Transformers: Family facing the fallen chapter 5
It was now the next day and the Wilson siblings were going to school as usual. Today, after having a brief meeting the previous night with the other Autobots, Optimus Prime was going to Egypt. He was taking Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, Ratchet, Wheeljack, and Ironhide with him. The other Autobots were to remain behind.
"Elita One will be in charge of everything. I do not know when we will return." Optimus explained as the human children ate breakfast in the living room. The Autobots were getting their daily rations of energon while this was happening. "All 5 of you be good and be on your guard. Is that clear?"
"Yes sir." All 5 siblings replied as they got up and took their dishes to the sink. They only had to gather their school things then Emerald would drive them to school while Jazz watched Rhythm.
Marcy stopped briefly for a moment. "Optimus, did you remember that all of us kids are going to the movie theater tonight to see the movie Frozen?" she asked.
"Yes, I did remember; Bumblebee will be taking you and your siblings to the movie." The Autobot leader replied. I only wish I could see it with all of you, he thought. Optimus did have a fondness for Disney animated films though his team did not know about that.
"All right." Marcy sighed and went to get her school things.
When they were ready, the Wilson siblings went back to the living room and bid Optimus Prime and the others goodbye. Kayla said "Optimus, I hope everything goes well for you, the twins, Wheeljack, Ironhide and Ratchet while you're on your mission and that you will be able to make it home in one piece."
"I certainly hope so as well, young one." Optimus Prime replied.
Once the kids were dropped off at school, the 'bots who were going with Optimus on the mission went with their leader through the space bridge, not aware of what they would face while several timezones ahead of the West Coast of the U.S.A.
(Sometime later that night)
The Wilson siblings had finished watching Frozen at their local movie theater and Marcy was still singing some of the songs from the movie since she thought they were catchy. Bumblebee opened the doors to his altmode and waited for the kids to get in.
Marcy and Darcy allowed Lisa to get in first since she wanted to sit in the front passenger's seat, or rather the space where it would normally be since Bumblebee had modified his altmode a bit with help from Ratchet and First Aid to allow someone who used a wheelchair to be able to sit there without needing to be lifted out of said wheelchair. Darcy sat in the driver's seat while Marcy sat right behind her. Kayla and Brandon took the remaining 2 seats in the back.
"I hope once that movie comes out on DVD, we can finally show it to Optimus and Elita One." Brandon said.
"Same here; I hope he and the others who went with him are safe though." Darcy admitted as Bee started driving back towards the base.
"Considering that we don't know for sure, hoping for the best is the only thing we can do." Marcy admitted. She then decided to quote the Blue Lantern creed from the Green Lantern comic book series. '"In fearful day, in raging night with strong hearts full our souls ignite. When all seems lost in the war of light, look to the stars for hope burns bright"'.
"You and your frequent quoting of your favorite franchises." Lisa muttered.
"Hey, it's one of my favorites" her younger sister replied matter-of-factly.
The kids were silent the rest of the way back to base but, there was one problem.
"Decepticon seekers." Bumblebee muttered. "I've got to call for backup…"
(At base, sometime later. Lisa's POV)
The red headed teen awoke, blinking. She was confused at first as to where she was. Then she remembered; the Aerialbots and Elita One and Chromia had gone to help Bumblebee try to drive off the Decepticons and the battle had been intense. She had been knocked out when a 'con had tossed her towards Elita more likely than not. "Where are my siblings?" she asked, the worry made clear on her face.
Lavender had been watching the teen all night and hated to have to answer the question but knew that the human female deserved the truth. "Darcy, Marcy, Kayla, and Brandon are being held hostage by the Decepticons. Elita is still trying to negotiate for their release and Optimus has had Jetfire, Jazz, and Emerald come to back him up since he and the others who went with him are now actually facing the Fallen and his army."
"So Marcy's dreams were correct!" Lisa gasped. "Who is still here? And will Optimus be able to defeat him?"
"The Aerialbots, First Aid, Rythmn, myself, you, and Prowl." the medic replied. "Let's hope for everyone's sake that Optimus is victorious in his battle and can bring those who are with him back, online and uninjured..."
