~I only own my Ocs and the chaos they might end up causing Please Review or tell Pm me with ideas. This story is long overdue for a fixer upper. I am still looking for a beta. If anyone would want to volunteer that would be great! Just leave me a comment or PM me saying so. For any and all mistakes I take full credit. I am currently going back through my fic and fixing some mistakes and maybe adding or cutting some things out. Thank you to my reviewers, and the people who followed and or favorited my story. This chapter will follow only bits of the movie, I have to change it to fit the OCs. OCs in this story are based off of people in real life that I see almost every day, and yes they really do have these personalities. No flames, the dragon fire later in this fanfic will be hot enough for me thank you. Now on with the story!~

P.S. This is now officially an AU

Anything in elvish will be in bold

(No one's Pov)

"You are what?" Macy asks

"My name is Raweru. I am the reason Rose has gathered you all here. You, Thorin, Fili, Kili and Dwalin are here because your fates intertwine with four of the people that are not of middle earth. Samantha is the only one here who has figured out how to use her powers, Rose's have so far only appeared when she loses her temper which so far has none of you have even begun to see the full might of. Macy uses part of her powers without even realizing it, Ashley has used her powers once and over exerted herself. Alex and Charles don't even know that they have powers." Raweru said to the dwarves before turning towards those who were brought into Middle earth

"Samantha come here." Raweru said, her tone leaving no room for discussion

Sami stepped forth.

"Change into the smallest mammal you know."

Sami thought of a shrew. She felt herself shrinking. She felt a tail growing.

Her friends watched as she turned she turned from a shrew into an elephant and then into a lion. From a lion she turned into a giant lizard that Rose, Ash, Macy, Alex and Charles knew to be a Kimono Dragon, but the five said not to the dwarves who had never seen this creature nor some of the other she had transformed into before.

"To turn back to your human form think of being human and you will be."

Sami did as instructed and stood before her friends human once again.

"Since it is obvious that you have mastered your amulet, you now need to learn how to use your actual powers. You Samantha have the power to summon and control animals. But it is only the animals of this middle earth that you have power over. Until you are able to tell the difference between changing your form and summoning an animal take off your amulet." Sami begrudgingly took it off and placed it in one of her pockets. "Now think of an animal that you wish to be a constant companion, for that is what the first animal you summon to you will be. What will you summon child? An Eagle? One of the hunting wolves? A proud falcon? A clever fox? A swift horse? Or perhaps one of the darker creatures, a mighty serpent or a crow. What is your pick eldest daughter of the youngest son?"

"I choose one of the Ravens of Erebor."

"Ah, I see you like your leader are wise beyond your twenty two years. To summon the raven call out to the bird with your mind, just speak do not think after you have done this reach into the back of your mind, clear it of all other thoughts and let yourself speak the language of the birds."

Sami closed her eyes and did as she was instructed. After five or so minutes a raven's caw came out of her mouth three times, then the amber eyed girl opened her eyes to watch as a beautiful Raven with feather that seemed to shift between black and dark green flew towards her. It circled her friends three times, dive-bombed Macy once and just brushed the top of Dwalin's head with its wing tip before alighting on Samantha's shoulder.

"Welcome Cree granddaughter of Carc." Raweru said to the raven of Sami shoulder

"Thank you Raweru snomed of future past, thank you for helping the slegna of animals to discover her gift." Cree said to Raweru and then flew over to perch on Dwalin's head so she could look at Sam's face when they spoke.

"You know of my father and my grandfather and their past and future relationship to the ruling family of Durin. None of your world know of me how ever. I was stolen as an egg. I hatched and was later rescued from my eggnappers by Raweru. I am at your service Samantha daughter of the Oalfson line."

