Zen woke up with a start, in the process falling of the bunk he was on.
"Ugh, stupid beds." Zen cursed as he tried to push himself, only managing to roll himself over to his back.
"Where is my—Oh, yeah, stupid assassins." He sighed, and sat up, then looked around.
"Where the hell am I?" He asked himself.
The door opened and a tall man with black hair opened it.
"Hey you're awake." The man spoke.
Before the man could say anything else, he found self on the ground. He looked at the door to see Zen sprinting through the door.
"Well, Diana is going to kill me." The man spoke.
Zen rounded a corner to found another man standing there, he was tall just like the first man, but this man was blond with a trident in his hands.
"Hey, you can't be up and around." The man spoke raising his hand trying to stop Zen.
Zen shoulder checked the man and rammed a door open and found himself outside, surrounded by people. The first two people came up behind him.
"Clark, Arthur, why is he up and walking? My orders were to keep in his room." A tall female asked as she strode up to the two.
"Where am I? Where is Jake?" Zen asked, slowly slipping into a loose fighting stance.
"Relax, Zen." Spoke the lady.
"How do you know my name?"
"Your friends told me." She said simply.
"What?" The one armed man asked.
"Let me explain, we are a group of survivors, just like you. I was out on a supply run when I heard an explosion. I followed the cloud of smoke to a battleground, there were some bodies surrounding an ice dome. When I got close the dome started to collapse, and I saw you and someone else's bodies lying in the middle of the dome. I jumped through a hole in the wall and checked the pulses on both of you. There was a pulse for both of you, I picked you up and grabbed your sword, I was about to grab the other one when I heard shouting and sniper fire, so I panicked and started to run away." She elaborated.
"Before you left, did you catch a glimpse of who was coming towards us?" The Mandalorian asked.
"I think it was a tall man with a mask and a bird, and a blond teenaged girl. I might be wrong." She said as she rubbed her wrist, uncomfortable with the gaze Zen was sending her.
The minute she said who it was, Zen sighed in relief and spoke, "Oh thank god, it was my friends. Now that I know you're a friend I will ask for your names."
"It's rude to ask someone's name before giving your own." Spoke a redheaded male, who seemed to be full of energy.
"Barry, we already know his name." Laughed a man with brown hair and green eyes.
"Anyways the two you passed on the way out were, Clark, and Arthur." She said as she pointed to the black haired one and blond one, respectably.
Clark stood at around 6'2 and had a lot of muscles, like a ton. His eyes were a blue He was wearing a pair of jeans and a black t-shirt that had a red 'S' in the middle of a red diamond. Clark was wearing a pair of combat boots.
Arthur stood at 6'3 in a golden hoodie, and green sweat pants. On his feet was a pair of combat boots.
"I'm Barry as you might have heard." Spoke the energetic redhead.
Barry was 5'11 in a red long sleeve shirt, with red cargo shirts. On his feet were red running shoes; in the center of his shirt was a lightning bolt in a circle of white.
"I'm Hal." Spoke the green-eyed brunette. He was around 6'0. He wore a pair of green sweats and a tattered green hooded cloak that covered his shirt.
"I am John." Spoke a man who had red eyes, and slightly green skin strangely enough.
He was around 6'1 and was in a black shirt that had two red bandoliers forming an 'X' on the center of his chest. He had on plain black trousers, and had no shoes on revealing that the strange pigmentation went down his entire body.
"Name's Billy." Spoke a man 6'5 with black hair and a lightning bolt tattoo on the right side of his face, going from above his eyebrow and down to his chin.
He was wearing a red hoodie with a white hood. He was wearing black sweats and had on black combat boots. His hoodie had a cloud with a lightning bolt coming from it on hiss hoodie.
"My name is Oliver." Spoke a blond man around 6'0 with a goatee, and green eyes.
The man was wearing a green hoodie and green pants. He had on a pair of running shoes.
