My schedule has freed up finally so I'll be updated way faster like before! Since it took so long, I tried to make this one long. Thanks to the people who constantly review I appreciate it!
*Seth's POV*
"What's going on man?" I asked Roman after he let out a loud sigh while we, along with Dean, were in the pool.
"I'm stressed." he sighed again running a hand through his hair.
"Rox?" Dean asked raising an eye brow.
"Yeah. I know I fucked up and I'm trying so hard to fix it. We haven't fought, I did things to prove I listen to her and remember everything she says, I tried to prove I care and love her and I'm here and it's like it doesn't matter. She's fine with acting like we're together but she won't do it officially because she's terrified I'm going to cheat or something and I'm just at a loss. I don't know what to do to make her see I'm sorry and won't do something as stupid as I have to lose her." he stopped and took a deep breath "I really do love her. I know I'm bad at saying and showing how much I do but I really do. She's the only girl that's ever affected my mood this much. If she's happy I'm happy. If she's sad I'm sad. She can completely lift or completely destroy my mood. I love talking to her and being around her. I love everything about her, her perks, her flaws everything that makes her, her. But I can't seem to prove it."
"Sounds like you're trying to prove the wrong thing." I shrugged.
"What do you mean?"
"She already knew all of that before hand. Then you hurt her. So, how you feel really doesn't matter or make a difference. She knows that. You're trying to prove what she already knows."
"He's right. You need to prove she can trust you not that you love her." Dean spoke up.
"I'm stuck guys. I don't know how." Roman said leaning back onto the wall of the pool.
"I don't know." I lied. I had an idea of how he could but I couldn't bring myself to say it. I'm going to be there for Rox like I said I would but I'm not going to hand deliver and fix their problems. That's not something I was willing to do.
"I'm just scared she's sticking around for Jess." the defeated look on his face was the saddest I've ever seen him. As a friend I wanted to help but it wasn't my business, I decided.
"You'll figure it out." I said before dipping my head underwater.
*Roxs POV*
"Good job Jess you got it!" I said looking over her math sheet she just finished.
"I hate math! It makes my head hurt." she said while dramatically grabbing her head.
"Most of us do sweetie." I said kissing her forehead.
"Am I done for the day?"
I picked up the documents Roman had with the time table and when everything should be finished.
"Yes you are. What do you wanna do?" I asked putting the documents back on the table.
"Swimming!" she said getting up and running out the back door to the pool.
"Jess!" I said chasing after her.
She ran right up to the pool and yelled Seth's name. When he turned to look at her she jumped fully clothed into the pool. Luckily Seth caught her.
"Young lady what are you doing?" Roman said giving her a stern look.
"I wanted to swim."
"You don't swim unless you're in your swim suit." He said reaching out and grabbing her and stepping out of the pool.
"I want to swim daddy! I'm sorry."
"You can swim. In your swim suit now let's go put it on." he said drying off a bit before walking back into the house with her.
I sat on the grass near the pool.
"You don't want to swim?" Seth asked swimming to the corner where I was.
"Not really. I want to tan though. Look how pale I look." i said holding my arms out.
"Yeah..you're pretty ghostly." seth joked.
"Jerk." I laughed.
He smiled and Roman and Jess came back out with Jess running and jumping on Seth again. I got up and started walking towards the house to put on my swim suit so I could tan.
"Where you going?" Roman grabbed my arm and asked quietly.
"To go change."
He nodded his head and started following me.
"Why are you coming?"
"Get drinks for everyone." He shrugged. He walked into the kitchen while I walked upstairs to change. When i came back down I saw him leaning on the counter in the kitchen just standing there. I walked over to him and stood in front of him.
"You okay?"
"Yeah." he said looking at the ground.
"Rome, what's wrong?"
"Nothing okay?" he said looking up at him and faking a weak smile.
I frowned at him and nodded my head while reaching behind him to grab a drink. "If you don't want to tell me whatev. Keep things from me." I mumbled while turning to walk out of the kitchen. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me back.
"I just miss you okay? But I know it's not going to change anything or make it go back to how it was because I still have things to prove and I didn't want to mess up your good mood by bringing it up. Not trying to keep it from you babe."
"I'm sorry Roman I'm trying."
"Don't apologize it's my fault and I'm sorry okay?"
I nodded my head and took a drink of the lemonade.
"How about we go on tour with Seth this week? I know you've missed him and Jess did too so what about it?"
"That sounds great! Is Dean coming?"
"Yeah if Seth's okay with it all, we can get a tour bus tonight and head out tonight or tomorrow. I'll talk to him later."
I wrapped my arms tightly around him and let out a happy sigh.
"I miss being on the road." I said I felt him nod and wrap his arms around me.
*Dean's POV*
"So how long have you had the hots for Rox? I thought it was a heat of the moment type of thing." Seth looked at me with a completely shocked face.
"What?"
"Oh so what you don't have feelings for her?"
"No I don't. That's Roman's girl."
"It was his girl. Technically she's not right now."
Seth didn't say anything so I looked more intently at him.
"What?"
"You're going to just keep lying about liking her?"
