Powering on…
Luna slowly opened her eyes. They felt heavy. In the far end of the room that she was in, she heard a voice speaking.
"Yeah, I understand that, but she just dropped okay? I was walking, and then next thing I know I was pushed up against a wall…Yeah but….What do I…Bye."
Luna looked around. The voice on the phone was the voice of the guy she crashed into. Luna sat up fast. She turned her head quickly around the room to see where he was. He was too busy staring at his phone. But when he got off it, he turned and looked at Luna.
"Oh, hey, you're awake. I thought you were passed out for good," he responded. The guy was a tall and lean. He had very clear blue eyes and sharp face features. His hair was spiky and all over the place. Much like Luna's hair, but instead hers was curly. In his mouth, he held a lollipop.
He started to walk closer to her, and then Luna freaked out. She brought her feet up her chest and opened her mouth to speak…Except nothing came out. The guy luckily stopped moving and held his hands up in defense. Luna closed her eyes.
Speech temporarily disabled due to impact.
She opened her eyes. The guy scratched his head, removed his lollipop and began talking.
"Listen, apparently we were both walking, and we collided, and then you passed out. So I brought you back to my place until you woke up. You don't seem to have any scratches. So you okay?"
Luna smiled and nodded. She lowered her legs and placed her folded hands in her lap. She moved over and patted an area on the couch. He laughed and went over to sit next to her. He started to rub the back of his neck. Luna tilted her head. She pointed at his neck and made a wincing gesture.
"Um, I kind of got hurt when I crashed backwards into that wall. It's no-"
Luna turned him around and slowly started massaging his back. She had an article on how massaging can help pain inserted in her. The guy laughed, and turned around.
"It's fine, really. I'll live…So what's your name?" he asked. Luna spoke her name but nothing came out. She frowned. She placed a hand on her throat and made a thumbs down motion. The guys eyes opened wide.
"Oh…" he said. Then bursting through the door loudly was a…girl.
"KEEP YOUR PANTS ON, OR DON'T THAT IS ENTIRELY UP TO YOU, BUT, I'M HOME. And I brought food!" The girl shouted. She walked past the two on the couch and went in the kitchen. In the kitchen, she dumped a bag on the counter.
"You're extra loud today. Why is that?" asked the guy. He stood from the couch and walked in the kitchen.
" Well, aren't we going out tonight?"
The guy nodded and the girl smiled she grabbed her food and walked in the living room. She stopped when she spotted Luna.
"Oh…I didn't know you had someone over…Why didn't you tell me?" The girl turned toward the guy. He walked out of the kitchen with two bowls of ramen.
"You didn't ask."
He sat down next to Luna and handed her a bowl. Luna watched and as the two strangers ate in silence, she copied.
"I'm Shinju. Are you going to come with us to the club?" the girl asked.
Luna looked at the guy. He shrugged, and answered, "It's up to you."
Luna nodded. Shinju stood up and ran into a room. She came back with a dress folded in her hands.
"Here! You can't go dancing with that sweater thing! You can change in the bathroom, first door down that hall to the left," Shinju said happily. She picked up their bowls and went in the kitchen.
Luna followed the directions and went in the bathroom. While changing, she heard the conversation in the living room.
"So, she's cute. What's her name?"
"Don't know. Just bumped into her."
"You didn't ask for her name?!"
"I did, but she can't speak."
"Ah, okay."
Luna walked out in the hall to the living room, and saw they were gone. She walked over to the couch and sat down. A while later Shinju came out from the hall in a dress fairly short and the guy shortly after. All three of them walked out of the apartment into the street.
They reached the club and were, luckily, able to get inside. Shinju headed straight to the bar, And Luna stood close to the guy. He brought her out to the dance floor which was full of people moving around to the music. Luna was pushed from behind and fell into the guy's arms. He looked at her with his blue eyes shining and lowered his head. He whispered in her ear,
"I don't know if you can hear this, but, if you stay close to me, you won't be pushed as much."
Luna pulled out of his grip, to see him smiling at her. She returned the smile, and took a look at everyone around her. She saw how all the girls were dancing, and then she looked at how the guy in front of her was. Slightly scared, because the only type of dancing that entered her mind was the only video she assumed her father put in. It was a waltz, and seeing how everyone here was dancing, that certainly won't do. She would dance like the others, just slightly less provocative. She nodded to herself, and started dancing. It wasn't very good, but he didn't mind. He laughed and turned around so her back was to his chest. She felt a hand sneak around her waist, and looked up, which she saw the same blue eyes as before looking down at her.
"We didn't have to leeeeeave…" Shinju cried as they entered the apartment. Luna followed behind the two, Shinju using the blue eyed stranger as a walking stick.
"We did or you would have drunk the place dry. Here, let me take you to your room. Close the door please?" he asked Luna. She nodded and did what she was told. As the two left, Luna walked around. She spotted on the kitchen table a pen and notepad. Her eyes widened.
