This story is mainly told in third person about Gaku and Luna. Luna is a figure and Gaku is a human. The story starts around the time Night started malfunctioning. Luna and Gaku are already together. But when Gaku gets a phone call for work, Luna blows up. She wants to spend time with her boyfriend but he leaves her all the time. So after their fight, Luna decides to leave and go home. But when she goes home, she is slapped in the face by memories. Then the story begins on how a dysfunctional, lost figure falls for a human who just can't catch a break.

I do not own Absolute boyfriend or any of the characters.

Kazuhiko fell to the ground with a hand on his chest over his heart. The girl rushed to his side. She immediately tried some strange maneuver until it hit Naoki that his son scanned important material a personal nurse would know, so that if he were ever to collapse, she can help him. Like right now.

Taking deep breaths, and being guided up stairs, Kazuhiko explained he was okay. Then he smiled at the life sized doll. She smiled back at him. Naoki ran up stairs, looking around for a camera. When he came back down, he took a picture of his son and the doll. She was wearing the same simple gray and pink striped dress the miniature doll was wearing. But she seemed so …real.

When everyone was guided to the dining room the doll sat and ate with them. Kazuhiko introduced himself and his father and the staff as they buzzed around. She nodded, smiling at them. Her hair still looked like and electrocuted mess of curls.

"What is my name?" she asked in a quiet tone.

Naoki looked at her. Taking a sip of his water, he sat back in his chair, leaving the choice up to Kazuhiko.

"You don't have a name?" Kazuhiko questioned. She slowly shook her head.

"One was not imputed in my memory chip. But I can still place one in. Would you like to tell me a name now or later?" she asked.

If it's a girl, I want to name her Luna. Naoki's eyes widened, hearing his wife's voice. He placed his cup down on the table and cleared his throat.

"How about Suzy?...Or Ami?...Or R-"

"Luna. Let's name her Luna."

Kazuhiko nodded. "I like that! How about you?" he asked the doll. She nodded.

"I personally don't care for my name, but Luna is nice."

"Luna it is then. Luna, I'll show you to your room and tomorrow we can shop for clothes for you. Alright?" Naoki asked . She smiled and stood from her seat. She leaned over to give Kazuhiko a kiss on the cheek. Naoki stood from his own seat, walked up to Luna and walked her to the guest room. Following them from behind was Kazuhiko.

When they reached the room, she walked in and bowed to thank them, then closed the door after herself.

"I can't believe that actually worked!"

"Well it did. Now, head to bed!" Naoki shouted. He walked to his own bedroom and went to sleep.

Waking up, Luna studied the room. She slowly stepped out of bed, and walked over to a vanity set. She looked at her face and poked it. It was real! She then studied her hair. Pieces were everywhere. But she liked it. She looked around for a ribbon and used it to tie her hair.

She stepped out in the hall and was greeted by…Takahashi. He smiled.

"Naoki was unable to clear his schedule today so I will be assisting you in this shopping trip. Now everything may have a price tag but pay no mind to that. Just point and it's purchased."

She nodded. She followed the butler out the door on to a car for their shopping trip.

Sweaters. Luna soon learned that the most beautiful thing to wear was a sweater. So she bought as much as she could find. Then she has to get underwear, which was not her favorite but she got it anyway. Then they had to visit this last place: a hair salon.

"See, her hair is a mess. We were wondering if you could relax it. Maybe straighten it out. I will be willing to pay anything for it."

The stylist nodded. He lead Luna over to a chair put her head in a sink and started washing it.

"How do you like it? Nice, huh?" The stylist asked. Luna nodded.

"You did very nice work. Thank you." She bowed and walked out of the salon. The butler followed and they walked in their car that they used to get to town.

Back at the house, Naoki was in the parlor, playing a song. Luna ran in, wanting to hear the remainder of it. When he finished, she clapped.

"That was beautiful! Play again, please!"

Kazuhiko came in and hugged Luna. "I was waiting for you to get home! Come, let's watch a movie!" Luna nodded was followed Kazuhiko to the living room area.

