A/N- I am so sorry I haven't update in forever! Please forgive me! I hope you enjoy this chapter!

Travis jumped up and ran in front of Chiron as he tried to leave the cabin, "No. You can't do that. Please no! I'll do whatever you want! I'll wash the dishes! I'll clean every cabin! Hades, I'll even muck the Pegasus stalls if you will call this off!"

Chiron reached out and put his hands on both of Travis' shoulders. He stared at Travis, "I need to. You are out of control. You don't listen to me when I ask you to stop. You don't respect any of your fellow campers and look as what you just did to Mark! This cannot go on any longer. She needs to come here so I can speak to her about how to discipline you."

Travis was about to object when he heard that Chiron thought he didn't like anyone else in the camp but then he heard the word "discipline" and froze. An involuntary shiver went down his spine as he remembered his mother's way of discipline.

Chiron must not have noticed Travis freeze for soon he was pushed out of the way by the centaur and forced to the wall. The son of Hermes remained frozen until the slamming of the door brought him out of his reverie. Looking around the room he remembered Conner lying on the bed and rushed over to him.

His brother's head lolled to the side with his eyes cracked part way open. He croaked out, "What happened?"

Not wanting to worry his brother, he whispered that everything was fine and that Conner should just go back to sleep. He was all too happy to oblige. Once Travis was sure he was asleep, he crept out of the cabin. He brought his hand to cover his eyes as the sun shined brightly and began his walk to the Big House.

For some reason this walk seemed to go on forever. He heard the whispers of campers who thought they were being quiet. "What is wrong with him?" and "I'm scared" were whispered most common. Travis flinched ever so slightly every time he heard this phrases whispered.

While at camp he had tried so hard to change. He had kept in his anger. He had refrained from any type of violence. He no longer spent long nights in the gym training. He took his extra energy out doing pranks instead of training because he didn't want to be that guy anymore. He wanted to step away from his old life, the life he ran away from forever. He wanted Conner to grow up in a loving atmosphere instead of the academy like he had.

But Travis knew that the second his mother came back that this life would all be over. She would take them back. She would yell and scream at Travis until he agreed to do whatever she said and if he still refused, she would threaten Conner. That was his weakness. There was a reason that Travis pranked everyone in camp and didn't get truly close to anyone, it was because he knew that nothing good would come form being attached. Nothing good would come from having someone who could be held against him or tricked by his mother. He had learned that lesson from Lauren.

As Travis looked around at the campers, his eyes landed on the Demeter cabin in particular. Suddenly his thoughts were overrun with thoughts of Katie. He had tried so hard to not like her. He had tried so hard to ignore any feelings he had for her. But for some reason, she was always on his mind. Her long brown hair that was always tied up in a ponytail to reveal he beautiful green eyes— stop Travis! Stop! Focus. You do not like her. You do not like her! And she doesn't like you. She think's you're annoying and at most you are just a friend. Oh yeah. I got friend-zoned.

Luckily his mind was taken off of Katie because he had reached the Big House. As he walked up the steps to walk inside he heard voices. There was a cabin counselors meeting going on in there. And he wasn't told about it. That could only mean one thing: it was a meeting about him and Conner. Well now, there is only one thing to do. And that thing is to eavesdrop, because if now isn't the time to eavesdrop, when will it ever be?
