'This feels nice.' Natsu thought.
"Natsu, can you let me go?" Lucy said with her face as red as tomato.
Natsu on the other hand just stare at her and blushing hard. 'What a pervert I am. I must have infected by Loke!' Natsu slap himself in his mind. 'But this is my chance to confess.'
"Lucy, I want you to know that you're really important to me, you..you.. are precious and that's why…. I…. Really…. Really…."
At the same time, outside the infirmary.
Gray, Happy, Gajeel and surprisingly Laxus stand by the door hearing their conversation.
"Wait, why don't we just enter normally?" Gray asked.
"No, I want to hear their lovey dovey conversation Gray!" Happy answered.
"Yeah, I want to know if salamander really brave to admit his feeling!" Gajeel interrupt.
"What?! And wait, Laxus, what are you doing here?" Gray asks with his eyebrows lifted slightly.
"Just to kill time." He answered with poker faced.
Happy smiles slyly while Gray just shakes his head, clearly annoyed by the whole situation.
When they heard Natsu tries to confess her feeling, Gajeel and Happy smiles and giggle but Gray and Laxus becomes anxious.
"Lucy, I want you to know that you're really important to me, you..you.. are precious and that's why…. I…. Really…. Really…."
BAM!
The door opened revealing 3 men and a cat entering the room with innocent face plastered on their faces.
"Yo Lucy!" Gray greeted.
"Hei Bunny girl! Feeling better?"
"Hi Lucy, I just come to visit. How are you?"
"Lussyy.. Feeling better now?" Happy hugs her tightly.
The two of them blushes as they were caught red handed.
"Kids nowadays are so bold…" Happy snickered, shaking his head slightly.
"Why are you in that inappropriate position?" Gray veins popped in annoyance.
Lucy wanted to moves but she doesn't have the strength to do so. Laxus, who equally annoyed by what he sees choose to separate them first.
"You really should learn a little bit about courtesy Natsu. How can you do such an inappropriate act towards injured women? How indecent..." Laxus snorted while shaking his head. He picked Lucy up and put her on the bed.
"I-It's not like that!" Natsu protested.
"You're getting brave salamander." Gajeel smirked.
"It's not like that metal head!" Natsu argues. "It's just an accident!"
"Yeah right.. Like we don't know what exactly happen." Gray crossed his arm, still mad.
Natsu wanted to argue more but Lucy stops them. "Ummm.. Guys, did you stalk us? I wonder what Erza will do to all of you if she knows Natsu accidently flipped by bed" She pointed at Natsu. "While you guys secretly peeping on us?" Lucy said with her face still blushes but manage to give an evil smirk.
The boys paled including Laxus, well he don't care about Erza that much, but if his little group know about this, his reputation might be scarred.
"Ehm. I think you guys understand that much. Good job guys!" Lucy clapped her hand. "And answering your question earlier, I'm fine but getting MORE tired and MORE dizzy because of you guys." She gave them a dazzling smile. Well, her word is scary enough to make them shiver a bit.
"Is that so? Sorry then, let me call Wendy!" Natsu volunteered.
"No, it's fine. I'm fine, maybe getting out of this room will help me get better."
"I'll carry you." Natsu offered.
"No need flame brain, I'll carry her." Gray interrupts.
"What are you saying Snow cone?!"
When they started to fight, Loke appeared beside Lucy.
"Don't fight Natsu, Gray. Let me be the one to carry my princess." Loke says with his glasses glinting.
"No way!" Gray and Natsu hit Loke who interrupting their 'buddy' conversation.
Gajeel and Happy watching their fight while Lucy just sighed.
'I really can't stand their argument. I wish I could walk right now, leaving them fighting alone.' Lucy thought.
When she tries to yell, Laxus comes to her and carry her bridal style. No word could come out of her mouth as she was really shocked and a little terrified. Who wouldn't? They rarely talk and suddenly he carries her. And carry her BRIDAL SYTLE!
"You want to get out of here right. Now, let me help. Any complains?" Laxus said with a straight face.
Lucy shook her head as an answer.
Laxus walk out of the infirmary leaving 3 men fighting while a man and a cat laughing happily as a background. He manages to give them a smirk and walk with Lucy in his arm.
Gray, Natsu and Loke are beyond shocked and their jaws dropped. Laxus carry their Lucy!
"Laxus!" They yelled together.
Laxus turn his head to them and says something that would burn their pride.
'I win!'
They could only sigh in defeat. They don't want to pick a fight with him holding their precious ones….Or get beaten by him in front of Lucy…
"Hei Natsu, looks like you got a new rival besides me you know." Gray smirked.
"Hei! Don't forget about me! Although I knew that Lucy won't take me seriously. I won't let any on you get her easily you know." Loki whines.
"No guys, we have more than we could imagine!" Natsu tell them dramatically. "Sting and maybe Rouge might have a little crush on her." He whispered.
"What?! Shit, this is getting hard." Gray scratches his head. "Oh well, if I can't get her, I can't let you guys have her that easy." Gray is burning in determination.
"Heh, do what you want but I'm sure Lucy will be mine!" Natsu says confidently.
All of them started to leave the infirmary followed by Gajeel and Happy betting who will be with Lucy at the end of the day.
At the guild hall
"How is Lucy's condition Erza?" Mira asks while wiping the cup.
"She looks fine but I think Wendy should check on her after this." Erza answered.
"Eh? Isn't Wendy there when Lucy wake up?" Mira asks in confusion.
"I've check on her but just slightly. I'll make a full check after Lucy-san and Natsu-san done talking." Wendy answered while taking a sip on her drinks.
