~I only own my Ocs and the chaos they might end up causing Please Review or tell Pm me with ideas. This story is long overdue for a fixer upper. I am still looking for a beta. If anyone would want to volunteer that would be great! Just leave me a comment or PM me saying so. For any and all mistakes I take full credit. I am currently going back through my fic and fixing some mistakes and maybe adding or cutting some things out. Thank you to my reviewers, and the people who followed and or favorited my story. This chapter will follow only bits of the movie, I have to change it to fit the OCs. OCs in this story are based off of people in real life that I see almost every day, and yes they really do have these personalities. No flames, the dragon fire later in this fanfic will be hot enough for me thank you. Now on with the story!~

P.S. This is now officially an AU

Also I was reading over my chapters *winces at my early writing before redoing it* and found that while I did describe Rose's, Sami's, Ashley's and Charlie's eye color changes I failed to do so for Macy and Alex. So here is a list of every one's eye colors;

Rose - Gold with silvery blue flecks in the shape of lightning bolts
Sami - Amber with dark brown flecks in the shape of paw prints
Ashley - Violet with chocolate flecks in the shape of plus marks
Charlie - Light blue with white and black flecks in no particular shape

Macy - Blue with forest green flecks the shape of leaves
Alex - she has cat eyes, the outside is dark blue and the iris is dark brown

Sabriel Morwen - White with blue swirls through them

Italics is mental speech

Anything in elvish will be in bold

(no one's Pov)

"Thorin!" Dwalin cried as he watched his king and best friend fall into the depths of the cannon below. Sami shifted into a large eagle but she was unable to lift off since the winds battered at her wings. Alex had the same problem. With their shifters unable to help, their elemental unconscious and their ropes too short to reach their falling king the company was force to watch as their king fell down further and further into the cannon. After Thorin had fallen about half way down the cannon it seemed like he was grabbed by the boot and started to rise out of the cannon.

There were more cries of "Thorin! Thorin!" As the company watched their leader was hauled out of the cannon and back onto the ledge by his boots. The moment he landed back on the ledge he was bombarded by concerned company members and the five still conscious people from our world.

"Thorin how did you do that?" Balin asked his king

"He did not do that. He cannot fly nor can he manipulate the winds or fly with a thought. I however have the power to move man, beast and object with my mind. Besides I doubt this quest would succeed without Thorin to lead it. Just as it would undoubtedly fail without the hobbit so the flak you were thinking about giving Bilbo will just have to wait until it is true Thorin Oakenshield." A young woman's voice said from inside the cave. All those who were conscious from our world recognized the voice.

The voice kept talking as its owner, a woman wrapped up in a cloak, stepped out of the cave heading in Rose's direction, "What has she done to herself THIS time?! Oh wait that's right I remember some fool dwarf told her to keep this company protected from the elements. Just because she is the first person to ever master all the elements and bind them to herself DOES NOT mean that she has an unlimited supply of energy!" As the woman turned to yell at the dwarf she had just rescued her hood was blown back by the wind. Now that it was no longer restrained by the hood her long blonde hair swirled around her. She had a thin frame but she just used that to deceive her enemies. Not many girls with her build were as strong as she was. Her eyes blazed with frustration. Her eyes were white with blue swirls through them.

"Are you going to just stand there with your mouths open or are you going to get your crap together and get out of this weather." She said slinging Rose's arm over her neck and hauling the larger girl inside the cave.

"Ashley get your butt over her and heal her, so her body can focus on rebuilding her energy." The woman snapped

Ashley immediately went to her side and began to heal her friend. After she had done that the woman shooed her away so she went to stand by Fili.

"I am going to bring her back to consciousness so you may want to back up." the woman advised

"Who are you?" Thorin demanded as his company backed to the far corner of the cave each and every one of them had had the dangerous job of waking the dragon lady and now had the sense to stay far away from her in the morning. After she had mastered the elements she had taken to breathing fire that those who tried to wake her. So far the only ones who hadn't gotten burned so far were Thorin, Sami, and Alex. Charlie's burns and been so bad that he had died and had come back to life from them after being healed by Ashley.

"A friend. You may call me Sabriel Morwen. Or Sabriel for short"

Sabriel held her hands on either side of Rose's head and started to mumble.

(Rose's Pov)

I drifted between slumber and consciousness with my last memory replaying over and over in my mind. Sami, I and the dwarves that were with us stuck on the stone giant's knee as we came crashing towards the mountain side. I was weak and weary but somehow the thought of being forced to leave middle earth that way drove me over the edge and I had thrown my arms out as though to stop us and the mountain from colliding. I pulled the path the lead along the mountain side out more and used lightning to act as a barrier so we wouldn't be squished like bugs against the windshield of a car. Then I was ripped from consciousness and let out a cry of pain as I was sucked into the blackness I was currently surrounded by.

"Come back to your friends. Come back to the dwarves you relied on in your youth. Come back to Thorin. Come back to us. Come back to the sisters of your heart. Come back to Ashley, Macy, Sami, and Alex. Come back to your friends"

I recognize that voice! I call out with my mind fighting to claw my way back to awareness, "Bailey! Bailey!"

"Rose follow my voice. Come back to us. We are in the entrance to the goblins cave. We need you."

"I seem to be stuck. How close are the goblins?"

"They are on their way to pull the levers to open the trap doors beneath us. Should I stop them?"

"No. We need to go down there so Bilbo can get the ring."

"But-"

"NO! He has to get that ring."

I was now close enough to being conscious that I could hear Thorin asking why I wasn't awake yet.

"She is close and I doubt you need to stay that far away any more. She can hear us talking." I managed to open my eyes right after Bailey finished speaking.

"Hey guys." I croaked out and smiled feeling completely reenergized. I was quickly surrounded by everyone. They all wanted to make sure I was okay.

"Give her some space. She needs breathing room so back up." Bailey said. At her voice I looked up at her and said, "You, young lady have a lot of explaining to do. To start when the fuck did you get here? Raweru said that you were here just not when or how you had gotten here."

The company looked at me in surprise. I ignored them and kept speaking, "Also why did your name get changed into the elvish words 'Mine Dark'? I won't deny that Sabriel Morwen sounds cool but really?"

"Yes really Dragon Lady! I will explain it all later." Bailey/Sabriel said. No one spoke for a while then I noticed that Sting, Orcrist, and my own sword had all begun to glow blue. I wasn't the only one who noticed though

"Bilbo what's that?" Bofur said breaking the silence

Bilbo drew sting part way out of its sheath and all around us the sound of slipping sand could be heard along with moving gears. I looked around and saw that luckily no one had put their stuff on the grab and it was all still on their backs. I noticed the cracks in the floor beneath everyone's feet.

I managed to shout "Fly Cree!" and felt myself fall into goblin town Sabriel and the dwarves right behind me."

(Sami's Pov)

I opened my cloak and let Cree out. She flew to a nearby rock and as I fell I yelled at her to find the wizard and not to follow me. I fell down into goblin town not bothering to shift yet seeing as I was the last one to fall. Bombur was in front of me and I didn't want to put too much more weight on the stack of dwarves that would surely be there by the time I finished falling.