"Duh I like her. We're friends right?"
"You make everything so difficult. It's clear you want her for yourself."
"I don't."
"Is that why you always go straight to her when you see her? Or get this creepily huge smile when she's around? Or just being more involved when she's around? You don't hide shit well at all Seth."
"So what you're going to tell Roman now?"
"Nope. That's your business and I'm not dealing with that drama right now but uh you do know Roman wanted us to go on the road with you this week right?"
"No I didn't."
"We can though right Uncle Seth?"
Both of our eyes got huge. Both clearly forgetting that Jessica was out here and heard everything we just said.
"Of course you can sweetie. But make me and Uncle Dean a promise okay?" Seth said looking at her.
"What?"
"Don't tell daddy or Rox what you heard us talking about okay?"
"Why not?"
"It's a secret. You like secrets so you have to keep it." I spoke up.
"Ooooh a secret! I pinky promise." Jess said holding her pinky out to Seth. Seth did that pinky thing kids do and looked at me with a worried look. I just shrugged and started swimming again. Relationships just aren't worth the drama. This was going to come out eventually it was only a matter of time.
*Roman's POV*
"Daddy! Uncle Seth said we can go with him this week!" Jess said running into the kitchen with Dean and Seth in tow. Rox and I must have lost track of time and not realized how long we were in the kitchen.
"I was going to talk to you about it later. Get a bus tonight and everything you know?" I said looking at Seth.
"Yeah man, we'll figure it all out but it'll be cool having you all with me again." Seth said reaching to the counter and grabbing a leamonade.
"You two took forever we finally decided to get the drinks ourselves." Dean said while grabbing a cup for him and Jess.
"Sorry we got distracted." Rox smiled at them. I noticed Seth took a big gulp of his drink and walk away quietly and raised my eye brow at Dean who just shrugged and followed Seth.
Okay then.. I thought. I looked down and picked Jess up.
"You okay with going on the road baby girl? We don't have to if you would rather stay home."
"No daddy I want to go! Pleaseeeeeee!"
"Just making sure." I said looking at Jess, who looked extremely excited. I smiled and followed Seth and Dean into the living room.
"So you guys want to leave tonight or tomorrow morning?"
"Tonight. I don't want to get up early to leave and I'm ready to get traveling again. It's an itching that I need to scratch!" Dean said immeditely. The room went quiet and we all had a sympathetic look. "Guys stop okay? I accept and know my wrestling days are over but that itch is always there. Don't need to feel bad every time I mention something about wrestling."
"Okay." Seth said.
"Hey." Dean said getting up and walking over to Rox. "I know that face stop it. It's not your fault. Stop blaming yourself." he pulled her into a hug and she smiled and nodded but I think we all knew this is something Rox would always blame herself for.
"Well, you guys want to go find a bus now then?" Dean asked.
"Let's go." Seth said grabbing keys and walking to the front door.
*Seths POV*
We found a huge bus. For some reason I thought tour buses would only have 1 big bed room but this had 3 smaller ones and a door in one that turned it from 1 bedroom to 2 so we can easily have 4 bedrooms instead. It had a spacious eating/living room area. It was like a combination of Daniel's bus and John's bus. It had more than one bathroom. In all honesty it was like a mini apartment. It worked perfectly for us so we rented it for a week and drove back to Roman's to eat, pack and get ready to leave later on tonight.
*Rox's POV*
"Rome?" I asked Roman as we sat in the room packing our stuff up.
"What's up?" he said getting up from where he was packing a suitcase on the floor and walking over sitting next to me on the bed.
"Does Seth want us to go with him?"
"Yeah, why?"
"He just seems quiet since we said we were going to. When they came in from swimming he was quiet, he didn't talk at all through dinner or really before that either. Maybe he doesn't want us to go but just wants to be polite about it."
"Somethings bugging him, that's obvious, but it's not us going with him. He would have said it wasn't a good week or something you know?"
"I don't know. He seems to not like the idea."
"Trust me Rox, it's fine okay?"
"If you say so. I'm going to go shower."
"Okay." he kissed me on the temple and I grabbed a towel and walked into the shower.
*Seth's POV*
I felt her trailing open mouthed kisses down my neck while I wrapper her hair tighter in my hand while the other rested on her ass.
"Kiss me." I heard her say. I turned my head towards her and we engaged in a hot passionate kiss. I licked her bottom lip asking for entrance. She opened her mouth a few seconds later and our tongues started battling for dominance. I won pretty quickly and she moaned into my mouth. I sat up with her straddling me and grabbed the bottom of her shirt and quickly pulled it over her head and started placing kisses all over the exposed skin from her neck, to her collarbone to the top of her breasts.
"Seth." she moaned and I felt myself get harder.
I flipped us over so she was lying on her back and I was on top of her. I kissed further down her body until i reached the top of her pants. I unbuttoned and unzipped her jeans and quickly pulled them off. I sat back and looked her body over slowly. It was the most beauitful body I have ever seen. "You're so beautiful Rox." she blushed and looked away from my gaze. "I love making you blush." I said as I slowly started running my hands up her legs.
