Last time: Cas was the first to speak, "Gabriel?" He asked in disbelief.

Cas tried to run over and helped Gabriel but he only succeeded in hurting himself. He had forgotten he had stiches. Dean walked over and supported Gabriel who looked like he was about to fall. He led him over to a chair and had him sit down. Gabriel looked around and saw Kevin and Cas looking at him concerned. His eyes widened as he looked at Cas, "Castiel…" He whispered.

Cas looked down ashamed, "I know." He muttered.

Dean looked between the two and frowned, "What?" He asked.

"It's Gabriel. He still has his grace but… he can't see mine anymore." Cas said, looking down. "What are you doing here Gabriel?" He asked.

"I don't know. One moment I'm perfectly fine in my little hidey hole and the next I'm face-planting into your floor." He said, rubbing his head. "Got anywhere I can lie down?" He asked his eyes fluttering.

Dean led him into the room where Sam was lying down and had him lie down on the other couch. Sam looked in disbelief as Dean helped Gabriel sit down, "Hey kiddo." Gabriel said, smiling weakly at him.

"Gabriel?" Sam asked.

"The one and only." He joked.

Dean seemed to remember something, "Hey we have two people looking for you Gabriel." Dean said.

Gabriel looked confused, "But I've been in hiding. No one could have known I was alive." He said.

Eve and James chose that moment to walk into the room. They had followed the voices. The smiles they had on their faces dropped and James grabbed Eve's arms. Eve's eyes tinted black and she bared her teeth at Gabriel, "Gabriel." She growled.

Gabriel's eyes widened, "Oh crap."

James held Eve back and whispered something to her. After that she relaxed and her eyes were back to normal, "I'm sorry." She said. "I get like that when I'm in the presence of scum." She growled at Gabriel. Dean braced himself for a fight and his eyes flicked toward the door.

"Eve." James warned.

"Shut up James." Eve growled.

Cas narrowed his eyes at them, "What are you?" He asked.

For a second Eve looked scared but that vanished as soon it appeared. She glared at Cas and crossed her arms over her chest, "What are you talking about?" She asked.

"You know exactly what I'm talking about." Cas said. "You are not... human. You're not a demon. And you're definitely not an angel. So what are you?" Cas asked again.

Dean stared at Eve as if expecting her to turn into an awful creature. She scoffed and rolled her eyes, "Our father was a son of god." She said, looking toward the sky. Her eyes glowed white with a slit of black in the middle and then they were normal. "Our mother was a spawn of Lucifer." She added, turning her head toward the ground. Her green eyes tinted black.

James rolled his eyes, "Our mother was an awful creature who wouldn't know if Hell was up or down." He said through gritted teeth.

"You're an abomination." Cas said, looking at them with disgust.

Eve stepped forward, "I would watch what you say around me. I could split you in half with the snap of my fingers, even easier with you being human." She said threateningly.

James grabbed her arm and Dean stepped in front of Cas. "Why don't we all just calm down." Dean said.

"I'm having a bit of trouble understanding this. Your mom was a demon and your dad was an angel?" Sam questioned.

"Yep." Emma said, still glaring at Gabriel.

"Why do you hate Gabriel?" Sam asked.

"Why don't you tell them Gabriel?" Emma said bitterly.

Gabriel rolled his eyes, "I was only ridding this world of the scum that hides in it." Gabriel spat at her.

Emma growled and her eyes went black again, "How dare you talk about her like that!" She screamed at him, her voice less like a person and more like an inhuman screech. James grabbed her again and touched her forehead. Emma collapsed like bag of bricks.

James glared at Gabriel, his eyes going white, the only color in them a small slit of black. "You have no right to talk about our sister like that. She was in hiding, living amongst humans like she was one of them. She wanted no part in the supernatural world and you killed her anyway. The only scum here is you." James said, his voice calm and threatening. "Emma and I are leaving. I wanted no part in this from the beginning but Emma was obsessed. I'm leaving with her while we have the chance. We're taking a car from your garage and leaving. There has been enough bloodshed, I don't want anymore. However, if you try to stop us I will have no choice but to kill you." James said, his eyes going back to their normal color. He picked Emma up bridal style and began to walk out of the room.

"Wait… James." Gabriel said. James turned back to look at Gabriel, his eyes narrowing. "Thank you." Gabriel said, looking like the words pained him.

"I'm not doing this for you. I'm doing it for Emma." James said.

"Why?" Dean asked suddenly.

"She's my sister. If you and your brother were in this situation you would do the same."

"No I know why you're doing this." Dean said, gesturing to him carrying Emma. "I mean why don't you want to kill Gabriel. You must hate him as much as she does."

"I do." James said murder clear in his eyes when he looked at Gabriel. "But I won't kill him. It's not me. I'm more like our father. More of an angel. Emma was more like our mother. She's still trying to control it." James explained. "We're leaving. She's going to wake up soon and I would prefer to be in the next state when she does." James turned and left.
