~I only own my Ocs and the chaos they might end up causing Please Review or tell Pm me with ideas. This story is long overdue for a fixer upper. I am still looking for a beta. If anyone would want to volunteer that would be great! Just leave me a comment or PM me saying so. For any and all mistakes I take full credit. I am currently going back through my fic and fixing some mistakes and maybe adding or cutting some things out. Thank you to my reviewers, and the people who followed and or favorited my story. This chapter will follow only bits of the movie, I have to change it to fit the OCs. OCs in this story are based off of people in real life that I see almost every day, and yes they really do have these personalities. No flames, the dragon fire later in this fanfic will be hot enough for me thank you. Now on with the story!~

P.S. This is now officially an AU

Anything in elvish will be in bold

(Sabriel Morwen's Pov)

They were finally leaving the Elvin safe haven after two weeks of resting for the dwarves and training for the other six people from my world. Rose had mastered the main elements and some of the sub-elements as wells as the elements sub-forms. Ashley no longer fainted after healing a bunch of minor injuries and was able to stay standing after healing several major wounds, all of which had been in flicked on Chuckles since if he died he would just regenerate. Charlie now took less time to come back to life and had brought back a young elfling who had been mortally wounded during a crossing from the grey havens to Rivendell. The elfling had died two hours before Charlie gotten to him and brought him back. Both of the shifters now took less than a second to shift and Samantha had figured out how to quit lighting up like bloody beacon every time she shifted forms. Cree never left her side. When I watched everyone through my mind's far-sight Sami often had a wolf at her side as well as Cree. Once or twice a small grizzly had replaced the wolf.

Alex's dragon form had grown after the first time she shifted. The first time she transformed into a dragon she had been about 16 meters or roughly 52 feet. Now she is close to 150 feet long. My guess is that the red and golden dragon in Erebor is at least 300 feet long. Macy tuned a great deal of Rivendell's flowers purple with white and pink music notes on them before Elrond had gotten upset and made her change them back. But my friends had not been the only ones learning control and strengthening their powers. I too had been learning under Raweru's instruction these past weeks. Through mind speech and showing her what I saw we were able to train just as easily as the other six. I could now do astral projection and I had often shook up Goblin town just to keep them on edge and to keep them so busy with repairs that they didn't have the time or energy to come after me. It was going to storm tonight and I had a feeling of where the company would be resting for the night. I backed up, snuffed out the remains of my fire and headed out to the cave where the company would most likely rest in tonight.

(Sami's Pov)

"Damn it Thorin we need to find shelter!" Rose yelled over the storm that raged about us. The bloody fool hadn't listened to me or Rose when we had told him that there was going to be a storm tonight. He had just said that if there was any trouble with wind, water and lightning that Rose would be able to handle it. Well Rose had been battling the wind and rain for the past three hours, keeping us in the eye of the storm but she was tiring fast. The stone giants would be out to play soon and she wouldn't be able to stop the boulders they were going to throw.

"Come on!" Was all the reply she got. When Rose nearly fell off the edge of the path we were on I grabbed a rope from my pack and tied it around first myself then Rose. I told Rose to quit using her powers and take a rest. They moment she let go we were hailed on by Rain and assaulted by the wind. Thorin looked back and saw Rose leaning against my side and finally got it through his thick head that while Rose may have mastered all the elements she is still new to her powers and is not invincible. Then Bilbo started slipping only to be caught by Dwalin and Bofur.

"We must find shelter." Thorin yelled like it was the first time someone said it.

"Look out!" Dwalin yelled into the wind. Coming toward us was a bolder the size of a bus. I knew what was going to happen soon and told Rose to save her energy. She nodded in agreement. When the bolder it the mountain it broke into smaller pieces that were still rather large. Parts of the mountain as well as the bolder fragments rained down on us. Everyone pressed hard against the side of the mountain. When the boulders passed Balin yelled, "This is no thunder storm it's a thunder battle!" Rose must have also been lulling the damned Stone Giants into remaining asleep. Now they were awake, heaven help us.

He pointed to the stone giant that emerged from the side of another mountain, "Look!"

As we watched the giant tore a huge chunk of rock of the mountain next to it.

"Bless me! The legends are true! Giants, stone giants!" Bofur yelled as the giant through its rock at another approaching giant.

"Get back you fool." Thorin yelled at Bofur.

The ledge we were standing on was made even narrower by a falling rock. The path spilt between Fili and Kili

"What's happening?!"

"Kili grab my hand!"

Fili yelled reaching out to his brother as they got further apart. I had forgotten that we stood on the knees of a stone giant. When our giant was hit by another its right knee came close to a nonmoving part of the mountain. Thorin, Gloin, Oin, Macy, Alex, Balin, Dori, Charlie and Fili were safe for now. Bilbo, Dwalin, Ori, Nori, Bifur, Bofur, Bombur Ashley, Rose and myself were still on a giant that was about to have its head taken off by another. As our giant fell its knee almost collided with the mountain. We were going to die. I heard Rose's shout of pain, saw a flash of lighting and felt myself fall on to the sturdy, newly widened path of the mountain side. Off to our side Thorin cried out "No! No! Kili No!" They rushed towards us as fast as the steep path would allow. I lifted my head and saw Dwalin coming over to me. Someone yelled "We are alright. We're alive."

"Where's Bilbo? Where's the hobbit?!" I cut Rose loose from my belt. And rushed over to the edge to try and help Bilbo. Dwalin grabbed me by the belt to stop me from falling over the edge. I shifted into a long tailed monkey and Dwalin hand slid away until he was able to grab my tail. Even with my extra reach I still couldn't get to Bilbo. Dwalin pulled my back by the tail and I screeched at the pain that caused. While I was distracted Thorin swung down and grabbed Bilbo. He pushed the hobbit up and then his hand hold on the mountainside broke and Thorin started to fall.

~HEHEHEHEHE bet you weren't expecting that were you? Well what do you think? Yes yes I know shut up and start writing the next chapter or you will find and hurt me yes I know.~
