Disclaimer: I don't own Power Rangers but I wish I did as I would bring back some of the old rangers to mentor teams, like Tommy in Dino Thunder.
Summary: 16 Rangers combine to fight Master Vile who has returned to Earth, the rangers can only use Zords that haven't been destroyed. S.P.D. unable to send anyone back to help, RPM in a different universe. This to my knowledge is the first time for this pairing so I hope it works ok.

Chapter 14 A trip to Phaedos
In the sky on the way back to the Shiba House the 4 Rangers returning to were talking to Cole.
"So who were those other two Ranger's we helped, and what happened to the one you were helping?" asked Lauren.
"The one I helped was Merrik, but he and Princess Shayla were taken by the Tenga's and I'm guessing Rito and Zedd while we were fighting that creature that calls himself Thrax" said Cole.
"There's one at the Shiba House who was hurt when I found her as well" said Justin.
"Who is she?"
"No idea, I don't know the names of your team"
"Well did she have Blonde hair or Dark?"
"Dark"
"Alyssa"
"You mean the one who used to be Dayu?" asked Lauren.
"Yeah that's her. How hurt was she?" asked Cole.
"I don't know she was unconscious when I found her" said Justin.
"Can you get us back quickly, I need to be there for her"
"Yeah I can" said Justin as he hit the accelerator and Storm Blaster new that meant Justin wanted to reach their destination quicker.
Master Vile's return
Meanwhile in the Shiba house Tommy's communicator started beeping.
"Tommy here" said Tommy as he answered the communicator.
"Tommy its Billy I have some bad news" said Billy's voice.
"What is it?"
"Thrax has been revived and before he arrived back on Earth he paid a visit to a few Planets"
"Billy what Planets?"
"Eltar, Triforia, Edenoi, Mirinoi, Inquiris, Gratha, Liaria and theirs a rumor that he appeared on Phaedos."
"We need to find out what he was doing on those planets and if he did go to Phaedos"
"Also if he did go to Phaedos what condition will Dulcea be in?"
"I'll ask Karone to use DECA and see what they were after"
"Ok and one more thing Tommy a lot of those planets have Ranger connections"
"I know Billy and thanks for letting us know"
"See you later Tommy and May the Power Protect You" said Billy as he ended the communication.
Master Vile's return
Ji, Cam, Karone and Delphine were tending to Alyssa's injuries when there was a Knock on the door.
Ji opened it to find Tommy standing there.
"Tommy what is it?"
"We might have bigger problems than we first thought"
"What's happened?"
"I just received a communication from Billy it appears that Thrax has been brought back and that he paid visits to some familiar Planets before reaching Earth"
"What can we do from Earth"
"Actually I was hoping Karone could use DECA's on board computer to find out what he was after since they mostly all have to do with Ranger Powers"
"Ok what Planets has he been on?" asked Karone.
"That I know for certain, Eltar, Triforia, Edenoi, Mirinoi, Inquiris, Gratha, Liaria and he might have even been to Phaedos" said Tommy.
"Why Gratha, they are an innocent Planet with no way of protecting themselves?" asked Delphine.
"Actually that wasn't always true" said Karone."
"What do you mean?"
"There was once a time when Gratha was considered as advanced in technology as KO-35, and they were rumored to have had the Ranger powers before The Astro Morpher's were created on KO-35. During the final days of the United Alliance of Evils attack Dark Specter felt Gratha was just too much of a risk to leave incase the rumors were true"
"So what happened to the powers on Gratha?"
"Well the Rumor says that an Eltarian on his way to Earth arrived one day with a robot Edenoi that was built to the same stats as Alpha one, and when the Eltarian left he took someone with him who is still n hibernation on this planet. But what he had done on Gratha was create a team of masked hero's to defend the planet against any danger they were called Star command heroes" (outfits resemble Choushinsei Flashman)
"Uhm Karone how do you know this stuff?" asked Tommy.
