Anakin looked out of the window of the bridge of the Resolute, and started to place a hand to his head. Rex and Yularen walked up to the Chosen One. "Is something wrong, sir?" Rex asked. Anakin started to moan softly as Obi-Wan walked up. "Master, do you sense that?" Anakin asked.
Obi-Wan looked out and started to place his hands softly to his head as well. "You mean I'm not the only one?" the Negotiator asked. Both Jedi looked out with much concern, not noticing the spiral anomaly on the other side of the planet.
Earth-16 | Bialya October 30th 1742 Hours UTC
"There is something sinister in the air." Alakshmi sung to herself as she hung her feet over the edge of the docks near the ORDER HQ. Sylas and Xion walked out as well as they watched Barriss and the Terror Titans take off in their new ship, The Grim Reaper. "Something monstrous heads this way." Sylas muttered.
Mount Justice October 31st 1941 Hours EDT
Ahsoka was having quite a fun night. According to her friends, this day was known as Halloween. It was a day when, much to her surprise, people would dress up in costumes and try to get the most goods by scaring others. Though the use of fear wasn't allowed by the Jedi, Ahsoka decided to give this newfound holiday a shot. That, and it was also a religious holiday.
Since Ahsoka didn't really have any costumes to wear, the Team was helping her try to find stuff in the storage compartment of her Jedi Starfighter. Ahsoka started to brainstorm on all the different kinds of costumes she could try on for Halloween.
Robin looked through all of the stuff in the pile of all of Ahsoka's stuff. He then came across a blue helmet, covered in what appeared to be ancient markings. "What's this?" He asked, inspecting the helm carefully. Ahsoka walked up and sighed as she looked to the helmet. She then turned to Serra and held it up. "Hey, Serra, you remember Argyus and his betrayal, right?" She asked.
"How can anyone forget?" Serra asked as she rolled her eyes. "Captain Argyus, Senate Commando, turned against the Republic for wealth from the Separatists, possible fate being killed by either Dooku or Ventress." Serra drawled. Ahsoka inspected the helmet and chuckled. "Maybe I could use this for my costume." Ahsoka wondered to herself.
"Remember, Ahsoka, tonight will also be your first time at the Halloween School Dance tonight." M'gann reminded her friend. She looked to the helmet before nodding. "Nice!" She exclaimed. Ahsoka smiled and nodded back before placing it down on the ground.
Wally West, dressed up as a werewolf like he did at the last Halloween Party, then came across a backpack. The Team all then recoiled in disgust as an odor started to come out from it. "Be careful with that one." Ahsoka said, walking over to pick up the backpack while covering her nose. "This once used carried the son of a crimes lord who allowed the Republic to use its passages to travel to and from Kamino, where we would get the Clone Armies from." Ahsoka explained. "Sadly, the crime lord was named Jabba the Hutt, very slimy, and his son, Rotta, aka Stinky, was the son my Master and I had to deliver."
"That's due for a wash!" Zatanna exclaimed as she continued covering up her nose. Ahsoka turned to her and nodded. "Perhaps." She said before she Force-Threw it all the way to the bathroom. The Team all let go of their noses and then breathed for fresh air before M'gann dug up another item.
M'gann could see that this one was not like the rest. It wasn't a piece of clothing or an accessory, but a lightsaber with ashes on the end of it. She stood up and pressed the activator button on it. It started to light up until sparks emitted from the emitter instead of a colored blade. "Ahsoka, whose lightsaber was this?" She asked.
Ahsoka looked to the lightsaber after having a laugh at what just happened. When she saw it, there was a long moment of silence. The Team all watched as Ahsoka picked up the lightsaber from M'gann's hands and held it in her own.
"This was the lightsaber of an infamous and dangerous Sith Lord." Ahsoka explained, getting everyone to come in to listen on the story Ahsoka was telling. The young Togrutan placed the lightsaber into the air and narrowed her eyes. "That Sith Lord was a part of the Nightbrothers Clan. His name… was Darth Maul." With that, Ahsoka activated the lightsaber, and a light shone in the Cave.
Battle of Naboo, Many Years Ago…
"It all started with the Trade Federation, before the Clone Wars. Viceroy Nute Gunray was holding a boycott against the Naboo, cutting off any means of entrance or exit." A Republic Ship enters Naboo, where a Federation Control Ship is resting outside of the planet. Two Jedi then walk into a room after being escorted by a Protocol Droid. When in the room alone, the two removed their hoods, revealing a man who was middle-aged and the other being just a teenage boy with a Padawan braid. "These Federation types are cowards. The negotiations will be short." Qui-Gon Jinn said to his Padawan at the time, Obi-Wan Kenobi.
"But as I was told, the Sith were persistent, and refused to give in, and the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Sidious, started to go to take measures in ensuring victory." Darth Sidious's Hologram appears to the Neimoidians of the Trade Federation. "This is my Apprentice, Darth Maul. He will find your… missing ship." Sidious said as a Zabrak in Sith Robes appeared behind his master.
"At last, we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi! At last, we shall have our revenge!" Darth Maul's voice called out as he clashed blades with Qui-Gon Jinn. "In an attempt to escape to the Republic to find help, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan landed with Queen Amidala of Naboo on the desert planet of Tatooine. There, they found my Master at a young age, a slave at the time, the Chosen One, known as Anakin Skywalker." Young Anakin crossed the finish line with his blue Podracer, winning the race and getting the money needed to free himself from slavery.
"But the time of happiness didn't last long. Everyone came back to Naboo, with the Gungan Army at their side." The Gungans started to throw orbs of energy at the incoming Droid Army while Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan led the rest of the People of Naboo into the Hangar Bay, where every pilot, including Anakin, took off while the two Jedi faced off against Darth Maul.
"In the resulting Duel of the Fates, Maul murdered Qui-Gon." Darth Maul kicked Qui-Gon Jinn in the chest after a blade lock, and then stabbed him straight in the stomach. "NOOOOO!" Obi-Wan yelled out. When the Ray Shields opened, Obi-Wan and Maul fought each other in a flurry. "It was only until Master Kenobi used his Master's lightsaber to cut Maul in half that the Phantom Menace of the Sith ended." Obi-Wan leapt from the hole to the reactor Maul threw him in and grabbed Qui-Gon's lightsaber, cutting Maul in half and then sending him down the reactor core.
"But it didn't end there. Darth Maul's brother, Savage Opress, found him on the planet of Lotho Minor, where he was deranged and his mind was disoriented." Maul cackled madly as Savage Opress carried him onto his ship and then flew away. "Mother Talzin, the Great Mother of the Planet of Dathomir, healed Maul's wounds and then, he set out for vengeance." As soon as Maul and Savage's ship landed, Space Pirates came out, in which they followed after them.
Everything then shifted to Obi-Wan taking the two Sith Brothers on with his own lightsaber and the lightsaber of his fallen comrade, Adi Gallia. He sliced off Savage's arm before getting Force-Pushed away by Maul. The two brothers, defeated, soon left, being fired upon by the Pirates when they left.
