Quinton ran down the alleyway. He could hear the gunman Donald Stetten firing at his fellow officer James Moor. James had come under fire after responding to a report of gunshots fired in the glades. James had radioed for help and Quinton was the closes to James's position so he had been the one to come to James's add. Suddenly the gunman appeared in front of Quinton. He aimed his gun at Quinton and before Quinton could react he felt the burning sensation of a bullet hitting him in the chest. There was the sound of another gunshot and Quinton knew no more.

Laurel Lance sat on her couch with a Kleenex in her hand as she cried. A police officer had just told her that her father had been killed just after 11:17 p.m. as he was coming to the aid of a fellow Officer. He had died a hero but that didn't make Laurel grieve any less.

Not all heroes wear capes

Not all heroes wear masks

Not all heroes can run super fast

Not all heroes can fly

Not all heroes beat the bad guy

And not all heroes get to go home.
