Twilight Sparkle decides to try a new spell she found in Star Swirl the Bearded's lost diary. When she opens an inter-dimensional portal to Middle Earth, things get out of hoof. Soon, Sauron's minions are running free on Equestria, and it comes down to the Mane Six and the Fellowship to stop them! I do not own anything, just to be clear.

8. Author's Note

Hello Tolkiens and Bronies alike,

As people may have noticed, this fanfiction has been on hiatus. This is because it has come under fire by the folks at fimfiction. Because of that, I have decided to scrap the fanfic over there and replace it with a better one.

My question is thus: Do you guys want me to continue the present fanfiction on this site? (Bear in mind, updates will be much slower than the early days of this story.) If there is no reply, I will assume that people do NOT want me to continue this fan fiction, so I will scrap it.

Bear in mind, no matter what you decide, I will work on a new and improved LotR and MLP crossover, and that will take priority over this one.

May the Valor, Princess Celestia, and/or Princess Luna ever guide you.

EDIT: Alright! Chill! Geez, I thought I asked about discontinuing a fanfic, not "should I assassinate the Princesses?"!

Due to popular demand, the story shall continue! I hope to have the next chapter out in a week, maybe a little more.