"Maul then gained control over Death Watch when he killed their leader, Pre Vizsla, and he started to rule his own criminal underworld after killing Duchess Satine, the leader of Mandalore." Maul Force-Grabbed the Darksaber and cut off Pre Vizsla's head, raising the Darksaber up into the air. "I claim this sword, and my rightful place as leader of Mandalore!" he yelled out. He was then seeing stabbing Satine in the chest before Obi-Wan saw the whole planet of Mandalore in ruins. "Maul and his brother had put Mandalore in a Civil War, and eventually, as some people are saying, it led to his own downfall." Mad laughter was heard in the distance as Obi-Wan took off, followed by screams of agony.
Present Time…
"Ever since then, no one knew what happened to Maul or his brother." Ahsoka finished up, placing the lightsaber onto the ground. The Team was in shock after hearing all about Darth Maul. Ahsoka walked to the edge of the cliff in the Hangar Bay and sighed as she crossed her arms. "He was the most feared Sith Lord after Darth Bane in the early days of the Jedi Order."
"Do you ever think that Maul could have somehow, gotten away after that turmoil on Mandalore?" M'gann asked. Zatanna nodded in agreement at this before speaking up herself. "My father once told me that Dark Spirits can manifest themselves on nights of the Lunar Eclipse." The mage stated.
Ahsoka looked to Darth Maul's lightsaber and sighed as she looked to it more carefully. "I don't know." Ahsoka stated. "Usually, only Jedi are able to become one with the Living Force." The Togrutan added on.
Just then, Aqualad looked out to the distant sky. "Come on. A fog's rolling in." He said. Ahsoka nodded to the Atlantean as she placed the lightsaber back on her pile of souvenirs and mementos. The Team all walked off as the mysterious fog began to flow into the Hangar Bay. Unlike other fogs, this one was black instead of white like the clouds. The mist then began to imbue itself into Darth Maul's damaged lightsaber hilt before subsiding.
M'gann then ran back into the room with Ahsoka. "Is it okay if I keep the hilt?" the young and intrepid Martian asked. Ahsoka chuckled and shrugged. "Well, since you asked nicely, why not?" Ahsoka replied. M'gann smiled as she grabbed the lightsaber of Darth Maul before the two regrouped with the rest of the Team. After they left, a red light started to show in the Hangar Bay, following Ahsoka. "Interesting, very interesting." A voice said as its shadow started to follow the Former Padawan.
Red Tornado looked at the Cave Monitors as Ahsoka and M'gann entered the Main Room, where the rest of the Team was waiting. "What did we miss so far?" Ahsoka asked Batgirl. Barbara looked to Ahsoka and sighed. "Sadly, we've got a mission right now, but Red Tornado hasn't given us the full details yet." The Female Dark Knight explained. M'gann sighed sadly as she sheathed the lightsaber hilt onto her belt.
"Team, we have just received news that the ORDER's Terror Titans, being led by Barriss Offee, alias Black Widow, are currently engaged in battle against the Light, being led by Klarion, leading Icicle Senior, Rako, Shimmer, Black Manta, the Terror Twins and Deathstroke." The Red Android reported. Ahsoka started to think as she placed her hand to her chin. "Wonder what Sylas would want from the Light, of all lowlife people in the world." Ahsoka wondered out loud. Garfield looked over to Red Tornado and placed his hand out in front of him in boredom. "So, what's our assignment?" He asked eagerly.
"You are to end their battle at the docks before the fight can escalate to cause further damage to Happy Harbor Bay." Red Tornado ordered. Ahsoka smirked and started to run off to her motorcycle. "Bet you I can't beat you there!" She called out challengingly. The rest of the Team all shrugged to one another before Garfield ran off as well. "Time to burn rubber! Finally!" He exclaimed. The rest of the Team all chuckled before running off after Ahsoka and Beast Boy, where they then took off on their bikes after giving Tornado the order to open the Hangar Doors.
After they left, a black blur zoomed past Tornado, getting him to turn around from his work. "Is anyone there?" He asked. Not hearing a response, he went back to the holo-computer, typing away. All of a sudden, Red felt the same presence in the room again, getting him to turn around, and this time attack with a powerful tornado. However, when he turned around, a red blade slashed his torso from his upper body, slicing him in half. The attacker then looked to the screen and smirked as he saw Ahsoka on bike head towards where the docks were. "There you are, Jedi!" The attacker exclaimed before running off in his black streak once again.
Aqualad and Ahsoka both led the Team to the docks. Zatanna looked up into the air and pointed a finger. "Silver Martian!" She exclaimed. Kaldur nodded and turned back to the Team. "When we get there, we take all of them down." He said. "It will be the last time the ORDER or the Light ever get in our way." Ahsoka added on. All of the Team was in agreement when they heard this and all skidded their bikes around the corner towards the docks.
As soon as the Team arrived, they saw Ultraboy taking on Rako, Falcon against Shimmer, Prowler fighting in bladed combat against Deathstroke, Blood Bane taking on Black Manta, Silver Martian taking on Tuppence Terror, Inertia against Tommy Terror and Enola against Icicle Senior, with the last being Black Widow while Xanadu was in a magic battle, fighting off against Klarion. "What the Hell does the Light even have that Sylas would want?" Saw whispered to Ahsoka. Ahsoka just shrugged before turning her attention to a crate that just got off of a Bialyan Ship. "Drol, what do you suppose is in there?" Ahsoka asked.
Jaybo took out some binoculars and started to see some infrared energy emitting from the crates. "Whatever is in those crates, they're giving off a lot of power." He exclaimed.
Artemis scoffed and aimed an arrow at the crates. "Well, then, let's see all that power go up in smoke after we kill these birds with one stone." The archer quipped. Aiming the explosive arrow at the crates, she released it, and it started to zoom past everyone.
Barriss turned around from battling and gasped when she saw the arrow coming towards her and the crates. Quickly, she used her lightsabers to slash it apart before spotting the Team. The ORDER and the Light all glared at the Team in anger at this moment.
"Attack!" Aqualad yelled as the Team came out from hiding.
"Attack!" Barriss commanded as she redirected the Terror Titans from the Light and to the Team.
"Attack!" Klarion demanded, getting all the members of the Light to attack everyone else.
"TAKE NO PRISONERS!" Ahsoka, Black Widow and Klarion all cried out. The battle between the ORDER and the Light was now with the Team as well, now becoming a battle royale.
Robin and Batgirl both toke on Shimmer while Falcon started to attack from the air. The Boy Wonder saw this coming and tossed some birdarangs at Falcon's falcorangs while Barbara and Shimmer sent punches at each other's faces.
Aqualad took on Black Manta, Icicle Senior and Blood Bane with both of his Water-Bearer blades. First slashing off Senior's ice-bladed arm, he clashed his left sword with Blood Bane's right and swung a water hammer construct at Manta. The two twins then clashed both of their weapons together before Manta charged into Blood Bane and Kid Flash and Inertia ran and attacked Icicle Senior.
Kid Flash and Inertia then got back to their clockwork battle, attacking each other at high speeds. Wally picked up a pipe and started to swing at Inertia. Eventually, he felled his evil green twin and stabbed the pipe into Inertia's leg, causing him to scream in agony.
