Hi Guys! Well, I really suck at promises it's been a while since my last chapter post
and I said it will be earlier blah blah blah... Yep, summer's keeping me from writing because it's so
damn hot here... Well hey, at least the chapter's up... so... yeah... bty, "Pokémon talking" "Human talking"

Chapter 25: Can someone please tell me what's going on!

[Nathan's POV]

"Hey Nathan." "Yes Swampert?" I asked. "What if you don't win..." I wasn't all that bothered on what she said because I really didn't aim on winning. "I'm only doing this for the fun of it." I said. At least do your best." "Don't worry I will." I reassured. "I don't like battling much, I just want to travel in different places, that's why I came along with Pullen and Matthew, Pullen is the competitive one you know." I added.

[Pullen's POV]

"We're going to win this!" I said. "Are you sure you're going to win?" "Of course Blaziken, If we don't win we won't be able to battle the champion." I replied. "Plus, Nathan told me that he doesn't actually want to be the champion because it's boring, so either way, he loses or he forfeits." I added. "Well you better make sure."
"Don't worry Blaze, I'm going to win this no matter what." I declared. "And maybe after the fight we could have a little 'fun'."

[Nathan's POV]

"Hey Swamp, how 'bout after the battle, maybe you and me could have a little 'private time'" I said. "I like where this is going, so maybe you should finish the fight as fast as you can." As me and Swampert had a little chat, we heard the announcer making an announcement, obviously. 'Attention everybody, the continuation of the fight will resume in five minutes, thank you.' "Well looks like we have to get prepared, again."
"Hey Nathan, you sure about the new guy?" "Well Swampert, I'm not actually sure, she doesn't look all that competitive, and for your information, it's a she." I said. "Yeah yeah, whatever. Just make sure 'she' doesn't humiliate you." "And why would she do that?" "I don't know, just go out there and kick some butt!"

[Pullen's POV]

"Five minutes ey, so it's resuming. Better get ready." "Promise me you're going to win?" "Blaziken, I told you already, I'm going to win this okay?" I had to tell her again that I'm going to win the Tournament or else I won't be able to battle at the Pokémon League. I don't know why but Blaziken is getting really nervous, it's like something is bugging her. "Blaziken, what seems to be the problem?" I asked. "Huh? I don't have any problem." I'm not fully reassured of her answer, maybe she really wants to win, really wants to win. "Are you sure? It's like you're feeling kinda jumpy." I can tell because of her body language, she's feeling really uneasy. "Yes, yes I'm fine, and what do you mean by jumpy, I'm not jumpy, I don't have any problem, nope." Okay, now I'm sure something's going on, It's getting really suspicious, something is going on and Blaziken isn't telling me. "Look, Blaze..." 'Attention trainers, please return to the arena for the continuation of your battle, that is all.' Okay, maybe I'll have to talk to Blaze later. "Look, Blaze I know there is something going on okay? So after the fight we're going to have a little talk about what's going on okay?" I can see that she became really nervous as she started twiddling her fingers, now I'm certain that something is going on. "Um, okay..."

[Nathan's POV]

"Oh I guess we better get moving, It's going to resume." So me and my beloved Swampert headed back to the arena and I was sure that Pullen was waiting on the other side. "Yo Pullen you ready to continue?!" As sure as he'll ever be, he gave me a high thumbs up sign. As we were about to throw our Pokéballs, we heard an explosion coming from the other side of the stadium. 'Attention everyone, please evacuate the area immediately! A three wild Pokémon are rampaging in the stadium, so please leave immediately!' "Pullen, Let's go now!" I shouted at him and called our partners. "But how about Matthew?" Pullen reminded. He's right, Matthew still isn't here. "I'm sure Matthew and Sceptile will be able to handle this themselves." As we were talking we heard another explosion and it sounded near. "We have to hurry!" As we were rushing a huge, Golem like Pokémon blocked our path. "Where are they!" Where are who, we have no idea what the Pokémon wants. "Who are you, and what do you want!" I shouted. "That is non of your concern! Now tell me where are they!" "We have no idea what you're talking about! Pullen I think we better find Matthew and Sceptile!" As we faced the opposite direction, two Pokémon were there, a long green serpentine Pokémon and a red and blue flying type. "Oh you mean this two?" Me and the others were shocked as the two Pokémon were holding Matthew and Sceptile. "Let go of us you filthy Pokémon!" Matthew was squirming as so was Sceptile, but both can't get away. "Now tell me... WHERE ARE THEY?!" Suddenly a blue orb hit the Golem like Pokémon and covering the area in smoke. Then I felt somebody grabbed me. "Shh, be quiet we're getting you outta here."

