A WILD UPDATE APPEARS!

I've been putting this off for quite some time now, but I feel now is a good time to get it out of the way before I forget.

It's been over two years since this story has been updated. I cringe whenever I think about it, and having just looked at it again before typing this note out, I still do. I didn't mean for it go on this long without a continuation. To be frank, I had simply lost the motivation to work on it. 2013 was a year where I struggled to find a job and bring in a decent income, and with each place I went to that rejected me after the first or second interview, I lost the incentive to work on anything longer than a one-shot, drabble, what-have-you, etc.

Over the course of that time, I contemplated simply taking down Until We Meet Again and shelve it for another time because, as you know, I'm so fucking inconsistent with my schedule. I procrastinate and dilly-dally when I know I should be working on the latest chapter, and that has always been something I wanted to improve on. I don't expect to churn out chapter after chapter after right away even though I want to, but I decided to take it upon myself to get to the point where I don't hesitate or sit on my chair and twiddle my thumbs or whatever people do to pass the time.

But, to the point. I've come to the decision that Until We Meet Again will be rewritten and uploaded again in the near future. The story overall will remain the same, but there are some elements to it – mainly the painfully obvious World of Warcraft references interwoven among the militarized Silver Millennium backstory – that will be pruned, revised, and otherwise removed. It's a little embarrassing to see them in there, because I added those into the story at a time when I just begun playing WoW and sucked royally at it.

Also, at this time, I'm currently watching Madoka again to familiarize myself with and get a better understanding of the lore; and, I will admit, I never got past Episode 10. I may or may not include Rebellion in the rewrite as I have yet to see it, and whether or not it will factor into it remains to be seen.

I feel bad for letting this story sit so long without an update, and for that I apologize. I would also like to thank everyone who's stuck around and put up with those long periods of absence. I hope to make it up to all of you when I come back around to it and, by then, have a better grasp on my consistency.

Signed,

GP