"Dark Specter had thousands of files full of information about every colonized planet and even some that weren't, and I was allowed to read them while he was turning me into Astronema and the information is still in my mind. Let's go" said Karone as she pulled Tommy out the door with her and they headed out side and towards the Astro Megaship as Storm Blaster landed.
Cole and Lily headed inside while Justin and Lauren headed over towards the Astro Megaship following Tommy and Karone in side.
Master Vile's return
"So what did we miss while were in Turtle Cove?" asked Justin.
"Not much except for Billy contacting us and telling us Thrax had attacked several other planets before he arrived in Turtle Cove and Karone filling in a part of Ranger history that I didn't even know" said Tommy.
"Really so what Planets did he attack?" asked Lauren.
"Any that had connections to where the Morphing grid has a major connection to, ranging from Eltar and Inquiris to Liaria and Gratha" said Tommy.
"Gratha?" questioned Justin.
"Yeah apparently Zordon picked up an apprentice on Gratha before he came to earth, how did it go it Turtle Cove?"
"The Animarium is gone the Wild Zords have been almost completely wiped out" said Lauren.
"So what's the plan Tommy?" asked Justin.
"We'll run some scans to check on one of Thrax's targets and see if it safe and if it is 11 of us are going to be heading off Earth to get some help" said Tommy.
"What's that mean?"
"We think Thrax might have paid a visit to Phaedos"
"Dulcea?"
"Exactly there are 11 Zords that she has the power to help us reach they were sent to her when we activated the Zeo powers so she could keep them safe"
"Now I understand what she meant when we saw her in Ocean Bluff when we helped Lily"
"She knew that the power would be needed"
"So which 11 are we sending?" asked Karone.
"Well we will need two Red's, Blue's, Black's, Yellow's, White's and a Pink" said Tommy.
"So that means you're out?" asked Justin.
"Yeah I need to start moving away from the Ranger business if I want to try and get my life back on track"
"Kim or Kat?" asked Justin.
"Kim she told me three weeks ago that I only needed to have my Morpher as an emergency incase the Earth gets invaded and that I didn't need to search out opportunities to get back in the suit"
"So who's coming with us on the Megaship?" said Karone. Making it obvious that three of the positions had been taken on the ship.
"Well Lily and Ronny both need to go, Carlos, Delphine and Alyssa defiantly Rocky and Adam since they know the destination" said Tommy.
"So that leaves Cole or Conner to take the final spot" said Justin.
"Yeah either way someone will be unhappy"
"Maybe not, Tommy what happened to Titanus?"
"I have no idea why?"
"Well you used Titanus to form both the Ninja and Shogun Megazord's?"
"So you think we should send someone just in case it's their and needs a host to activate it?"
"Yeah"
"Ok then both Cole and Conner go then that leaves me, Jen and Cam to hold the fort while you guys are on Phaedos"
"We should be quick unless Adam and Rocky decided to take the scenic route"
"We'll just have to make sure they don't" said Karone.
"Well is Phaedos safe?" asked Tommy.
"It seems so, I haven't really been able to pin point the exact location of the attack but it appears to be a plateau"
"We need to move ASAP"
"Tommy what's going on?" asked Justin.
"The location you need to get to on Phaedos is what Thrax attacked you need to get there and make sure that everything is ok"
"Right then lets collect the others and then we can head off" said Karone.
Master Vile's return
Ten minutes later the chosen 12 were outside getting ready to get on the Astro Megaship, they were currently setting up who would be sharing rooms with who.
Conner and Ronny were in together as were Cole and Alyssa and Justin and Lauren, it was decided the others would Adam and Rocky, Carlos had his old room back and to himself Delphine had a room to herself so she could store her water, and that left Lily and Karone sharing a room.
Just before takeoff Conner made Karone wait as he had something he needed to give Tommy.
"Hey Dr. O wait up" called Conner as he ran off the ship.
