This story is mainly told in third person about Gaku and Luna. Luna is a figure and Gaku is a human. The story starts around the time Night started malfunctioning. Luna and Gaku are already together. But when Gaku gets a phone call for work, Luna blows up. She wants to spend time with her boyfriend but he leaves her all the time. So after their fight, Luna decides to leave and go home. But when she goes home, she is slapped in the face by memories. Then the story begins on how a dysfunctional, lost figure falls for a human who just can't catch a break.

I do not own Absolute boyfriend or any of the characters.

After having to pick her up and carry her on his back to the hotel room, Gaku planted himself on the couch, with his arm draped over his face and made a phone call. He was calling the person he knew would never speak to him.

"Kazuhiko speaking."

"Kazuhiko, I have a situation."

"...What?"

That was a shock. Gaku sat up and removed his hand from his face. "Luna won't turn on."

"Have you tried charging her?" he asked, unamused. Gaku looked at the bedroom, seeing Luna lying in the bed, the same way her placed her an hour ago.

"...How do I do that?"

"I'm just kidding. She may be a figure, but she doesn't run on batteries. Just go in there an give her a kiss."

With that he hung up. Gaku huffed and shoved his phone in his pocket. He got up from the couch and walked into the room, turning the light on.

"Just give her a kiss," he mocked. He sat on the bed next to Luna, and looked at her. "Where do I do it..."

*beep*

Kazuhiko: On the lips. Have fun!

Gaku looked at the message and threw his phone. Rubbing the back of his neck, he slowly lowered his head to Luna's face. Placing a soft peck on her lips, he moved away, feeling a spark shock his lips.

SYSTEM POWERING ON

Luna began opening her eyes. She quickly sat up, unaware of where she was. Suddenly she felt a hand on her back.

"Luna."

She quickly snapped her head in the direction of Gaku's voice and glomped him. Gaku raised his hands in defence, but quickly rested them on Luna's back, softly rubbing her back and rested his head on hers.

"I'm sorry I ruined our plans," Luna mumbled through Gaku's shirt. Gaku laughed, barely understanding her, and pulled her back, tilting her head up.

"Our plans are not ruined, we still have all of tomorrow to take this place by storm. That is if you still want to go with me," he sighed, and dramatically looked up. Luna smiled and kissed Gaku quickly on the cheek. She glanced down at her bracelet.

"Red...Happy," she bit her bottom lip, and hopped of the bed. "I guess I'll shower first...Unless..." Luna slowly turned walking to the bathroom, as she removed her shirt. Looking at her bracelet once more, she saw it turn from red to pink, for pleasure.

Luna slowly opened her eyes and yawned. Feeling an arm wrapped around her, she smiled turning around to see Gaku asleep next to her. Luna slowly got out of bed, and dialed the number for room service.

While waiting for their arrival, she began preparing herself for the day, by picking out her clothes, combing her hair, brushing her teeth; all the morning things. She her the knock for room service and passed the still sleeping Gaku, to get the food.

After eating breakfast alone, Luna walked over to Gaku sleeping bed. She crawled on the bed, and laid next to Gaku. Softly trailing the bridge of his nose, Luna sighed. She leaned in slowly and kissed him on the forehead and on the nose. With slight hesitation, Luna pulled away, at the last second before she would kiss his lips. She sat up and puffed her lips out. We were supposed to take the boardwalk by storm...

Gaku opened his eyes. In front of him, was Luna's back. He heard sigh, which brought one corner of Gaku's mouth up. He had already brushed his teeth, and could tell Luna didn't take notice. She probably thought he was still asleep. I didn't think closing a simple door, left this much sound out.

"So I don't get a kiss on the lips?"

Luna straightened up, and turned around. Gaku, already getting dressed, still had a huge smile on his face. Luna stood and walked over to his side of the bed. As he slipped his shirt on, Luna smiled and crossed her arms.