"Sami, Cree will help you learn more of your power. Take her and Dwalin and go over to the west side of the training field closest to the trees. I will be there shortly to check on your progress after I have taught your friends their powers and how to control those powers." Raweru said and once again Sami did as she was bid without question

"Since Rose, Ashley and Macy already have some idea of what their powers are I will wait to deal with them. I want you Charles to step forward. As I understand it you adore someone called Doctor Who. I also have heard that you apparently also dress and look like the 11th doctor. Just as the doctor regenerates so Charles do you. You can also bring your friends back from death's cold grasp if they have not strayed too far past its dark gate. Now I am going to kill you, after your 'death' your spirit will see two doors. One will be black and that one will bring you back slowly and painfully and is only to be used as a last resort. The other door is green and leads you back to the land of the living. After I slice your neck, I want you to count to 1000 before going through the green door is that understood?"

"Wait wha-" Chuck was cut off by a knife slashing across his neck. He fell to the ground dead everyone froze, right as Alex was about to erupt into a tirade Chuck sat up and finished his sentence like nothing had happened, "wait just a moment now." Charlie's eyes were still their original light blue but they now had fleck of black and white in them.

Everyone just stared at Charlie before Raweru broke the silence, "Anyone else want to kill him a few times, and don't worry if you cut something off it will just reattach itself."

Five people formed a line with Thorin at the front followed by Fili. Then came Rose, Alex, and last Kili.

Chuck died five times. Once by beheading, once by having his neck broken, Rose shoved his nose into his brain, Alex slashed his wrists and Kili sent an arrow straight through Chuck's heart and out the other side.

Every time Chuck came back to life, picked himself up and dusted off his jacket.

"Good. Now Ashley step forth. Now you dear are able to heal those around you as well as yourself. As if I were to take Kili's bow and shoot you or take Fili's throwing axes and aim them at you neither would hit there mark. Not because I have poor aim quite the opposite but because long range projectiles can't harm you. If Charles were to throw a rock at you it would still not hit you. Like Rose whenever you use your powers they drain your energy, which is why you fainted after you healed the dwarves in the troll shaw. It is also why Rose faints every time after she has lost her temper and allowed her powers to control her instead of her controlling her powers. You can choose how much of your energy to spend on healing something. Go practice on Charlie and take Fili with you." Raweru said sending Ash and Chuck off to the east side of the training field by the river.

"Now three of the six slegna that are here have been taught their powers and are practicing control. Three remain. Macy, you shall be the next to learn your powers and control over them. You already see the sound waves that the noises of world make. But this is just a skill to help you when you enter the dark of Mirkwood. Your real power is your control over plants. Focus on those daisies on the south side of the training field over by the meadow. Imagine what you want them to look like. Look at the grass around the flowers, make it taller make it greener. Go there and take Kili with you." Once again Raweru's command was heeded.

"You two girls I have left for last because there are two elements that affect you both. Air and Fire. Alex step forward. As you know there is only one creature that controls these two elements with a perfect balance. A dragon. Only four natural born dragons still live and they have not even hatched yet. However there are two other dragons in Middle Earth neither is a full blood dragon. One is a shifter from another world the other is the offspring of the union between a dragon and an elf. You are the shifter, Smaug is the half breed. His mother was a dragon, his father an elf that sailed for the undying lands after his mate the emerald dragoness died. The father of Smaug was known to your world as Timothy Carlton Cumberbatch. Smaug's mother was slain by none other than Thranduil. All dragons have magic. But only a few were able to harness it, Smaug's mother was among those few. She could change her shape into that of an elf. Thus Smaug was conceived. Smaug can shift between dragon and elf just as his mother could, that is also why he has the ability to speak. So too can you Alexandra. Rose, Thorin come stand behind me so you don't get smushed as she shifts." Rose and Thorin do as told, "Good. Now Alex keep your eyes on the golden streaks in the hair of your friends. Think of soaring up and beyond the clouds. Think of the way the wind feels under leather wings. Fire, flight and the dragons you read about while sitting idle in the chair in your study."