Superboy then took on Ultraboy while trying to take down Rako. The Cambodian then ran in and then swung his sword at both of them. In a temporary truce, the two Kryptonian teenagers grabbed the blade of Rako's sword and snapped it in half before tossing him away. Connor and Ultraboy then growled at each other once again before resuming their fight, shooting lasers into each other's eyes.
Miss Martian flew up into the air with Zatanna and Rocket as they started to face Silver Martian, Xanadu and Enola. Raquel and Erin both formed shields and charged at each other angrily before Zatanna and Xanadu spun around and slammed their wands against each other while M'gann tossed Silver Martian to the ground with a telekinetic push and then piling three anchors on top of her. "Overkill much?!" Silver Martian yelled out before M'gann tossed an incoming arrow back at Prowler.
Prowler gasped at the incoming arrow and jumped to safety, only to be kicked by Artemis. The two snared at each other and shot arrows. Both arrows split each other in half before shooting explosive arrows this time. However, instead of the arrows cutting each other in half, they passed through each other and hit both archers, causing them to fall back before Artemis formed her naginata from her bow while Prowler took out two daggers and charged at each other, clashing their blades soon after before Artemis tossed an explosive arrow towards Tommy and Tuppence Terror.
Jaybo and Saw provided cover fire for Beast Boy as he tackled Tommy and Tuppence head-on as a rhino. Tommy managed to push him aside, but didn't see Saw leap in and then use his rifle as a melee weapon against him. "Hang on, brother!" Tuppence yelled out, but Jaybo zapped her with one of his Tasers. Tuppence looked to the little genius angrily before charging at him. Beast Boy turned into a gorilla at this moment and grabbed her from behind, giving Jaybo the chance to send a concussion blast towards her.
Ahsoka and Serra soon started to take on Barriss and Klarion. Ahsoka locked her blades with Black Widow while Serra dodged all of the curses and hexes that the Witch-Boy was sending her way. M'gann saw the battle and started to fly quickly towards Ahsoka and Serra. Just then, three large anchors were sent towards the Green Martian. M'gann gasped at this as she ducked, seeing Silver Martian floating in the air with the three anchors previously trampled onto her now revolving around M'gann's evil twin. "Going somewhere, Megan?" Silver Martian asked with a smirk on her face. M'gann growled and tackled her evil twin as Zatanna and Xanadu came along, clashing wands with each other as Ahsoka tripped Barriss with her crossbow. Black Widow fell to the ground in pain, and saved herself from death when Ahsoka slammed her lightsabers down by placing her own two lightsabers up in the air for defense. The two growled at each other before Black Widow threw Ahsoka off and into Klarion.
Ahsoka and Klarion soon turned around to each other, snarling at one another. Ahsoka reactivated both of her lightsabers and threw them at Klarion as Zatanna and Xanadu closed in on them. Seeing Ahsoka's magic friend come over, Klarion readied his hand full of energy and prepared to shoot Zatanna, only for Zatanna to aim her wand at him. Xanadu cackled as she let out an arm cannon from her mechanical hand, aiming it towards Zatanna and her wand to an incoming M'gann, who then threatened to psychically crush Silver Martian if Xanadu even thought about attacking her. Silver Martian chuckled and then aimed a jagged anchor point towards M'gann, who then countered by using another jagged anchor point at Barriss. Black Widow snickered and then aimed her lightsaber at Ahsoka, and before anyone could attack, they all stopped.
Ahsoka looked around at the odds and smirked. "Well, it seems that we're in a…" the Togrutan started out before turning to M'gann. "Hey, Megan, what was that scene from Kill Bill, where Quentin Taranto was in?"
"A Mexican Standoff." M'gann replied. Xanadu sneered at the Green Martian before Zatanna looked back to Ahsoka. "Let me guess: we're in a Mexican Standoff right now, aren't we?" the mage asked.
"Yeah." Ahsoka said.
"Yep." M'gann supported.
"Pretty much." Klarion added on.
While this was all going on, a man in a black robe was watching everything happen from the shadows. "It's just the Jedi I want." He said to himself in a sinister voice. The man then took out a lightsaber and started to walk up to Rako, trying to regain himself.
"Enough of this!" Barriss then spat at them. "Since the ORDER now has all of its enemies in one place…"
"As well as the Justice League…" Ahsoka added on.
"And the Light!" Klarion spat at everyone.
"This will be the perfect opportunity to finish you all off." Black Widow concluded, preparing to thrust her lightsabers at Ahsoka and M'gann while Zatanna started to blast a spell at Xanadu and Klarion.
All of a sudden, everyone heard Rako scream in the distance. The seven broke off from their Mexican Standoff and looked around, seeing Rako getting stabbed in the back with a red lightsaber blade.
Superboy and Ultraboy all looked with shock as Rako soon dropped to the ground, now dead. Robin and Falcon then saw Rako's sword get thrown towards Icicle Senior, the blade impaling the older ice villain in the leg before the same red lightsaber was thrown at his neck. The only parent of Icicle Junior was now reduced to a headless corpse.
Aqualad then gasped as he soon saw Blood Bane getting levitated in the air, somehow being choked. Kaldur turned his head away and flinched in pain as the sound of Blood Bane's neck cracking filled the area, followed by him dissipating into red mist and floating away to be fully regenerated.
Artemis gulped in fear, giving Prowler the chance to aim an arrow at her. Artemis turned around just in time to see this, but as Prowler shot, her arrow didn't hit Artemis, but instead reversed its direction and hit Prowler in the head, causing her to turn into violet mist and fly with the wind to be regenerated as well.
"Who's there?!" Klarion called out. Ahsoka and Back Widow started to aim their weapons at the air, trying to find out who their attacker was. Laughter was heard as Xanadu started to flinch in fear. "Come out and fight!" Zatanna then called out, aiming her wand in thin air.
At that moment, everyone heard some footsteps approach the area. A man in a black robe then appeared from behind some crates, getting Ahsoka's eyes to widen with shock. When the figure started to remove his hood, Serra gaped in surprise. The mysterious man then revealed a long lightsaber, getting Barriss stuttering in surprise, her teeth starting to chatter.
There, in front of everyone, was Darth Maul himself. The Lost Son of Dathomir, and the former apprentice to Darth Sidious. Ahsoka just hyperventilated nervously upon seeing Maul. In fact, everyone was. It took a while for them to take in all of the surprise. After that, Ahsoka regained composure and was able to calm down, now with a smile on her face as she turned to Barriss and Silver Martian. "Barriss, I must admit, I'm impressed right now." She stated.
Black Widow looked to Ahsoka and lifted the visor off of her helmet. "What?" She flatly asked. Ahsoka turned to Silver Martian and then chuckled. "You pulled off such an elaborate illusion with Barriss's knowledge of the past, Silver Martian, that I was almost convicted you actually thought I'd be fooled!" The Togrutan exclaimed in much relief. Black Widow and Silver Martian both looked to Ahsoka with much confusion.
