Adventure's Though Time

Chapter2: Let the Game Commence

Day 1 Part 1

The young Ingrid Dracula woke up with a start she found herself in a dimly lit and eerie room she franticly took in her surroundings, she found herself alone in a large ballroom sized room there was no furniture in sight, no door, no windows only a lone figure lying on the ground some way off.

Ingrid unsteadily picked herself up on her feet swaying a little as she did so. Once steady she slowly made her way towards the figure her high heels clicking on the stone floor was the only noise.

"Hello," she called over to the figure, it stirred a bit but didn't get up, as Ingrid got closer she saw the shape of a young man, her paced quickened until she was standing next to the body. He was very pale almost white, his jet black hair was hanging over his still closed eyes and he was wearing a black leather jacket and dark jeans. Ingrid checked his pulse on his wrist, it wasn't beating but the young man moved his wrist suddenly making Ingrid jump. 'He must be a vampire,' thought Ingrid as she shook his shoulder as an attempt to wake him up.

The young vampire moved his head a little and opened his eyes to stare into Ingrid's; Ingrid swore that if the vampire had a beating heart he would have had a heart attack. He was suddenly wide awake and quickly leaned back from Ingrid wide eyed, Ingrid noticed there was something familiar about this vampire but she couldn't tell what. It might help if would stop staring at her as if she was some strange creature from a zoo.

"Ingrid?" the vampire asked, his voice sounded familiar and the way he said her name, but she still couldn't put her finger on it. The question she really wanted to know is how he knew her name in the first place?

"Who are you?" She asked not giving the vampire an answer. He opened his mouth but before the words could come out a flash of blue light on the other side of the room caught their eyes and then disappeared. The vampire quickly got to his feet using human speed he lightly jogged to where the light was and picked up something from the ground. Ingrid headed towards where the vampire was and saw he was reading some kind of parchment, he must have finished because he wordlessly handed the parchment for Ingrid it read.

Welcome, to the heart of the Blood Mirror where every corridor and every room you enter will either find a way out or find yourself imprisoned here forever.

"Well that's friendly," Ingrid commented and carried on reading.

You have all been put into random pairs one will be from the past one will be from the future, you must work together working yourselves though the mirror until you find your past or future self, only then you can go home, but it's not that easy the Mirror is huge there are hundreds of rooms and corridors to choose from and you only have a week or you're trapped here forever.

You're sincerely

?

Ingrid glared at the letter in disgust and turned back to the vampire before her "Is this some kind of joke?!" Ingrid snapped clenching the paper in her fist "Are you in to this too?!"

"Seriously Ingrid I know no more than you do!" the vampire said keeping his voice calm as he spoke compared to Ingrid's shouts.

"Who are you anyway?" Ingrid continued "Are you from the future then and how do you know my name?"

"Yes I am," the vampire took a step towards Ingrid, the vampire was only an inch or two taller than Ingrid but he had this aura about him that made him seem tall, Ingrid for that moment felt as if she was in the presence of a very powerful vampire. The vampire smiled down at Ingrid but it wasn't friendly and it wasn't a smirk ether it more like a smile of satisfaction as if he had won some kind of game, he spoke,

"My name is Vladimir Dracula, I am seventeen years old and it looks like now I'm the older sibling."

"I can't believe it" The future Count Dracula sighed in despair, "and just when I thought that unlife gave up on trying to destroy me, I get this!" He threw the letter he had received the same time as his children did, in fact every pairing got the letter at the same time, and said exactly the same thing. But at the moment let's focus on the future Count and see who his time partner is.

"No one will hurt my master!" said a groggy and high voice belonging to the uglier 2008 version of Renfield.

"Oh shut up you," the Count growled getting up from the crouching position he was in before and turned to Renfield "You are no better that a dead cat still under the car, I can barely put up with one Renfield never mind two, we either have to find the future Renfield or my Past self or we will never get home and I will be stuck with two Renfield's forever!"

"Oh master you love me really."

The Count glared at him

"Deep down in that stone cold heart of yours you love me."

The Count put his head in his hands in despair.

The future Ingrid just finished reading the letter and threw it in some random direction in outrage, can't she have quiet unlife, nope she can't, her unlife will always be threatened and she will always have breathers/vampires who are more crazy than her in her way, no rest for the wicked..

"Oh well Ingrid, if we lose at least we have each other." She turned to the voice that belonged to a young teenager with black hair and gothic clothes, that's right the future Ingrid had been paired up with the past Robin Branner. The thing is when Robin came back into the Dracula's unlives last year he seemed to have gotten over his little crush on Ingrid, so the future Ingrid was surprised to see this little thirteen year old practically worshiping her, but seriously if Ingrid was ever going to make it back home they might have to work together.

"So what do we do now Ingrid?" The past Robin asked.

"Well we find a way out this room," The future Ingrid said looking around the dungeon like room she was kept in. She had tried every floor tile and brick but there was no way out there wasn't even a door or window the only light was from a gas lamp that sat in the middle of the floor.

"We haven't tried shouting for help yet," Robin suggested.

"Ok, if you want to make yourself look like an idiot go ahead I'll just stand here and see if it does any good," Ingrid said smugly leaning against the stone wall not really believing he would do it so she wasn't prepared when Robin suddenly screamed .

"HELP! HELP! GET ME OUT OF HERE," Robin screamed in this high pitched voice making Ingrid highly developed vampire ears bleed "I'M TRAPPED WITH A VAMPIRE!"

"AND I'M TRAPPED WITH A LUNATIC!" Ingrid boomed cutting Robin off. The two didn't understand what happened next maybe the shouting had worked or maybe it was just luck but what happened was that a trapped door suddenly appeared where the gas lamp sat like it had been there all this time. Robin and Ingrid stared at it in shock, it was Robin who made the first move to carefully lift the gas lamp out of the way and opened the trap door.

He and Ingrid looked down there was no light, no sign of a bottom it looked as if it was just a hole of never ending darkness.

"Awesome," Robin and Ingrid said together (both liking black of course).

"How do we get down though?" Robin asked, Ingrid's smirk widened, she quickly took Robin by his collar and dragged him head first into the dark abys, she could hear his screams getting fainter and fainter. With a satisfied grin Ingrid pushed hair back and jumped into the darkness…

So sorry for the long wait I've had a writer's block but I'm better now by looks at recent reviews and I would like to thank you and keep them coming in, even one sentence brightens up my day ;)

By the way the fanfic is unrelated to Young Dracula season 5.