As Rose and Thorin watched, Alex grew in size her smooth skin turning to scales. She grew a tail, horns, spikes and wings. Until Alex stood before them, a dragon with scales of dark blue to match the shade of blue she had been wearing earlier. Her underbelly was covered with glittering white scales that shimmered like the night stars. The segments of almost translucent skin that made up her wings was the same pearly while as the scales of her underbelly. Alex let out a roar that shook the building of Rivendell and expelled a stream of brilliant blue and white fire. Which of course attracted the attention of everyone in Rivendell. The elves who had looked towards the training fields when they had heard the noise went back to their work when they saw what was happening, and the dwarves all rushed to the balcony of the room Elrond had given them to watch and make sure everyone was okay.

"Very good Alex now let's see how well you fly." Raweru praised the dragon who, Rose guessed, was about sixteen meters in length.

"By Durin's Beard! She is almost the same size as the accursed worm that sits on my grandfather's hoard!" Thorin exclaimed speaking for the first time since the whole strange affair began.

Raweru ignored Thorin and continued speaking to Alex, "Let your inner dragon's instinct take control when it comes to flying. Try taking off and go from there. Once you touch back down, I will tell you how to change back and don't protest."

Alex let a puff of smoke drift up from her nostrils. But never the less she was eager to fly and thus allowed the dragon side of her to take control and launched herself away from the ground. Flapping her wings in strong strokes until she deemed she was high enough Alex proceeded to do various acrobatics in the air until she almost tied herself into a knot and went to land. She glided towards Raweru, Rose, and Thorin and alighted on the ground not far from where her white claws had torn the ground during her take off.

"Well done. Now to turn back human I want you to do the same as I had Sami do. I want you to think of being human." Not a second Alex once again stood before them human and smirking. "Go over with Sami and practice shifting back and forth. But take her over to the North side by the lake in case you decide to breathe fire again."

Alex left Rose and Thorin standing and waiting for Raweru's next sentence. Rose looked to the woman expectantly while watched with caution in his eyes.

"Rose do you know why I left you for the last?" Raweru questioned. Rose felt like this was a test.

"Because I have been the one to lead my friends so far and yet while they have all figured out their powers for the most part I have so far allowed my powers to control me instead of the other way around?"

"No and Yes. It's because you and your powers are unstable at the moment. The recent death of your cousin and your conflicting reactions and emotions to it are affecting your powers. You have become a threat to yourself and all those around you by allowing your powers to control you instead of taking command of them. I am going to go check on the others. You have to sort out this issue before I can teach you how to control the six element that are linked to you." With that Raweru got up and went over to Sami and Alex

(Thorin's Pov)

I don't like Raweru. Something about her puts me on edge. But if she can help Rose like she helped the others, then I will put my discomfort to the side...for now.

"Rose. Talk to me about you're um..."

"Feelings is the word I think you are looking for Thorin. You don't have to do this. You don't have to listen to a broken shell that is normally covered in a shiny coat to hide its flaws."

"First of all you are not a broken shell. Second you could cover a pile of horse shit in molten gold and it would not look pretty or cover up the fact that it is just a pile of crap. Your light comes from with-in, not from the outside and it is brighter than a thousand Arkenstones. You need to let that light shine and to do that you need to sort out your feelings. Tell me what is wrong. I am not completely insensitive."

"I...I...I can't. I have no inner light. If I did I would not be glad that… that arse is dead and gone. I do not know if he is just gone from Middle Earth or if he is dead in my world as well. If I was younger I would have had no problem with is being dead. Hell I would have jumped for joy! But I am not young anymore and my emotions about his death are confused beyond measure. You probably think me wicked for once longing for the death of a family member."

"No I do not think you wicked. I once wished for the death of my sister's husband. But when he died in the battle for Moria I was confused as you are now. I had hated that my father had deemed him worthy of my sister. No one is or ever was worthy of her. For the longest time I thought that the only good thing about Vili was that he had given Dis a son, Fili and then later Kili. It wasn't until after his death I saw that he had, had many good things about him. The most important was that he had loved Dis and she had loved him. She was so distraught after she had learned of his death. There are times when I look back to those painful days that I remember her wanting to follow her husband into death. The only things that stopped her were Fili and Kili."

