Greer pulled at her uniform... "Greer..." the professor mumbled. "Sorry professor, just not sure if I'm ready..." "You should be, I believe that your training with Logan should have prepared you for this...Besides I've seen you mentor Laura... You do have a way with teaching people..." "Trying to survive a training session with Logan and training only one mutant is different from training a couple of mutants with Remy professor..." she pointed out as she wheeled the professor out of the lift. "Speak of the devil..." she groaned as they came face to face with the deviled eye Cajun.

"Hello Professor, Cheri... Ready to train the new midgets..." he leered flashing his white teeth. "They're not midgets Remy...And don't call me that, don't you already have a girlfriend? You know Rouge?" Greer teased pinning up her long hair. "True that...But I can't help myself, I have to compliment a pretty girl... If I don't C'est grossier" "Yeah right..."

"ENOUGH! You two are instructors not students. Behave like instructors..." "Sorry professor..." Greer mumbled. It's been two years since apocalypse surfaced...Pyramids were still appearing everywhere...She sighed. So much has changed. Mayor Kelly was now Senator Kelly and he was insane creating all sorts of mutant prejudice policies... Mutant bans were everywhere. He even started a thing called the MRD, some special police force that could openly arrest mutants. Sentinels practically walked side by side with people.

Mutants were in hiding. Including Greer... Senator Kelly had blacklisted her due to her friendship with his daughter Riley... She had been immediately kicked out of her university and with nowhere to go, went back to the mansion. The others had better luck, Kurt, Kitty, Rouge and the rest of the new mutants were studying for their SATS. Jean was in medical school with Scott. Gambit or Remy had reformed and joined the X men much to everyone's surprise. He and Greer became part of the teaching staff alongside Logan, Ororo and Hank... Today was their first day meeting and teaching the new recruits.

"All right Tigra, Gambit good luck..." the professor called as he prepared to wheel into his office. "Um professor...You did warn them about you know...How I look right?" Greer asked knowing the fangs and tail would set people off. The professor smiled... "Greer, I think you are capable of doing that yourself now... So why don't you switch off your inducer" he comforted before the doors slammed shut. "Professor..." Greer whined but stopped when Remy placed a gloved hand or her shoulder. "You're too tensed Cheri... And ol' Gambit knows what to help you relax..." he cooed as he rubbed her shoulders... "ahahaha...Yeah get off me..." she growled making her way to the danger room.

"Ready?" Gambit grinned. "As I'll ever be." And they made their way to Storm who was briefing the new mutants. Greer could literally feel the new recruit's eyes travelling down her body. "Hooo boy..." she groaned in her head. Ignoring them she walked to the front of the class and looked back at them. "Well this is interesting..." she thought looking at them. Most of the recruits were at least fourteen or at most seventeen. "Smile Cheri...You're scaring them..." Remy whispered to Greer noticing the recruit's nervous faces.

"Ahh Greer, Remy so glad you can make it," Ororo smiled. "Alright class, these are you're combat instructors Greer and Remy. I'll leave you now..." she smiled before walking off "Bonjour..." Remy smiled devilishly. "Hi..." Greer waved. "Combat instructors? Why would we need combat instructors?" a dark haired boy asked daringly. Greer gave the boy a sly smile while Remy raised an eyebrow... Interesting very interesting...

"Good question... Julian Keller am I right? Professor has told me all about you...As X men we don't just teach you how to control your powers but also how to use them because there are always people who will try to hurt you for being mutants... As Combat instructors we ensure you know how to use your powers to properly defend yourselves..." "Oh I can defend myself just fine..." a voice among the students called out suddenly. Greer turned and saw Julian high five a big...No huge boy, completely made out of rock. "Sure you can..." Remy agreed sarcastically while Greer elbowed him. "What Remy means is...Better safe than sorry... Although all of you have extraordinary gifts you can still learn some things from us old timers..."

