Our month with Mom and Phil had come and gone quicker than we wanted.

"I can't believe you guys are leaving tommarrow." Mom said. Bella smiled.

"I know, but we did have fun." She said. Mom smiled.

"Yeah, we did." She said.

Later that night, Bella and I were walking around the neighborhood, when a red porsh pulled up beside us. Bella looked at me, then back at the car. Suddenly, Alice and Rosalie jumped out of the car and rushed towards us.

"Alice, Rosalie? What are you doing here?" I asked. They had a look of fear on their face.

"We know we have no right to ask you for anything, but, we need your help." Alice said. Rosalie looked at me.

"It's Edward." She said.

"Tessa has no obligation to your brother anymore." Bella said. I took her hand, gently squeezing it.

Swallowing the lump in my throat, I looked at Rosalie, "What's wro-" I was stopped by Rosalie.

"He's gone to the Voltori." Rosalie said. I felt my body run cold and my heart accelerate.

"The Voltori? What's that?" Bella asked.

"Not what, who. They are like royalty, they make the rules for our kind." Alice said. I looked at Rosalie.

"Why?" The only word that escaped my lips.

"He's trying to convince them to...to kill him." Rosalie said.

"Why does he want them to kill him?" Bella asked. They looked at me.

"He doesn't want to live without you. Losing you, he lost any and every reason to live. " Rosalie said.

A small gasp escaped my lips. I forced back tears, and stood up straight.

"You have to stop him." Alice said.

"She doesn't have to do anything. Why can't you stop him? He's your brother." Bella snapped softly.

"Don't you think we know that already?" Rosalie hissed at her.

"Bella's right. I mean, we're no longer together. What can I do?" I asked. Rosalie stepped closer to me.

"Come with us. Come to Italy and help us save our brother." Rosalie said.

"How? If he won't listen to any of you, what makes you think he will listen to me? You're his family." I said.

"He Loves You. You can convince him not to go through with this. I know this is a lot to ask after everything we did to you, but he's my brother. You're the only one who can save him." Alice said.

"She can't go to Italy." Bella said. Rosalie looked at me.

"Tessa, please. I don't want to lose my brother." She pleaded, her voice cracking.

I looked at her and Alice and could see how desperate they were to save their brother. I loved Edward more than I've ever loved anyone, and I still do. I didn't want him to get himself killed. I couldn't go on knowing I'm the reason he ended his life. I looked at my sister.

"I have to go." I said.

"No, you don't. You owe him nothing." She said. I took her hands in mine.

"I know, but I can't let him do this, I can't let them lose a member of their family. If I can save him, I'm going to do so" I said. She looked into my eyes and sighed.

She groaned, "Fine." I pulled her into a hug.

"I love you." I said.

"I love you too." She said, pulling away.

"I don't mean to rush, but we have to hurry. They denied his wish and now he's trying to find a way to provoke them." Alice said. I looked at Bella.

"Tell mom and Phil I love them." I said. Rosalie then hesitantly took my hand. We then moved towards the car and got inside. Bella came to my window.

"Be safe." She said.

"I will." I said. She then looked at Rosalie and Alice.

"Take care of my sister." She said.

"With our life." Alice said.

"And tell Edward if he hurts my little sister again, 'I' will kill him myself." She said.

"Will do." Alice said, before pulling off.

We would be arriving in Italy in one hour and I was freaking out on the inside.

"What if we don't make it in time?"I asked, looking down at my hands. The both of them took my hand.

"We will. He's stuck on whether he should expose us, or come back for you." Alice said. I sighed.

"I can't go on, knowing he gave up his life because of me." I said. They gently squeezed my hands.

"We will not lose him. You will not lose him." Rosalie said.

"I already have." I said.

"Not forever." Alice said.

Once the plane landed, Alice found us a car, and we were off to find the man I was still deeply inlove with. As Rosalie continued to drive, Alice began to have a vision. After her vision was over, she looked at me.

"What is it?" I asked, fear running up my spine.

"He's made a decision." She said.

"What is it?" Rosalie asked.

"He's decided to provoke the Voltori into killing him." She said.

"How? What's he going to do?" Rosalie asked.

"Expose himself to the humans. He's going to go out into the sunlight." She said, paniced.

