Takuya's POV
"Okay guys, you all have to swim 5 rounds!" Our P.E. teacher yelled at us. It was his normal way of 'speaking'. I think I never heard him talking in a calm or quite way before. Anyway, I was getting deaf because of him.
The class went one by one into the pool. I looked around for Mike but he was nowhere to be found.
Aish, where is this guy? The last time I saw him was at break time. I thought. Then it was my turn to jump into the pool.
"Faster Miyako! You're too slow for the others!" The teacher yelled again and my ear drums were about to explode. "TAKUYA!"
"Yes sir?" Gosh, it feels like we're in the military.
"Where's Mikey?"
"Actually his name is Mike!" I replied and I accidently swallowed some water.
"You didn't answer my question!" He yelled ignoring my reply.
"I don't know where he is!" I yelled back. Am I Mike's babysitter?
"You should know that since he's your boyfriend!"
I gasped. What did he just say? I turned my head to look at him and his expression was serious. My class mates started to laugh their souls out. I immediatly stopped swimming and gave them death glares.
"What's so funny? Love is love. It doesn't depend on the gender." Yelled the teacher and everyone stopped laughing and gave him weird looks. "You can come out Takuya." He said to me.
I angrily climbed out of the pool and walked towards my teacher. Why the hell did he say that? If I wouldn't be so scared of him I would have smacked him in the face.
"I'm sorry but I thought they knew it already." He said in a calm voice which caught me by surprise.
Knew what?
"I overheard how your friends said that you kissed Mike. So I guessed you two are a couple. There's nothing wrong with being gay."
"BUT I'M NOT GAY!" I cut in, anger filled my voice.
Thanks Davis...
Everyone stared at us after I let my anger out. By looking at their faces I could see that they were trying to hold in their laughter. Idiots...
"I know it's kinda embarrassing for you now. Everyone will look at you in a different way now. But as long you are happy, everything will be fine. At first I felt the same as you. I didn't want anybody to know that..." At this point I stopped listening to him.
Is he still believing that I'm gay? God...how am I supposed to get out of this?
"I...have a girlfriend." I lied because I thought it's the only way to get out of this stupid situation.
"Ehh what?" He asked when I interrupted his non-sense talk.
"I have a girlfriend. Mike's sister to be exact." Okay, I don't know why I added that.
"Uh-huh? So you are really not gay?" He asked me again to prove that he heard right.
"Yup as I said. Now can we drop the topic?" I hoped that we can all forget about it.
"Sure...LISTEN EVERYONE! Takuya has a girlfriend, so he's not gay. My mistake, sorry. Mike's sister must be lucky to have a boyfriend like him." My teacher yelled to my class. I facepalmed myself.
Now everyone thinks that I date the sister of a good friend. Dammit! But it's still better than being called a gay. Man...if Mike finds out about this. Wait...It's actually his fault that we kissed! So he can't blame me for this.
Mike's (Zoe) POV
"WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN IN P.E CLASS?" An angry Takuya shouted at me.
"I didn't feel well so I went to the nurse's room." I lied but I had no other choice. Takuya looked pretty angry, I wonder what happened to him.
"The teacher was furious! AND he embarressed me in front of the class! It's all your fault!" He gave me one last angry glare and then stormed off.
What have I done?
"Wait, Takuya! What happened?" I ran after him but he didn't stop walking.
"Stay the hell away from me!" He didn't even look at me. I stopped following him and looked after him until he was out of my sight.
I don't understand anything right now. Boys...
A week went by and Takuya was still ignoring me. I kept asking him what's wrong but he wouldn't tell me. So I asked some class mates and they finally told me what happened in P.E class. I have to admit that must have been very embarrassing for Takuya. And I really feel bad for him.
"I'm really sorry Takuya. Please forgive me." I apologized once again. It felt like the 100th apologize but he still wouldn't forgive me.
"Come on Takuya. He's really sorry." Davis said. It was lunch time so we all sat at one table.
"What about you? It's your fault too, Davis." Takuya pointed out. True...
"Yah, I'm sorry. I won't spread any rumors about you anymore." Davis promised him.
"Well, ok. But Mike...You own me 3 wishes." Takuya said and finally looked at me. I simply nodded.
"And my first wish is...please don't be angry at me." He said and looked down.
Angry? For what?
"What do you mean?" I asked cluelessly.
"Our class thinks that your sister is my girlfriend." I looked at Takuya as if he was a ghost.
"W-Why are they thinking that?" I asked nervously.
"Well,...I might have said something which made them think that..." He explained while playing with the food on his plate.
"Hhhmmm...Okay, I don't care." I shrugged it off and started to eat my food. When I looked at Takuya again he seemed kind of relieved.
It was his wish...
Takuya's POV
We were walking towards our next class. Mike wasn't with us because he needed to go to the restroom.
"Hey Takuya...Don't you think there's something fishy about Mike?" Takato asked out of the blue.
"What do you mean? Sure, sometimes he can be rare but there's nothing wrong with it." I answered.
"I just have a weird feeling when I see him. He seems different." He said to me.
"He seems alright to me. I don't know what you're talking about." I replied confused. I know that Takato doesnt mean it in a bad way.
"TAKUYA!" I suddenly heard a familiar voice. I turned around only to see Mike running towards us. "That's for you. I forgot to give it to you earlier." He said and showed me a bracelet.
"What is that?" I asked a bit dumb.
"Are you blind? That are best friend bracelets! One for you and one for me." He said and gave one of them to me. I blinked a few times. Usually girls do these kind of things.
Hhhmm...maybe it was Zoe's idea.
"Uuuh...Thanks?" I still was a bit dumbfounded but I wore the bracelet anyway. I guess we're best friends now, huh?
I noticed that Takato was staring strangely at us but I shrugged it off. I mean Mike is alright, or isn't he?
I was standing in front of Mike's house when I was ringing the door bell. This guy left his mathematics book at school and as a caring best friend I wanted to bring it over to him so he can study for the upcoming exam next week.
Or maybe I hoped to see Zoe again...
As if god was listening to my thoughts the door opened and revealed a fresh showered Zoe. When she realized it's me who was standing in her doorway she looked quiet shocked but her face softened after some seconds.
Her hair was wet from the shower I guess. Oh god...this girl is a natural beauty. Ugh! Stop it Takuya. You came here to give Mike his books!
"Uhh hey Zoe! I just wanted to bring Mike his mathematics book because he left it at school!" I rubbed the back of my neck. My heart started to race when I just looked at her.
What is this feeling? Argh! You know damn well what that feeling is, Takuya! Don't act dumb. I argued with myself.
"Ohh...You didn't have to do that but I think Mike is thankful for that. Unfortunately he's not home at the moment...So, I will just give it to him." She gave me a bright smile which made my heart melt.
"Yeah that's totally fine." I said after I stared at her beautiful face for a while.
I handed her the book and when she reached her arm out to take the book, I saw it. This bracelet... The best friend bracelet. It's the exact same one as Mike's!
She took the book and glared at me. She might be confused because the next thing she said was: "Are you alright? You look pretty shocked."
"Oh yeah, I'm fine. But..." I hesitated for a moment. "Where did you get that bracelet." I asked and pointed at her arm. Her expression changed.