"So what are your powers?" Julian interrupted. Remy pulled out a card. "Remy..." Greer warned. "What he called for a demonstration no?" he mocked before throwing the card backwards. The card hovered on top of the ground for a bit before creating a mini explosion. "Hey that's cool! "Awesome!" "Hey Greer right? Aren't you a little young to be an instructor?" Julian asked. "Yeah and why do you wear such a weird necklace?" a pink haired girl pointed out. Remy laughed. "They have spirit...I like that..." "Can it..." Greer growled.

She stopped growling when she caught a purple haired girl staring at her intensely. "Please show us..." Greer sighed. "Right... Since all of you are dying to know...I'm what you call a feral..." There was a snicker, obviously from Julian... "You don't look very feral to me..." he teased. Greer grinned. "You'd be surprised..." she mumbled before deactivating her inducer.

Greer rolled her eyes at the gasps of horror and shock, "and this is what I do..." she continued. Using her claws she tore through a metal block like it was paper " So since we're done with our introductions...why don't you guys introduce yourselves..." "Oh Cool! Is this the part we get to show our powers?!" Julian interrupted again. "That's right mon ami... So let's start with you..." Remy smiled

Greer watched skeptically as Julian made his way center stage... "My name is Julian Keller...Prepared to be amazed..." He grinned arrogantly before surrounding himself with green light and the others "oohed' and "ahhed" as he hovered above them. Greer smirked "something tells me that hot shot here has been practicing for this moment..." she thought silently. "Telekinetic?" Remy asked "Telekinetic..." Greer agreed jotting it down. "Next..."

The purple girl haired girl was next... " Um yeah hello, I'm Betsy Braddock..." she spoke with a distinct British accent. "And what is your specialty Betsy?" Remy asked gently. "I can read and move things with my mind...I think there is a term for that..." "Two actually...You are a telepath and a telekinetic...Can you show us?" Greer asked slowly. Betsy closed her eyes...A few seconds later what looked like butterfly wings appeared around her face and the pen that Greer was holding suddenly levitated in the air and summersaulted. "Very nice...Next..."

The youngest student practically floated to where Greer was standing. Greer couldn't help but smile at how adorable she was. The girl had long bright pink hair with pointed ears like an elf. Her eyes were unique, as she had green irises, but pitch-black sclera. "Hi! I'm Megan!" she said happily, almost a little too happily. "Oh! And I do this!" she smiled sweetly before pulling off her oversized jacket revealing translucent insect like wings. "Pixie..." Remy snickered, Greer couldn't help but nod in agreement, she did look very much like a pixie...

Lastly the huge sized boy made out of rock lumbered to Greer and Remy. "I'm Santo..." he rumbled "but friends call me Rockslide..." to prove his point he punched his fists together. Greer winced as the impact of the punch caused her hair to fly backwards while Remy dusted chips of rocks off his trench coat. "Very nice..." he said dryly. Greer and Remy looked at each other. They had their hands full. This was going to be a very eventful year...

"So how are the new recruits..." the Professor asked as Greer and Remy entered his office. "Gambit likes what he sees..." Remy smiled scratching his chin while Greer rolled her eyes. "We have two telekinetics, one can only move large objects (like his ego) while the other can only move small objects but she compensates with her telepathy... Another, Megan she's a pixie, literally...She has butterfly wings and there's Santo... He's completely made out of rock, Logan's gonna love training him..."

"Somebody called my name?" Came a familiar gruff. "Logan!" Greer cried happily wrapping her mentor in a hug. She hadn't seen him for months, he had been...adventuring somewhere in the wilderness...So she missed him. "Whoa...Tigger...Easy...You've been working out?" Logan smiled patting her back. "Yeah... Training Laura not to kill is a work out itself..." Logan cracked a rare smile. "So she's not X23 anymore?" "No, she's now known to everyone as Laura Kinney... She even goes to school thanks to Greer's encouragement..." the professor remarked wheeling towards Logan while Remy waved lazily. "Huh...I'd never guess..." Logan smirked. "So what brings you back, you are a week early..." the professor asked. Logan stopped smirking. "There's trouble brewing... And I need help... Tigger? Bright eyes? How bout a little trip?"
