Hi all!

I finally got my laptop sorted so, as i said, i have now uploaded my next chapter for Love Is Medicine! I hope you all enjoy this and I will be working hard over my summer holidays to write some more for both my stories. Also, if you guys read my other story, ill be posting the new chapter soon.

"Hello? Ritsu can you hear me?" Ritsu heard people talking. It was muffled though so he couldn't understand. A searing pain was going through him right now, so he couldn't focus on anything else. 'What's going on?' He thought to himself as the pain stopped and it was dark. 'Where am I?' Ritsu tried to move forward in the darkness, but he felt restrained. His could barely move apart from twitching his finger.

Takano was holding Ritsu's hand and he was unconscious. He couldn't believe what the doctors told him. He was going to kill Ritsu when he got out of the hospital. "Baka" He mumbled to him under his breath. Suddenly a finger twitched and Takano looked down to see Ritsu's hand grip slightly tighter on his own. He breathed a sigh of relief 'At least nothing really bad happened'.

After a few more minutes a doctor came in. She was quite young, with long blonde hair tied into a tidy bun and a pair of fashionable glasses sitting on her nose. She smiled at Takano: "Hello Mr Takano, I am Haruhi and I will be Onodera's doctor for the time being. He nodded to her "Thankyou for looking after him for me".

"No problem, it's what I do!" She replied happily. Takano watched as Haruhi took out a clip board and a pen. "Now, I'd just like to now a few more details about Onodera." Takano nodded again and let go of Ritsu's hand for a moment as he turned to the face the doctor completely.

"Right. Now, just to verify again what is Onodera's first name?"

"Ritsu"

"Age?"

"25"

"Immediate family members?"

"A mother, father and fiancé"

"And what's is your relationship with Onodera?"

"I'm his boss"

"Okay. What's his occupation?"

"Manga editor for Marukawa Publishing"

Haruhi paused for a minute to check what she wrote and Takano slumped slightly in his chair. 'Answering those questions about Ritsu was harder and more tiring than being an editor in chief' He sighed as Haruhi clicked her pen and went back to some more questions…

Ritsu had another pain in his head. Had he hit it? 'No idea' he sighed into nothingness. So many questions were running through his mind right now: 'What's going on?' 'Am I in hospital? Asleep?' 'Why am I hearing two muffled voices in the distance?' 'Where's Takano?'

He surprised himself at the last question. He was worried about so many things, yet that question was the one that he wanted to know the most. 'I'm an idiot' Ritsu thought as he twitched his hand again, suddenly cold for some reason. After what seemed like forever, his hand warmed again and he began to hear things more clearly:

"Hello? Ritsu? Are you in there?" 'Who was that voice?' He wondered. He was soon able to move his hand more and felt something else on it. Someone's hand…

"Ritsu? My name is Haruhi can you hear me?" Haruhi tried to talk to Ritsu and after a few seconds, she got a reply with the twitch of a hand. "He's beginning to wake up more now Mr Takano. You should try and talk to him".

Takano nodded to the doctor and faced Ritsu. To see if it would make him wake sooner, he pinched his cheek. Unfortunately, the desired effect didn't happen but he did get a grumble of a complaint aimed at him. 'Hmmm this is going to be fun…' Takano faced Haruhi again. "Can I do anything to wake him up?" He asked, an idea already forming in his mind.

Haruhi smiled evilly "Yep! He's not unstable so nothing you do will harm him. What are you planning? Hehehe". Takano was a little creeped out at how such a professional doctor turned so twisted within a second but it blew over him quickly as he told her the plan and went to work…

Ritsu suddenly felt cold all over. 'What the hell?' He complained to himself 'It's freezing here now!' He groaned a little, knowing that he had no coat with him and he didn't even know where home was. He began to hear the voices again: "Hehehe it is working! He'll be up in no time" and a: "I will love seeing the face on him when he wakes up" and then two people together! "AHAHAHAHAHA! High five for the awesome prank!" Once again, he began to feel cold and grumbled once more, making the two voices laugh more.