"Where is he?" Rosalie asked my unspoken question. I was paralized with fear.

"Walking amongst the humans. He has on a black hoodie." She said.

"We have to push him into an alley." Alice said.

"And that's where you come in Tessa. You have to convince him to stay alive." Rosalie said. I nodded my head, afraid if I opened my mouth I would scream.

About five minutes later, we pulled over behind a crowd of people dressed in red and black robes.

"Look for a black hoodie." Alice said, as we jumped out of the car.

"Okay. I'll take Tessa with me incase you find him first." Rosalie said taking my hand. I looked at Alice.

"Please, find him." I said. She nodded.

"I will. I promise." She said, before disappearing into the crowd.

Rosalie and I searched and searched until she stopped to listen.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Alice found him." She said. Before I could say anything, she had me in her arms and was off towards where I'm guessing they were. She ran to fast for any human to see.

We stopped at the entrance of an alley, where she put me down and made her way deeper into the dark alley. I could see and hear the three of them talking, the girls begging Edward to reconsider.

"Edward, you can't do this." Alice said.

"Why not?" He growled.

"It would kill Esme." She said.

"We're already dead." He said.

"What about Elizabeth? Did you think about what this would do to her?" Rosalie asked. He seemed to stiffen at the sound of my name.

"She's better off without me putting her life in danger." He said.

The moment those words slipped from his lips, something in me snapped. How could he just up and decide what's dangerous for me? He can't do that. How could he do that? I thought he loved me.

"You can't just make those kind of decisions for her." Alice said.

"I can when her life is on the line." He said.

"Edward, please. Come back home." Rosalie pleaded.

"There's nothing left for me in Forks. Elizabeth doesn't love me anymore. I've destroyed any and all faith she had in me. She loves Jacob Black." He said.

"As a friend. Jacob's with Bella, not Tessa." Alice said.

"It doesn't matter. I've lost the one thing worth my existance." He said.

I stepped out from the shadows and made myself visible, angry tears in my eyes. I was angry, pissed at him. All the anger that had built up over the past year was seeping through the cracks of my heart.

"You bastard!" I snapped, moving closer to him. I was about to punch him, but Rosalie wrapped her arm around my waist to hold me back.

"You have no right! No right to talk about me. To make decisions about my life!" I snapped, struggling against Rosalies' hold.

"What gave you the right to decide you and your family were to dangerous for me!?" I snarled.

"Victoria almost killed you. I couldn't risk that again. I had to protect you, and the only way to do that ws by leaving." He said.

"What about us? Did you forget that?" I growled.

"No, ofcourse not." He said, stepping closer.

"Then why did you leave without saying goodbye to me to my face? You didn't even have the heart to wake me up and tell me. I had to wake up and find out from my sister." I screamed.

"I screamed, I yelled, I cried and I blamed her for you leaving!" I snapped, tears almost spilling.

"Elizabeth, I'm sorry." He said.

"Sorry?" I said, tears falling over.

"I loved you, Edward! And you broke my heart. For seven months my heart continued to break, to crumble for you. I prayed you'd come back, that I'd wake up and this would all be just a bad dream, and you know what?" I asked, standing up straight, moving out of Rosalies embrace.

"I never woke up. And you never came back for me. So, I did everything I could to move on, to convince myself that I no longer loved you, that I could let you go, but I didn't, I couldn't." I said.

"Then I started to think. Maybe he never even loved me. That maybe I was just a human toy for him to use then despose of. I mean, who was I kidding? I was just some human who's blood smelled good, and he was a beautiful vampire. How could he ever truly love me?" I said, laughing bitterly, more tears coming.

"That is not true!" He snapped, coming closer.

"I love you more than my own life. You mean everything to me! I've never loved someone the way I love you. Don't you ever say or think I just wanted you for your blood or saw you as something I could easily despose of. Ever." He snapped.

"What was I suppose to think? I woke up in the hospital alone, with you no where to be found! I didn't want to live anymore Edward! To live in a world where I couldn't be with you! The only reason I didn't take my life was because of Jacob." I said.

"When I was with him, my heart didn't hurt as much. I could deal with the pain of losing you. It was bareable. He made me feel like I could move on, that I could finally let you go, and I did. I had let you go and moved on. Then you show up back in Forks, and all of the anger, betrayal, and pain came flooding back." I cried.