[Pullen's POV]

"What the hell is going on?!" Then I felt somebody grab me by the waist. "Don't worry, just keep quiet." Suddenly I felt my body getting a little light and my head getting nauseous, then I felt my foot land on the ground. "Okay, who the hell are..." I was surprised to see that it was no other than, Lucario and the others.
"So it's you guys, I thought you three abandoned us." "Why would we do such a thing?" Lucario replied. "Well for starters, you guys err ladies, suddenly disappeared without even telling us. Then a bunch of suckers attack us..." Nathan interrupted. "Yeah what's the deal with those guys?" Matthew added.
" 'sigh' They were looking for us." I was a little confused on to why they would want them. "Who are those guys, and why are they looking for you three?"
Then suddenly I felt that the 'aura' in the area changed a little. " 'sigh' They were sent... To kill us." Me and the others were shocked of what we just heard. "Why would anyone do that to you guys, I mean gals." Nathan said. "First of all those three that attacked us were, Golurk, Serperior, and Braviary. You'd know which is which according to their names." "Who sent them?" Matthew interrupted. "You guys have so many questions... but might as well answer them. They were sent by the Hoenn Champion..." Now I'm really confused, why the heck would do 'The' Hoenn Champion, do such a thing. "And those three are the Champion's strongest Pokémon. The new, top three." Did she just say top three, and to be exact the 'new' top three? "So who was the old top three?" I asked. There was a long silence that filled the air, then it hit me. "Wait, you said the new top three? Wait so does that mean, you, Zoroark and Absol... Were the old top three?" I said in a sudden realization. "Exactly."
"But wait, that does not explain why he or she sent those three to kill you guys?" I added. "Listen, we'd like to tell you everything and all, but right now we have to keep on moving, We can't stay with you guys at the moment because, you guys are the first place that they will try to get information on our whereabouts." Lucario said. "Wait doesn't that make us they're number one targets?" Nathan questioned. "Don't worry, just remember you got each others backs and you guys have your Pokémon with you, but I'll tell you this, if you ever come across those three, don't battle them as much as possible escape quickly. You won't be able to beat them... for now." Lucario exclaimed. "We have to go now, if you ever need us, Nathan's going to know what to do." And of they went, suddenly disappearing. "Hey Nathan, what did she mean by that?" Matthew asked. "I have no idea, but she did say 'going to' so pretty much it's in the future or something." Nathan replied.

[Nathan's POV]

At the moment, I have no idea what Lucario just said, but I will find out... sooner or later. "Anyway, where are we?" Matthew wondered. "Um, I think we're in the Safari Zone." I said. "Guess that explains the tall grass." Pullen added. "I just remembered, Matthew where were you two when me and Pullen were battling?" "Yeah Matthew where were you guys?" Pullen added. " 'sigh' Look, Me and Sceptile planned that we will join the Tournament, and so far it was going pretty well, one of you two will be our next opponent, It was supposed to be a surprise, THEN a bunch of wacko murdering Pokémon shows up and ruins all the fun, tada." Matthew explained while doing a bunch of different hand gestures. "Oh, so that's where you were disappearing off to." Pullen said. "Soooo... I think we should get out?" I said. "But how?" Pullen said. "We have flying Pokémon, remeber?" I said in a sarcastic tone. "Go to hell." Pullen said as we were laughing and took out our flying Pokémon and headed towards the hotel entrance. As we entered we saw the man who was watching the news. 'Three wild Pokémon, known as Golurk, Braviary and Serperior originating from the Unova Region, attacked the stadium, disrupting the Hoenn Tournament and causing the injury of many people...' We then headed into my room to talk about it. "Okay, we better get ready we are leaving as soon as possible, those three might still be looking for us so we better hurry." I said. "Hey Nathan, where are we heading?" Swampert asked. "We are going to Sootopolis sweetie, Sootopolis is a very quiet place and it attracts few attention from anyone." I replied. "We are going to settle there for a while and think about what we are going to do." I added.
"Alright everyone prepare everything you need!" Pullen remarked. Each of us gathered all the things we needed we'll be staying a while in Sootopolis. After a few minutes everyone returned back to my room with really packed bags. "Okay is everybody ready?!" "Yes sir!" "Let's go now!" We went outside carefully while quickly scanning the area, then we took out our flying Pokémon and took off! We really didn't talk during the trip, because it might attract attention, one way or another. After a few hours or so we finally made it to our destination, Sootopolis City. Sootopolis is indeed a city, and it is quite a peaceful one. It was already dark, the moon was already up stars twinkling in the sky, we searched for the Pokémon Center. As we walked around we saw the familiar red roofed building and entered. "It feels a little chilly in here." Yup, it was very cold inside and quite... quiet. "Good evening and welcome to the Pokémon Center, what can I do for you?" The familiar nurse said. "Uh yeah, we would like three rooms." The nurse then handed us numbered keys, one, two and three, indicating that we were the only ones here. We then headed upstairs to get to our rooms. "So I guess we'll talk about what's going on tomorrow. Goodnight guys!" I said as me and Swampert headed inside of our room. "So what would you like for dinner?" I asked as I checked the fridge, it was filled, enough for a buffet. "Let's just cook whatever we can."

I finally finished the chapter! Hooray for me! I really hope you guys like this chapter, I'll be introducing new characters
on the next chapter! I'm really really sorry if this took a long time... I hope you guys are still there... I love all of my
readers! So please don't go! I'm doing my best to finish this, so please bear with me! I'm just having a really bad case
of writer's block... and pretty damn hot in here! It's hard living in a tropical country you know! Just keep on reading!