"What are you talking about?" Xanadu asked, stepping up, getting Ahsoka to stop laughing for a moment as she listened to what the witch had to say. "Black Widow never even told us anything about her past! We could never have created an illusion like that!" Xanadu exclaimed.
Ahsoka's eyes widened with surprise before she looked to Klarion. "Witch-Boy," Ahsoka started out, placing her hand on her hip. "You got some 'splainin' to do!" She exclaimed, waving her arm around and about soon after.
Zatanna then stepped up, pointing her wand at the horned Witch-Boy. "I suppose then that you made a magical illusion to try to get all of us off our guard?" She asked. Klarion stuttered and shook his head as Teekl came along into his hands. "No way!" The Witch-Boy protested. Ahsoka and Barriss both looked to each other with confusion as Klarion went on. "There's no way I could ever conjure up something or someone that real in detail, plus, I've never even known who the freakin' guy is!" Klarion exclaimed further on.
Ahsoka, Serra and Barriss all gasped with surprise as they then looked to Darth Maul, preparing to activate his lightsaber. "So, then…" Serra stuttered.
"That must be the real…" Barriss continued on while putting the visor back onto her mask.
"The real Darth Maul!" Ahsoka finished up.
Maul growled and activated his double-bladed lightsaber, aiming it at everyone, in which Ahsoka, Artemis and Lux aimed their respective firearms back at him. "Jedi!" He drawled out. The Team, the ORDER, and the Light all narrowed their eyes at Maul, preparing to attack should he make his move. "I have endured years of pain and agony, waiting for the day to exact my revenge on the one who slain me before, the Jedi Master known as Obi-Wan Kenobi!" He exclaimed, gritting his teeth in anger. He then shifted his eyes towards Ahsoka and aimed his double-bladed lightsaber at her. "However, I know Kenobi better now, and since he won't be so easily swayed to face me, I will grab his attention by killing YOU!"
Ahsoka gasped in surprise and activated her green lightsaber and her yellow shoto. "Come and get it!" the Togrutan Ex-Jedi quipped.
"No!" Barriss then yelled out. Ahsoka turned to her former friend as she reactivated her twin lightsabers. "If anyone's to kill Ahsoka Tano, then it'll be me, Barriss Offee!" Black Widow exclaimed. At that moment, Falcon, Inertia, Ultraboy, Silver Martian, Xanadu and Enola all ran up behind Black Widow, preparing to fight.
"Not if the Light can get to do it first!" Klarion spat, getting Tommy Terror, Tuppence Terror, Shimmer, Black Manta and Deathstroke to all support him.
Ahsoka then looked to the Team and nodded. All fourteen other Team Members aside from Ahsoka herself all got up, standing with what now seemed to be a temporary alliance made up of the Team, the ORDER and the Light.
Tommy and Tuppence both ran up and attempted to drive Maul into the ground, only for the Sith to just use the Force to grab an entire cargo ship and throw it at them, sending the Terror Twins into the Ocean.
Falcon tossed three shurikens all composed of knives and some falcorangs at the Nightbrother with Silver Martian throwing anchors and Inertia running up for a speed attack. Darth Maul then tossed his lightsaber all three simultaneous attackers, disintegrating them easily before the blades also hit Ultraboy, Xanadu and Enola, getting rid of them as well.
Black Manta shot lasers from the visor of his mask while Deathstroke shot some bullets. Maul cut through them all before Force-Choking the two and sending them towards Klarion. The Witch-Boy got out of the way and tossed a ball of red energy at Maul, but he deflected the blast as he slowly walked forwards towards Klarion. Klarion then sent Teekl to attack the Sith Lord, but Maul slashed at Teekl's chest and sent him flying like a rag doll. Klarion then nervously attempted to shoot lightning at Maul, but now that Maul was close to the Witch-Boy, he grabbed his arm and laughed. "Your magic is nothing more than a mere and pointless illusion!" Maul spat, breaking Klarion's wrist soon afterwards. Klarion squealed in pain before Darth Maul performed an upper slash, scarring the Witch-Boy's left eye. Klarion screamed in horror before running towards Teekl and making a portal to get away.
Black Widow growled at this turn of events. "Cowardly Bitch!" She cursed. Maul then jumped in front of Barriss and reactivated his lightsaber. Black Widow looked to Darth Maul and scowled. "I've looked over your fighting style for years, Maul, and right now, what better way to test them out, then to test them out on you?" she quipped sadistically. With that, Barriss formed her double-bladed lightsaber and charged at the Sith Lord.
Maul reactivated his double-bladed lightsaber, clashing high with an uppercut slash from Barriss. He soon broke off and started to strike back, but Barriss clashed once again and then broke off, attempting to perform an overhead Ataru slash, but Maul just ducked and then struck with a Shien strike. Barriss pushed him off and the two circled each other, Barriss then striking with her spider legs, sending Maul to the ground.
The Team watched in awe at the battle, wondering who would win. "We're ready when you are, Ahsoka." Rocket said to Ahsoka. The Togrutan nodded in response as Barriss leapt into the air to attack Maul again.
"This time, I'll make sure you stay in two!" Black Widow quipped. Maul just cackled and separated his two lightsabers, knocking Barriss away and onto the ground next to him. Black Widow groaned as she got up, one of her lightsabers getting knocked out of her hands and into the Ocean. Darth Maul dangerously approached Widow, performing a Niman uppercut slash with his right lightsaber before swinging a Soresu overhead strike, getting Barriss to duck, and she immediately clashed with his left lightsaber, but didn't see him support the defensive stance with his right, which disarmed Barriss. Black Widow backed away slowly before all of her spider arms were cut off completely, and she was sent flying at an anchor.
"Now!" Ahsoka yelled, getting the Team to attack. Robin threw two birdarangs at the Sith Lord Darth Maul, but he simply slashed them apart as Robin charged towards him. Maul then threw Dick aside with the Force as Aqualad attacked him with water bearer swords. Darth Maul slashed Kaldur's left water bearer into pieces, Aqualad attempted to fight with the one he had left until his right joined his left. Unsatisfied with the challenge, the Shadow Hunter Force-pushed the Atlantean to the ship in which he used to take down Tommy and Tuppence. Darth Maul then swung his hand wide as Kid Flash fell to the ground, his chest injured by the heavy punch that was sent at him. He sent a heavy kick to Superboy and sent Miss Martian towards a pile of crates.
With the starting five founders of the Team unconscious or defeated, Artemis shot an arrow at Darth Maul and clashed head-on with him with her naginata. Maul cackled at Artemis's attempts and started to push his blade against hers. "Is that all you've got?!" he asked tauntingly as he swatted the archer aside. Zatanna incanted a spell that would heat his lightsaber hilt but it didn't work. Fearing the worst, she started to run until she was sent flying towards the ground. She could hear the distorted laughter of the Shadow Hunter before Zatanna soon fell into unconsciousness.
Rocket then flew in, creating a shield around Maul. "Try and get out of that!" Raquel exclaimed. Maul simply smirked at Rocket before raising his hand into the air. Rocket soon started to feel a lack of oxygen as Maul clenched his hand into a fast. The bubble around him soon started to fade away. Once it was gone, Maul released his tight grip on Raquel, and she fell to the ground soon afterwards.
