A/N Inner time!

Fuck! What's Happening!

"Alright, let me get this straight. So while I was beaten into unconsciousness you and the Caveman had gotten all hot and cuddly before playing twenty questions then calling it a night? What kind of best friend does that?!" I yell at Sakura while we walk towards her school. Dressed in what could have been the same exact clothes as yesterday Sakura makes me think of one of those manga characters who only seem to own one fucking outfit.

I on the other hand will never do something so often…Well not to too often.

Today I have on a dark burgundy tank top, black booty shorts with a silver studded black belt and knee high black leather boots with an inch heel. My luscious pastel green hair hangs freely to the center of my back and my eyes are lightly rimmed in black.

Damn I look good, I think with a stab of guilt.

When I woke up this morning I immediately fed from Sakura, who had only gotten roughly three or four hours of sleep. So now other than her repetitiveness she also has black bags under her eyes. Add that to just how much she learned yesterday proves she is downright exhausted.

"Me apparently," whispers my charge. Annoyance bleeding through her words as she glares at me. "Will you stop calling Sasuke 'caveman'? Why the hell do you do that anyway?"

"Do what?"

"Give people ridiculous nicknames!"

"Two reasons," I start and hold up my pointer finger. "One because it makes it easier for me to remember them' I lift up my middle. "And two it's funny as hell!" I laugh in reply. Glancing her way I see her eyes narrow as her face makes up a snarl.

"Why do you call him 'caveman'?"

"Oh I don't know maybe because he barely talks without grunting like he belongs in the fucking Stone Age!" She rolls her emerald eyes as I roll my blazing pink ones. "Would you prefer something more along the lines of 'Emo Boy'?"

Sakura sighs. "Caveman it is."

"So what are we going to do?"

She looks at me questionably. "Do?"

Aghast I pull her to a stop. Crossing my arms I stand in front of my charge.

"Look, let's recap. Yesterday we found out that not only are there a handful of other people at your school with unknown spiritual abilities possibly inherited from Gods but there is also a crazed Tailed Beast trapped in an Idiot by some guy who might be immortal." I take another step closer, seeing a pinkish hue on her from my glowing skin. "Your teacher is a Pervert, your old best friend won't do anything if it gets out that she was in a mental institution like you. Oh! Ha! And let's not forget you were kidnapped three years ago by a crazed therapist then illegally given your new boyfriends-"

"He's not my boyfriend!" Interrupts Sakura with a furious blush.

"-brothers heart thus causing his family to commit suicide and somehow making said brother your spirit guide. I had my ass handed to me three fucking times and couldn't do shit about it! You made me! I'M SUPPOSED TO PROTECT YOU!" I scream. "HOW THE FUCK CAN I DO THAT WHEN WE ARE UP AGAINST…GAH!"

I stomp away roaring out all the anger that has been building up inside me for the last 24 hours.

I can't do anything! Why? All I can do is make those damn annoying little demons away and that's pathetic compared to what the Caveman and the Stuffed-Toy can do. Trash compared to how Piglet can help her against the rumors. Less than nothing when compared to even a germ on that damned Fox's fleas!

Leaning against a dark car I shove my hands in my face, knowing that if I could I would be crying.

Sakura gently pulls my hands away from my face, cupping them in her own she whispers my name. Looking up at her through blue glazed eyes I barely see her tear streaked face.

"Inner," she starts. "If it wasn't for you I wouldn't even be here. I would have been dead years ago because of those demons. You have protected me! And you will but…" she bites her lip. "I think we both need some kind of training."

"Training?" I ask as my vision returns to normal.

"Yes. Look we just got freed from the hospital a few days ago and nearly everything we know has been flipped upside down. Out here I can't just hide behind you from everything so I'm going to have to get stronger as well. I just need to do it in a way that won't kill me. You need to find a way to fight against other creatures because there are things that only you can do that I can't. Like walk through walls. I will never be able to do that."

I chuckle, causing her to grin, as a thought flies through my mind.

"What do you say we start by finding out what we are?"

Sakura shakes her head then resumes walking towards school again with me trailing behind. "That would be smart but something could happen if we are unprepared. So how about this? While I'm in class you go find out what the hell is out there. What kind of creatures are roaming the streets what could we possibly be? I'll try to find out what my classmates are and learn as much as I can from Sasuke about the supernatural world."

"But what if a demon attacks you while you're at school?"

"Then Itachi can finally do his job." She grins at me. "You've basically been doing it for him and I'm pretty sure that if he could he would have already given us the information we want. Since he hasn't even brought it up, it's either because he doesn't know or he can't tell us. Plus he lost his memories of when he was alive so anything that could have been important Sasuke would most likely know."

Grinning mischievously I wrap an arm around her shoulder. "And what about your studies missy? Remember this school has some weird ass teamwork program."

Rolling her emerald eyes she shakes her head. "I'll do what I can. Studying is easy for me but hopefully I get someone easy to talk to so that maybe I can explain my situation."

"Hopefully" I agree with a nod.

Alright so starting today school hours are detective hours. While after school hours are…

"What are we going to do after school?"

She takes a deep breath before relaxing. "I'm going to ask Sasuke if he could help us with protecting ourselves. Maybe he can teach you something? Or Itachi if he's allowed. I would ask Naruto but he seems oblivious to nearly everything spiritual."

I start to voice my agreement when suddenly we hear her name being called out by a familiar voice.

"Sakura-chan! Help! I think I caught your shitzowhatchamacallit!"

Turning we to see our favorite blond Idiot dash through the thankfully traffic free street and heading straight towards us. Small insect-like demons flutter away from his as if he is the plague or has a six foot circular force field surrounding him.

"Sakura-chan! Hel-Wah! W-Wh-Why are there two of you?!" he exclaims while fisting his hands through his frizzy sunshine locks, his face scrunched in confusion.

"Oh boy," I breath. This can't be good.

"I-i-i-it just talked! Omg the green haired you talked!"

Stepping out from my one armed embrace Sakura walked towards the bumbling Idiot and cups his face in her hand. Making shushing noises in hopes of calming him down like he was an over excited puppy.

After about ten seconds it works.

"S-Sakura-chan," he whispers while gulping and looking around at the curious weak demons surrounding us. "What the hell is happening to me? Yesterday I saw a faint green haired you and since then it's only gotten worse. I went home after school yesterday thinking I had a fever and passed out until this morning only to wake up seeing," he waves his arms around ridiculously, indicating to our surrounding pests. "All these things! I thought you said your illness wasn't contagious!"

"It isn't," she explains

"Then why the fuck am I seeing all these things! Why am I seeing her!" he rudely points to me.

"Hey! Be proud you get to see my sexy ass." I sassily return with a cock of my hips and crossing my arms under my breasts.

How come he can see me now? Yesterday he couldn't so what changed? All he was able to do was sense me, very poorly I must add, but what happened?

Before we can come up with something a loud chime echoes through the air.

"The warning bell! We gotta hurry otherwise we'll be late!" Naruto tugs Sakura towards the school.

"Hey! Wait a moment don't you want to find out what's going on?!" I cry out before racing after them.
