He didn't know what was exactly happening but all Jou knew was that he was currently holding Taka up the wall by the throat. "You low life cheating bastard!" He screamed. Anzu couldn't help but watch in the background. To her all this was finding the situation amusing.

Meanwhile Atemu was walking down the hallway to Anzu's room. Jou had been gone for quite some time and Yugi insisted that he go look for him. Noises got louder as he reached Anzu's room and that's when he saw the whole situation. Taka was up against the wall Jou ready to punch the day light out of him. Atemu grabbed Jou's arms ripping him off Taka. As much as he was a hated bastard Jou should know better. "Stop this Jou," Atemu screamed trying to calm him down.

"He has thrown away the best thing he was ever going to have!" Jou cried. "All for slut like Anzu!"

Wide eyes went to the girl caught in all this. Well the one who caused it? Anzu! But why do something to one of her best friends? Emi, of all people. Anger was in Atemu's eyes now. "If Emi knew had to please a man I wouldn't need to do it," Anzu smirked emerging in a small black dress. She ran a hand on Atemu's chin. "And if Yugi can't please you, you give me a call."

Jou stood up; finally calm enough to think straight. He went to turn and thank Atemu for what he did but saw the horrific faces of the Motou siblings. Emi held her head in her hands in embarrassment. Yugi held her into his chest. How could no-one have seen this? During the last few months of high school Anzu gained a reputation. "Leave," Atemu screamed at the guilty party. "And don't go near my family!"

Aznzu smirked picking up her bag, Taka left moments later as he had to redress himself. On the way out his eyes caught Emi holding tightly onto Atemu. Deep down, he wanted to apologise for using her but in the end he couldn't allow himself to go to that low. Knowing that she shouldn't be alone tonight, Emi turned to Jou with pleading eyes. "Jou, can I stay in your room tonight?" Jou simply nodded. Yugi sighed in relief. He rather his sister stays with a good friend rather than someone he didn't know. Right now Emi didn't want her brothers to worry. They were here for time together, not to witness heartbreak and adultery.

That night Yugi and Atemu lay asleep, not caring about the event from earlier, knowing that Emi was safe in the hands of Jou. Yugi stirred slightly towards the door that connect their and Emi's old room where Yusei now "slept." Over Yugi's body a dark shadow engulfed his petit frame, his breathing becoming heavy and a weight pushing on his body.

In Jou's room, Emi and Jou lay side by side still awake. Before life turned for the worst the two used to just sit and talk. Tears began to form in the corner of Emi's eyes. Instinctively Jou pulled her close. Emi knew she should have told someone, anyone but whom better than Jou? Ever since Atemu had returned Emi's powers had too returned to her. Before the ceremony Emi could predict the future wih visions of the past, similar to the powers Isis had taught Heba back in ancient Egypt but now Emi was seeing visions that could potentially ruin Yugi's life. "Come on what's wrong?" Jou's voice was clearly scared.

"Help them Jou," Emi begged. "Yugi's in danger!"

CRASH! SLAM! SCREAMS! All this was coming from Yugi and Atemu's room. Jou and Emi quickly made their way to the room. Emi was right, her visions weren't just nightmares. This was all happening. Emi frantically tried to turn the door handle, it wouldn't move. It felt like a force was pushing back against it. Jou pushed her aside throwing himself into the door. It was a few attempts before the door opened revealing Yusei using some weird shadow magic to suffocate Yugi. Atemu was pinned against the wall, watching as his young lover was being slowly killed. He had to stay calm, h had to focus and summon his own shadow powers. Atemu focus on Mahad, non Mahad's warning and was a flash from his body; he appeared as the Dark Magician. Mahad stared at Yusei aiming his staff at him and using a spell to banish the darkness from him, ultimately getting Yusei away from Yugi. Atemu was released from the grasp and managed the strength to comfort Yugi who as able to regain his breathe.

Before Yusei was able to move again Kaiba and his goons grabbed hold of him and pulled him u of the room and away from the gang. Jou grabbed Emi's shaking body. What had the just witnessed? Was this just a taste of what was to come?