"You're over dressed Seth." she said in a seductive tone. I stood up from the bed and undid my pants before dropping them along with my boxers to the floor. She stared at my hard on and licked her lips.
"Like what you see baby?" she nodded her head as she got on her knees and crawled on the bed over to me.
She put one of her hands behind my head and pushed it to hers taking my lips in a searing kiss. I felt her wrap her hand around my shaft. She wiped her thumb over the slit and I let out a moan. I put my arms on the back of her thighs and pulled her legs out from under her making her fall on her back. I crawled and top of her and gave her a peck.
"It's not about me baby. I just want to make you feel good."
I hooked my fingers into the side of her panties and pulled them down.
I slid a finger past her lips. "You're soaking baby."
"I want you." she said barely above a whisper. "Please. I've wanted this so long Seth." she reached down gripping my length leading it to her.
I woke up gasping and looked down seeing a little present from my body.
"This is going to be a long week." I groaned running a hand over my face.
"If you don't want us to go just say it." I heard, I turned around and saw Roman standing there.
"I do want you to go."
"Then what's going to make it a long week?"
"I just feel drained. Not waking up early and doing a million things a day was nice. I'm just not ready to go back." I quickly lied not wanting more problems between any of us already.
"Oh yeah sorry about that.I guess it's obvious you're drained, you've been taking a lot of naps lately. A champions work is never done." Roman replied.
"Sure isn't. So what brought you in here?"
"Rox was worried you didn't want us to go so I just wanted to make sure."
"Why did she think that?"
"You were too quiet for her."
"I'll go talk to her, where is she?"
"Backyard patio."
"That girls loves to be outside." I said quickly walking past Roman to go find Rox.
"Hey girl." I said walking out onto the patio and sitting down next to her.
"Hi Seth." she said looking at me then quickly back to the yard.
"I want you guys to come with me."
"Okay."
"What's going on Rox?"
"Nothing."
"You're too quiet."
"You were quiet all day." she pointed out.
"Yeah because I'm not looking forward to all the stressful things I'm going to have to do this week. I'm quiet because I'm stressed so you're quiet because..?" I pushed her for an answer.
"Stress."
"You can't steal my answer."
"It's true though."
"So, let's talk about it. What's stressing you out so much?"
"The situation with Roman." I swallowed hard.
"What about it? What's going on Rox?"
"He wants to be together and I'm not ready for it."
"He seems to understand that though." I hated talking to her or Roman about their relationship with each other but I had to put my feelings aside and be there for Rox.
"Oh no he does I just don't think it's fair to him."
"It's completely fair Rox. What he did to you was unfair and hurt you. He can't just be forgiven so easily."
"I don't know if I'm ever going to be able to fully give him what he wants Seth. I hate it. I love him so much and I feel comfortable and happy with him. I love being with him but I don't know if I'll ever be able to take that step and be with him officially again."
"If you're together... why not just put the label on it?" i said while looking down at my hands.
"Putting a label on it to me is me fully trusting him again. If he fucks up and we're official it's going to hurt but if I refuse to be official with him then if he hurts me by you know hooking up with another girl I can't be hurt because he's not mine."
"You deserve better than that Rox."
"It's not his fault I'm the one making it like this."
"His actions are why though."
"It's so complicated though. I want to forgive him and be fully with him and be like before but the nagging thought in my head that it'll just turn out to be a regret won't go away."
"He has to prove trust. We all know how long that can take. But seriously Rox you deserve better. You deserve to feel loved and cherished and safe. You deserve to be with somebody who makes you happy and doesn't make you paranoid that he'll find someone else. Someone who feels they don't deserve you but spends all his energy showing you that he's happy he has you. You deserve real, true, genuine love. I'm not saying Roman's not it. Maybe he is, maybe he isn't. I'm just saying make sure you don't settle for anything but the best because that's what you deserve." I stood up and kissed her cheek and walked back into the house.
"Ready to go?" Roman said walking down the stairs with suitcases.
"Yeah, I'll meet you on the bus." I said grabbing my bags and walking out to the bus in front I couldn't wait to get out of here.
*Roman's POV*
Dean, Seth and Jess went to the bus. After we loaded up all of our stuff I walked onto the back patio.
"Time to go hun." I said looking at Rox. I saw her jump and quickly wipe at her eyes. I walked over to her and knelt in front of her.
"Baby what's wrong? Why are you crying?"
"I miss how we used to be." she said softly.
"I do too. We're going to get through this and come out better than we've ever been though Rox."
"How do you know that?"
"I have faith in us. I know it's not the perfect situation or circumstances. This would have killed a lot of relationships but we're working on ours and fighting for it. We're both willing to fix this. We're both trying. I love you and I hope you do truly love me too. Love's the strongest thing there is."
"What if love isn't enough Roman? What if I can never get past what you did?"
"Um guys?" We looked at the door to see Seth standing there.
"We're coming Seth, sorry." Rox said getting up and wiping her cheeks.
"You okay?" Seth whispered to her when he stopped her as she went to walk past him. She nodded her head and walked off.
I know that look. The look he had when he looked at Rox. That's not a friendship look.
