Hi! After the long and nerve-racking wait, we finally have an answer to our climax, supplied by the lovely Aceidia!

But before that, I'd just like to get a few things out of the way.

In answer to the review left by the guest El Frijolero, I thought I had gotten over my obstacle too. But then writer's block came back (along with school.)

So! Here are some reasons I was unable to write anything.

1. I spent Christmas break writing a fanfiction called 'The Twelve Days of Christmas: A FrUK fanfiction' where I would write and post a chapter each day(meaning before midnight). That kind of sapped the life out of me.

2. I spent most of January either doing my homework, or talking to my friend at school, over the phone, and on Skype. This was because she was moving out of state at the end of January and I wanted to spend as much time as possible with her.

3. But what about weekends? THOSE were spent with OTHER friends. I don't know what it was about January, but I hung out with a lot of people over the weekends.

4. Procrastination. Okay, this isn't a real reason, but my philosophy is that if I put something off long enough, then it will just write itself. It's...um...a flawed philosophy, to say the least.

5. Laziness. I'm just a naturally lazy person when it comes to writing fanfiction. Yeah, I'm a flawed person, to say the least.

6. Writer's block. It was a like a f*cking wall of steel-enforced concrete when I tried to think of ideas.

So there were some reasons*cough*EXCUSES*cough* I couldn't write.

ON TO THE CHAPTER!

Ishida stared at the 'Mystery Man' in shock.

"What…the…" the Quincy began, not sure what to say or do as he had the urge to run away. Far, far away to somewhere that he could hide on some distant planet. But his body overrode his mind and he extended his hand. "Sir. I am delighted you made it."

Mayuri stared down at the young man's hand and frowned. "Up yours."

"Father!" Nemu scolded, her hand nearly leaving marks in Ishida's shoulder where it was resting. I hope he isn't going to hit me… please, don't let him hit me… "Be…nice to Uryu."

"I don't have to." Mayuri made a rude gesture, only to add, "Never do that to my daughter."

Ishida wasn't sure what to say. They were getting married…

"Um, sir." Ishida paused to calm the nervous butterflies in his stomach. "I don't wish to have you upset, but you…I don't want to you ever hurt Nemu again. She may be your creation you made with your own loving hands, but I can assure you that-"

"I wasn't going hit her." Mayuri took a step back and smiled widely. "I was going to hit you."

"What-" A hand connected with Ishida's face, sending him and Nemu to the floor.

"Dirty Quincey scum!" the scientist screamed, kicking the groom in the gut. "You don't deserve her! I made her and I will unmake her the moment you breathe your last breath! I hate you! I hate you for taking her love for me away! She… she loves you more and those scars…those scars!"

"But some scars will always be there…"

"Of course they will, Kenpachi." Mayuri stated, glancing up at the scary captain who was serving as the bouncer at the wedding chapel. "You are evidence to that statement."

Kenpachi glanced down and shrugged. "Yeah, so?"

"Now will you let me in?" the scientist hated to beg, but he had a wedding to stop and scarface here was a little too smart for his own good. Granted, who could ever miss a blue-haired man with a voice higher then some women walking into a wedding chapel?

Kenpachi crossed his strong arms and frowned. "Why should I? The Bride doesn't want you here. Besides, she tried to give you an invitation and you refused."

"Of course I did!" Mayuri cried, throwing his hands into the air. "What father wants to come to his daughter's rebellious wedding? Let alone approve?! I do not approve as that stupid Quincy doesn't deserve such a wonderful creation!"

"And…" Kenpachi hated to ask, but did so anyway. "Who does?"

"A nice Soul Reaper who treats her like the princess she is."

"Okay, and did you see the smile on her face recently? I think that Ishida is a-"

"No, no, no!" Mayuri screamed, trying his best to move past the 'bouncer', but was un-successful. "She can't love him!"

"And why is that?" Kenpachi picked up the nervous father by the back of collar and lifted him off the ground so they were face to face. "Explain, please."

Mayuri frowned. He hated being man-handled. It wasn't his fault he was a few inches shorter than the other captains, save the ice kid. "Kenpachi… Nemu… love… it… it goes against her programing and - damn it! She isn't supposed to love anyone or anything! I made her and if she loves someone, it is all my fault! I am a failure as a scientist and a father! Kenpachi. You know kids and dads, right? You watch daily life in Soul Society! You know how a father feels about marriage of their children?!"

"Uh…yeah…Kinda? So?"

"I made Nemu so I wouldn't have to deal with the heartbreak!" Mayuri cried, just wanting to be put back down on the ground. "Sure, some of her other traits weren't meant to be there, so I beat them out of her and they are gone! But, I…I don't want her to marry… please, understand."

"Nah…" the Eleventh Captain shook his head. "I won't. You don't want your daughter to be happy. I hate to say this, but you kinda suck ass at this whole, 'father' thing. Isn't it a father's dream to have their child happy as hell? I kinda wanna smack you across the face for treating your daughter like an experiment and beating her up. But it isn't my place. You just have to live with the consequences… and yeah, Mayuri. I see where your heart is, but where the hell is your head?! Did you take it off again?"

"No." the Twelfth Company Captain replied. "Not recently. But what am I to do?!"

"Nothin' now. Nemu told me not to let you in."

"But why?!"

"Well…" Kenpachi yawned. This was going to be a long, long list. "1. You beat her up. 2. You hate her hubby to be. 3. You want to chop up hubby to be. 4. You didn't want to be invited in the first place. 5. Something else I forgot. Anyhow, why don't you go back to your lab and look at baby pics?"

"No! I don't have any! I made her as a full grown woman!"

"And full grown women get married. Yeah?"

Mayuri sighed and closed his eyes. Damn it… damn it… I brought this on myself didn't I? Why was I such a fool?! I should have never given Nemu a true heart… one of which, she will never have a place for me within….

And nor will it have a place for him either…damn Quincy…. Die! Breathe your last breath you-

Hands wrapped themselves around his waist and a familiar weight leaned on his shoulder.

"I am sorry…" She whispered in his ear. "I am sorry, Father."

Mayuri froze as Nemu began to silently weep on his shoulder.

"I…I am sorry. I do not wish to forget you." she cried, her hands gripping the dark cloth of his suit. "I never wish to push you away…you did so yourself and I…still fear you. But I… I love you."

So, for once…Mayuri opened his eyes and found himself staring down at Ishida who was laying on the wooden floor of the wedding chapel, covered in his own blood. My calculations may be a bit off.

He frowned at Ishida, not wanting to show his true feelings to the countless eyes peering into his soul. "Nemu."

"Yes, Father?" She replied, her voice still a whisper he could only hear.

"I…I am sorry."