"That's earned," Luna explained. Gaku readjusted his shirt, and took a step toward Luna. Luna took two steps back. Gaku followed, and they continued like this until Luna's back met the wall. Taking a quick look at her bracelet, she saw it was red. Luna looked up at Gaku, who towered about five inches over her.

Gaku placed a hand by her head, and leaned his face in front of hers, locking his ocean blue eyes with her chocolate brown ones. Luna swallowed. For once, she felt nervous. Her breath quickened, just as her heart rate did. Gaku's calm expression, made her realize just how handsome he was to her. His great, strong jawline, matched with his spiked black hair, and a pair of chilled eyes, that had light flakes in them. For a second, the flakes seemed white, but Luna couldn't fully inspect, feeling his soft warm lips on her forehead, causing her breath to catch in her throat. Then he kissed her nose, which caused Luna to close her eyes, and Gaku hovered over her lips, allowing her to feel a slight warmth, which quickly left. Luna opened her eyes, and saw no one there.

She stepped off the wall, and walked in the mini living room of the hotel room, and saw Gaku putting on his shoes.

"I'll meet you at the elevator," he shouted and walked out the door.

The pair spent a majority of their day walking around the science museum. Luna was fascinated by the animals, and how they peacefully lived in their boxes. It reminded her of herself, and how she lived in a box, or more her house, this whole time. Then they went to the movies, and Luna couldn't get enough of that either. She wanted to see as many as she could, even though she forgot there was a price. She had seen movies before, but it was different in a theater, and much louder.

When walking once again on the boardwalk, Luna pulled Gaku to where she heard something. She was beaming knowing it was music, and kept pulling Gaku to dance with her. He disagreed, and took a seat down somewhere. Luna huffed, and started snapping to the beat. She danced around Gaku's chair, making him smile and bury his face in his hands. Gaku decided to start a list of qualities Luna had. One: Persistence.

A man passing by, saw Luna's dancing spirit, and offered her a hand. She gladly took it, and started a small dance with the man, who spun her into another man's arms, who also danced with Luna. Gaku finally looking up noticed the small crowd forming around where Luna was. He quickly stood up, and tried to break through to to see what was the fuss.

Luna was dancing. But not just dancing. She was dancing any and every dance, taking any man and woman out from the crowd and dancing with them. She even took some little kids, and older people. Gaku didn't even realize it, but he was grinning like no other, slightly baffled by the energized spirit she had. Two: Always happy. Though, he did take notice of how every guy was whispering about her. And was checking her out.

Gaku made his way to the front of the crowd, and spotted Luna spinning toward him. He caught her in his arms, and she opened her eyes, which gleamed at his.

"Changed your mind?" she asked.

"I just realized, I'm the best dancer here," he said with a wink, spinning her out again. Luna laughed she stuck her arm out, her bracelet glowing blue. Luna laughed as Gaku grabbed her hand, spun her in and dipped her. Three: Makes anyone playfully jealous.

After earning an applause from the crowd, Luna bowed. Gaku walked with her to someplace he knew she would enjoy.

"A ferris wheel! I've only seen pictures of one, but never been on one personally!" Luna exclaimed. Gaku laughed.

"Next two!" the guy instructed. The two walked in their cart, sitting across from one another. Luna started by looking out the window, practically pressing her face up on the glass. Gaku could feel his lips curling at how amused she was at the moving ride. Four: Innocence, he thought, A highly rated thing on any guy in his twenties list.

Luna slowly turned toward Gaku, and whispered, "It stopped..."

Gaku, who now took his eyes off Luna, looked out the window seeing how high up they were, and how the ride wasn't moving. Gaku started scratching his neck and cleared his throat.

"Wow, we're really high up now...H-how'd that happen?" he commented, looking down to see the tiny people walking around. Luna looked at her bracelet and laughed.

"I'm assuming this color stands for scared?"

Gaku looked back at her and chuckled. "I'm not scared...I just never noticed before how high this ride went."