"Conner what is it?" asked Tommy.
"You might need this just in case" said Conner as he handed Tommy the Shield of Triumph.
"The Mezadon?"
"Yeah without us here to help form Megazord combos you might need it"
"That girl has really help you focus hasn't she"
"Yeah I care for her and she cares for me and she has bought out the leader I should have always been during our time as Dino Rangers"
"I'm glad to hear that now go and Conner May the Power Protect You all"
"Thanks, and you to Dr. O try not to get in to much trouble while we're gone" Conner laughed as he headed back to the Astro Megaship and shut the door.
Tommy shook his head knowing the old Conner was still in there.
Master Vile's return
As soon as Karone saw the door was closed she and Carlos got the ship air born and programed in the coordinates of Phaedos, and then they flew off towards their destination.
"Alpha Prime keep us on course we need to show the others around" said Karone.
"Of course I will Karone" replied Alpha Prime.
Karone and Carlos headed down to the Mess hall as that's where the other Rangers had been told to wait for Carlos and Karone until the ship was on its way.
"Ok everyone" said Karone as she and Carlos entered the mess hall. "We know you're all itching to get to Phaedos but it will take the best part of a day since we don't have the Morphing grid to teleport us their"
"So what do we do until then?" asked Lily.
"You can ether crash in your quarters or have some fun on board ship" said Carlos.
"What sort of things have you got that we can do for fun?" asked Conner.
"Well there is the simulator come on follow us and we will show you what it is" said Karone.
Everyone followed Karone and Carlos down to a room that had a glass door and windows looking in.
"This is the Simulator" said Carlos.
"What does it do?" asked Conner.
"Inside you can program the computer to simulate any monster fought by any team of Rangers so you can train to be better"
"Hey Conner how about you try it out since you are so interested?" said Karone with a smirk on her face.
"Can I join him in there as well?" asked Ronny.
"Yeah what sort of level of competition do you want to start with?"
"Let's go medium" said Conner.
"Ok get ready" said Karone.
A few seconds later two shapes appeared in the room with Conner and Ronny, one was Zeltrax and the other was Volcan both Rangers quickly Morphed and defeated their opponents easily.
"Can you give us two tough ones that neither of us have faced before?" asked Ronny.
"Done" said Karone as she pressed a few buttons and the two shapes appeared again this time they vanished leaving a woman in Gold Armor standing in front of Ronny and a gold monkey standing in front of Conner.
"Who are these two?" asked Conner.
"I am Goldar and this is Scorpina" said the Gold monkey.
This two were a lot tougher for Conner and Ronny to fight, but eventually they managed to beat them down.
"Are you happy or do you want to go stronger?" asked Karone.
"Why have you got more?" asked Conner.
"I have two extremely strong fighter in the computer bank but I won't use them unless you think you could seriously defeat them, they are that strong" said Karone.
"What do you think Ronny?" asked Conner.
"I'm ready to give it a go if you are" Ronny replied.
"Set them up we're never going to be able to beat the best unless we fight them and see how we compare" said Conner.
"Right don't say I didn't warn you" said Karone.
The two roughly humanoid shapes appeared a third time and the first person to be revealed was Astronema and the second was Tommy in the Green Ranger outfit.
"Are you serious?" asked Justin from the outside of the room.
"Hey they asked for it. It hurts me to even see myself like that anymore" said Karone.
"Then why?"
"To find out how strong they really are if they ask for it they must have some sort of confidence"
"But surly there are other extremely strong enemy's they could face"
"Maybe but Conner needs to know to watch what he say's"
Just then a thud was heard from in the room and there was Conner and Ronny in a heap by the door.
"Ok you made your point" said Conner, as he and Ronny struggle to their feet and exit the simulator.
Karone and Carlos finish the tour of the Astro Megaship and the others in their rooms while they return to the Bridge to see how far they are away from Phaedos.
