Clary fought against the older womans grip. Clary saw out of the corner of her eye as sparkles appeared, coming from none other than Magnus.

The dark shadowhnter seemed to realise he was being put under a spell as he tried to stand and run. Luckily Magnus froze him like he had Sebastian before.

Clary stopped struggling with Maryse who let her go after a moment. She turned to look at her mother-in-law who cringed most likely from her eyes.

"I need to finish this." Clary said to Maryse.

"Finish what?" Alec asked for his mother.

Clary turned her gaze to alec who was restraining Jace. "I need to kill him. I need to kill Sebastian."

Jace was the first to respond. "No! You'll kill yourself!" He fought against Alec who let him go.

Jace walked over to Clary, cradling her face in his hands and staring into her eyes.

"I can't let him roam around free, I won't join him and I won't allow him to burn my home with my family in it. I need to finish this Jace."

"Please don't. We can-"

"There's nothing we can do. He will burn down this world. I kill myself and he dies. One life to save millions."

Jace shook his head, his eyes glistening. "You can't leave me!"

"I'm not scared. I don't want to leave you. But I can't reverse whatever he's done. Let me end this."

"Clary...I can't lose you. Not again. Please don't go."

"What other choice is there? He'll burn the institute if I don't and he'll make me drink from the infernal cup if I go with him."

"We can sever the tie-"

"We don't have the time or sword. Raziel isn't going to help us Jace." Jace stared into her face for a moment before he enveloped her into an embrace. She wrapped her own arms around him, breathing in his scent and listening to his breathing.

"Not that this isn't touching, what are you going to do Clarissa?" her brother's voice interrupted her thoughts.

"I'm surprised you're not looking to reverse what you've done." she hissed in her mind.

"I didn't exactly leave on the best of terms with the warlock."

"You killed him, didn't you."

"And you don't think we don't think alike."

Clary shook away from her thoughts. Jonathan was right outside, ready to burn the institute. Jace was holding her, restraining her from leaving and dark shadowhunters had infiltrated the clave.

Hey guys! this chapter is short but not because I'm lazy but because I kind of need help...this is more or less a filler chapter!

Should Clary kill herself to kill Sebastian or will i be creative and let her find a way to save herself? I have a few idea's on how to save Clary but I also have a few idea's of what will happen if she kills herself...I want you all to decide on her fate!

So please let me know and I will try to have an update by Saturday!
