I'm so, so sorry for the long wait... It's been like three months now.
Anyways, anyone still out there? I've been really (REALLY) busy with school. But it was worth it (I'm just starting the year though), this far I'm the student with the best grades, so that gives me some time to keep working on this.

Chapter Four
The day was reaching to its end. A new sled-dog team came into the city and they were all chatting outside the Boiler Room... Or that's what Margot thought from the porch of her house.
"Excuse me, miss?", a young man said. Worry was obvious in his face.
"What is it?", Margot asked with teary-eyes. She was sick of crying but she couldn't help herself. Her daughter tried to kill herself, and she stopped her. She saved her.
"I'm sorry. My name is Ronnie, I'm the sheriff's second in command. We found this note under your daughter's pillow.", Ronnie said... then he gave her the note.
Margot read the note.
"I know what you are. Meet me at barn near school at night, or everyone will know what I know."
She read the note, over and over again. She sat once again on the porch
"I don't know what does this mean...", Margot finally said.
Then, the police officer approached her once again.
"We also found another note... The sheriff didn't give me the straight permission to show it to you, but I feel that you need to read this.", Ronnie said... and gave her another note.
"This is my daughter's writing...", Margot replied.
"Mom, I love you so much... but I don't want you to be alone...
Please, take care of Kodi... he means all to me.
Molly, I'm sorry."
"Thank you... so much, Officer Ronnie...", Margot said... some tears running down her cheek and falling on the snowed floor.
"Please, just call me Ronnie.", the man said... giving her a smile.
Outside the Boiler Room
"... but it's not Jenna's scent, right?", Steele whispered at Balto's ear, then laughed.
"Jenna, Kodi, Dusty... wait here, I need to have a word with Steele.", Balto said... and then stood on his legs once again and began to walk near the tree-line.
Steele followed him. Once the other's couldn't hear them, Balto spoke.
"Okay Steele, what do you want?"
"What do I want? I can say I want back my fame... my glory... my girl... everything I used to have in Nome", Steele replied, "But now, Balto... Now I have everything back... and no thanks to you... It may not be Nome's glory after all, but it's better than that."
"Then why are you here?!"
"I have already told you, mutt. Working business. I heard your son is lead dog on his team... for now."
"What does that even mean? Whatever you're planning Steele, it won't wor-", Balto couldn't finish his sentence.
"Hush half-breed... I suppose you are forgetting something...", Steele stated and then arched an eyebrow.
Balto let out a low sigh and lowered his ears, "What do you really want, Steele?"
"First of all, if you don't want me to tell Jenna about your... little secret... You will stay away from everybody"
At this time, the smirk on Steele's face was getting wider.
"You can't ask me to d-"
"I can, Balto... And I'm doing it...", Steele said... emphasizing on the 'I'm doing it', "Stay. Away. From everybody. Stay away from your sons, stay away from your friends, stay away from Nome."
"I... I..."
"And above all things... Stay. Away. From Jenna. I don't want you to talk to her, ever again... walk away, don't say bye to anyone, and I won't tell them"
Balto looked behind Steele, there was Jenna... the love of his life, having a talk with his son and his friend.
He kept staring at her... but he had done wrong... and he knew it... He couldn't let anyone know about it... He had to do it... for him, and for Kodi.
"How can I... how can I trust in you?", Balto asked... insecurity growing inside his being.
"That's the point, mutt... You can't trust me."
Kodi & Dusty
"... and then he let down all his team... he even tried to sabotage all the Serum run, but your father saved them... he saved the kids.", Jenna told them.
"So... this is, in some way, dad's enemy?", Kodi asked while cocking his head aside.
"It's more than that... Maybe you haven't realized yet, but that's because you don't know Steele, nor your dad as I do.", Jenna continued, "They are so different, and yet so alike at the same time. But you won't understand it now."
The sky was dark... and the moon was shining over Nome. Some citizens had already started to light on their lamps, and the ones that were on the street. Nome was beginning to shine... and to spread all it's light to the surroundings of Nome.
A few dogs were still meeting at the Boiler Room... there it was soft, and they could have warm.
Looking back to Nome's surroundings, there could be seen a dog going past the tree-lines... and one only witness watching everything...
Or was it a wolf-dog?
"Mom, have you seen dad? I thought he was with Steele.", Kodi said.
At this words, Jenna got worried instantly. The words 'have you seen dad' and 'Steele' in the same sentence didn't give her any good ideas. But then again... those words that Balto, her mate, told her once... would follow her for life.
(Flashback) Two Years Ago - Balto's Trawler
The moon light covered every inch of the old boat, the waves... hitting down. The air? Cold as it could be on a winter night, but for some dogs, it was quiet pleasantly.
Moans could be heard from the boat.
"Ohh... Balto...", a red and crème furred husky said between moans... her breath going out of her mouth and turning into white clouds of steam in the air.
This was their first time, for both... and they were enjoying it.
"Oh Jenna, you feel so warm inside, so tight...", but this was their first time, and Balto was obviously scared about how he was doing, he had ever tried this before... so he didn't know if he was harming her, or if he was going too fast, too slow, too strong...
More moans coming from Jenna cleared his mind. He was doing it the right way.
Jenna's pussy began to produce fluids... and they ran down Balto kept going back and forth on his -now- mate.
Now it was Balto's time to moan. Both were enjoying it... both were showing their love to each other.
The smell coming from the fluids entered in Balto's nostrils, making him go faster...

One week later
"Balto... I'm pregnant...", Jenna said... tearing up a little. Obviously, she wasn't ready for this.
"Then why are you crying?", Balto replied, and nudged her softly with his muzzle, asking for a nuzzle.
They both nuzzled for a time... although that time was only seconds... to them it seemed to never end.
"I'm worried Balto... what if... what if I'm not ready for this? What if you are not ready for this? You have a job as lead dog on the-"
Balto gave her a kiss, right in the lips... One way to shut her mouth, and another way to tell her something.
"Don't ever worry too much about things... but think about them as obstacles that life gives you, and somehow, you have to pass."
And with this, he kissed her again.
Present
"Mom, are you okay?", Kodi asked nudging her mother with his muzzle.
Jenna kept staring at nothing, remembering how good things were at that time... how good time she spent with her mate... and how they both handled everything...
Kodi shout at her ear
"Mom! MOM!"
Jenna sat on the snowy floor. "Yes, Kodi... I'm here.", and then smiled... "I'm sure Balto is alright... I would surely know if something would happen to him."
"Okay... let me know if you find him... I need to talk with him.", Kodi said... and then looked at Dusty, "Are you coming?".
"Annnnd, where are we going now?", Dusty asked staring at Kodi... bright in her eyes.
"To my father's boat... maybe he's here now."
"Okay... let's move... it's getting too late, and its really cold", she said... getting closer to Kodi, their bodies touching.
Kodi glanced at her and then they both started to walk towards Balto's boat.
