A few days later Doctor Director walked in, followed closely by agent Du, so close that he walked into her when she frozen for a second because of the sight she had in front of her.
Shego was slumped in the middle of the couch, Kim to her right, Monique to her left, both of them filing her nails.
The head of GJ had to ask.
"What's going on in here?"
"Isn't it obvious? I'm creating my own harem"
She jumped slightly when the red head hit her upper thigh.
"Pumpkin, we already talked about that, I'm not into spanking"
She knew it was a lie, but all the young Possible could do at that moment was blush.
Monique snorted, pointing her file at Shego.
"Technically, we are both living in Kim's flat, and both slept with her"
Monique pointed her file at Kim as she finished "It would be her harem"
"Says the one who just did my feet!"
"I'm never going to bet against you again"
"I already heard that" Replied Shego on a teasing tone.
Monique was about to reply when she was interrupted by the eye patched woman.
"I'm not going to ask about what those two bet to end up doing your nails. I'm here to bring you some news. We finally arrested the one who wanted to kill Miss Possible"
Monique was the first one to react.
"Well that was anticlimactic"
"So much, I was hoping to kick then fry some asses"
Kim was worried about something else entirely.
"What does that mean? What happens now?"
The thief cut in before doctor Director could reply.
"Unless I can still do it? Just five minutes with the guy"
The doctor replied to her as if she was a child.
"No Shego. If you wanted to beat him up you had to catch him"
"You should have told me that first" And she pouted.
Betty then turned to Kim.
"Well he is going to be judged for murder, attempt murder, theft, abuse of power and so on. He was actually part of the DA's office, but with another mean to make money on the side, not a legal one"
"The anomalies I found in some reports"
"He was covering his tracks, saw you were getting too close and decided to get rid of you. Don't worry you have nothing to fear from him anymore. We have enough proofs to put him behind bars for life"
"Thanks, but I mean for Shego"
"And Mikeal too!"
The green woman snickered at Monique's reaction after her princess question.
Betty Director frowned. "Agent Storms have been affected to another mission"
The black woman stood up at that, letting the file drop to the floor.
"What?! No, he didn't give me his contact!"
Will Du replied instead of his boss.
"He is a GJ agent, whoever he meets on a mission is not authorized to know personal details of his life. I informed Doctor Director about his unethical conduct, he'll be treated accordingly, most likely to be sent to Iceland, something like…"
The little smile on his face was too much, she pulled back her fist, as she had been taught by her best friend, and most recently the thief, pulled her weight behind it, a hard punch, straight to the jaw.
The GJ agent fell to the floor, the noise he made so loud because everybody else was so quiet.
He looked up angry and got up huffing, standing face to face with the black girl, who had the thief on one side and Kim on the other.
"Oh please give me the opportunity to blow off some steam"
Kim didn't agree with Shego.
"I'm her bff, I'm the one who should get to kick his ass!"
"Recovering best friend. You still have a week left with no physical activity"
"It's not like it would be real physical activity. It's agent Du"
Doctor Director stopped them all.
"Enough! Agent Du, take a few steps back. As for you three there will be no more fighting today"
All three glared at the head of GJ, but Shego spoke first.
"I for one, am glad I won't have to deal with you anymore. I fulfilled my part of our agreement"
The green woman raised her foot, grabbed her ankle bracelet, removed it and tossed it at the GJ director.
"I nearly forgot. Never trust people, thanks Betty for the reminder" On that she walked out, and went in Kim's room.
Kim was trying to remain calm and do the right thing when she was pissed for her friend and worried about her thief. The lawyer part of her couldn't help it.
"Doctor Director, I know the GJ policies. These no fractionalization rules apply to people with a certain status during a mission, like me or Shego. Monique doesn't fit, she should be allowed to have some kind of relationship with Mikael"
"I'm aware of the rules Miss Possible"
Kim let the comment slip. "Then what the hell are you doing?"
"I'm more interested in Shego than I am in Agent Storms. Agent Du wasn't supposed to speak like that and she didn't react the way I expected her to"
"So you wanted to manipulate her. Do you really think that the difference between the good and bad guys is just the end? Not the means? I can't believe you'd be so…"
The red head stopped her, she was too angry. She started to walk in the room, she was observed by them for a few seconds before she spoke.
"You'd better make sure you get things right and…"
They all turned when they hear a loud crash in her room. Kim had to go.
"You'll be okay Mo?"
"Don't worry Kim, go take care of you girl"
Kim nodded and as she left she told her friend. "Just don't make any blood stain"
Here is another short, this story is going to be complete soon, just a a few more chapters. Think it's time to end it, before I get too lost.