A couple of years passed, and Naoki was once again in his parlor. He wasn't really playing a song. He just wanted to be away. His son was now 22 years old. Luna had been in this house for four years. Since she was awakened on Kazuhiko's birthday, naturally her birthday was on the same day as his. Naoki sighed until the duo entered the house. They were laughing and were headed to the living room. Lately Kazuhiko hasn't been treating Luna the way Naoki expected him to. They acted like friends…

"Kazuhiko! Come here!"

Kazuhiko entered the parlor. He sat next to his dad with a smile on his face. "Hey, dad!"

"Do you like Luna?"

"Of course I like Luna! She's great!"

"Then why do you guys act that way?" Naoki asked. Kazuhiko raised an eyebrow.

"What do you mean?"

"You act like friends. What is this? I give you the girlfriend of your dreams-"

"Um, girlfriend?"

"Yes! Girlfriend!"

"Dad… sorry to break it to you but um….I don't like Luna that way."

"What do you mean?"

"I don't know I thought you were making me a….well…"

"Don't say it."

"A-"

"Don't-"

"Sibling."

Naoki sighed. Great. He creates this astonishing chip for a system to be programmed to love someone the way they are and it backfires on him by wanting to be as close as siblings. He placed his head in his hands.

"Hey, Luna! Come here for a bit."

Naoki looked up as Luna entered the room. She looked the same as she did on the lab table. She had dark brown eyes that can be confused for black, small nose, and thin frame. Her hair looked fresh out of the electric chair curly. She had a hair appointment tomorrow, though, so that would be fixed. She was wearing a simple v-neck sweater dress, and black tights.

"Did I do something wrong?" she asked in the doorway.

"No, I just want you to answer something for dad. When you woke up, what did you think of me?" Kazuhiko asked. Luna walked in and sat in front of both Kazuhiko and Naoki. She placed a finger on her lip.

"I wanted to get to know you. And when I did, I thought we would get along great."

"Would you date me?" Kazuhiko asked. Luna's eyes widened.

"If I have to, I will."

"But do you want to?"

"…Not really…" she answered. "I look at you as more of a…hm…Brother!"

"See dad?" Kazuhiko laughed and pat his dad on the back. "Nothing's wrong with us looking at each other as siblings right?"

"I guess not.." Naoki answered.

"So our family became bigger, so what?" Luna added with a smile. They all laughed. Takahashi the butler then entered the hall with a paranoid expression.

"Naoki, sir, my son is here. He got into…a disagreement with his mother and is wondering if he could work here."

"Absolutely!... As long as you tell him about our Luna," Naoki answered. Luna smiled. Takahashi nodded, thanking Naoki. He then left. Naoki instructed for his (now) two kids to go to bed. They obeyed and went up to their rooms. Naoki then went up to his room.

The next day, Luna awoke to an outfit placed on the corner of her bed. She smiled at the cuteness of it, knowing it was one of the maids. They love to clean her room since she was the only girl and had a bunch of outfits that they picked for her. She crawled out of bed and headed to her bathroom to get ready.

When she walked down the stairs, there was a man waiting. He wasn't one of the staff, but he was in one of their outfits. She stopped at the last step when he turned around.

"You must be the one they call Luna," he commented. It wasn't a question. He was a little taller than her, even though she was still on a step. He had very dark hair that was short, but had bangs that hung over his left eye. His eyes were a light brown, and he had a strong build to him.

"I am. You are…Takahashi's son, correct?" she asked. He nodded.

"Please call me Ichirou. My father said I could join you to for your hair appointment…" Ichirou looked Luna down and back up. He smiled. Takahashi then entered the room.

"Luna? Ready to leave?"

When they stepped out of the house, they got in the car and drove to town. They reached their destination, and they all three got out of the car. Takahashi was talking to the stylist introducing him to his son. The stylist was the same one from her first hair appointment. Luna hated getting her hair done because it made her blend in with everyone else. She enjoyed her crazy curls because it reminded her of how she was made. Luna looked out the window of the salon. She slowly inched towards the door. She snapped her head around and saw that no one was watching. She waited until a customer came in and she dashed out the door.

She started running. She didn't have any idea of where she was going, but she kept running straight. In fact, she ran straight into someone's chest, sending her and the person into a wall.

"Ow! Man, that hurt! Jeez…Hey, you okay?" The man asked.

Luna looked up to answer, and then everything went black.
