This chapter will follow only bits of the movie, I had to modify it to fit the OCs. Warning OC death!A new OC has been added. Here is a little info on the new OC, her name is Macy. She is one of Rose's best friends. She is also BFF's with Ashley. She is a friend and younger cousin to Sami. She has long blonde hair that falls into ringlets and the tips of her hair is purple (that is a story for another time.) She is a little taller than Sami and has no weapons yet. She is extremely over fond of Justin Beaver *gets hit on the head by Macy* sorry (not really) Bieber. No flames unless they are directed towards Bieber, the dragon fire later in this fanfic will be hot enough for me thank you. Now on with the story! ~
P.S. Well we get to see more of Lady Alexandra hopefully next chapter or maybe not hehehe

Sami continues to circle the company, and Rose watches as events from the movie unfold before and beneath her eyes.
"My lord Elrond is not here." Lindir says looking at Gandalf
"Lindir! Where is your famed elven curtesy? Or is that all lies?" A Raven haired lady in a dark blue dress with long sheer white sleeves that appeared to shift colors with the light.
A few of the dwarves had to suppress a chuckle at the elf's expense. Then turning to the dwarves the Raven haired lady chastised them, "And you! I don't care if there is a thousand years of hate between dwarves and elves, don't laugh because someone else is getting yelled at. Now that is out of the way, our rooms are ready but first off to the bath houses with you men! Dori, yes I know your names, bring Macy over here. Yes I do know her. And where are Rose and Sami?"
She was answered by an eagle's shriek and Rose's yell of, "Alex!"
Everyone looked up, Dwarves with looks of mingled relief and amazement, the elf with a dumbstruck expression that would not be seen on his face again until Frodo Baggins shouts that he will that the Ring to Mordor. And Alex with a look of exasperation and lack of patients, her hands on her hips. The black and silver eagle landed on the bridge and Rose slid off its back. Both walked toward the company and off the bridge. As the eagle stepped off the bridge it transformed into Sami. Wings turned to arms, talons turned to boots, and feathers transformed into clothes around Sami's torso and the feathers round her head receded and turned into hair. Sami stood before her friends human once more.
The first words out her mouth were, "The next person that tries to use me as a pack animal loses their arms!" and then she stormed up to Dori, grabbed her cousin and stormed off to the infirmary.
"That went better than I had hoped." Rose says "Alex, last time I saw you was at the big reunion. You were yelling at Chuck just like you used to do when we were younger. Heard you became Europe's youngest professor." Rose continues going up and hugging the friend she had not seen in four years. Alex hugs Rose backs and says to the younger woman, "What did you land yourself in this time Rose? Last any one heard of you was that you had gone to kick your sister in the butt for joining a cult about Barbies and chickens somewhere in California after those maniacs managed to break it off from the US."
"Ya, I got her home in time for a family reunion in Northern Minnesota. And the next thing I know Sami, Ashley, one of my cousins and I were in the woods outside of Bree."
"Funny, I fell asleep at Oxford in my office and woke up here in Rivendell wearing a dress not unlike this one. Beside me was a back pack with jeans, sweat shirts like the once you made during school, all of our old electronics, and some weapons that I didn't recognize. Oh and Chuck was on the floor about ten feet away dressed like the 10th doctor-
"Whoa whoa whoa. How did Chuckles get here?" Rose interrupts her dark-haired friend
"Ladies while I am sure that you have much catching up to do, we men wish to bathe and get something to eat." Bofur says
"My apologies master Bofur, the bath houses are across the left bridge go past the stables turn right after the third sapling and follow the path that goes in between the twin oaks. You will find all you need in the bathing houses. It might be wise to knock before you enter them though since a few are for family bathing." Alex says without look at the dwarf with the odd hat.
"Thank you my lady. What of our female companions?" "Balin queries
"We will meet you at dinner." Rose smiles at Balin and walks away with Alex.
Thorin watches as the two women walk away and thinks to himself, 'I hope the girls are ok. I don't want to stay in this blasted tree shagger home longer than necessary.'