She picked up the pen and scribbled down on the paper her name. She sat down on the couch and awaited for the pair of blue eyes. He walked in and collapsed on the couch. He placed one hand behind Luna's head and smiled.
"Sorry you had to see that. Me and Shinju have been friends for years," he explained. He moved in closer to her, and used one of his hands to tuck a loose curl out of her face, and put it behind her ear. Then his hand traveled down her face, past her neck, until it reached her hip. He slowly began rubbing his hand up and down her thigh.
Luna squeezed the paper ball that she had her in her hand in a tight fist. She felt her chest tighten and her breathing quicken. If Luna had a heart, she knew it would be beating past normal rate.
It seemed as if the guy's blue eyes were studying Luna. It looked over her face, then past her neck, and down to her feet. Luna swallowed. It was as if he was looked her over as a person would if they hadn't eaten all day and were allowed in a buffet. He licked his lips, biting his bottom lip, and raised an eyebrow. Whatever was running through his mind must've been a good idea. As his face got closer, Luna saw the dark light in his eyes, as his head went under her chin, and kissed the bottom of her neck, which was the center of her collarbone.
Luna gasped. What was this? No one inputted this into her system. He didn't mind, though, as he kept going. Soon after a trail of kisses went up her neck, he paused just above her lips.
"I really wish I could know your name…"
Luna blinked a couple of times. She looked down at her hand. She moved it in front of him and opened her fist. He looked down and took the paper out. He read it.
"Luna? Your name is Luna?"
Luna nodded. He smiled.
"That's a pretty name."
Then he planted a kiss on her lips. Luna reacted fast by copying him. He seemed to be happy with that because he continued to kiss her, and she followed him. Suddenly, she felt him wrap his arms around her lower half, and she was being lifted up. He continued to kiss her, and he carried her to his room. In his room, the lights were off. When he threw her down on his bed, his crawled on her and he whispered,
"Call me Gaku."
Luna opened her eyes. She smiled to herself. She was alone in his bed. Gaku's bed. Wrapped around her was the blanket. She looked under and realized she was wearing nothing. Luna smiled to herself. She had a few questions for Gaku…What did you do to me? And why does it feel so good?
She rolled over on the bed, and realized everything smelled like him. Mmmmm…Gaku… Wait a second. She sat up. Where was he?
Getting out of bed, she couldn't find her dress. So she grabbed one of Gaku's oversize shirts and put it on. The sleeves hung over her hands which she tried to laugh at but nothing came out. She closed her eyes.
Speech disabled due to sudden impact.
She sighed. Better look for something to do!
Luna walked out of the room into the living room. She saw her sweater folded on the couch with a note. It had her name on it… She walked over to the couch and picked up the paper. Oh! It was the one she wrote her name on! But under it, in pink letters, read:
'Luna, huh? That's a pretty name! Nice meeting you, Luna! – Shinju'
Luna shrugged. She picked up her sweater and got dressed in it. She looked around the apartment and realized it was empty. Who would leave their house with a stranger inside?
Luna went into what she guessed was Shinju's room and cleaned up a bit, then went into Gaku's and did the same. Then she walked over to the bathroom and did the same. Nobody even came to stop by. Luna scratched her head then decided to go outside.
Out onto the sidewalk, she walked around for a bit. She didn't have Takahashi-san with her so she couldn't buy anything. She sighed to herself as she saw all the sweaters on display. She continued walking, then felt a tug at her arm. She turned around and looked into someone's…..chest? She quickly glanced up and spotted Ichirou.
"Luna?! Where were you? Me and my dad went looking all over for you! Are you all right? C'mon, I'll take you back home!" he shouted all too fast. Then he pulled something out that looked like a remote and tried to stab it into her heart but she pulled away too fast and it went into her arm. The her arm fell at her side, lifeless. What the….?
"Hey! Luna stay still! This won't hurt, trust-"
Before he could finish, a fist hit him dead in the face. Luna turned behind her and saw a pair of shiny blue eyes looking down at her.
Gaku pulled Luna behind him and pulled Ichirou up from the ground.
"What the hell?! Stabbing a girl in the middle of the street? I should beat the shit out of you for still standing here!"
"Technically, you're holding me up so if I wanted to run away, I couldn't."
"…Shut up!"
"Will the both of you be quiet? You're scaring Luna."
Luna snapped around to see Takahashi-san. She ran to him and hugged him. Takahashi hugged Luna back, and examined her arm.
"Tsk, tsk. If you want something done, you have to do it yourself. Luna, please go to the limo."
Luna nodded and followed what he said. Behind her she heard the three argue and Gaku was thrown into the limo a while later. He looked up at Luna and smiled.
"Nice to see you again."
Luna nodded, but couldn't wave because someone stabbed something in her arm.
