Chapter 11:

Just after she had put her dirty plate in the dishwasher, her phone rang, the display showing Shane's face.

"Shane!" she exclaimed excitedly after picking up.

"Hey Mitch! I'm sorry I didn't call sooner... Nate was being an idiot, stealing my phone," he grumbled.

"Why would he do that?" she chuckled.

"Apparently I was stalking my girlfriend too much, as if I would ever stalk you," he replied.

"Well it's nice to know you miss me too," she said.

"That I do. So how was your day?"

"It was great, seriously great. You know how I told you, that they were constantly changing plans for my tour? Well I convinced them to let me handle the stage setting and they even like what I have decided on!" she said excitedly.

"Wow, that's big Mitch. I'm so proud of you, I wish I could kiss you right now, I miss you so much..." he trailed off.

"Shane...I really wish you could too, but only three more weeks and then I'll have you back," she said trying to cheer not only him, but also herself up.

"I can't wait. Listen baby, I gotta go, but I'll call you soon, I promise. I love you," he said.

"I love you too. Take care. Bye Shane."

"I will. Love you," he said before hanging up.

Since she had nothing else to do, she decided to get ready for bed and turn in early.

The next day was her free day and she had agreed to meet up with her other camp friends, Tess, Ella and Peggy. When she arrived at the small café they were supposed to meet at, she found them already seated in the back, she gave them a small wave and quickly ordered herself some coffee and a muffin.

"Hey guys," she smiled and hugged them before sitting down next to Tess.

"So? How's it going Mitch?" Ella asked excitedly.

"Great actually - I'm close to finishing my tour preparations. I can't wait!" she gushed.

"Wow, now that's awesome – we're all coming, right girls?" Peggy asked.

"Totally," Tess said with a smile. "Hey, are you and Shane coming to Camp Rock this year or do you have a secret wedding planned?" she joked, but Mitchie blushed all the same.

"No, we're coming back. And if we were planning to get married you guys would have been invited already," she laughed.

Tess held up her hands "Just making sure, you know," she said teasingly.

"Very funny – now, what were you guys up to, I have missed a lot, haven't I?" Mitchie asked.

"I finally got a recording contract," Peggy said happily.

"That's awesome Peg!" Mitchie exclaimed.

"I kinda sorta might be dating this super hot guy named Kyle," Tess admitted.

"What? Since when? Why didn't you tell us sooner?" Ella asked.

"Calm down Ells, I just wanted to make sure we were going to last and I'm pretty sure we are, he's such a gentleman," she said in a dreamy voice.

"Aww, that's so cute! How long have you been together?" Mitchie asked.

"For about two months, he's amazing, I think I might be falling for him," Tess sighed happily.

"I'm happy for you Tess, you deserve it," Mitchie smiled and the others nodded in agreement.

After another hour of catching up, they decided to do some shopping and drove to the mall.

"Thank you Houston!" Connect 3's voices echoed through the arena, their fans screaming with excitement as their favorite band waved to them one last time, before leaving the stage.

Still on a high due to their performance, they quickly changed and went back on their bus, that was supposed to take them to the next city. They couldn't go to sleep immediately, so they decided to play some video games.

After shopping Mitchie was exhausted and settled for a relaxing bubble bath and some relaxing music. She had a photo-shoot, to get some promotional pictures for her tour, scheduled for the next day, so she needed to be up early and still look refreshed.

Just as she was sitting down to get her hair and make-up done, her phone rang. At first she considered not picking up, but when she saw that Caitlyn was calling her she decided against it.

"Caity? What's up?" she asked happily.

"Mitch... the tour is canceled, we're on our way home," Caitlyn said sadly.

"D-did something happen? Are you okay?" Mitchie asked worriedly.
