"Bah." Naruto made a sound of dismissive annoyance as he sat tied up on the ground in front of the class. Iruka stood in front of him, his arms folded and veins clearly visible on his face.
"Tomorrow is the ninja school's graduation exam. You have failed the last two times!" He scolded the blonde, pointing an accusing finger. "This is no time to be causing trouble, moron!"
Naruto looked to the side as he 'tch'ed. "Yeah, yeah." He responded with attitude. I swear I heard a snap of mental strings.
"Time for a review test on ''Henge no Jutsu''. Everyone line up!" Iruka commanded, turning to the class and pointing where we should line up. I sighed along with the rest of the back row as the rest of the class yelled in protest. "Transform perfectly into me!"
As we stood in a line, one of our nameless peers had finished their transformation. "Okay, good." Iruka nodded with approval. "Next, Uzumaki Naruto!"
I heard the mutterings of our other classmates. "This is your fault." One said to the blonde, who kicked his feet lightly and gave them a face.
"Like I care." He replied, then stepped up to transform. He touched his goggles, then stood in a stance. "Transform!" He yelled, air rushing around him. I let myself grin. I knew what was coming.
As the smoke cleared, where Naruto once stood was Naruko, his female persona that was nearly always butt naked yet shrouded in some kind of smoke. Iruka's jaw literally dropped so far I cringed in the pain that appeared from it, blood gushed out of his nose like a fountain and he flew back. I laughed so bad, holding myself up by the Inuzuka who was doing the same with me. We were dying.
I heard a pop, then Naruto overwhelming laughter. "Gyahahahahaha! I call it, ''Sexy no Jutsu"!" He exclaimed with a large grin. There was laughter and snickers, but mostly some kind of silence before Iruka immediately popped up and screamed.
"You dumbass! Don't invent stupid skills!" I had to wonder where he got the tissue stuck in his nose.
"Did you see Iruka-sensei's face?!" Kiba exclaimed, barely containing his laughter. He held his stomach, falling back. We were at Kiba's house, in his rather large room. Kiba leaned against his bed as Sasuke and I sat on it, Sakura sitting next to the Inuzuka whilst Shikamaru and Choji sat across from them on them bean bag seats.
"Expect Naruto to sabotage Hokage Mountain." Sakura commented, sighing. I began to play with her pink hair, that has surprisingly been short since a year ago. I was so proud when she said long hair would be bad to have as a kunoichi. I'm going to keep my long hair, simply because I'm too lazy to cut it. Shikamaru smirked.
"Dobe will always do the things you only expect idiots and monkeys to do." Sasuke commented with a smug tone, a smirk on his features. He leaned against the wall on the bed, one leg out straight the other bent, his arm resting against it. Kiba rested his head against the edge of his bed, looking at me. I glanced to him.
"Play with my hair Kuro." He demanded, which made me frown at him, but when I saw the narrowing of the Uchiha's eyes, I grinned and moved to Kiba's hair. He gave me a toothy grin as Akamaru barked in his lap. I pushed his head up and began to play with his hair.
"I think we're all going to ace the graduation exams." Choji commented, soon placing food in his mouth again. I nodded with Sakura.
"It seems too easy." She deduced, possibly frowning right about now.
"Isn't that good?" Kiba asked curiously.
"Once we're in our teams, we'll have to go through a harder test. If we fail, we go back the academy." I informed them, wrapping my arms around Kiba's neck lazily and resting my chin on his head, staring at the wall absentmindedly. "At least, that's what I heard. I don't think every team does it." I added as an afterthought. I felt daggers in my back.
"I wonder who's going to be in my team." Choji pondered, looking up at the ceiling with a chip in his hand and halfway to his mouth.
"They put us in teams based on our grades." Sakura stated, smiling. "More than likely the Naruto is going to be put in with Sasuke and Kuroki, because they balance each other out." I let myself grin.
"I still think Ino's pissed I beat her." I commented, which made Sakura cringe.
"She kept going on and on about it. You couldn't have pretended to fail?" She asked, which made the group snicker.
"No way. My mum'll put me in a genjutsu of Kuroi eating all my bacon for five hours if I don't get amazing grades for the written tests." I replied, cringing at the memory of her saying it. Painful.
