First Year: January
Sirius jumped on the sofa, and put his legs on James' lap, which James easily pushed off, causing Sirius' legs to fall to the floor, which made Sirius huff and sit up.
"I'm bored!" Sirius compained.
"Do your homework," Remus suggested.
"No! I want to do a prank!"
"And what do you suggest we do?"
"I don't know! Hold on, let me think..." Sirius went into deep thought, trying to conjure a plan in his mind. Lily then came into the common room, walking over to Marlene and Alice, but was stopped by James.
"What do you want, Potter?" She asked impatiently. Lily was very annoyed at all pranks the Marauders have done over the past few months.
"Nothing, Evans. Just thought I'd say hi," James said happily. James then went back to his friends, and Lily walked over to her friends.
"Thought of anything yet?" James asked, as he sat back down on the sofa.
"I'm thinking," Sirius said, his eyes closed in concentration.
"As long as we don't get caught. I don't want another week of detention," Peter said, remembering the nights the boys spent in detention.
"I've got it!" Sirius suddenly exclaimed, jumping out of his chair.
"Keep your voice down, Sirius."
"But James, the idea I have is good I want to tell everyone!"
"But then people would know we did the prank, which would result in us having a detention," Remus pointed out.
"Fine. Fine!" Sirius grumbled, as he sat back down.
"Anyway, everyone will see the prank once we do it," Peter reminded Sirius.
"Yes! And it will be one of our best pranks yet!"
"Well come on then. Aren't you going to tell us?" James asked.
The Marauders then had a whispered conversation, where Sirius explained the prank.
"That's brilliant!" Remus said, and the other boys agreed.
"How are we going to do it?" James asked.
"Remus, you must know how to do it!"
"I'm afraid not. But I'll look in the library tomorrow," Remus said.
