Chapter 1: Skull

The Young Dracula characters from 2008 and 2014 have all had the opportunity to speak to their other self's though some of them didn't realise it and some did. But ether way none or our characters had ever talked about it to the other family members. Even the four breathers, Robin, Chloe, Jonno and Renfield kept it quite from each other. The whole thing was too weird and felt rather personal to them.

Though she never said anything Ingrid suspected that the Count had been though the mirror too with how he went on about imposters pretending to be him, either that or he had watched Hotel Transylvania, Ingrid went for the first guess.

Ingrid was the first to enter the mirror, both Ingrid's from each timeline started to notice strange things happening to their family. Some would randomly disappear for a few moments and come back ether confused or a changed person or as in the Counts case more annoying than before...

Thinking this over the future Ingrid decided after almost a year of annoying disappearances it was time to investigate the mirror properly. She considered asking Vlad about it but he was probably too busy with his re-vamp class and doing Chosen One stuff to bother with his sisters worries, Ingrid wasn't even sure if Vlad had been to the mirror or not.

The future Ingrid went to the Mirror room, it had not changed the time she saw it. The monsters standing side my side of the mirror like statues even though the whole family knew full well that they moved. Ingrid strolled towards one of the stone guards with her hands on her hips and a smirk across her face.

"You're not really all that scary are you?" She said looking at the stone creature in the eyes "who are you, hey?" she asked "you weren't here when we lived in Stokely castle were you? So where did you two come from?"

The two stone guards stood unmoving not that Ingrid expected anymore from them.

"Pathetic" She snorted and was about to turn away when she felt an invisible vibration run though her, it made a high pitch noise, not so high that it hurt her ears but high enough then it stopped and she heard a voice going on upstairs

Oh great. She thought and zoomed off to the main room just about nearly bumping into Vlad. She would usually tell Vlad to watch outwhere he was going if Vlad hadn't spoken first

"Did you feel that?" He asked, Ingrid nodded they both opened the door and saw Wolfie cowering under the table he ran to his older siblings and as soon as he saw her he was hugging one of Ingrid's legs. The Count was demanding answers from Renfield

"Where did that vibration come from?" The Count asked Renfield (or more like demanded).

"I don't know master," Renfield quivered, as the Count took him by the collar

"Then why are you not searching?!"

"Because you have hold of collar master" Renfield said still quivering, not really realising he probably just made the Count even angrier.

"I believe it was something to do with the mirror." Ingrid said before the Count got too violent to see reason

"How would you know?" Vlad asked in suspicion, Wolfie got off her leg and while the Count looked at her in curiously, this made Ingrid frustrated.

"I was there in the mirror room when it happened and we all know how powerful that mirror is…"

"Wait what where you doing in the mirror room?" The count interrupted "Why weren't you polishing your nails like all women do."

"That's beside the point," Vlad sighed in frustration, he was not in the mood for his fathers and sister quarrelling. "Let's go and investigate the mirror."

"Go on then," The Count slumped on his throne picking up a random two week old newspaper from the floor and held it upside down.

The two older Dracula's, Vlad and Ingrid rolled their eyes not surprised by their father laziness and with Wolfie and Renfield they went to investigate the mirror room.

Meanwhile nothing was much different in 2008, the same thing happened to them too and even as kids, even when Renfield had boils on his face ,the young Vlad, Ingrid and Renfield went to the mirror room and they saw nothing out of place.

"Perhaps we're not looking hard enough." The young Vlad suggested.

"Should I do some forensic science Master Vlad?" suggested Renfield "Maybe my detective work will help us find some clues."

"The only forensic science you know Renfield is a chance on a lucky wheel" Said Ingrid "Maybe that little guy can tell us." She pointed to the skull that rested on the old blood mirror.

"Haha Ingrid" said Vlad with sarcasm.

"I mean it," said Ingrid as she picked up a random stone from the ground and threw it at the skull which had no effect.

"Ingrid!" cried Vlad "Are you mad? What if you crack the blood mirror?"

But Ingrid wasn't listening she picked up a bigger stone and threw it harder than the last one; it hit the skull full on. This time the mirror shook Renfield being the good servant he is grabbed the mirror before it could tumble to the floor but the skull wasn't so lucky. It fell off the mirror but before it could hit the ground Vlad caught it with both hands and gave Ingrid an annoyed look.