(Ashley's Pov)
"How much longer do you think they will be unconscious Lord Elrond?" A voice that I recognize from somewhere asks
"Who is unconscious?" I say my voice sounded like I had gargled rocks and sand for an hour. I open my eyes and at first everything is a blur. After blinking a few times Alex, Rose, Sami, and a tall man with point ears and long black hair comes into focus.
"Your were a few seconds ago, and Macy still is." Sami pretty much growls at me. I take it that she is pissed off about something.
"Who put shit down your shirt?" I ask
"She turned into a dire wolf and had to carry you here, then threaten Lord Elrond,' Alex gestures to the point eared dude, ' into taking the carvery to rescue Rose, Macy and the dwarves, then carry Rose all the way here while the dwarves took Macy with them through the long way into Rivendell." Alex explains while I stare at her like she grew a second head.
"Alexandra Gregor WHEN DID YOU GET HERE? AND WHY ARE YOU WEARING A DRESS? WHAT HAPPENED TO MACY? WHY DID SAMI HAVE TO CARRY RO-" I yell until Sami comes over to me and covers my mouth with her hand which I bite. As she grabs her hand away and wipes it on my blankets glaring at me. I close my eyes, count down from ten in my head and take several deep breaths. When I open my eyes again, a man six feet two inches is looming over me. He has light blue eyes and blonde hair that is cut to look like the 11th doctor from Doctor Who.
"HOLY SHIT CHUCK! WHEN THE FRICK DID YOU GET HERE." I freak out again causing Charles B to back up
"I guess the adrenaline finally kicked in. Girly take a chill pill. I got here a few days ago. My clothes are being repaired and updated by Lord Elrond's seamstresses. Ask the dwarves as far as what happened to Macy and you will have to ask Sami, Rose and Lord Elrond why Rose was carried here by Sami in eagle form." Alex says calmly
"Eagle form!?" I hear me voice go up in tone and pitch
"Yes eagle form. I had to carry YOU here in wolf form. I will get you back for biting me just now." Sam growls at me again looking me in the eye. That is when I notice that her eyes are no longer dark brown like mine. They are amber like the eyes of a wolf, eagle, mountain cat and many other creatures with tiny dark brown animal tracks in them.
"Sami what happened to your eyes?" I say ignoring her threat for now
"They changed just like Rose's and your's. The difference is that ours are a natural color where the color of your eyes is just freaky." She smirks now
As her words sink in I freeze and fail to force my lungs to take air in. Did she just say that my eyes have changed!? As though he can sense my distress Charles hands me a mirror that was on the night stand between my bed and Macy's. My eyes had turned violet with flecks of my original brown in the shape of a plus symbol. I slowly hand the mirror back to Charles and once more count down from ten mentally.
"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO MY EYES!" I screech
(Fili's Pov)
'Damned tree shaggers. They are always sticking their noses where they don't belong.' I think as I follow the directions that the woman Rose called Alexandra gave to Bofur. I have gone across a left bridge, past the stables, turned right after the third sapling and follow the path that goes in between the twin oaks. The bath houses are large enough to fit seven large men into each house. But to have some privacy and get some time to mull things over alone, I go over to the third house which looks like it is only meant for a single person and knock three times then wait for an answer. Hearing none I enter the bath house and begin to strip out of my armor. I then divest myself of my clothes and step into the bath. The warm water feels great on muscles that have become sore over the past few days. As I unbraid the braids in my golden mane and mustache I hear someone screeching across Rivendell.
"WHEN DID YOU GET HERE? AND WHY ARE YOU WEARING A DRESS? WHAT HAPPENED TO MACY? WHY DID SAMI HAVE TO CARRY RO-"
Something about the voice is slightly familiar. I pause and wait a moment trying to figure out why that voice sounds so familiar before going back to unbraiding then the screeching comes again
"HOLY SHIT CHUCK! WHEN THE FRICK DID YOU GET HERE." I feel kind of sorry for this Chuck the voice is yelling at, because if it seems loud to me it must be at least ten times worse in close proximity. By this time finally have all my braids out and begin to wash the muck and the filth from my hair. It takes a while to completely clean out my hair but while doing this I start thinking more about the girls that Uncle has allowed to come with us. How come their friends keep popping up everywhere?
