"Lucy-san, don't feel sad, have some spirit will you?" Wendy cheered.
Lucy just mopping on the table, mumbling. "I hope something interesting will happen soon." Lucy wished silently.
People always say, be careful with what you wish and looks like Lucy's wish come true. The guild's door burst open with a familiar figure standing right at the door.
…..
"Hello!" Lector and Frosh greeted.
"My..my.. looks like our friends from Sabertooth come to visit." Mira who happen to be near the entrance door greeted. "Want to see Lucy?" Mira grin slyly.
"W-well yeah." Sting admitted.
Crash!
Gray crashing the table near the guild door. "Oww! Damn flame head!" Gray insulted. He then see the twin dragon slayer and their exceeds. "Yo guys! How are you doing?" Gray greeted with bruise on his left cheek.
The two of them dumbfounded with the sudden greet but answer anyway. "We're fine Gray-san." Rouge answer calmly.
"This sure is interesting guild right Lector?" Sting said excitedly.
"YUPS!"
"Gray! Get your asses up now!" Natsu runs towards the commotion. "Oh, Hi guys! Long time no see!" Natsu grinned with bruises on his right cheek.
"Actually not that long, but nice to see you guys!" Sting excitedly answered.
"Well, can we see Lucy-san? We have something for her anyway." Rouge interrupts their weird greetings. Yes weird! Normal people wouldn't greet anyone while fighting doesn't they?
"Sure you can, Lucy sit near the bar counter, just walk ahead and you will see her." Mira who still did not leave the conversation informed.
"Thanks." Rouge and Frosh thanked.
The little group together with Gray and Natsu walk towards Lucy who buried her face with her hand on the table.
"Oi Lucy!" Natsu called.
"Yeah?" Lucy lifts her head facing Natsu. She is too shocked to see the twin dragon slayer and their exceed is walking towards her while waving excitedly. Instinctively, she stands up in shock.
"Guys! Why are you guys here?!" Lucy shouted a bit loud. Then she feels her head spinning and falling backward. She closed her eyes, waiting to touch the ground but instead, she feels strong arms holding her body?!
Lucy opens her eyes and sees different kind of hair colour towering her.
"Black, pink, black, blond? I don't think rainbow will have these colours." Lucy mumbles in her dizziness.
"Hei Lucy, are you okay?" Natsu shakes her shoulders gently.
Lucy blinked her eyes a few times and grasps the situation. "Oh.. I'm okay. Thanks" Lucy said and sits down rubbing her dizzy head.
"Lucy-san, you shouldn't stand up suddenly! Your blood pressure is still low!" Wendy lectures her.
"Clumsy Lushie.." Happy snickered.
"Hei, I AM NOT CLUMSY! Just.." Lucy smile sheepishly. "Sorry Wendy, I just too shock to see…. Oh yeah! Why are you guys here?!" Lucy pointed at frowning men and exceed.
Time skip.
"So, you guys here because Mida ask you to give me something?" Lucy concluded.
"Yups! Even though before Mida-san called us, we have already planned to visit.. mmmpp" Sting covering Lector's mouth, preventing him from spouting nonsense.
"And Lucy-san, Mida-san worried about you but she don't have the time to visit yet. As a replacement, she sends us to give you this and send her regards." Rouge explained.
Lucy takes a small package and letter from Rouge. She opens the package and sees a black ball pen coated by black coating with pink fairy tail carving at the side of the pen. She then read the letter.
Dear Lucy,
How are you? I know you're doing fine in Fairy Tail don't you? I heard that you got really hurt and almost die. I was really mad and wanted to drag you back with me but I held back. If I do that, what is the different between me and your father before this right? I don't like rumors, so I ask your master directly. Believe me; I have my own way to keep in contact with everyone. That is when I know you're almost died protecting your family. I'm proud of you. But next time, don't solve everything by yourselves okay! Ohohohho. Now I'm lecturing you. I think your team must have lectured you enough. By the way, I also know about keys I gave you last time. You manage to call them right? See, I knew you're the one destined for the keys.
If you curious about the pen. That pen should be your present during your past birthday. It is a magical pen. It can change its colour based on the feeling of the writer. The best part is, the writer will only see black colour, but only the reader could know the colour which reflected the feeling of the writer. Now, you have to give me at least 1 letter about yourself and I will do the same. I will use the same ball pen, so that we will know each other's feeling.
Actually, I have a lot of thing to write but I think I will stop here. Just take care of yourself. If something happen, don't hesitate to find me. DON'T YOU EVER HAVE THE GUTS TO LIE TO ME OKAY! Don't worry about the capital latter, I'm smiling while doing so.

Lucy just giggles and smiles while reading the letter. 'Typical Mida, too energetic and over-protective' Lucy thought. "Thanks guys, for bringing this for me." Lucy folded the letter and put away the present.