"My name is Victor, Nice to meet ya!" Chirped a large black man, who was mostly made of metal. The huge man stood at a staggering height of 7'0.
"Bruce." Spoke a tall man with black hair, and black eyes.
The man was wearing a grey long sleeve shirt and a pair of black sweats. On his feet were sandals, which Zer0 would like. On his chest was a bat symbol.
"And finally my name is Diana, we also have some people out on missions right now. I'll introduce them when they return, but for the next week you are our guest."
She stood at 6'4 had black hair, and was wearing a pair of basketball shorts and a hoodie that had a 'W' stacked on top of another 'W'.
"Ok. Uh do you guys have an area to train in?" Zen asked.
"Yeah I will lead you over there, but first come over here." Victor said.
Zen nodded and walked over to him as the large man's hand glowed blue and scanned Zen's body.
"Ok. I will have you a new arm by sundown." The Cyborg spoke as he walked in a direction.
"You don't have to do that." Zen said as he followed and everyone else dispersed to go do their stuff.
"Oh I insist." He replied as he typed on a holographic keyboard.
"Uh, ok." Zen said as they arrived at the training ground.
"I will leave you to it then." The half man half machine said as he walked to his little area.
"These guys are pretty cool." Zen said to himself as he started to train.
-Several hours later-
Zen took a break from his training as he looked up at the sun, only to his surprise to see it about to set.
"Wow, time flies."
Zen picked up his discarded equipment and started to walk back the way he came. Once he reached the main area he saw three new faces. One had grey hair and an eye patch he was talking to Ollie.
The other one had black hair and blue eyes and was talking to Bruce.
The last one was talking to Hal; he had black skin, green eyes, and black hair.
Zen looked at all of the newcomers. The man with the eye patch was around 6'1 slightly taller than Oliver; he was wearing a blue hoodie and a pair of orange sweats. He had on grey boots. On his back were a serrated sword and a generic assault rifle.
The one talking to Bruce had on the same thing as Bruce, except instead of the bat he had a blue bird shape. He was around 6'1 in height.
The last one was 6'0 and was wearing a green jacket and a pair of green shorts on he was wearing green running shoes.
"Hey, Zen!" Victor called out as he walked up to the one armed Mandalorian.
The others turned to look at Zen.
"I finished your arm!" He said confidently.
"Wow, that was, uh that was fast."
"Yeah, I had nothing better to do." The Cyborg said as he rubbed the back of his head.
"Let's see it!" Zen all but shouted.
-A week later with the Crimson Raiders-
"Axton put Gaige's hammer down before she summons Death Trap, again." Maya sighed as she turned the page in her book, while also snuggling closer to Krieg.
"Aw, your no fun." Salvador said from his spot on the couch.
"Guys, I can hear you arguing all the way down at Moxxi's." Lilith said as she walked into the main room.
"Love you too." Jake said as he walked down the stairs.
"So this is what happens when I am gone." Zen said from the doorway.
"Zen! Oh, we forgot to come get you didn't we?" Krieg said as he rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment.
"Yup, don't worry about it, I did bring our new friends though."
A group of people walked in and formed a line next to Zen.
"This is Clark, Arthur, Barry, Hal, John, Billy, Oliver, Victor, Bruce, Diana, Slade, Dick, and uh, John." Zen introduced pointing to each one as he said their name.
"You can call me Stewart so it is not too confusing." The second John offered.
"Hate to interrupt but we got an urgent mission." Roland called down the stairs to them.
The now very large group went up stairs, and walked into the debriefing room.
"Roland, what is going on?" Lilith asked taking her position next to him.
"Our power core is about to die, we must get a new one within the next 48 hours."
"I may have a lead on where to find one." Angel interrupted, "There are some being stored in a Hyperion warehouse on the outskirts of Bishop Island."
"Bishop Island? I have never heard of it." Dick spoke to Bruce, but Angel heard him.