"Why did you do that?!" he snapped "All this fuss over a skull, you could have broken the mirror and killed dad, you could have….."

"Oh stop whinging" Ingrid snorted and snatched the skull from Vlad's hands, the moment she touched it the eyes of the skull grew a bright creepy red.

"Ingrid what did you do" Vlad asked, Ingrid hastily put the skull on the ground and the trio stepped back.

Suddenly the whole skull turned a red that brightened the whole room, a blood red glow and shot out towards Renfield and the two Dracula children. Meanwhile the Count was sitting in his throne room checking the prices of coffins when the red light came towards him. He didn't look up until the red light was right in front of his face.

By the time Robin and Chloe got to the castle, all of the Dracula's were gone.

Meanwhile in 2014 the same red light flowed out of the blood mirror consuming Renfield, Wolfie and the three Draculas. Robin and Chloe called Jonno as soon as they discovered that the Dracula family were missing!

"Maybe they're out on a meeting or something," suggested Jonno.

"And take Renfield and Wolfie with them?" Chloe said thoughtfully, usually if the Dracula's were out they would leave Renfield to look after the place with Wolfie.

Jonno just shrugged unable to find an answer, they had look all over the school and Dracula Headquarters including the mirror room but there was still no sign of life or unlife.

"They didn't even leave a note," sighed Robin, "but I get the feeling something bad has happened."

"How come?" Jonno asked.

"Well first off the car and motorbike are still there and it's still day light outside so they couldn't have gone out"

"That's true," said Chloe "But they could have gone out last night and still haven't come back."

"Yeah, but Vlad had revamp class that night, and he also left his phone here and Ingrid never goes out without her purse."

"I see what you mean Robin" said Jonno "I do feel something bad happened here."

"So what can we do?" asked Chloe.

"I could contact the guide and vampire counsel," Jonno suggested, "but I've got the feeling they will only make the situation worse."

"Let's think," Chloe started "what is the most powerful place in the school"

They thought…

"The mirror room" They all shot.

"But what about those monster things that guard the mirror?" asked Jonno who had not wanted to go in that room since that incident with the mirror.

"What about them?" said Chloe "they just stand there most of the time" said Chloe, the monsters didn't even have to get Chloe into the mirror she went willingly and didn't understand how powerful those creatures were.

"Maybe they could help us?" asked Robin hopefully, even though the creatures dragged Robin into the mirror and he was afraid of them, but he wouldn't mind going into the mirror again.

"It's the only lead we have," said Chloe as they made their way to the mirror room where they were in for a surprise.

Back in 2008 Chloe and Robin went to explore the castle further by going inside the mirror room not realising a dark figure had been following them since they left their house. Jonno VanHellsing back then had been a slayer in training and since that time in the Dracula Blood Mirror he was willing to work harder than ever to become a good slayer.

He had followed the two Branaghs all way to Dracula Castle and it seemed that the family were missing, either that was a good thing or a bad thing Jonno wasn't sure, he stayed a good distance away from the Branagh siblings but was close enough it observe what was going on.

Oh-uh they are going towards the mirror room, that was the last place Jonno wanted to go but he followed anyway not wanting to think of himself a coward!

The Branagh siblings reached the mirror room, using his super slaying techniques slowly crept closer to the door of the mirror room that the siblings left ajar. Jonno peered through the crack, he saw Robin and Chloe searching the room for any clues as to where the Dracula's had gone.

"This mirror gives me the creeps" said Chloe look apprehensively at the mirror.

"Hey, shouldn't this be on top of the mirror?" Robin picked up the skull that wasn't glowing anymore, it just looked … dead.

"I know," said Chloe, "I hope it's just decoration and nothing important that could kill the whole family."

Robin gulped at those words, looking at the skull curiously.

"Maybe we should try putting it back on," said Robin, but didn't know how he was going to get it up on top of that tall mirror.

"It's too high," commented Chloe, "just put it next to the mirror so they are touching, it shouldn't make much difference."

Robin put the skull in front of the mirror so they were touching but to Jonno's and the Branagh siblings surprise the skull glowed red all over, the Branaghs stepped back but it was no use the red light shot itself at Robin, Chloe and Jonno before they could run…

It's a little late but just a little intro to the sequel of The Future Meats the Past if I get enough reviews, follows and fav's I will continue it!