Batgirl then tossed three batarangs at Maul while Beast Boy transformed into a wolf. Maul easily grabbed the batarangs and then sent them back to Barbara, hitting her on impact, and then sent a heavy kick towards Garfield to the ground. Lux, Saw and Jaybo then all charged at Maul, who was prepared to take them all on.
Ahsoka watched with horror as she stood ready to attack when the time came. However, from her previous fight with the ORDER and the Light, she was starting to feel a bit tired out. I have to press on! She thought to herself with encouragement, preparing to attack when necessary.
Saw was thrown into some pipes as Jaybo rolled over. Lux and Jaybo then looked to each other and nodded. As Serra tried to gain a vantage point to get a clear aim to attack Darth Maul, she turned to see Jaybo and Rebel. The two looked back to Serra and nodded as she nodded back. The two boys then provided fire for Serra as she rushed in to attack Darth Maul. Maul only scoffed at this attempt and deflected all of the blasts before Force-Pushing them away. Lux and Jaybo both yelled in surprise as Serra then clashed with Maul. Darth Maul looked to Serra as they clashed lightsaber blades and smirked. "I know your limits, Shan, but as of now, you are not my main target!" Maul exclaimed. Serra gasped as Maul said this before he sent a heavy kick at her, causing the Shan to go flying into Lux, Jaybo and Saw.
Then, it happened. Ahsoka activated both of her lightsabers and charged at Maul, getting him off of the offensive. "Stay back, everyone! Maul is mine!" Ahsoka exclaimed. Darth Maul broke off with her two blades before slashing her away, the two continuing their fight elsewhere. "You're going all the way to Hell, Maul!" Ahsoka exclaimed. Darth Maul only laughed madly at this before attacking again with his double-bladed lightsaber. "I will be the one to take you down, Tano! And I will do it slowly and painfully enough for you to feel every bit of pain I once felt!" Maul exclaimed back. M'gann just looked up onto the battle and grunted. "Gotta help." She said to herself, limping off after her Jedi friend and the Sith Menace.
The fight between Ahsoka and Darth Maul soon took them near the Happy Harbor High School, where the Halloween Dance was taking place. I can't let Maul hurt any of the students! Ahsoka thought to herself as she and Maul ran alongside the outer wall of the school. Ahsoka had both of her blades pressed against Maul's before the two broke off.
"Enough games, Padawan!" Maul exclaimed. He performed at least two Juyo swings at Ahsoka before she blocked his blade with her shoto. She then kicked him aside before they switched positions, with Maul using Vaapad against her once again. Ahsoka tried to counter with both of her lightsabers in her usual Djem So stance mixed with Jar'Kai. Eventually, she was being backed into the parking lot.
Maul used two Vaapad swings like before as Ahsoka blocked with both of her lightsabers. She attempted an upper swing from her shoto, but Maul knocked the blade aside as she went on defense. She then attempted an overhead strike, but Maul knocked the attack aside as well. Angrily, Darth Maul pressed his blade against Ahsoka's and pushed her back before they both struck at once with their right blades. Ahsoka attempted to strike with her emerald lightsaber again, but Maul knocked it right out of her hands before kicking her into a car, getting her to drop her shoto and her arm-mounted crossbow scabbard.
Ahsoka panted, exhausted from her previous fight and then unsheathed her azure lightsaber and Force-Grabbed a crowbar. She ran at Maul, attempting to at least scar him with the crowbar, but Maul grabbed the metal pole and cut it in half. Ahsoka gasped at this before she grabbed what was remaining of it. She adjusted the crowbar so that the curved end of it was her blade, and the smoother side was her hilt. Maul laughed at this and aimed his lightsaber at her. "Ha!" he remarked. "Was fate supposed to put up more of a fight?!" he retorted. Before he could go on, Ahsoka slammed the crowbar at Maul's head, knocking him back. The two twirled each other around before Ahsoka started to strike back.
Maul growled even more and then swung his double-bladed lightsaber at Ahsoka, but she used both of her weapons to block the attack and then knock aside Maul's blade with the crowbar. The metal weapon and the red lightsaber clashed together before Ahsoka broke off with her blue lightsaber. The two clashed again as Ahsoka then swung the crowbar, but Maul grabbed it this time and the lifted Ahsoka into the air. He started to show a devilish grin as Ahsoka gulped for what was about to come next. "Wynock Spit!" she cursed out loud.
Meanwhile, inside of the school, Mal Duncan, dressed in his 'Superman done right' costume from last year, Karen Beecher in a wasp costume and Wendy Harris dressed as Kim Possible all waited for M'gann, Connor, Ahsoka and Lux to arrive. "I wonder what's taking them so long." Wendy said out loud as Marvin, who was dressed up as The Atom, walked over with some punch. "I'm pretty sure that they're just late." He stated as Snapper Carr walked up, dressed as Sephiroth, came over. "After all, so far, so good. Seeing as there is no prank this year." The teacher added on.
All of a sudden, Ahsoka came crashing through the wall. Everyone gasped as she crashed into the stereo, and then the table where Mal, Wendy, Marvin, Karen and Snapper Carr were at. She groaned with much pain before yelling in agony. Due to all of the stress put onto her, she flashed right into her Ashley human disguise, now officially exhausted.
"Ashley, our Ashley Tanner, is the Ahsoka?" Wendy asked with surprise. Ahsoka weakly looked up and chuckled. The rest of the students came over, looking both surprised and happy about the new realization. Ahsoka attempted to get up, but since she was strained from the last battle, she fell to the ground and then turned back to her original Togrutan skin.
Just then, the stage where the stereo stood was slashed apart. Everyone turned around in surprise as Darth Maul then walked in, his blades shining red. "Get out!" he yelled at everyone, swinging his left arm in front of them. The students all gasped as they were tossed aside like ragdolls. Mal and Karen both looked down to Ahsoka before sending the Sith Lord glares. Darth Maul stopped and chuckled at them. "Do you want to end up like the rest of the children?" he taunted.
"We will not let you lay a hand on Ahsoka!" Karen stated. Mal nodded and then picked up a metal rod. "You want her, Hellboy? Then you'll have to get through us first!" he quipped.
Maul cackled at this as he walked towards them slowly. "A bold and mighty claim, but that will not save you from me!" he remarked.
Karen ran at Maul, avoiding getting stabbed by his long lightsaber and started to punch at him. Maul blocked with his fist, but didn't see her performing a roundhouse kick. Maul just stood there, and when Karen landed the kick on him, she groaned in pain, not expecting to feel all the metal in his legs. She then took three fractured glass plates and tossed them at the Sith Lord. Maul ducked as they went by, and laughed at the scars he got. He then grabbed Karen's incoming fist, and then threw her to the wall.
"This anger, it makes you strong!" Darth Maul exclaimed as he looked to Karen and then to Mal. "However, it doesn't scare me." He remarked as he aimed his lightsaber at Mal Duncan.