"How come?" Luna asked, leaning back in her seat.

"I was always...preoccupied with the person I was with."

"Doing what?" Now she was interested. She leaned forward, placing her elbows on her knees, and resting her head on her hands.

"How about a change in topic? I found out this theory," Gaku added quickly. Luna's mouth twitched. In a quick second, he saw a flash of panic in her eyes.

"Gaku...Did I smirk?" Luna asked, eyes widening. Gaku nodded, biting the corner of his mouth on the inside. Luna let out a shriek of joy.

"I've never done that before!"

Gaku gave her a mini applause, seeing the genuine excitement in her eyes.

"Oh! You were saying something?" Luna added going back to her interested position. Gaku leaned forward, copying her pose. This had their noses a few inches apart. He looked in the upper right corner as if he had to think about what he was going to say.

"There is this theory, that if you look into someone's eyes for three seconds, no interruptions, no distractions, just their eyes, supposedly, you have a chance with them."

It wasn't a lie, but it wasn't the whole truth. The actual article said that three seconds in their eyes make you two fall in love. But all Gaku was doing was staring into the eyes of a living AI.

Luna bit her lip and smiled.

"Alright."

Gaku nodded. The two started.

One.

Gaku looked into Luna's brown eyes. Although systematic, there seemed to be a sense of emotion in them.

Two.

Just then a scream from down below was heard. Gaku laughed.

"Gaku!"

"I'm sorry. We'll start again."

One.

Luna was back to 'getting lost in his eyes'. How can one get lost in someone's eyes? They are only the organs of vision...Oh! Must concentrate!

Two.

"Did you just scrunch your face?" Gaku asked.

"Gaku!"

"Okay, okay.."

"...Was it cute?"

"Adorable."

"Okay, again!"

One.

Gaku sneezed.

"Gaku!" Luna shouted. Gaku held his hands up in defense. Luna shook her head at him, while Gaku laughed.

"Such an unusual way to say bless you."

"I guess it won't work," Luna sighed. She sat up, and stuck her hand out to playfully shove Gaku, when the ferris wheel roughly started up again pushing Luna forward. Gaku quickly caught Luna, their faces only inches apart.

One.

Luna stared into his ice cold eyes. If she knew better, she would have analyzed his eyes to guess his personality when they first met. She would have been able to tell his ice blue meant he was always serious when it involved his work. Though he had his moments where he was a comic relief. He would offer a sideways smirk to make any girls heart beat faster than normal. He also had a sweet tooth.

Two.

Her pulse was faster than normal. Gaku's grip lightened on her wrist, as he continued looking in her eyes. They were warm, and inviting, just as she was. The brown was soft, and never ending pulling him in deeper. It was a feeling that couldn't be described, but a feeling he wanted more of. It was making any feeling of loneliness disappear, and his energy being refilled.

Three.

It was as if the floor disappeared. They were no longer on the ferris wheel, they weren't at Odaiba. It was just Luna and Gaku. It was as if the stars were brighter, the sky was clearer, and the air was fresher. There seemed to be a bond forming, as if red strings were slowly tying them together.

Whether it was gravity, another swoosh of the ferris wheel, or one of the two leaned too forward, a kiss happened. Gaku's hand was no longer on Luna's wrist, but rather holding her face lightly angling it for a better kiss, and Luna's arm slowly fell, landing softly on Gaku's arm.

A French kiss?! Luna's eyes widened, but soon relaxed and closed.

Out, then in. Gaku repeated in his head, eyes still closed. Her lips...so soft...

As the ride slowed, Luna pulled away first, sitting back in her seat with two fingers on her lips. Gaku bit his lower lip, leaning back in his seat.

"Next two!" The man shouted as he opened the door. Luna and Gaku stepped out from the carriage walking silently next to each other to the hotel

It was a first kiss for Gaku. Not a first kiss for today, nor a first kiss on the ferris wheel, but a first kiss with someone he loved.