"That is because it is on one of the only parts of Pandora that has water. It doesn't have any Fast Travel stations so you have to get there manually." She clarified "But it is heavily fortified so you are going to have to be either very quit or kill all of the employees before they hit the alarm."
"Or we can have a large assault team and a group of maybe three or four people sneak in and grab some while everyone is distracted." Bruce suggested.
"Either way you can only get there by boat." Angel said.
"Why can't we-"
"WE GET TO BE PIRATES?! AWESOME!" Zen cried out only to be hit in the back of the head by Jake.
"SHUT UP YOU IDIOT, LILITH WAS TALKING!" Jake yelled at him.
"HEY SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Zen yelled back.
"BRING IT YOU ONE ARMED ASSHOLE!"
"YOUR ON!"
WHACK.
PUNCH.
The group looked over to see Zen and Jake on the ground with giant lumps on their heads, courtesy of Maya and Lilith respectably.
"As I was saying, why can't we go by plane?" Lilith said.
"They have massive anti-air guns. They wouldn't expect you to go by boat so that's the only way you can get there."
"The stealth team is going to be Zen, Lilith, and Jake. Everyone else is on the Assault team." Roland said, his commander voice making another appearance.
"Yes sir, when do we leave?" Axton asked.
"Now."
-Night. On the boat-
"So is everyone clear on the plan?" Roland asked as he loaded his assault rifle.
"Yes sir!" Came a chorus of replies.
"Zen. Change. Now." Jake said as he resisted the urge to murder his best friend.
"My name ain't Zen, Landlubber!" Said Zen as he stood there in a stereotypical pirate outfit.
"Zen." Lilith said, making the man look at her.
"Change or I'll kill you." She said with a smile on her face.
"Uh, Ye-Yes Ma'am." He stammered as he ran out of the room only to return a minute later in a full black hooded cape, a black skintight long sleeve shirt, a pair of black ninja pants. He was barefoot, but had black medical tape around the arch of his foot and it wrapped all the up under his pants leg.
"Zen. Why are you barefoot?" Jake asked with a sigh.
"Oh I just couldn't find any shoes that don't make noise." He said. Causing everyone to sweat drop.
"Whatever just gear up." Lilith said as she adjusted her harness holding a Maliwan SMG.
Her, Jake and Zen were the only ones wearing black, due to them being on the stealth team, everyone else was wearing their normal attire.
Zen nodded and walked over to his bow and slung it over his shoulder to where the string ran diagonally down his chest. He walked out the door and came back with two items. His quiver, full of arrows, and a new sword; He strapped the sword to the right side of his waist.
"Ready?" he asked as he opened the hatch that leads to the top of the boat.
Lilith and Jake nodded and went to the top after Zen.
"Lilith we can't use guns, if we do get spotted we have to kill them quietly." Jake explained as they climbed to the top of the stairs.
"But don't you have a gun on you?" She asked, not comfortable fighting without a gun.
He shook his head no and walked a little faster showing that he had on a black pair of shoes, black pants, a black long sleeve shirt with dark blue, almost purple, lightning going down the right arm. He had on a bulletproof vest over the shirt. On his face was a pair of thermal glasses as he had explained earlier. She caught herself blushing at the sight of his muscled arms through the sleeves.
"Hey you comin?" Jake asked, snapping her you of her thoughts.
"Yeah." She replied as she put her gun into her SDU.
They reached the top to find Zen standing there looking out at the Island, he turned to face them, "Lilith where is your weapon?"
She blushed in embarrassment; "I don't have one, because I can't use guns due to the part where we have to be stealthy." She at least had the decency to look sheepish.
Zen stared at her, like he was concentrating really hard. Zen looked her up and down, while also taking in what she was wearing. She was wearing black boots, tight black pants, she had a dark orange undershirt and a black long sleeve over shirt.
"Tonfas, Preferably bladed ones." He said after what seemed like an eternity.