Mal growled at this as he picked up a football. "GET OUT OF OUR SCHOOL!" Mal yelled angrily. With that, he charged at Maul, throwing a football into his chest. The Zabrak Sith was pushed back by surprise before Mal then tossed a second football at him. Maul was pushed back again before a basketball was tossed at him. Finally, Mal tackled Darth Maul head-on, getting them into the center of the gym.
Ahsoka just looked up and gasped at what was happening. "No, guys. Don't!" she tried to yell, but was still too weak to get back up on her feet. She then attempted Force-Meditation as Mal and Maul resumed their battle with each other.
"You wanted anger?!" Mal yelled angrily, continuously swinging his pole at Maul. The Sith found Mal to be a tough opponent, especially when he was this angry. Maul tried to fight back, but Mal continued to swing at his hilt. "I'll give you ANGER!" Mal went on, thrusting the metal rod into Mal's chest before slamming it onto his head.
M'gann, nearly recovered, was flying over to where Ahsoka was. "Her trail leads to the school!" she exclaimed to herself. She started to fly on faster.
When M'gann arrived at the school, she could see Mal trying to fight off against Darth Maul. Maul angrily snarled and struck back at the football player. His lightsaber hilt and Mal's metal rod clashed before the Sith sliced the rod. Mal growled and continued to use what was left of it, but Darth Maul just Force-Lifted him into the air and towards the stereo. Mal screamed in pain as he was electrocuted by the electrical feedback.
M'gann gasped at this. "No!" she yelled. She looked first to Ahsoka, defeated and exhausted. She then looked over towards Karen, on the ground and unconscious with some blood dripping. Then, she looked to Mal, who was twitching from the electrical shock he had just endured. Finally, her eyes shifted and narrowed at Darth Maul, who scowled at the challenge that Mal gave him.
"Ahsoka!" M'gann called out. Ahsoka's eyes widened upon hearing her name get called. She looked out to the distance to see M'gann standing at the hole in the wall that Maul made. Ahsoka struggled to get up, but she was still feeling to weak. M'gann glared at Maul and the extended her left hand to the side. Coming right to her was the arm-mounted crossbow scabbard and Ahsoka's green lightsaber. "You're dead, Maul!" M'gann remarked, holding out the lightsaber hilt in her right hand. Darth Maul gasped and turned around. "Who are you?" he asked curiously. M'gann said nothing as the wind started to blow.
Ahsoka looked up with surprise. "M'gann, I thought I told you and the rest of the Team to stay back while I fought Maul! What are you doing?!" Ahsoka called out. M'gann only narrowed her eyes at Darth Maul, who was now looking to the Martian with interest. "I lied, Ahsoka. He's going to Hell," M'gann started out, her uniform becoming darker. "And he's not coming back."
Maul looked around as the winds began to shift. "What's going on?!" he yelled out. Once again, M'gann narrowed her eyes at him, starting to place out the crossbow scabbard in front of her as her Stealth Uniform started to show. "This is a mysterious turn of events." Maul stated as he watched what M'gann was doing. Slowly, she placed the lightsaber into the scabbard. After a while, she pulled it out, now activated and glowing brightly. She then switched the reverse-hand grip she had on the lightsaber and aimed the blade straight and low the ground. She slowly changed the direction of the lightsaber until it was at her side. At that moment, her full black uniform emerged, the young Martian now glaring angrily at Darth Maul as she aimed the lightsaber at him.
Darth Maul growled nervously as Miss Martian slowly advanced towards him. He held his lightsaber hilt at his side, waiting to activate it. Ahsoka finally stood up and widened her eyes at the sight of M'gann. To Ahsoka, she was looking like a Jedi Master. "Whoa!" she exclaimed. M'gann then placed her left hand out, lifting the Shadow Hunter into the air and then throwing him further away. Maul gasped at this and soon started to run away. M'gann gave chase afterwards. Ahsoka was about to follow, but still felt herself weak. "Still need to recover." She told herself. She then sat on the ground in a meditative position and started to heal herself. The thought of M'gann facing Maul, however, was still intact in her mind.
Darth Maul started to run down the halls until he reached the underground parking lot. He started to laugh madly. "This mysterious new Jedi is finally giving a decent challenge!" he yelled out loud. All of a sudden, he found that he had nowhere else to run. Before he could turn around, he heard a female voice, the same one that called him out earlier. "Dead end." M'gann stated. Maul turned around and saw M'gann slowly walking towards him, lightsaber in her right hand and blaster scabbard in her left. Darth Maul growled lustfully and cracked his neck.
"Alright, fine!" he yelled out as M'gann continued to approach him. He then activated his lightsaber and cackled. "Let's see what you can do!" After saying that, Maul ran towards M'gann and attempted to behead her, but she blocked the blade and then broke off. The sinister Sith Lord ducked from her next attack, but didn't see the young Martian then attack with her blade again. Maul attempted to stab Miss Martian, but she threw the blade aside and then disarmed him. Maul twirled around before M'gann sent an upper slash towards him, causing the Zabrak to fall to the ground, now defenseless.
Darth Maul just cackled even more as he extended his right hand to the side. "Well, let's see you take me down now!" he remarked, using the Force to grab a pillar from the side and throw it at M'gann. M'gann just growled as she ran towards Maul, slashing aside the pillar and then slashing him.
Maul gasped and was sent twirling back. He looked to his left shoulder and saw that it was scarred by M'gann's attack. "Impressive. Most impressive!" he exclaimed, but the only response Maul got from the Martian was more slashes from her lightsaber. Maul tried to regain his own lightsaber, but M'gann's fast movements prevented him from doing so.
"A Master over Vaapad!" Maul yelled out, but M'gann just slashed down at him before slashing back in the opposite direction and then grabbing her lightsaber with both hands to send a powerful stab at the Zabrak. Maul gasped and used the Force to defend himself, but he was sent back by the powerful impact of the thrust. Panting and nervous about not facing someone this strong before since he took on Darth Sidious with his brother, he started to run away again, but M'gann quickly gave chase.
Meanwhile, Ahsoka continued to meditate. "I'm almost done, M'gann! I'll be there to help you soon!" she told herself. She was just about to then get back to her Force Meditation until he heard Maul call out, "No! Leave me alone!" Ahsoka gasped at this as she finished up her meditations. Quickly getting up and regaining her blue lightsaber and yellow shoto, she looked towards the door M'gann chased Darth Maul down and saw Maul himself emerging, limping against the wall.
Maul nervously looked around to see if M'gann was still following him. "She's gone." He stated after a while of not seeing the Martian.
All of a sudden, he was lifted up into the air, losing oxygen. Miss Martian them flew out angrily, her arm clenched in front of her as she looked up to Maul. Darth Maul gasped before he was tossed to the bleachers and then to the floor. As he got up, M'gann unsheathed the lightsaber from the scabbard and started to slash at Maul once again. Maul ducked and dodged from all the attacks, but was then punched in the chest by the crossbow. M'gann then slashed him to the side and aimed her lightsaber at him.