"I know. Just like I know that you lost your mother when Dis died and that is why you love your sister so much. Dis reminds you of your mother. I know that you didn't only lose your father and Grandfather to that battle. You and Dis lost your brother, Ferin. I too have a younger brother and sister. Before I was pulled into middle earth, I had just saved my younger sister Hanna from pledging herself to a cult. I try not to get involved with my family. I am the odd ball so I let them live their lives and I live mine. Ted was the only one my age.

The older cousins looked on me with scorn because I was different and younger than they. I am the way I am because I spent the majority of my life to prove to my family that I was worthy of being liked. That I was worthy of some little bit of praise. After I came of age I basically disowned them. When I brought Hanna, the family's golden child, back to my relatives it had been the first time I had seen them in many years. Most of them didn't even recognize me. One of the few that did was a cousin who had been but a babe when I last saw her. Little Kaylie, she was so young and naive to the harsh ways of the world. It was the younger cousins that made me stay. My brother had grown up finally. He was no longer the whinny little brat who couldn't hold his own in a tumble with the older boys. He was tall and strong, but he still couldn't beat me even if he tried. Ted, that ass. He the one to voice what everyone had been thinking. He asked me where I had been for so many years."

"He represented everything that you hated about your family didn't he?"

"Yes. He did."

"And Kaylie was what you loved am I right?"

"Right again Thorin Oakenshield."

(Rose's Pov)

"Well done Rose." Raweru said startling me and Thorin "I can feel that you have settled your raging emotions about your cousin's death and in doing so let go of the baggage that has weighted you down for so long. Come let your training begin." When she finished speaking she walked away. I followed after as though bespelled. Thorin followed behind. We walked over to the east side of the training field where Ashley was still practicing the art of controlling her energy flow when healing chuck while Fili watched.

"Go join Samantha and Cree." Raweru instructed and the three obeyed without question. "Now Rose focus on the water. Pull it towards you. Feel its pulse, the way it moves to its own time separate from the rest of the elements. Can you feel how it almost has a life of this own?"

I could feel four different pulses around me. Two of them came from above. One for below and one from right in front of me. I focused on the pulse of energy in front. It felt strange like a combination of smooth and rough, light and heavy at the same time. It seemed to resist me and long to flow free. It pushed away from me, so I pushed it the way it wanted to go. The water seemed to want to do the opposite of what I wanted it to. So when I pushed it away, it flowed towards me.

"Ah I see that you have figured out water's little trick. To get it to do what you want you have to command it to do the opposite unless you are able to get it to listen. Now show me what you can do." Raweru praised and instructed me. I smiled to myself. When I was younger I would spend hours swimming and playing in water. I had a few tricks up my sleeves. I bent and rolled up the bottom of the pants I was wearing. Once I had gotten the pants rolled up past my knees, I took of my boots and socks and stepped into the river. It had a light current that flowed around my legs.

I urged the water to go into a shallow straight pillar. So naturally it did the opposite, shooting into the air in a tall spiral of glistening water. Next I urged them to grow about five feet and twist into a barrel roll. To my astonishment it did just that. Raweru must have noted the look of surprise on my face and called out to me, "Rose, tell the water exactly what you want it to do. Give it a command just like you would a stubborn horse."

I cast my mind back to when I was younger. My uncle was gone at work and was in charge of my sister and getting the chores for the horses done. Hanna and I had finished the chores.

"Rose, I want to ride."

