Transformers: Family Facing the Fallen chapter 4

Author's note: sorry this took so long. I will be much slower with updates for a while due to writer's block and college homework as well as family related stuff.

The weeks went by and Thanksgiving came and went. The Wilson siblings were being taken to school by the Autobots every day and Lauren had decided to have Smokescreen, a newcomer Autobot, become her guardian while Terry's guardian was Ultra Magnus and Kyle wound up having Red Alert guard him.

At the present time though, the first week of December, Marcy was slowly walking around as she now had her cast off finally and no longer needed crutches. She was currently sitting in the main room with Lisa, Darcy, Kayla and Brandon on Elita One's lap while they were waiting for Optimus to join them so that Marcy could start reading a book out loud since that was something they had not done in a long time.

Lisa thought she had heard something coming from Jetfire's room and Lavender giggling but tried to think nothing of it. She then saw Optimus walking down the hall and heard him say something in Cybertronian that was roughly translated to "Please keep the noise level to a minimum if possible".

"I know they like each other a lot but I didn't think they'd be doing that already." Darcy commented, referring to interfacing.

"Leave them be Darcy; I am positive that they did not intend to annoy us while doing their 'personal activities'." Optimus Prime assured her as he came in and sat down next to Elita.

"Can you start reading to us now, Marcy?" Kayla asked.

"Of course I can." said her pop-culture obsessed older sister.

"and what book will you be reading for us?" Elita One wanted to know.

"Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief." Marcy replied. She began reading the first chapter.

When said chapter had been read, the kids, too sleepy to walk (or in Lisa's case wheel herself) back to their rooms, were taken to said rooms by Elita One and tucked them into bed. Optimus, on the other hand, was having a conversation with the Autobots' government agent ally, Agent Fowler.

"Prime, there's been an archaeological discovery in Egypt that we think the Decepticons would be interested in..."