Master Vile's return
Meanwhile in their Room Justin and Lauren were lying on their bed holding each other and thinking of what might happen on this mission.
"Lauren when we have defended the world from Master Vile I have something I want to ask you" said Justin.
"Really any chance of a clue as to what?" asked Lauren.
"I don't want to spoil the surprise"
"Ok, Justin what do you think we will find on Phaedos?"
"Hopefully we will find what we need, and we should find the plateau that was attacked since Rocky and Adam have both been to Phaedos"
"I hope they remember the way?"
"I'm sure they will"
"I love you"
"I know and I love you to"
Master Vile's return
About 6 hours later DECA'S voice came through the comlink's to everyone's quarters.
"Rangers you are all required in the control room we have arrived at Phaedos and just need to find a safe landing spot"
Master Vile's return
10 minutes later everyone had made their way to the control room.
"Ok Adam, Rocky can you get us as close to the Plateau as possible?" asked Karone.
"We'll do are best" said Adam.
"Over their" said Rocky as he points to a landing spot of the coast and next to a big rock.
Karone lands the ship and the exit the ship and follow Adam and Rocky to the plateau where they hope Dulcea either in human form or Animal form will be waiting.
Rocky and Adam lead the way and lead the others round mountains and up and down extremely steep cliffs until they finally reached the remains of the Ninjetti Temple, it was clear Thrax had caused some serious damage hear the remains of the Temple were almost destroyed beyond recognition.
"Oh no" said Rocky.
"DULCEA ITS ADAM THE FROG AND ROCKY THE APE ARE YOU STILL HERE?" called Adam.
There was a low groan as some ruble fell away and their stood a hurt and drastically aged Dulcea.
"Rangers thank goodness you are here Thrax is back" said Dulcea.
"Yeah we know he has already destroyed almost all of the Wild Zords and their monument on the Animarium" said Rocky.
Lauren and Justin walked over to Dulcea to see if they could help here.
"I know why you are here but I don't know why there are 12 of you when I will only require 11"
"So you mean Titanus isn't here?" asked Rocky.
"I do not think so, why would it be here anyway?"
"Well you see it forms part of the Ultrazord for both sets of Zords that are hidden here" said Justin.
"I guess you will just have to find out when you get to the monolith?"
"Uhm Master Dulcea when you finally die will you return to the Pai Zhuq academy?" asked Lily.
"Yes my child I shall return and a new guardian will be chosen and sent here to make sure the monolith with always have a protector" said Dulcea.
"Dulcea in your weakened state can you still activate our Ninjetti Powers?" asked Adam.
"Yes I can but why is the ape wearing Blue?"
"That is because Master Vile broke our Ninjetti powers when he 1st attacked earth and we had to upgrade to the powers of the Zeo Crystal but by then thanks to Delphine and the other Rangers of Aquitar they used our Zords and forced Vile to retreat" said Rocky.
"Then that's when the two sets of Zords came here so they would be ready for the day Vile followed through with his plan and returned" added Adam.
"Well I have just enough power left to empower you all with your animal spirits" said Dulcea
"Which Ranger will be left out?" asked Justin.
"None that way when you get back and start fighting either Cole or Conner can activate a different Megazord so you can have the numbers edge in the fight."
"Thank you Dulcea for doing this for us" said Adam.
"I just need to say one thing since you last approached the Monolith he guards have changed there are now 6 of them and they will be stronger. We shall perform the ritual tonight to empower you and then tomorrow you can begin your quest" said Dulcea.
Master Vile's return
Four hours later after the 12 Rangers had helped clear the destruction away and found the idols that Dulcea had hid after the last time she had empowered the 6 Rangers to help stop Ivan Ooze.
"Ok Dulcea we are ready when you are?" said Adam.
"Deep within each of us is an animal spirit waiting to be released. Close your eyes and look inside." Dulcea said. The Rangers closed their eyes and Dulcea blew a powder on them. They each appeared in Ninjetti costumes.