"What?" She asked only to be cut off by Jake.
"Gotcha." Jake responded as he clapped then threw his hands onto the deck of the ship.
Two blades slowly rose from the deck, they had a handle about a forth of the way from the non-pointy side.
She looked back at the two as they gestured to the strange weapons.
She picked them up and spun them around a little, to her surprise she seemed like a natural at them.
"How did you guys know that?" She asked the ex-Hyperion prisoners.
"I'm just that good." Zen replied with a smirk as he looked back out at the Island.
The Island looked to be about 19 miles long and was 5 miles wide, and all along the perimeter of the island was a wall around 100 feet tall and had guards walking along the top of it.
"That is a huge wall." Jake said.
"All the better to bring down." Hal said as he walked up next to them, "All ready to go, just give us the signal."
"All right lets go!" Zen exclaimed as he jumped off the boat, they all looked over the edge to see him standing on a platform of ice.
"You comin?" He called up to them.
Jake chuckled to himself then jumped down, causing it to rock a little.
"Uh, no thanks I'm good up here!" She called back. She never told anyone but she had seasickness. The main reason she wasn't felling it now is because it was such a huge ship it didn't sway in the water.
She gasped as she felt someone push her forward, as she fell she turned to see who pushed her only to see Mordicai standing there whistling to himself with a smile on his face.
She fell at a rapid pace and she was about to brace for a rough landing only to feel a pair of arms grab her gently.
"I gotcha." Jake said with a soft smile.
"Hey, Lovebirds! Get a room or stop flirting and come on! The core ain't gonna steal itself!" Zen called to them.
They both blushed as Jake put her down gently. The followed after him as he made his ice bridge. They reached the wall and Lilith tapped the communicator in her ear and gave the rest of the group the go ahead.
BOOM
"That's our queue." Zen said as he froze the wall and kicked it, shattering the frozen part to pieces.
"I thought that this was a stealth mission?" Lilith exclaimed as she looked around the room they were in, gripping her Tonfas nervously.
"Even if there was people in this room, they wouldn't be able to make it out alive." Zen said as he looked around.
"Jake where is your weapon?" Lilith asked just noticing he didn't have one.
He just patted his thigh in response. She glanced down to see a tanto strapped to his leg.
"Turn left" Angel guided them.
After walking for the next 20 minutes the came across a large storeroom. They walked into the storeroom only to come face to face with a large group of enemies.
"Ha-ha! We have you now, you bandit scum!" Exclaimed one of the engineers in the front of the group.
The three Vault Hunters got a good look at how many of them there were; Around 300 of them in total.
"Ill take the 150 on the left if you got right." Zen said to Jake.
"Done."
"What about me?" Lilith interrupted.
"Look for the core while me and Zen handle these chumps." Jake said as he glanced back at her.
"I can handle myself." She tried to reason.
"Trust me, me and Zen got a little steam to blow off." Jake said as he grabbed his dagger.
She looked at the dagger in his hand, it was of a simple design it hand a black handle but the blade was split right down the middle, leaving a 1-inch gap in-between the blades.
"Fastest time wins?" Jake asked as he spun the knife a couple of times.
"Deal, Angel, could you start the timer when I say so?" Zen asked as he gripped the handle to his sword.
"Um, I guess." The 'AI' said meekly.
"Good, start in 5"

The minute he hit zero everything went to hell. The two Mandalorians shot forward at a speed that would make Sonic green with envy.
While the two were slaughtering the Hyperion men, Lilith was jogging around looking for the correct one when Angel chimed in, "Grab the purple one! My sensors tell me it is one-of-a-kind. With it you may never have to charge Sanctuary shield's again!"
"That's amazing!" Lilith exclaimed as she retraced her steps back to the main area only to see a blood soaked duo talking.
"I win Zen!" Jake laughed as he wiped blood off of his face.
"Yeah by like .003 of a second!" Zen complained as he flicked the blood off of his sword."
