Another long chappie for you guys. :) I hope I can keep updating as frequent as this because this is one of my favorite stories I've written as of late! enjoy!

I don't own the PPGS

just the storyline.

1853

Dawn once again arose over the great circus, for this was their last night and day in this town. Brick approached the ice covered tent to find that the number of sculptures had doubled overnight. Blossom was stepping up her magic; Brick had already figured she would after she stormed out of the tent last night. What was he supposed to say? All he wanted was her friendship even if she was his enemy.

1845

"Brick burn the damn animal." Jojo said standing on the other side of the small room

"But I just can't Mr. jojo! I've never hurt an animal with my curse before and I don't want too!" a young

ten year old Brick said with his small cap and red overall's.

"It's not a curse Brick; it is a wonderful power to be held, important to defeat your enemy in the future. If you cannot burn this small rodent how are you supposed to take down your enemy?!"

"It's innocent and little." Brick said pointing at the small mouse in a cage

"Your opponent may one day be just like that mouse, innocent and little what if it's a girl hmmm? You must defeat whoever it is at all costs before they defeat you. I shall return in five hours I expect this mouse to have a burn on it by then." Mr. Jojo left the room and locked the door so Brick was trapped alone with the mouse.

1853

Blossom arose from her trailer and grabbed her red cloak and began to walk towards the other tents. She noticed a tent that she hadn't before, a tent that had flames coming out of it. She knew immediately that Brick had woken up before her and began to produce something. She went inside and found herself immersed in fire. She could feel its heat radiating on her skin, but she felt no pain. She reached out her hand and felt the warmth on her hand. All around her there was dragons flying and there were small figurines of fire dancing with each other. She walked over to them and watched them perform the same dance around each other. Blossom smiled and exited the tent; maybe her father was wrong about her opponent. Brick wasn't all that bad. She sighed and continued to the main gates of the circus savoring the last time she would ever see the green fields in front of her.

"Blossom?" Came a small voice from behind her it was Bubbles who had brought along the tight rope walker Boomer.

"Oh why hello Bubbles. Boomer." Blossom said as she turned around to face her

"Buttercup gave butch a black eye and we were wondering if uhm, we could borrow some ice?" Bubbles giggled

"He can be such an ignorant fool sometimes." Boomer muttered under his breath

Blossom laughed and said "Well where there's a circus there is bound to be a fool somewhere." She created a ball of ice using her breath and gave it to bubbles who took it in her hands and skipped away holding Boomer's hand.

Blossom walked around but could find no sign of Brick anywhere. She came around the corner and saw her father talking to lady Sedusa who was with a couple of the contortionists. "Father." Blossom said as she approached him. The professor turned away from Lady Sedusa to see Blossom walking up to him.

"Ah my lovely daughter, if you'll excuse me ladies." The Professor left them and continued to walk with Blossom.

"I take it you've found your opponent." The Professor said raising him eyebrows at his daughter

"Of course father, the battle should easily be won. What must I do to win I must ask?" Blossom said fearing the worst.

"Oh nothing really my daughter, at the final city we shall put both of you in the ring together to see who can perform the best. All of this is just practice really."

"So no one will die father?"

"I didn't say that my dearest, with magic as strong as yours and his I'm afraid anything can happen when fire and ice collide." He looked towards the ground rubbing his chin

"Although this is a rare outcome. It can happen, so I suggest you practice well before we reach our final destination in five months."

Five months, that's all Blossom had to prepare for the most important performance she ever had.

Blossom looked sadly at the ground, she never wanted to actually hurt anyone much less Brick.

"What's wrong my daughter?"

"It's just that… I could never hurt someone father. It's inhumane." Blossom looked sadly at the ground as she continued to walk

"Oh please don't tell me you've got feelings for that boy."

Blossom looked up at him with fear in her eyes.

"Blossom that is strictly forbidden, my daughter shall not fall in love with an enemy, much less the son of MY enemy."

"But father! He's not a bad person; he's trapped in this predestined web along with me! If it were up to me I would not have taken this damned necklace and made a vow to do this!"

