A/N: Hey guys! It's been a while hasn't it? I've been a little preoccupied with school, so… yah… enjoy!
"When Destiny calls you, you must be strong… I may not be with you, but you have to hold on…" ~ Phil Collins
Whack! Whack!
A stuffed dummy head went flying as Lea's keyblade came into contact with it. Slam! Another. Skish! An arm sailed through the air. KaPOOF! The entire thing exploded in a mass of straw.
Sweating profusely, Lea leaned back and let out a sigh. Beating up training dummies was good for relieving stress, but it didn't solve his problems. His memories were almost completely back now… not that they did him any good. She was gone, wasn't she?
Axel, please… you have to let go now… or else… look!
Lea flinched. It'd been two years. He still couldn't let go. Xion had been such a good friend to him, maybe – he dared to think – better than Roxas had. And then he'd forgotten all about her. How could he let go after that?
We'll never be apart as long as we remember each other.
"But we are apart…" he muttered. His hand pressed weakly against his chest, feeling the beat of his heart. A tear slid down his face. Her voice echoed in his head.
Please don't hold back, Axel. Promise.
His hands clenched. "Xion… I will bring you back."