The Sith Lord then held up his hand in surrender. "Stop!" he yelled. M'gann slowly ceased advancing towards Maul as he started to stutter. "M-maybe I'm changing my mind about my choice." He reasoned. "I want to be with the Jedi. Let me join you instead."
"Well, you should have thought about that before you murdered Qui-Gon, Adi, and Satine!" M'gann remarked. Maul gasped and shook his head. "No! I meant no malice with those actions!" he exclaimed.
M'gann growled and lifted her lightsaber into the air. "LIAR!" she yelled out. Maul attempted to dodge M'gann's blade once again, but she was moving too quick for him. "Look around! This is no accident!" she exclaimed, lifting Maul into the air once again and then throwing him hard towards the bleachers. Darth Maul attempted to get up, but now he was the one feeling too weak.
Darth Maul stuttered as he continuously tried to get up. "Have mercy! Please, please!" Maul called out. M'gann growled as she looked down to Maul, raising her lightsaber once again. "I am only a victim!" Maul wailed. M'gann scoffed at this statement. "A victim of your own cowardice, you mean?!" she yelled. "Do you concede?!" M'gann yelled. Darth Maul remained silent as he closed his eyes, M'gann still approaching him. "DO YOU ADMIT DEFEAT?!"
"No, no, no!" Maul yelled out, turning around. Much to M'gann's surprise, his eyes were red with anger. "You will die!" he screamed. M'gann then started to get levitated into the air. She gasped for air as she deactivated her lightsaber and reached for her throat. "Can't. Breathe!" she stuttered.
Ahsoka looked on with shock before witnessing Darth Maul toss Miss Martian aside, into the parking lot and onto a car. Her impact was so hard that the hood of the car broke. Her lightsaber and arm-mounted crossbow scabbard fell from her hands during the fall, and now she was defenseless. Maul scoffed and spat out some blood as he approached M'gann. He then activated his double-bladed lightsaber and looked M'gann over. "You, Jedi, are WEAK!" the Sith Lord yelled out, thrusting his lightsaber at M'gann.
Ahsoka ran over and gasped. "NOOO!" she yelled out. M'gann started to scream in pain as she was impaled by Maul's lightsaber. She struggled to get herself out of the hold, but she could then feel blood drip. Maul held her up in the air and then let her sweat over an exposed car engine. The engine exploded, and Maul was now holding M'gann over a red, fiery inferno. M'gann started to sweat even more. "Do it." She told Darth Maul weakly.
Darth Maul shook his head and continued to look at M'gann, still levitated in the air by his blade. "It is now clearer." He stated. M'gann struggled and shrieked even more as she continued to feel the pain rush through her. "It was now two Jedi I sensed upon arrival, but three! The third power is beyond my Master and Skywalker himself!" the Zabrak Sith exclaimed. M'gann growled at Maul, but he still kept his eyes on her. "Who is your Master?! I demand to know the source of your great power!"
"Let her go, Maul!" Ahsoka then yelled. Maul looked to the side, and then was greeted by a large Force-Push, getting him to fall and M'gann to be released from his grasp. She gasped as the lightsaber fell from her chest. Still, she could feel some blood dripping as Ahsoka pulled her out of the fire. M'gann smiled up to Ahsoka. "Thanks." She said.
At that moment, Ahsoka's hand was raised into the air and it immediately slapped M'gann in the face. "Ouch." M'gann said upon feeling the slap. "Not sure I deserved that." She added on.
Ahsoka then helped M'gann up to her feet before sending an angry glare. "What the Hell were you thinking?!" she exclaimed. "You nearly died!"
"I know, but I couldn't just let Maul get away with murdering you." M'gann replied.
Ahsoka gasped at this before she embraced her Martian friend. "Thank you." The young Togrutan said. M'gann smiled before hugging Ahsoka back.
Darth Maul then laughed, causing the two girls to turn back to the flames. Maul started to emerge from the fires, his face scarred even more and his robes ripped. Ahsoka then Force-Grabbed both of her lightsabers with her arm-mounted crossbow scabbard and held them in her Shien position while M'gann picked up the fallen shoto.
Maul snarled and charged at them. The two girls clashed high with the Sith, engaging in a blade lock. The three started to circle each other before M'gann broke them off. Miss Martian ran and attempted to strike, but due to her earlier near-death experience, she was starting to feel a bit exhausted. Maul sneered and started to take advantage of her condition, activating the other side of his lightsaber and using Vaapad against her. M'gann gasped and tried to dodge all of the quick-spinning blades. She kicked Maul in the chest and then attempted to slice him in two, but Maul just slammed his hilt to her head and the two clashed once again. M'gann attempted to keep up with his movements, but upon an attempt to decapitate the evil Sith Lord, her shoto was knocked out of her hand. Defenseless, Maul twirled around and Force-Pushed M'gann back before Ahsoka ran up and clashed him with her own lightsabers.
M'gann gasped upon being disarmed. "Wait!" She said out loud, reaching for the lightsaber relic Ahsoka let her have earlier on. She tried to activate it, but only sparks came out. She tried to activate it again, but the result was still the same as sparks came out instead of a blade.
Ahsoka continued to clash with Darth Maul, striking with every lightsaber technique she knew. As Maul tried performing a Shii-Cho strike, Ahsoka ducked from it and struck back with a Makashi jab. Maul was caught off guard by this and turned around in anger before Ahsoka slammed her blade against his.
M'gann looked onto the battle as she watched Ahsoka take on Maul. She was without a weapon, and was near dying within a matter of moments. As she looked to the damaged lightsaber, an idea started to run through her mind. "That's it!" She exclaimed.
Darth Maul broke off with Ahsoka as they circled each other. The Togrutan fell to the ground as Maul raised his saber staff into the air. "Now, Jedi, you will die!" He exclaimed.
At that moment, M'gann ran towards Maul, sending a powerful Telekinetic Push towards him. Maul was thrown off as Miss Martian grabbed onto his lightsaber hilt. "Haven't you learned your lesson?!" Maul taunted as the two struggled over the lightsaber. M'gann only scoffed as she brought herself behind the hilt, continuing to struggle to gain the lightsaber. "What would that be?!" M'gann yelled back. Maul growled and jumped over the Martian, the two pulling on the long lightsaber hilt. "You Jedi never win!" Maul remarked. After saying that, Maul knocked the hilt against M'gann's head, getting the red blade to close in on her.
M'gann panted as she tried to prevent herself from getting killed by Maul's blade. "One error about that, Maul!" M'gann yelled at the Sith. Maul looked in surprise as M'gann then pulled out her damaged lightsaber hilt towards Maul's face. "I'm no Jedi!" She then exclaimed. With that, she pressed the activation matrix on the half hilt, and sparks emerged. Maul staggered back in surprise as he attempted to get the sparks out from his eyes.
Ahsoka looked to M'gann as she now held the other, fully working hilt of Darth Maul's lightsaber in her hand. M'gann grinned as she placed the broken hilt on her belt and then telekinetically grabbed the fallen shoto from the ground. Maul finally had his vision cleared, and glared angrily at the two girls, now dual wielding lightsabers.