"Well then it is quite sad it wasn't up to you, but now it's far too late to back out. You will win this Blossom no matter what. I want you to be practicing. This is the last time you'll see me in five months so I suggest you practice hard."

Blossom looked at her father with tears in her eyes "You're a terrible father! You always have been and always will be! You'll never love me as much as mother did! She would never force me to do such a thing!"

"I'll be back in five months." The Professor said putting on his hat and walking toward the front of the circus

Blossom didn't even dare look back at him. She was frustrated and quite frankly tried of her father controlling her life. It was time for her to change, from here on out she would control this circus her own way.

1847

"Father! My friends are going to the fields today! May I go with them?" Fourteen year old Blossom jumped as she saw the boy Dexter outside her window with her friends from the neighborhood.

"Not now, you're practicing. " The professor said looking over a book

"But father I've been practicing for days! And I do it all the time. Can I please go outside?"

"No Blossom. Plus that boy Dexter, you're not allowed to speak to him again understood?"

"but why..?" Blossom said with tears in her eyes

"You are not to infatuate yourself with him he is bad news and you simply don't have time for love."

1853

"No! No more! I shall choose my own path!" Blossom said as she ran back into her trailer, tonight she would tell Brick of her decision. They shall accomplish this battle together.

The night came quickly and Blossom was preparing herself for her final performance in this small town.

Her outfit consisted of two layers a small pink corset that held a small skirt there, and a long sleeved white jacket which had golden tassels at her shoulders. She wore her hair in a braid along with the red bow that held it together. She covered her face in a white mask and began to walk to the big top tent.

"And now! For our final act the marvelous masked princess!" Ace said as he introduced Blossom, she hated her stage name but it would have to do for now.

When she came to the center of the ring smoke arose all around her as she created a horse that moved out of ice. It was the same size and an actual horse and she mounted on top of it. She balanced herself on it and rode it creating other marvelous creatures out of ice. Soon there were penguins running around the ring, butterflies flying into the crowds, and an ice unicorn that appeared. Blossom came up and stroked its icy mane as it ran alongside the horse. Soon she was rising up on ice bricks she brought and towered up to the tightrope. She created ice birds which perched themselves gracefully on the tightrope. She created a ladder that brought her down. As she landed on the ground everything around her melted causing a laugh from the audience, she created the unicron again and rode it out to the center of the stage. "Thank you! It's been quite a pleasure being in your wonderful town!" She yelled as she threw real roses at the crowd.

As she bowed to their applause she exited the ring and went around back to watch the people leave. She looked for any signs of Brick but couldn't find him in the crowds until she saw him with a girl.

"Brick!" She yelled as she saw him he turned and faced her

"Well hello Blossom, you performed wonderfully tonight. I can't wait to outperform you." He smirked

"Look…What I said last time we talked I… I came to say that I'm sorry and I would really much like to go on another lunch or dinner date with you." Blossom smiled

Just then the girl he was standing next to turned around and faced them.

"Oh Brick who's this! I didn't know you had a girl." Brick laughed and turned to the girl

"She's not my girl Erica, she's just a friend."

"Blossom this is Erica, she's the new fortune teller and palm reader. Erica this is Blossom the prima donna of the circus."

"oh! Well it's wonderful to meet you! I look forward to accompanying you on this tour." Erica smiled and moved closer to Brick

"Same…" Blossom said with a scowl she noticed the girl has dark brown hair and beautiful hazel eyes, she was about Blossom height and wore a tan dress.

"Well I should be heading to my trailer to pack, goodnight Brick." She said as she turned around and left Blossom and Brick standing alone in the corner of the circus.

"Look Blossom I realize now that I can't possibly be close to an enemy, but we can remain the acquaintances we are. Erica is here now and she's much more interested than you. I accept your apology but I don't think there's a chance of more fields and cafes at any of our next stops." He shrugged and leaned on the pole behind him

"Then so be it." Blossom held her head high and turned and started to walk away but no one could see the icy tears coming from her pink eyes, in the dark lonely night at the red circus.