Sting and Rouge blushes while the exceeds grinned. "Sure!" Lector answered.
"You're the guild master of Sabertooth right? Is it okay for you go out of the guild just to come here?" Gray asked.
"Yeah, it is okay. Even though I'm currently the official guild master, Rufus did a good job assisting me, so I have free time to travel."
"Do we have to call you master Sting then?" Wendy chipped in.
"Drop the honorific, we are friends after all." Sting gives Wendy his dazzling smile.
"So, what is your plan after this? You won't go back to your guild this soon right?" Natsu asked.
"No. We planned to stay a night at Magnolia before going back." Frosh answered.
"Great! Let's go on a job then." Natsu invited.
"WHAT? Are you insane? They're not the same guild as us!" Gray object. "No offence guys, I just need to make sure this flame brain come back to his senses." Gray look at the confused Sting and Rouge.
"I said, WE CAN GO ON A JOB TOGETHER! LIKE ERZA DOES!" Natsu emphasize the Erza part right on Gray face.
Gray frown before realization hit him. "Right, like Erza does! Let's go guys! I will ask permission from Gramps!" Gray dashed to Master Makarov office while Natsu dragged Sting and Rouge to the guild's request board followed by Happy while whispered something on their ears.
"Wait guys!" Lucy whined.
"Don't worry Lucy-san. Fro and Lector will accompany you here. They probably just are joking around anyway." Frosh assured.
"I don't think they are joking though." Lucy sweat-dropped. "It's not like I can stop them when they get this hype anyway." Lucy frowned.
"Lucy-san…" Before Wendy could continue Gray called her and Carla while gesturing her to follow him. "Opps, sorry Lucy-san, looks like I'm needed somewhere." Wendy said apologetically.
"Don't worry about it. Go ahead." Lucy answered, still smiling.
"You know Lucy-san, you don't look cheerful as usual." Lector looks at Lucy in worry.
"Is it that obvious? You see, I can't go back to my apartment or enjoying my time with my novel or books!" Lucy said in frustration. "It's not like I don't like staying here, but I have to take some time relaxing my body in bathtub, writing my story and go on some mission."
"I…." And again, before Lector or even Frosh manage to say any word to comfort the whining blond, they are called by their partner across the guild hall. "Looks like they call us, we will right back okay Lucy-san." Frosh said before flying to their partner.
"Sure.. Go ahead." Lucy said in disappointment. Lucy could only sigh. "If Freed did not set up runes that forbid me from going out of guild's area, I swear I have walk back to my apartment by now." Lucy silently curse. "Stupid Freed and his runes."
Freed who sitting on the other side of the guild sneezes. "Hachoo!" He sniffed. "Hmm, looks like people are talking about how great I do as one of Laxus followers!" Freed exclaimed loudly, while Bixlow and Evergreen just shrugged. They are accustomed with his over-conscious personality these past few years.
Lucy who left alone at her table still not moving. She just staring at her drink, hoping her team have done with their discussion. She also hope she can join the job this time.
"Lucy!" Natsu together with Gray, Carla, Happy, Wendy, Sting Rouge, Lector and Frosh called her from entrance door. Lucy who having a small hope stands up. As she started to take a first step to the door, Natsu continue his word. "We're going on a job together! We will be back tonight! Stay here okay!" Natsu finished his word, waving, grinning and dashing out of the guild together with the group.
'Did they just leave me alone here?!' Lucy screamed in her mind. She have the urge to smack the flame head who promise to stay with her until she can go back doing some mission. More importantly, the urge to smack his head is not that much compared to the urge to cry out loud in disappointment and of course hurt! They just leave her without proper explanation and bring all her close friend together! Not leaving at least one person behind!
Lucy sighed. She just wanted to stay in the infirmary, sobbing her heart out before Laxus grab Lucy's wrist, dragging her to the guild's backyard.
"Laxus! What was that for?!" Lucy shrieked while rubbing her wrist.
"I thought you would say thanks for that." Laxus raise her eyebrows.
"I think you should tell me why then." Lucy asked.
"Well, I can see you're about to cry...and… I thought you need some fresh air." Laxus said awkwardly.
Lucy blushes. "Is it that obvious?" Lucy scratches her right cheek.
"It is." Laxus answered, simple.
"I think I really need to cry back there but now I don't feel like crying anymore. Thanks Laxus." Lucy grinned.
Laxus now facing Lucy and he could feel his cheeks becomes really warm. "I think in this situation I should say welcome?" Laxus said with indifferent.
"Yes you should. And… Wendy told me, you're playing a big role bringing me to life. For that, I thank you. Thanks for not giving up on me." Lucy bowed formally.
"I-It's nothing. Don't mention it." Laxus shuttered. You can see some red shades starting to form on his cheeks.