The three began to circle each other, all twirling their lightsabers and waiting for one another to attack. Maul snarled at them and started to attack with a quick Vaapad swing from his single lightsaber. Ahsoka and M'gann both blocked the attack with their two lightsabers before Ahsoka struck with a lower Shien strike at Maul's abdomen, but Maul swung the blade aside before M'gann scarred his face with his own lightsaber and then blocking a jab with the shoto. Ahsoka then performed an overhead Ataru strike at Maul's head twice, which was blocked. The three twirled each other and the two alien girls were now in both sides of the Sith Lord. Both attempted to strike him in the chest with twin Shii-Cho strikes, but Maul performed a Shien defense stance and knocked them both away. Ahsoka jumped into the air and struck at Maul. The Sith blocked the attack, but was then attacked in the back by a down swing from M'gann. Maul groaned at this as Ahsoka then landed. Both females twirled in tandem and clashed again with Maul, also twirling. Once they finished twirling, Ahsoka, M'gann and Maul all held their blades high and swung at each other. Ahsoka and M'gann both stabbed their blades towards Maul from both sides while Maul swung at them back.
After a while, M'gann dropped her lightsabers, and Maul started to cackle. All of a sudden, Darth Maul gasped when he saw where he swung his lightsaber. Ahsoka held up her arm-mounted crossbow scabbard as a shield, blocking the red blade in the process. Ahsoka and M'gann then both looked down to their own blades. Maul looked down as well as he finally noticed that the two had successfully stabbed him in the chest.
Darth Maul gasped at this outcome while Ahsoka and M'gann both pulled away their blades. The Zabrak chuckled and sighed lustfully. "You have won this fight over a Dark Lord." Maul remarked, now starting to fade away into black mist. "But you can't win against your own darkness, Padawan Ahsoka Tano." Darth Maul then finished up, spreading out his arms and accepting his fate. He then disappeared into the black mist and just like that, the Phantom Menace was gone.
Ahsoka and M'gann both smiled to each other, grateful for their victory as they chuckled. M'gann then started to close her eyes and fall, the strain on her body from the stab now reaching its limit. Ahsoka gasped at this and grabbed M'gann before she could hit the ground. "Not on my watch." Ahsoka exclaimed to M'gann. With that, she hovered her arm over the Martian's chest, starting to heal the wound. Slowly, M'gann could feel her strength returning to her body. After a short while, M'gann's eyes opened up, and she looked to Ahsoka with a smile on her face. "I'm alive." She said happily. Ahsoka smiled to M'gann before slapping her in the face again. "Ouch." M'gann said dryly. She felt her cheek while getting up. "I might have deserved that one." She chuckled. Ahsoka and M'gann both chuckled and then hugged each other once more.
Mount Justice November 1st 1613 Hours EDT
The next day, Ahsoka helped to rebuild the damage done on the school. After all, it was partly her fault for letting Maul damage it. Everyone was grateful, and the school promised to keep Ahsoka's identity a secret from prying eyes of the public.
At Mount Justice, after helping to rebuild the school, the whole Team was in the Mission Room, all members present as Ahsoka presented to Batman the footage of her and M'gann's battle with Darth Maul. The Dark Knight looked over the footage carefully before looking back to the Team. "And his neutral alignment?" He asked with concern.
"Maul attacked both the ORDER and the Light." M'gann, with some gauze wrapped around her abdomen from the fight, replied. Ahsoka nodded in agreement and spoke up next. "If Maul feigned any malice in the encounter, our enemies would have known." The Togrutan added on. "Barriss had never told the ORDER if her past, and Klarion never knew anything about Maul whatsoever."
"Then that settles it." Batman said, ending the recording of the footage. Connor walked up to comfort M'gann after her near-death experience as Bruce went on. "We may be looking at a new potential third party." The Dark Knight added on.
"Not likely, since it was only me Maul wanted, no one else." Ahsoka stated. Everyone looked to her as she went on. "And he had no theft, crime or hits on anyone." Ahsoka reminded everyone. "The Sith don't play around with criminals. They're resistant and mean business."
"If the Sith do make another move, then we'll have to be ready." Aqualad stated sternly. Batman nodded and walked towards the Zeta Tube. Recognized, Batman, 02. The AI announced before the Team all walked off.
Ahsoka started to make her way to her room when Maul's last words entered her mind. "You can't win against your own darkness." She remembered him saying. Ahsoka placed her hand to her heart and heard it beat. "My own Dark Side, huh?" She asked herself. Keeping those words in mind, the Togrutan silently entered her room.

Count Dooku looked over the current and growing surveillance that his Battle Droids on Earth were sending. He could see many battles that Ahsoka and her new friends were winning with much interest running through his head. "Padawan, you are starting to gain my attention more and more as the days pass." He said to himself before leaving.
Dooku then walked over to his Chambers and went into a kneeling position. His Master, Darth Sidious, appeared in a hologram before him. "What is the progress, my Apprentice?" Sidious asked with a scowl from under his hood.
"Our forces on Earth are beginning to retrieve more data as we speak, my Master." Tyranus reported grimly.
Sidious said nothing after hearing this, but his hidden approbation could be seen by his Apprentice. Dooku looked up to his Master with concern as Sidious turned around with silence. "Forgive me for asking, but is something wrong, Lord Sidious?" Dooku asked.
"There is a great disturbance in the Force." Sidious explained as he turned back around. Dooku sighed deeply as he kept his head down. "I have felt this for quite some time now." The Apprentice replied back. Sidious looked down to Dooku and narrowed his eyes. "There is something monstrous about to come, and I fear that not even our combined strength will be enough to stop it." Sidious then ended the transmission, thinking of his former Apprentice, Darth Maul, walking out of flames with a hooded figure at his side.
Back on Earth, Ahsoka meditated in her room. Out in front of her were her two lightsabers. After her battle with Maul, Ahsoka felt that it was time she stepped up on her game. After hours of meditation into the evening, her blue lightsaber and her green lightsaber merged together. Ahsoka then opened her eyes as she grabbed her newly formed double-bladed lightsaber hilt. She activated it, seeing a blue blade on one side and a green blade on the other. "This is my weapon." She said to herself with deep satisfaction.
Just then, there was a knock on Ahsoka's door. "Enter." Ahsoka simply said as she deactivated her new weapon and sheathed it onto her belt. M'gann then came in, holding some metal parts and a crystal in her hands. Ahsoka looked to her and smiled, but M'gann had a nervous look on her face. "I'm sorry once again for going up against Maul like that." The Martian stated.
Ahsoka smiled and shook her head. "You're reckless, M'gann, and that's what helped you win the fight." The Togrutan stated.
M'gann smiled and then got onto the floor in a meditative position, placing out the metal parts she had on her hand onto the ground. "Can you guide me?" she asked. Ahsoka smiled and nodded. "Anything for a friend." Ahsoka replied back. The two smiled before getting to work.
Author's Note: Well, everyone, what did you think? This was about the most intense chapter I have written ever since Chapter 31 of Path of the Padawan. I hope that you all liked the hard work I put into this. I especially hope that Guest 2 liked the new chapter as well. As my final chapter request, I did the best I could do to make this count.