"Alright Hanna come on you can stand by the fence. I'm gona go get Promise and Pepper." I grabbed two lead ropes and two halters. I went over to the fence for the north pasture and whistled. Promise, Molly and Molly's colt Bam Bam came up to the fence. Pepper was refused and stood alone out in the pasture. I sighed and grumbled to myself about how Uncle should let me ride Nox instead of Pepper. But I knew that I couldn't ride Nox because his leg was still recovering. I put one of the lead ropes around Promise's neck to let her know that she needed to stay still and lower her head so I could put the halter on. Promise was a sweet old thing and had been trained by the best of the best, my uncle. After I got her halter on I led her through the gate to my left that lead to the riding arena and let her wonder around with her halter on. Hanna was sitting on the fence watching me and the horse. I gave her the lead rope and told her to stay on the fence until I came back with Pepper. She swore she would so I nodded and walked out into the North Pasture.

"Pepper." I called to the horse. She looked at me in a way that said, 'I am eating. Shoo"

"Pepper." I called again and this time she begrudgingly left her patch of grass and came up to me.

"That's a good girl. Here I brought you a treat, but don't you dare tell the others." I said to her pulling out and feeding her one of the carrots I put in my pocket from last night's supper. I hated rabbit food but it was one way to get Pepper to listen. I put the lead rope over her neck and got her to put her head down low enough that I was able to put the halter on her. There was a stump nearby that was tall enough that it would allow me to get on her back. I led her over there and climbed on top of it. She stepped away before I could hop on. I got off the stump and led her back into place. Once I again I got up on the stump and once again she stepped away before I could hop on. This happened six more times before I got sick off it and led her over to a fence. There a section of the fence where it is fence on one side and trees on the other. The trees are close enough that she couldn't step out of range by side stepping. I got on the fence and hopped on before she could move.

"Who is more stubborn now Pepper?" I ask her chuckling. With that we rode over to the gate to the riding arena. I couldn't reach the latch from up on Pepper so I had to dismount. When I did she nickered at me in a way that suggested laughter.

"Rose focus." Raweru called snapping me out of the past. I looked and saw the water was replaying the memory. I chuckled as the watery girl finally got on top of the horse. I waved my hands to the side and the water returned to the surface of the river.

"Well you have mastered that one. Now let us begin on earth."

"I think you will find that earth is more stubborn than water. Unlike water, the ground is violent when it changes. It will either create or destroy if not properly controlled. You once again know this better than most. Tell me what makes the ground change in a way that is not so extreme." Raweru said to me

I once more thought back to my younger years. Before my school years started I often played outside in the mud...mud! Mud is a form of earth, all I need to do is add the right amount of water. I kneeled on the ground close to the river and picked up some dry dirt. It squished easily between my fingers even though it was dry. It is good farm soil. This dirt is similar to the dirt at home. To most people dirt is dirt but to those who grew up on a farm you learn how different various types of dirt can be. This won't take every much water to get it to be how I want.

"My answer is water alone or with wind. Wind alone can also make earth more...pliable."

Raweru smirked, "Well done. Now just like Water, Earth also has a pulse. Focus on it. Bend to do things the way you want it to."

Just like before I could feel four pulses. I focused on the one beneath my feet. I called to it and it resisted my call.

"Use more command!" Raweru snapped at me "Earth is the opposite of water. It requires a more firm hand. Tell it EXACTLY what you want it to do. Think of it as a disobedient pup. Unlike water you may have to command it aloud."

I tried once more to control the ground silently, focusing on just the soil between the river bank and the grass. "UP INTO A COLLUM!" I yelled in my head, using the same tone as I did when I was the drill commander for the boot camp I had been hired to work at when I was 18. I had to be resigned because I kept making the new recruits pee themselves in fright. The ground exploded upwards into a column three times my height and twice as wide.

"Don't yell just be firm. What effect did yelling ever have on you? Think of that when you command your powers or when you are in charge of your friends." Raweru sighed

"Shrink until you are my height and length." It complied quickly and seemed almost eager to please. "Good. Now let's see if you will comply with mental images."