Mira's face brightens with excitement. "Ufufufufu.. Looks like my favourite couple is left alone… I wonder if there some development~" Mira whistle.
"Mira-san.." Wendy sweat dropped.
"Hei.. What about Natsu and Lucy?" Cana, Juvia, Lisanna and Levy join the conversation.
"I intentionally let the two of them have a little time alone."Erza answered while eating her strawberry cake.
Levy, Juvia, Lisanna and Cana's face brimming with excitement. "Woot… Looks like we will be having a little addition soon." Cana said bluntly.
"Hei Cana, watch your word, Wendy is here." Mira scolded.
Wendy is blushing hard. "Hahaha! But you know, they are a bit clueless about love so, about little addition might be later." Levy added.
"You're right. Lucy might be smart but she is as dense as Natsu in love. Not to mention, Natsu might not even know what love means." Lisanna said while shaking her head, disappointed with their progression.
All of them nodded in agreement. "Anyway Erza, you did a good job! With Natsu being alone with Lucy, I'm sure a few candidates will not sit still right now." Mira scanning the guild and true enough, Gajeel, Laxus, Happy and Gray is gone.
"Aww.. Looks like they are trying to sneak into the infirmary!" Lisanna claimed.
"Gray-sama won't do that!" Juvia defended.
"No wonder Gajeel said he wanted to see a movie. He wanted to stalk Lucy and Natsu without me!" Levy pouted.
"Let's join the fun guys!" Cana suggested.
All of them nodded, including Erza and Wendy. As they started to move, they see Lucy in Laxus arm, walking down the stairs. Mira has fainted in her own excitement while the other girls squealed in jealousy excluding Erza and Wendy who blushes in their own imagination.
"Hi everyone!" Lucy greeted them.
"Lucy!" All of them roared in excitement.
Greet coming from all corner of the guild and Lucy smile and waves as a respond. Laxus put her on the chair where they gathered and walked away. Lucy manages to thank him before he goes and he just nodded. Lisanna and Levy squealed while the others just smile.
"Hi Lucy, how are you? You should stay on the bed you know." Erza greeted.
"I'm okay. I just want to greet all of you and I promise I would go back shortly."
They talk with each other for a few moments but Lucy is still weak making Wendy forces her to rest. Natsu carried Lucy back in the infirmary with Wendy and Natsu is in charge.
"Lucy-san, your body is too weak right now. You shouldn't move too much. Your magic power is recovering but you should not summon your spirit okay. The cuts are not fully closed yet, so you have to be careful not to make it reopened. And…" Wendy did not stop reprimanding Lucy.
"I get it Wendy, don't worry. You sound like my mother you know." Lucy joked.
"Lucy-san.." Wendy puffed her cheeks.
"Hehe.. You're cute Wendy. Oh.. By the way, thanks for not giving up on me." Lucy smiles.
"You're welcome. But Laxus-san also helps. He did a good job sending a shock to your body."
"Is that so? Looks like I owe him." Lucy nodding her head.
"I'll put a spell on you so that you will have a good sleep throughout the night."
"Thanks. I think I really need it. I feel my body is going to collapse if I don't sleep now."
That night, Natsu is the only one stay in the infirmary while the others forced to go home by master Makarov. He knows if he don't force them, the entire team will have a sleep over at the infirmary and he knows it will not help Lucy recover at all. The night passes peacefully with Natsu on Lucy's side.
The next morning.
Lucy' pov
I open my eyes as wide as I could and start scanning the surroundings, only to find a certain dragon slayer sleep on the chair beside me. I couldn't help but broke a smile for him. He is precious, so does everyone in Fairy Tail. I wonder what Mida and my favourite twin dragon slayer are doing now. It's not like I fall in love with the two of them alright! They are a bit overprotective and cute brother to me. Yes, a cute little brother with Mida as my sister and Fairy Tail as my big family and Natsu… as… Ahh.. I feel my face getting hot. I choose to ignore my perverted thought. Yes, how complete my life right now.
Normal pov.
When Lucy still caught in her thought, Natsu turns his head facing her. He shows his charming and curious eyes that would melt anyone in sight.
"Good morning Lucy." Natsu greeted her.
"Ah.. Hei Natsu, but, look at the clock Natsu. It's already afternoon."
"EHHH! Really?!"
"Yes it is. I really think it's better for you to go home and take a shower."
"But…. I don't want to leave you alone here. What if you need anything?" Natsu started whining.
"Nah, no need to worry Natsu. I am fine, I just need to rest and I don't feel to move at all. You better go home now. You stink! I couldn't hold it any longer you know. I wonder how a dragon slayer who has a good sense of smell could hold your smell right now." Lucy joked.
"Lucy, you meanie! Fine I will call Wendy here." Natsu pouted.
"Wait Natsu. Ermm, thanks for accompanying me that night." Lucy started to blush.
Natsu's face lightens up; his cheek feels hot while his heart beating rushing. "No problem Lucy. Stay here okay! I'll be right back." He gives her his famous grin and runs out of the infirmary.
'I wish Sting, Lector, Rouge and Frosh is here. They are cute and somehow I miss them a little.'
A few days passed with Lucy recovered quickly. However, she has to stay in the infirmary until Wendy and Porlyusica allows her to go home. Lucy sighed and slumped on her team's table. Natsu and Gray fighting with each other while Erza gone for a mission. Wendy, Carla and Happy sit together with Lucy, trying to cheer her up.
"Lucy-san, don't feel sad, have some spirit will you?" Wendy cheered.
Lucy just mopping on the table, mumbling. "I hope something interesting will happen soon." Lucy wished silently.
People always say, be careful with what you wish and looks like Lucy's wish come true. The guild's door burst open with a familiar figure standing right at the door.