Dulcea walked over to the first of the 12 Rangers and said. "Lily, even though you already have a Cheetah and a Penguin, you also contain the potential to be a bear"
Next to her was Lauren. "Lauren the fire of leadership is strong in you and that will help you in controlling the mighty ape."
Next to her was Justin. "Justin you were so young when you were chosen but you stayed true to yourself and never used your powers selfishly it is for that reason that you are the wolf."
Next to him was Karone. "Karone you have followed the path of another legendary Ranger and gone from the evil Astronema to the Pink Galaxy Ranger, your journey has been difficult but you made it that is why the Crane has chosen you."
Next up was Adam. "Adam, you truly show that your Zord choice was right you truly are the Frog and have earned its trust to such an level that you and it will be together always."
Next was Delphine. "Delphine your inner spirit is still active and it is the Falcon, winged lord of the skies."
Delphine smiled and nodded to Dulcea in thanks.
The next Ranger up was Ronny. "Ronny, you are the Ancient bear, dedicated and unbeatable."
Next in line was Conner. "Conner you possess great power within you from you T-Rex and smart in your own way, you are the Ancient ape."
Up next was Rocky. "Well Ape it appears that it is all change with you"
"Yeah it is Dulcea It never felt right me in Red, that was Jason's power"
"Rocky you have grown in yourself and are a lot more wiser than you once were it is great joy I give you the power of the Ancient Wolf
Carlos was next. "Carlos you have proven yourself to strong and quick thinking there for you shall control the Ancient Frog
Dulcea walked up to Alyssa next. "Alyssa the spirit of the Tiger is strong with you and so is the power of Falcon so I bestow on you the power of the Ancient Falcon."
Finally Dulcea approached Cole "Cole as Lauren the Lion is strong in you and I also feel the Ape's longtime friend the Gorilla in you and because of this you can call forth the Ancient Ape just as Conner can but only one of you can call it at a time" said Dulcea as the magical fire died down to just enough to keep the rangers warm overnight.
"To be in harmony with your animal spirit, is to have the force of the Ninjetti. To those who are the Ninjetti, anything is possible" said Dulcea before turning into her Owl form and flying away.
Master Vile's return
6 AM the next morning Adam and Rocky woke everyone and decided they should head off early so they could try to avoid the midday heat so it wouldn't become an issue later.
"It's time." Adam said he looked at the Monolith and lead them towards it while Rocky was at the back.
The 12 of them walked through the jungle and soon reached the Dino Grave Yard that they had been through years before at this time a Triceratops didn't attack them.
"Thank god we got through that so easily"
"Easily, every things dead in their isn't it?" asked Justin.
"The first time we came through here we got attacked by a Triceratops, Tommy ended up getting on top of it and pulling out its neck bone and the creature collapsed"
"So is that why he became a paleontologist?" asked Conner.
"Now I think of it, it might have had something to do with it" replied Adam.
"So how far away from the Monolith is the Jurassic Park Grave Yard" asked Justin.
"Probably about an hour away"
Master Vile's return
An hour and a half later the 12 Rangers finally reached the Monolith and regrouped and began looking round it for the Guards and their set into the wall of the monolith like the 4 defenders had been the first time but now there was 6 of them.
"Well we have found them" said Adam.
"How do we get them down and open the Monolith?" asked Lauren.
"I don't know last time Tommy touché done and the all woke up and attacked us" said Rocky.
"Maybe we do the same thing as Tommy did before" suggest Justin.
As he walked up to creatures that were calved into the Monolith in a pyramid shape.
The top one or Gatekeeper 1 wielded serrated curved blades.
The left middle one or Gatekeeper 2 wielded a spiked/bladed spear.
The right middle one or Gatekeeper 3 wielded a spiked club.
The left lower one or Gatekeeper 4 wielded a six-bladed axe (three blades on each side).
The central lower one or Gatekeeper 5 wields a skull-themed two-pronged staff with axe-like blades.
