Author's voice: Five reviews and I'll update by tmr with new characters...

Greer watched from the opposite table as Logan and the Jonathan guy spoke over a couple of beers. She wrinkled her nose at the smell of booze. They were literally binging on the alcohol...This was there eighth...No tenth bottle of beer... Each... Greer also couldn't help but notice how Jonathan kept stealing glances at her. Uncomfortably she looked sideways and aimed her attention at the floor. "Hey Greer..." "Hey guys..." She grinned at Kurt and Kitty as they came stumbling in with mountains of books.

"SAT's aren't so easy huh..." Greer teased looking at Kitty fumble over her notes while also picking up Kurt's oversized textbook. It was ridiculous. Almost every page was color-coded. "Hey give that back! You're gonna mess that up!" he whined. Greer rolled her eyes. "Relax elf, I was just looking..." "Speaking of looking...Who's that guy looking at you?" Kitty asked suddenly chilling Greer to the bone.

"Tha..That guy? Which guy?" Greer asked faking ignorance. Kitty rolled her eyes. "The guy who's making goo goo eyes at you..." "He is not making goo goo eyes at me... Oh and his name is Jonathan Michaels" she hissed. "Jonathan huh? Well I think he has the hoots for you... What do you think Kurt" Kitty smirked. "Ja...He keeps staring at you..." Kurt pointed with his pencil. Greer turned around; sure enough Jonathan was staring at her.

Quickly Greer turned back around her cheeks burning. "Wow you're like blushing..." Kitty laughed. "I'm not blushing..." Greer lied despite feeling her burning cheeks. " I think you are..." Kurt agreed. "Oh yeah? Maybe I'm just putting too much blush on..." Greer said stupidly. Kurt and Kitty burst into laughter. "That was probably ze dumbest lie I've ever heard from you!" Kurt snickered "You have fur Greer... You don't need blush..." Kitty pointed out. "I...Ugh... Is he still staring at me?" Greer asked. Kitty leaned out. "Oh yeah...And he's making his way over here now..."

Greer was mortified. Not wanting to risk looking like an idiot especially in front of Kurt and Kitty, she stood up slowly to leave only to swear excessively when she bumped straight into Jonathan. She screamed silently in frustration when she heard Kurt and Kitty burst into fits of laughter. "Sorry doll... I didn't mean to hurt you...Again." "Um ok?" Greer mumbled before giving Kurt and Kitty looks to signal she needed help. "Kurt, I think we need to leave Greer to get acquainted with the new guy..." Kitty said innocently before phasing through the ground. "Kurt don't do this to me..." Greer warned. "Bmf!" Greer groaned. "Terrific."

"Interesting friends you got there eh?" " Uh yeah..." Greer mumbled. "I'm Jonathan... Greer right?" he asked. "Yeah..." Silence. "Well this is awkward..." Greer thought desperately. "Um well yeah, would you like to join us for a drink?" Jonathan asked pointing to a drinking Wolverine. "NO!" Greer screamed in her head. Not wanting to be rude she just nodded and followed him to the table.

As Greer reached for her chair, so did Jonathan who attempted to be a gentlemen. The result, their heads collided painfully together. "Oww..." Greer snapped. "I'm sorry..." Jonathan apologized. "It's ok...It's ok..." Greer lied now really annoyed. Rubbing her forehead she sat down. Jonathan looked at her sadly before silently taking his seat. Logan chuckled. "Slick..." he mumbled to Jonathan who just shrugged and gingerly tossed Greer a beer.

Greer fumbled clumsily before catching the bottle. She looked at it in disgust. She didn't know if her transformation caused this but she couldn't stand the taste of alcohol. "Thanks but no thanks..." she mumbled shoving the bottle away from her. "C'mon this is a good stuff..." Jonathan laughed shoving the bottle back. "I would prefer to stay sober..." "C'mon take it..." "I don't want it..." "Take it..." "Michaels I don't think..." Logan tried to interlude but Jonathan continued insisting that Greer take the beer but Greer rejected everytime.

Finally Jonathan stood up. "WHY ARE YOU REJECTING ME?" he cried clutching the beer bottle with all his might causing it to shatter and the contents to spill all over a surprised Greer. There was an earth shattering silence. Greer wiped the bitter golden liquid off her hair and face in disbelief. "Logan I gotta go clean up... The booze is seeping into my fur..." Greer said finally before walking out of the cafeteria. "Hey wait...WAIT!"

Greer ignored the pleas and kept walking. She snarled a little as Jonathan ran up and blocked her way. "I..." "What is your problem?!" she growled. "I..." "Why do you keep shoving yourself in my face? Just leave me alone ok?" Greer announced shoving him aside and slamming the door in his face. "Hrrr...he's not attractive... NOT ATTRACTIVE AT ALL..." she thought as she gingerly licked herself clean.
