Chapter 7

CLARY POV
I just stood there in shock, I didn't know why but I couldn't move. I hear Tessa congratulating me and then I realized that I am pregnant with Jace's baby. "I'm pregnant with Jace's baby." that's what I said. A smile broke on my face and I began jumping with excitement, this is until I realize that I live in Miami and Jace is in New York.

"I need to call Jace."

**Clary and Jace on the phone**

Ring, ring , ring

J: Hey Baby.
C: Hey..
J: What's wrong?
C: When are you coming down here?
J: Not for a few weeks, why? If there's something wrong I'll catch the next plane down to Miami.
C:Nothing's wrong babe, I just need to tell you something.
J: Well..I know. I can hear it in your voice. Tell me what it is.
C: I just need to see you.
J: I'll come down this weekend. It's Thursday so.. wait can it wait till the weekend?
C:umm.. yeah sure.
J: Clary why are you sounding like you are crying?
C: It's happy tears don't worry about it.
J: Babe you do realize that I will be there as soon as I can right? I have to work.
C: Yeah.., I know. It's just that I love you so much and I feel like this distance is.. argh.
*clary drops the phone*
J: Helloo.. Clary.. Baby.. Babe?

Tessa POV
I see Clary drop the phone and I panic. What happened I ask her? It's just I just felt something like pushing in my stomach. "OMG!". Clary your pants are red.
"Hello 911, what's your emergency? " the lady asks. "My friend just found out she's pregnant and now she's bleeding from down there and she felt something in her stomach." I say. Well tell her not to move. An ambulance is on its way she says. I gave her our address and rush to Clary and tell her that the ambulance is on its way and that she doesn't have to move much just stay still.

Clary POV
I hear Tessa telling me that I don't have to move, so I just lay there on the floor crying because I don't know what the hell is going on. I don't know how long I have been crying but the ambulance arrived and they are putting me in the ambulance. I am on my way to the hospital right now and I tell Tessa, who is with me in the ambulance, to grab my phone and call Jace to tell him I'm on my way to the hospital and ask if he can be there tomorrow. Tessa does what I say and I hear her say "Damn you, you don't have to yell in my ear!".

*THE NEXT MORNING*

Clary has been laying since they gave her the sleeping pill. They have worked on her and saved the baby. It's official now Clary is pregnant. Tessa went to the airport to pick up Jace who took the 5am plane from New York to Miami. Jocelyn lay beside her daughter in another bed in the same room just staring at her sleeping daughter. When Tessa came back with Jace.

Jace ran to her side and took her hand. He hasn't moved from there since he got here and it has been three days since she has been sleeping.

Clary POV
I feel someone far away telling me to wake up. All I can see is white. Not so far away, more like a mile or something I see something gold shining. I walk to it and see that it's an golden angel and I walk towards it. He looks exactly like Jace and I can't help but smile. The golden angel tells me that I have to options; one: go back and have a family with Jace or two: quit and kill myself and my baby and leave Jace all alone.