The right lower one or Gatekeeper 6 wields a pair of Sais
Justin raised his hand and touched one but nothing happened he turned his back to them and started walking back but that was a mistake since as soon as his back was turned the stone weapons on the 6 Gatekeepers were replaced by metal ones then the stone cover dissolved and the creatures began to free themselves from the Monolith.
"JUSTIN LOOK OUT" called Lauren.
Justin spun round and saw the 6 Gatekeepers were free and on with serrated curved blades it swung them at Justin and managed to nick his Ninjetti outfit as he back tracked from them and rejoined the other Rangers.
"Let's activate our new powers" said Justin.
"Right Ninjetti Power activate" they all called.
"Ninjetti the Bear" called Lily.
"Ninjetti the Ape" called Lauren.
"Ninjetti the Wolf" called Justin.
"Ninjetti the Crane" called Karone.
"Ninjetti the Frog" called Adam.
"Ninjetti the Falcon" called Delphine.
"Ninjetti the Bear" called Ronny.
"Ninjetti the Ape" called Conner.
"Ninjetti the Wolf" called Rocky.
"Ninjetti the Frog" called Carlos.
"Ninjetti the Falcon" called Alyssa.
"Ninjetti the Ape" called Cole.
The 12 of them all stood there with their full ninja outfits on, and split into 6 groups of 2 to take on a Gatekeeper each.
Master Vile's return
20 minutes later the Rangers finally defeated the final Gatekeeper and as he exploded the Monolith began shaking and then an opening appeared and a plinth with 12 different Zords slid out there were.
The Ape and the Ancient Ape,
The Bear and the Ancient Bear,
The Wolf and the Ancient Wolf,
The Frog and the Ancient Frog,
The Falcon and the Ancient Falcon,
The Crane,
And finally out of the plinth came Titanus.
The plinth lit up and the 12 animal Spirits left the protection and approached the 12 Rangers and they melded with the spirits already within the Rangers and once settled in their new home they powered up the Rangers suits, and in a bright flash 12 suited up Rangers were standing their each suits had changes to it but it was still the suit each Ranger had worn while with their team.
Lily's was the same and under her order of the claw symbol sat a Bear face
Lauren's was still red her Samurai Symbol was still in place on her helmet but on her chest was an Ape.
Justin's was the same but where the yellow patch had been on his chest had been replaced with a Wolf in the center of the chest.
Karone's was the same except for her helmet which had been molded to have Crane like features on it.
Adam's was still black but now in the center of the white diamond on his chest was a Frog.
Delphine's was the same with the exception of the design on her chest it had been replaced with a Falcon
Ronny's was the same as normal except the Overdrive logo had been replaced by a Bear face
Conner's suit had changed a little it was a darker red almost like his Triassic suit and his helmet had ridge protruding out of it like Tommy's Dino Thunder helmet.
Rocky's was still his blue Zeo suit but his helmet had Wolf ears protruding from the top of it.
Carlos's was still black but now his helmet had frog's eyes sprouting from the top of it.
Alyssa's was still white and the only change had been the gold crest on her suit now showed a Falcon.
Cole's was still red and the Helmet still showed the Lion but the gold crest on his chest showed an Ape.
Master Vile's return
After a few minutes for them all to take in what had just happened Justin turned to Karone and asked "It's time to get back can you have DECA pick us up hear or do we need to walk back to the ship?"
"I'll try and call the ship" replied Karone.
"Hey Justin I like the new look" said Lauren.
"Yeah I like yours to" said Justin.
Karone came over and said "DECA said the ship will be on its way shortly so we should be ready"
"Cool thanks Karone" said Justin.
The other 9 Rangers were looking at their suits and getting used to the few changes to them and that's when the Astro Megaship flew in and hovered above them.
"DECA 12 to teleport" said Karone.
DECA teleported all 12 Rangers back up and laid in a course for Earth.
