Hello all. I just wanted to say that I'm overwhelmed at the number of people who have read this fic, enjoyed with it and stayed with it for such a long time! I just wanted to say thank you to all of you guys, especially to those amazing, wonderful people who left me their lovely reviews, they really made my day :)

You can probably see this coming. Unfortunately I won't be updating this fic anymore. Whilst I had so many ideas in my head for where this was going to go, i just lost the inspiration and 'spark' for writing this. I guess a big reason is that evil charming is no longer my otp (except in headcannon), since David became a bit of a jerk to Regina in Season 2. So I just didn't get the inspiration I needed to continue writing this pairing. I'm truly sorry and hope you all understand.

At the very least i thought I'd share how I wanted this fic to end, to hopefully give some people who really enjoyed the fic, and the more recent readers, some closure.

Basically the way i started it off was that David was still very much in love with Snow, she was after all his true love. However, she was Charming's true love. David's heart still belonged to Regina. Charming and David are the same people. Over the time David experienced conflicting feelings towards Regina, whilst she tried to redeem herself for her son, and of course, with the guilt of what she had done to Charming now that she loved him, she wanted to make herself a better person, someone she believed David truly deserved. So they become friends, and Regina perseveres with the Charmings.

Over time Charming and Regina grow closer and closer together again. Snow starts to get annoyed. For example, he tends to Regina all night after her attack with the Dragor, and in the morning buys her cupcakes. I was going to have this cute scene where he feeds it to her ^_^ Snow begins to get annoyed. Other scenes I had planned was also a beach scene; Regina and Henry and Emma go to the beach, Snow and David tag along. Snow sees that Regina and David have grown much more closer as they play in the water whilst Snow sits out. I had planned a ton of cute scenes in my head with these two, like 5 chapters worth, but I've forgotten most of them sorry! Anyway, by now Henry and Regina have truly made amends, and David is more conflicted towards his feelings.

During all of this Regina is trying to accept that David is with Snow now and desperately tries to move on. I tossed over the idea of giving Regina a few dates, perhaps with oc characters, perhaps with Archie or even Doctor whale at the time haha If she did end up going on these dates she would have only ever been able to think about David and how she honestly believed she could love no one else. However, as most people in Storybrook hate her, it would've been hard to get Regina to go on a date. Anyway, David too was trying to accept their friendship and get back into his normal live as Prince Charming with Snow, but couldn't. Because he wasn't fully Charming anymore. David was a part of him. And David loved Regina. Regina and David at some point do have a serious conversation as to where they stand, and Regina cries because, ultimately she has to confess. She tells him that she is still very much in love with him, that when they were together he made her good. he brought light back into her world and her darkened heart. He made her whole. he changed her. But she concludes she just wants him to be happy, even if that's with someone else, his true love Snow. She agrees that she still wants to be friends with him and David does too, even though deep in his heart he wants something more.

I was going to stray away from the show. I wasn't going to bring Cora back and certainly not going to have everything that happened in Neverland and such. Instead, I was going to have the man who originally sought revenge after Regina when he sent Gold's Dragor after her tries to get his revenge again. He sets up a murder or some crisis in Storybrook and conveniently points all the evidence towards Regina, perhaps a murder where she had incentive to kill this person (i can't quite remember what I had planned). During this, the people of Storybrook already distrusted Regina and unlike the Charmings have not accepted her to be on their side. They suspect Regina as the cause and go after her, wanting her dead. Almost everyone, even Emma and Snow who at least suspect her (despite Snow and Regina's progressiveness in their relationship, and Snow's and Charming's unconditional love, Snow cannot but help have a nagging feeling that something may be going on between them and can't trust Regina). The only people who believe her innocence are David and Henry. David awakes Regina in the dead of night and tries to help her escape. Together they jump on a horse and he tries to help her leave Storybrook. She knows she'll forget her memories but otherwise she'll die. She tells him the last message she wants him to give to her son before she leaves, as she'll forget all about him.

However, before they leave the man behind it all (i would've probably given this guy a name) emerges, furious that they were trying to get away. he and Charming have a sword fight, as Regina, besides that time in the previous chapter, can still not conjure up any magic. However, when she sees him harm Charming as he desperately sacrifices himself for her, the emotions and feelings and everything comes flooding back. Her emotions for him; her true love. and it enacts the magic within her. she fires it at him and saves Charming. She runs over to Charming to see the damage that was done to him. Unfortunately her magic does not numb her attacker for long, who gets back up again. Whilst she is crying over Charming-who is still very much alive just weakened with a scar from the man's sword- and before she can attack again, the man whips out a bottle of dark powder. He throws it over her and Regina collapses into unconsciousness.

This man knew about Snow's fate with the sleeping potion and loved the irony of giving Regina the same fate. He then runs away before Charming awakes. Once the rest of the villagers, who had emerged to try and kill Regina that night, discover her, obviously it's too late. They have no idea what's wrong with her, not even Charming. They don't know it's a sleeping curse otherwise Henry would have kissed her. However, Charming tells everyone that it was the man behind the murder or whatever crisis I had planned, and that Regina was innocent. Snow and Emma and David than take her into the hospital, where she's strapped up to a life support. Doctor Whales informs them that she's in a coma and no one knows when she'll wake up.

After everyone leaves David is left in the room alone with Regina. I had prepared a very sweet moment here. Basically David's apologising for the situation they were in, how he left her for Snow when he was awoken from the curse, but how as much as Charming loves Snow, David, the man he is more than Charming, is very much in love with Regina. he pours his heart and soul out to her in his speech, and cries over her body. He then gives her one last kiss.

And true love's kiss awakes her.

Regina and David embrace. Everyone is alerted to the room, where the rainbow, clear light that seems to flow throughout the time everytime a curse is broken occurred. Snow sees them and realises what happened. She tells David that she wants him to be happy even if it's with her and it breaks her heart. Eventually, after quite a long time Regina and Snow do make amends, and Snow invests much of her time in her new child, Eva. Eventually, though grudgingly, the town does forgive Regina. And Regina gets her happy ending with David, the man she loves and her true love.

Wow longer then i thought. So yes, basically this is what I wanted to happen. I wanted the theme of David being her true love but Charming being Snow's to transcend throughout the fic, and that ultimately since the curse more David was emerging than Charming and Charming was kind of shedding off. Basically iRegina is David's only true love and Charming, who David used to be, is more of a memory. because the curse changed him. And Regina. and everyone. David is no longer Charming like Regina is no longer the evil Queen. Snow and Charming were each other's true loves, but now Regina and David are each other's true loves.

Again, I am very sorry that I was never able to write this out, because I tell you the ideas were all there in my head! I did attempt several times to write, but it just didn't flow onto paper. In fact, I remember struggling a lot when writing chapter 19. Because I just didn't feel the evil charming anymore.

Anyway, again I want to say a humungous thank you and give out many hugs to everyone who read this fics and supported me and it throughout its journey. TO everyone who took the time to review and just tell me their thoughts on it, they seriously meant the world to me. And to everyone who persevered with how long I took to update. And especially to the recent reviews and messages I have received in regard to this fic, with people still wanting me to continue. I am only sorry that I could not, and I do thank you all for understanding.
