of her room. For some reason, she could sense the presence of her master nearby. Liking the way things were now going for her, she placed both her hands over her chest and walked off, knowing that things would turn out for the better.