I don't know much about Macy but Kili seems to be crushing on her a little bit. And the lady in blue seemed to be friends with Rose, Sami and Ashley. And didn't she say that a guy named Chuck was here too? That must have been who the voice was yelling at. Uncle started glowering at Rose's reaction and nick name for the unseen man that the lady in blue, I think her name was Alex, said was here.
I wonder who is Chuck is? The girls that joined our company, or at least Rose seemed to know him. My guess is that Sami did too but she stormed off taking Macy with her. I don't think that Dwalin knows that I saw the look he sent after her. Sami seems to be the female human version of Dwalin. It is scary the level of weapons skills that woman has.
Rose is even more scary than Sami for the sole reasons of not only being able to beat BOTH uncle and Dwalin but also being able to talk uncle into leading us a certain way or act a certain way. Before we left Ered Luin Uncle told me and Kee not to go falling for women on this quest now it doesn't look like he is following his own orders.
And Ashley, oh sweet Ashley. She is kind and sweet. More stunning than the morning sunrise. More beautiful than a thousand glittering gems and jewels. Her voice is like the song of bird in the early dawn. She is gentle and caring, wanting to heal those around her. Her laugh is contagious to me. She balances out her friends perfectly with her calm ways. Rose is calm on the outside but I sense a storm brewing on the inside that will destroy all when it breaks loose. Sami is all fire and ice and battle. There are times I think that she lacks a heart or soul, but then she proves me wrong.
"Fee hurry up in there, uncle wants to talk to us. He is waiting by the first bath house" Kee calls from the outside of the bath house. He always can tell where I am no matter if he didn't see where I went.
"Tell uncle I will be right there." I say rinsing the soap from my hair and my body. Water running over muscles hardened from years of training washing away soap and any remaining dirt. Once I am satisfied I dry myself and towel my thick mane of golden blonde hair. After braiding braids where they belong in my hair dress and only then do I rebraid my mustache. I look in a long mirror that stands in the corner of the bath house, satisfied I grab my stuff and go to meet uncle.
(Rose's Pov)
I had to leave the infirmary when my ears started ringing from Ashley's yelling screeches. By the lack of yells, I guess that those left in the room with Ash found a way to calm her. I left myself wonder aimlessly through Rivendell. My mind wonders to thoughts of Ted and the family I was torn away from. Ashley, Macy, Sami, and Alex may be my sisters through bond. But seeing the bonds of family and blood the dwarves share it makes me miss my family...wait! What am I thinking? It was THEY who cast ME away! Not the other way around. Ted was the worst...but he didn't deserve THAT death. He deserved worse!
So why do I feel this guilt at not rushing in to help until after the troll had eaten him? Is it because he was my cousin? No there are people who kill or watch their entire family, brothers, sisters, cousins die, and they feel no guilt. I know for a fact that Sami wouldn't bat an eye if she had seen one of her many cousins get eaten, hell of some of them she would have fed to the trolls herself!
I find myself in the library. I usually find myself comforted by books, they have always been my way to escape unpleasant thoughts or to just escape in general. I notice that the books are sorted by the language they are written in and then by size and series, if they are part of one. I make my way over to the Sindarin section and begin to look over the books there. I pick one with a colorful plant embossed binding, in the top right corner was a baby next to a grown man and beside the man was a rocking chair. On the Left a light blue dragon. On the bottom right were animals, in the left was a shield that had a caduceus on it. In the middle of the front cover were the symbols of the elements. It told a story of a seer who foresaw the merging of two worlds. Before the merge four people will enter one of the worlds. Three of them would have strange powers and the fourth would be consumed by a being of the mountains.
I dropped the book. Trolls are born and come from the mountains. My cousin was consumed by a troll. Sami, Ashley and I all have strange powers...
"SHIT!"