I imagined the soil separating at the bottom to form legs. It did so before my eyes and I smirked to myself. I was going to have fun with this. I imagined arms and a torso forming followed by a head and neck until a body was formed completely of soil. Suddenly an image came unbidden to my mind and the dirt person's blank face took on the features of a book character I had hated when I was young but now understood all too well. The long hooked nose, the cold eyes, the greasy looking hair, the long cape-like clothes and cloak. I had unintentionally formed Severus Snape out of dirt. Then Snape turned to Sirius Black then to Draco Malfoy then to Ginny Weasley. I watched as all these book characters shifted before my eyes, as the earth took control of the shifting. They switched from Harry Potter Characters to people from back home and I could only watch in horror as the dirt played out certain scenes of my life. Times I didn't even realize happened.

"Rose snap out of it!" Raweru called but I was too far gone watching the soil.

(Thorin's Pov)

The dirt formed a little three year old girl playing on the ground pretending to be a dog close to a bunch of people in chairs. The little girl looked like a younger version of Rose. She put her head over the doggie dish right as the house dog turned up. The dog grabbed the girl's head in its jaws and held her there for a moment before letting go and shoved her with its head towards the people whose faces showed fright. A woman who looked a little like Rose rushed forward and grabbed her. 'Perhaps that is Rose's mother.' I thought to myself. From the way the woman's mouth was moving it was my guess that she was screaming.

The scene changed. The dirt Rose looked about six or seven. She was sitting on a tall horse. There was a woman standing beside it. 'Possibly an Aunt.' The woman I guess to be Rose's mother was standing in front of three. She was holding a strange object. It looked like a box and it had little bumps on it. Rose's mother touched one of the bumps and the horse spooked. It started bucking. Rose jumped on to the woman beside the beast and was put down while the woman reined the animal in.

"Thorin grab her!" Raweru cried to me. I ran to Rose. When I reached her, she was shaking with her eyes were rolled back in her head and she kept mumbling something like "Nooo. Can't have happened. Not possibl-" I couldn't think of anything to do so I covered her eyes. She immediately stopped shaking and the mumbling also ceased.

"You can remove your hand Thorin. She will be fine now. I think that I had best teach her how to control earth last."

(Sabriel Morwen's Pov)

I watched in my mind as Rose's training with the strange woman progressed. It was a no-brainer that water would be easy for Rose to pick up. Fire too would be easy for Rose seeing as she used to play with fire. Hell the 'title' that rat gave her tells just how easily Rose will be able to control that element. I am sure that wind and light will be difficult for her.

"Rose, Raweru said that fire is next." the dwarf holding her said. "Let me rest a moment Thorin. The soil took its toll on me." So that is Thorin Oakenshield. He looks the same as in the movies from back home. "I will get Ashley, she can heal you then you can keep training."

I don't think that Rose looks like she wants to leave the dwarf's arms anytime soon. But then she frowned to herself and agreed with him. I sighed, it looks like she is in for yet another bumpy ride.

(Rose's Pov)

Damn dwarf. Is he that blind? I just frowned and shook my head. Males, no matter what race they are always so clueless.

"Alright." I sighed as Thorin called Ash over to us. She came quickly and healed my aches and pains. I shooed her away and stood up. "Raweru I am ready. What's next?"

"Wind rather than fire."

Damn. This is going to hurt. I have never gotten along with the wind. True I did grow up on the plains. But I was constantly at war with both the wind and the ground.

"Why the unease child?" Raweru asked

"I... I would like to keep that secret to myself."

"As you wish. Let us begin. Wind is not like the other elements because it like light is not confined to one area. So to train with the wind you first must summon it. Breathe in deeply and close your eyes. Now let out a low echoing whistle. Feel free to add to it as you see fit."

I did as asked adding a second and third whistle of a higher and then lower pitch. The sounds echoed around the valley, before they faded into silence. Wind could be heard rushing into the valley. It reached where I was standing and began to swirl around me in a tornado. Behind me Alex's wings caught the breeze and she was forced into the skies.