Lucy giggles with Laxus abnormal behavior. 'Usually he will have a strong and tough image. Shuttering? It is not Laxus at all! But I don't mean in a bad way. I think he is nice and cute this way.' Lucy said in her mind.
"Lucy, I don't really know you that well before this. I really felt bad not helping you during Phantom Lord incident." Laxus said looking directly at Lucy's brown eyes.
Lucy who usually would blush and look away did not do so. She just stare back on Laxus eyes and smile. "It is past Laxus. You don't have to feel bad about it. The present is the most important thing right now. You have change and I believe that."
"I have done a lot of thinking these past few days after 'that' incident." Laxus confessed.
Lucy nodded, waiting whatever thing Laxus try to tell her.
"But before that, may I ask you one question?" Laxus asked.
"Sure." Lucy shot a smile.
"Do you have someone you like?"
Lucy was taken aback for a moment. She knew Laxus is serious. So, she have to give him a serious and clear answer. But one thing that she couldn't help was blushing when a certain name crossed her mind.
"Y-yes I have."
Laxus sighed but nonetheless smile. After all, he has predicted this to happen anyway. "Okay, I will tell you what I have been thinking. When you fought with Flare during GMG and hurt, I have some feeling that keep bugging me. I'm not sure what that feeling is but I think I wanted to protect you. Seeing you died hit me hard. I realize that I should have known you better and help you in any way I could. Little did I know I have taken a liking on you. I think of you as a little sister that I have never had. So, if you don't mind… I want to know you better and be your big brother. After all, we're blond." Laxus explained smoothly and chuckle a little on the blond part.
Lucy just stared wide eyes on Laxus explanation and confession. She was shocked on the revelation but composed herself, digesting everything Laxus had told her. Lucy stared at her feet, not uttering a single word for a few moment making Laxus feel awkward and regretting her 'braveness'.
"Never mind, I just think I should tell you that. It's okay, don't feel burdened by it." Laxus said while walking away from Lucy.
Hearing that, Lucy automatically lifted her head and grab Laxus' coat. "Don't go!" Lucy finally voices. "I'm sorry, I'm just a bit shocked. I never thought you care for me that much."
"Yeah, I myself surprise by that actually." Laxus laugh a bit but still not facing Lucy.
"And about making me your sister… If you don't mind, I would love to be one."
Laxus turn his back, facing Lucy and holding her shoulders. "Are you serious about that?" Laxus said, happiness could be find in his word.
"Yeah, but don't regret it later. I might become a brat or maybe spoil sometimes." Lucy said playfully.
"It might become a problem but let's try it then. I warned you, I might be a bit straight in certain things" Laxus warned playfully.
"Sure..sure.. After all, we're blond. Maybe our personality will click together." Lucy said
Laxus just laugh. "That is not a strong claim Lucy." Laxus patted his 'little sister's' head lightly.
'Being Lucy/Laxus big brother/little sister is a wonderful thing after all. Looks like we can get along just fine.' Both of them said in their mind.
"Oh by the way Laxus, don't you want to make Sting your little brother?" Lucy asked a little too innocent or maybe she tried to make it as innocent as possible.
"Why would I?" Laxus spat.
"Well, your claim to make me your sister is I'm blond. Sting is blond, so.. you would make him your little brother?" Lucy explained, still maintaining her innocent smile.
"You know what? Forget about the blond thing." Laxus scoffed. "I knew I shouldn't have said that in the first place." Laxus mumble loud enough to make Lucy laugh loudly.
Natsu and the others.
All of them are walking on the Magnolia street, buying all necessary item for their little mission.
"Say Natsu, I think at least we need to say goodbye to Lucy properly." Carla said.
"But Lucy will know we are hiding something from her! She has sharp eyes!" Natsu defended.
"I have to agree on that flame breath. So much I hate to see Lucy make that sad face, it is necessary to make out mission successful!" Gray added.
"I have to admit I am excited to make this mission a success but I think someone should be with her." Sting said.
"Fro think so too! Lector and Frosh could not comforted Lucy-san the time she told us her trouble." Frosh explained.
"No need to worry, Lucy is strong! She might be sad a few moment but after our mission becomes success, she will not be sad anymore! And… although I despite it, Laxus said he will stall some time with Lucy. So she will forget about out 'cold' attitude to her. Natsu said optimistically and frown a little the time he said about Laxus'name.
"I just hope leaving Lucy and Laxus alone would not make your chance to make Lucy like you drop Natsu." Happy reprimand bluntly, making not only Natsu but Gray and Sting freeze a few second.
"On second thought, let's go back to the guild." Gray stopped his track.
Before Sting and Natsu could agree, they see Erza with such a dark aura around her. Not to mention, her red hair and clothes stained with flour and dust. "Going somewhere?!" She smiles sweetly.
All of them shivered. Cold sweat started to form on their head. And that's also the time they realize there is no way they could go back to the guild anytime soon.