After a few seconds, Ritsu jumped up and stared straight at Takano when his senses came together. He didn't know what he looked like but his face set Takano off again and he began to laugh some more, accompanied by a doctor next to him: "What the hell Takano-san! What did you do?" He yelled, still feeling cold. Takano pointed at Ritsu, signalling for him to look at himself. "Oh my god! Why did you drench me in freezing cold water?! And why is the doctor laughing too? Wait, you're in on it too aren't you!" Ritsu turned red, but the other two were insure if it was from anger or embarrassment.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA"

"Stop laughing at me Takano-san!" Ritsu grabbed his soaked pillow and threw it. He was pretty shocked that it hit his target in the face, since he was never good at aiming and Takano normally caught anything that hurled towards him on a regular basis. "Ha that shut you up. Hehehe" Ritsu giggled as the pillow slowly fell from his bosses face, it would have fallen straight off but since it was wet it stuck. Ritsu faced away and began to actually laugh.

When the pillow fell off of his face, Takano gave Ritsu a death stare. When Ritsu saw this when he looked over, Takano began to walk towards him and he freaked out. 'Crap what's he going to do?!' He thought as Takano closed in on him.

SPLASH!

Takano tipped the jug of water next to him over Ritsu's head and huffed, wiping both of their grins away. Looking at the scene, Haruhi burst out laughing, alarming the two men. "Ahahahaha this is just too funny ahahhahaha!" She cackled, scaring Ritsu. He turned to Takano, who wasn't very put off by it. "Isn't she creepy?" Ritsu whispered to him but Takano shook his head, staring at Haruhi as he did. When Haruhi noticed she grinned and turned her attention to Ritsu. "Alright Onodera my name is Haruhi and I'll be your doctor until you leave. Hopefully you'll leave in a day at the most but first we just have to do a few blood tests and ask you some questions before you leave. I've already asked the basic questions to Mr Takano but there's a few personal ones you'll have to do yourself".

Haruhi looked over to Takano "But we'll have to change him first" She said to him. Takano nodded and handed Ritsu some clothes: "Just so you don't catch a cold, change into these". Ritsu nodded and scurried off, coming back a few minutes later, changed in dry clothes. Haruhi smiled and took his hand "Right let's ask you some questions! Some of these question are quite personal though so would you like Mr Takano to leave?" She questioned motioning towards Takano.

Ritsu thought for a moment and shook his head "No he can stay if he wants".

"Okay then, we'll begin then: Do you live alone?"

"Yes"

"Anyone come eat with you? I know it sounds funny but in your profession, most do that to make sure people eat"

"N-no its fine, Takano-san comes over every now and then but most of the time he just makes sure I eat lunch"

"Has this happened before?"

"Uh yes, one other time"

Haruhi paused to write then looked back up at Ritsu

"What has been your diet since that time?"

"…Uh well… It's been the same apart from when Takano eats with me…"

"Idiot" Ritsu round to see Takano looking at him annoyed. "You told me you had been eating properly when I wasn't with you. You lied to me. And after all that time I was worried about you…" Ritsu blushed a little.

"You worried?"

"Of course. Why wouldn't I?"

"That was kind of-"

"I'm your boss if you died I'd have to waste my time trying to replace you"

"I should have known that you would say that Takano-san. Just as I was about to think of you as a nice guy you shatter all doubts that you aren't."

"A little harsh of you to say" Takano crossed his arms and faced away from the other two. Ritsu did the same and looked away from him. "You say that just after you say my death wouldn't matter" he muttered. They grumbled an argument at each other for a while before Haruhi stepped in. "Now, now guys stop it. Ritsu I'll just need to take your blood then you can leave okay?" Haruhi smiled and Ritsu nodded. Takano nodded too "Thankyou Dr Haruhi" Haruhi looked over to Takano and Ritsu watched them. 'Their gazes are holding a little too long for a normal conversation' He thought then shook his head 'Why would I care? It's not like I'm jealous or anything! No of course not'. He giggled quietly to himself while looking down to the floor…