"Guys! We need help in the courtyard, they have some huge guys, and we need all the help we can get!" Axton's voice came to live over the ECHO.
"On our way! Angel, which way is the courtyard!" Lilith yelled into her communicator.
"Left!" Came the reply.
"Jake get us there now!" She screeched out to him.
He nodded and formed a huge plow, "Zen kick it!"
The brunette nodded and kicked the plow as hard as he could. Which keep in mind is really hard. The construction flew through the walls, demolishing everything in their path.
-With everyone else-
The assault had started out good; then Hyperion brought out these huge loaders that were throwing all of the Vault hunters around. The group was lying on the ground; they looked up and saw the towering figures of the HLK loader and the SPD loader. The HLK was around 40 feet tall and had no weapons, but it had incredibly thick armor, so no damage was being done to it. The fact it had to hit them was even scarier due to the fact it crushed DT like a bug. The SPD loader was the opposite it was 40 feet as well but was light and agile; therefore hard to hit, it had two chain guns on its shoulders so it could absolutely cause damage.
The group looked up to see the SPD spinning the barrels about to fire.
"DYNAMIC ENTRY!" cried out two black blurs as they smashed into the loaders.
The behemoths crashed to the ground causing a cloud of dust. When it cleared Zen and Jake stood there staring down the Loaders. They Loaders started to rise as the two Mandalorians charged at them, Zen toward the SPD loader and Jake at the HLK loader.
Zen tried to swing at it but it just kept dodging and shooting at Zen. Some of the bullets either grazed him or hit him, caused cuts and holes to be formed across his body.
"Fuck I'm too slow, I can't keep up." Zen thought bitterly as he did his best to dodge another hail of bullets.
Meanwhile Jake was not fairing any better.
He was able to dodge all of the Loader's attacks but he just couldn't pierce the armor.
"Wait, I'm faster than Zen but he is stronger than-"
"Zen! Switch!" Jake called as he dodged another swipe.
"What? Why?"
"JUST DO IT!"
While the two were bickering and trying to attack, Lilith was helping everyone back onto the boat. Once everyone was on she turned back to watch the two fight.
Zen sighed as he spun on his heel and took off in a sprint toward the HLK loader, while Jake had turned and took off after the SPD loader. Once he caught up to it, he dodged a hail of bullets easily. He threw his dagger and pierced through the robot completely; he grabbed the wire that was attached to the handle of his knife and pulled it to the left, causing it to wrap around the robots torso.
Jake grinned and pulled as hard as he could on the wire causing it to sever the bots upper torso from lower torso. He turned and headed back to the ship.
Over with Zen he had just ducked under a swing from the HLK loader and pulled his sword out partially and then seemed to disappear. He reappeared behind the hulking machine. The robot's left leg fell of off its torso. Before Zen could come to a complete stop, he spun on his heel and shot forward again, severing the other leg as well. This continued for two more strikes each cutting an arm off. Finally the Loader was down to just its torso when Zen shot forward even faster than before causing a crater and an after image where he was just standing, but not causing a cut.
Zen reappeared behind it and slowly sheathed his sword he uttered, "Lion's song."
As soon as the blade clicked into place the robot behind him was cut into 16 separate pieces.
He stumbled after he walked forward a little, "Damn, still haven't perfected it yet."
We made his way back to ship, eager to go to sleep.
With Handsome Jack
"Is the core ready for use yet, Angel?" The Hyperion CEO asked the siren.
"Yes sir, I thought you would like to also know that the Mandalorian agents are ready." Angel replied, albeit reluctantly.
"Good, this will teach those bandit scum just who the hero is." The masked man replied with a sinister grin.
I did it yay! Sorry it took me so long, I had summer school and I didn't like the way I introduced the new group. I probably rewrote that scene at least twenty times.
I wont make you follow and favorite and review but they are appreciated.
Xplosion is blasting off! ...Sorry, that was just bad