"I pretended that your return didn't affect me, but it did, but I couldn't let you know I still loved you. And I was doing a pretty good job at making you all believe I was fine, that I was better without you in my life. Then Alice and Rosalie show up in Arizona, telling me that you were trying to get yourself killed." I snapped. He glared at his sister.

"You never should have dragged her into this." He snarled.

"We couldn't let you go through this." Alice cried.

"They didn't drag me into anything, Edward. Just because we were no longer together, didn't mean I was going to sit back and let you get yourself killed. I mean, what were you thinking? The Voltori, really?" I asked.

"I didn't want to live without you." He said.

"Edward, you say that as if I were dead. I'm right here. You never should have even let death cross your mind." I said.

"What was I suppose to do? I'd lost the only reason to exist." He said, lowering his head.

"Fight!" I snapped. He looked up at me.

"You should have fought for me! Try and gain back my trust, my faith, my love. Do something to make me fall back inlove with you again. Not try and get yourself killed!" I cried, pounding my fist into his chest.

"Do you not love me anymore?" I cried.

"No! I do Love You. I never stopped loving you." He said. I then looked up at him.

"Then come back. Come back for them," I said.

"For me." I said.

We were on the flight back to Forks, Washington. I let out a yawn.

"You should get some sleep. We have seven hours before we get to Forks." Edward said.

"I can't sleep." I said, looking at him.

"If I close my eyes, I'll have nightmares." I said.

"About what?" He asked.

"You leaving again." I said. Pain filled his eyes.

"I'm not going anywhere. I will never leave you again." He said. I lowered my head.

"I'm having a hard time believing you." I said.

"Try." He said.

"How do I know that the next time you talk to my sister, you won't up and leave, again?" I asked, looking over at him. He leaned closer.

"I won't. I know what it's like to lose the one you love. I won't go through that again." He said. I continued to stare into his eyes.

"I need time." I said.

"I can wait forever." He said. I smiled softly. Another yawn escaped my lips.

"Elizabeth, please. Get some sleep." He said.

"Okay." I said.

Edward P.O.V.

Instead of laying down on the planes couch, she moved closer to me, laying donw nad resting her head in my lap.

"Edward?" She said, softly.

"Yes?" I replied.

"Don't let me wake up alone." She said.

"I'm not going anywhere." I said.

"Promise?" She asked.

"I promise." I said. She then made her self comfortable. She must have been really tired because her breathing slowed after five minutes.

I had began to stroke her hair down, when Rosalie spoke.

"She still loves you." She said. I looked up at my sister.

"She want's to forgive you, but she's to scared of getting her heart broken again." She said.

"I will never hurt her like that again." I said.

"It's not us you need to convince." Alice said. I looked down at the woman I loved more than my own life.

"I hurt her. The one thing I promised not to do." I said.

"Edward." Rosalie called. I didn't look at her.

"Edward, look at me." She said. I slowly lifted my head. If I could cry, my eyes would be filled with tears.

"Fight for her. Don't stop fighting until she has nothing left to forgive, until she's yours again. She may not have said it out loud, but she wants you to fight for her, even if she has everything to lose. You can't let Bella stop you two from being together." She said.

"How do I do that? I know Bella and Charlie hates me. They will never allow me to be near her, nor will Jacob." I said.

"I don't know about Charlie and Jacob, but Bella, I think she already knows there is a possibility of the two of you reconciling." She said.

"What makes you think that?" I asked her.

"Before we left to come get you, she told us to tell you if you hurt her sister again, she would kill you herself." She said. A soft chuckle escaped my lips. I then looked down at Elizabeth.

"If I ever hurt her again, she would be the first person I call." I said.

"She loves you, Edward. More than she's letting on." Alice said. I smiled down at her.

"I love you." I whispered to her, before kissing her hair.

Tessa P.O.V.

I was awaken by the frantic sounds of Charlie and Bella.

"Why hasn't she waken up? What did you do to my little girl?" Dad snarled.

" I didn't do anything. She went to sleep on the plane, and didn't wake up when I tried to wake her." Edwards voice echoed through my ears.

"It's been a week, and she still hasn't waken up." Bella snapped.

"I told you not to let anything happen to her." She snapped again.