Raweru called to Alex and somehow her voice carried to the dragon over the noise of the wind, "Alex. You need to fly higher so that the wind currents don't end up breaking your wings."

The dragon nodded and flapped her wings. She flew higher and higher until she reached a height that made it difficult for her to breathe, but at least she was now higher than the tornado could reach.

Raweru turned to Rose. "You summoned too much wind. To get rid of some of it, whistle again this time blowing out in one clear note."

I tried and succeeded. The tornado whirled itself into nothing and disappeared. However a strong breeze remained. When Alex felt this from above, she glided down on tired wings.

"Good but it should not have been necessary. Now that we have a good amount of wind let begin. You should use your hands to direct the wind flow to start with, as you get better you will be able to control it with your mind as easily as you do water. Now watch me and mimic what I do. I can't control wind but I can show you how to."

I watched as Raweru made a come here motion with not only her hand but her whole arm. I copied and felt as the wind rushed towards me. Raweru shoved her hand out in a stop motion. I did as she did and the torrent of wind stop right in front of me swirling about in a smaller and more manageable version of the tornado from earlier.

"Now try moving your hands in different motions and watch what it does." I nodded to her and then looked at my hands. I thought for a moment before doing a version of the sugar plum fairies dance with only my hands. The wind split itself into two tornadoes and began to follow the motions that my hands made. It was both funny and yet sad for me at the same time. It brought back memories of watching the cartoon version of the Nutcracker on Christmas morning with my siblings when I was younger. I steered my thoughts away from that and focused on the task in front of me.

"Well done once again Rose. Now try putting water and wind together. To do that control the water with your mind and the wind with your hands. Do you think you're up for the task?"

Instead of answering with words I commanded the water to rise in the form of a creature from the Greek myths. The water slowly formed the hind legs, tail and head of a bull with the torso of a man. It was the Minotaur.

"What in Durin's name is that thing?" Dwalin exclaimed

Luckily Sami saved me the trouble of answering so I could focus. I commanded the two element with my mind and hands to react the battle between Theseus and the Minotaur. But I added a little twist, instead of stabbing the Minotaur and one of his horns, the air Theseus parted the ground (water) and had it swallow up the Minotaur.

Then I let the water go and sat on the ground. I felt exhausted and like I was going to faint. My hearing began to get ready fuzzy and everything was starting to grown dim. I shook my head to clear it and then sat with it between my legs and took deep breaths. After a few minutes I could hear clearly again and my sight had returned to normal.

Everyone was standing around me with concerned looks on their faces. Everyone except Thorin who was kneeling by my side.

"Guys I'm fine. Really I am. I was just feeling light-headed after controlling two elements at once." I said trying to alleviate their concern. When that didn't work I snapped at them "Will you all quit staring at me like I'm going to fall over dead!"

"Hahaha Yeah she is alright." Ashley laughed and only then did the others lighten up.

"I think it would be best if she ate before continuing her training. The rest of you have the night off. Come back out here two hours after dawn tomorrow. Rose I want you back out here after supper. Thorin too. Oh and ladies, the elves have laid dresses for each of you in your respective rooms. You are expected to wear them. I am sure that Alex and show you where to go. Samantha the elves laid out a second option for you in your room. Alex you can wear your current dress. Now be off all of you. Dinner is in an hour. Rose, Thorin would you two stay behind for a moment." Raweru said

After everyone left Raweru spoke, "You two need to be back here after you finish eating. I will have some fireproof clothes set in your rooms Rose. Now Thorin I know that you have a map containing moon runes on it. Either Rose, Elrond or myself could read them for you but we won't be able to read them for another two weeks. I urge you not to say anything about to Lord Elrond. During these two weeks I will be training you Rose and your friends. You will need them to have mastered their powers if you want to come out of this quest alive. Rose, you need more training than your friends because you can control the elements. You have mastered two of the six and completely failed to control another. After supper we will cover the other three elements. I want you to understand the basics of all six.