"Kuroki." Sasuke called my name. I noticed the tone of annoyance in his voice as I removed my chin from Kiba's head and looked back to him. He was glaring at me. I smirk-grinned.
"We have to go pick Dobe up." He frowned, looking to the side.
"Really? You guys have to pick him up?" Shikamaru asked, probably thinking how much effort that would take. I turned back, moving off the bed with Sasuke.
"Yeah, Naruto's been staying with us for a while now because he trashed his apartment." I said, sighing when I remembered the mess that was his apartment.
Sasuke walked to the window, and leaned against the wall, his arms folded as he waited for me. "We'll see you tomorrow, Kuroki-chan!" Sakura beamed happily at me, and I smiled a little. I kicked Kiba to the side, sending him into Sakura's lap. I walked to the window as the shoutings occurred, opened it and jumped out. I snickered as the sound of things being smashed sounded from the room.
"I didn't mean to!" I heard Kiba yell in his defence, probably trying to save himself from the Pinkette's rage. She was actually rather strong now.
"Die, you perv!"
Sasuke, Naruto and I sat on the stools at Ichiraku Ramen, Naruto slurping his ramen with Iruka next to him.
"So, Kuroki." I turned my head away from my meat-based ramen, looking over Naruto's head and to Iruka. He tilted his head towards me.
"You had the chance to graduate at a young age," He started, and I already knew what was going on. "Why didn't you? You could've been a Chunin already."
Sasuke stayed silent, and basically the only sounds that were worthy of note was the sound of Naruto slurping his ramen. He looked up, a large grin on his face. "Kuroki-chan said she'd rather be with us than to go out all the time and do missions! She's lazy like Shikamaru!" He exclaimed, basically answering for me. Iruka made a face and slammed his fist on the blonde's head.
"I wasn't asking you!" He chided, but I snickered.
"Some things you just can't rush, you know?" I commented. "I've been training since I was three, but even now that I'm fourteen, I've still got quite a few years to be able to do all the effort enhancing missions."
After my amazing speech, I began to devour my ramen again, but silence surrounded me. I looked up, Iruka and Naruto staring increduously at me. I blinked, confused.
"What?" I asked.
"Never heard a kid say that before." Iruka finally spoke, a bashful smile on his face as he rubbed the back of his head a little awkwardly. I smirked.
"Maybe I have the mind of an adult." I suggested, wiggling my eyebrows. He grinned and chuckled as Naruto mimicked his.
"Kuroki-chan! I'm going to be so awesome, become hokage, prove everyone wrong and make you proud!" He declared, raising his hands that held his chopsticks. I snickered, placing a hand on his head.
"Sure thing, Monkey. Don't forget that." I grinned at him. I noticed that Iruka gave me a long stare, but I pretended I hadn't noticed. I turned back to Sasuke, who frowned deeply at the table. Naruto and Iruka talking amongst each other soon after.
"You're going emo on me." I stated, immediately poking him. He pulled back in the slightest before bringing up a hand and gripping mine. His eyes shifted to me, but he barely tilted his head. I blinked at him.
"You know how jealous I get when you go around being all touchy with other guys?" He asked, his onyx eyes narrowing. I made a face, looking to the side and making a somewhat nervous chuckle.
"Maybe?" I teased, looking back to him and grinning. He turned his whole body to me now, and leaned forward, glaring at me.
"You're doing it on purpose?"
"You don't have to worry so much." I said, lazily attempting to reassure him. I waved a dismissive hand in his face. It only made his dark mood darker. I turned my whole body to him and rested my forehead against his. "You live with me, sleep with me, you kiss me, hug me...you basically do everything with me. You've always been there for me as I have for you. Just because I have tits and am going through puberty doesn't mean I'll be wanting every guy I see." He leaned back, looking to the side with a frown and a blush on his cheeks. What can I say? My blunt personality is a gift.
"Really." He sighed, glancing back to me. He suddenly smirked, and leaned closer again. "I bet you changed you view on me when you became thirteen." I blinked, taken aback by the comment.
"You dirty little fucker." I replied, my turn for narrowing eyes. "I won't be attracted to you until you start growing some abs." I huffed, turning back to my ramen. I frowned in annoyance as the picture of Sasuke as a fifteen-year-old popped into my head. That fucking...sexiness. Too bad that's like...three years away.
"You're already attracted to me." He said after a bit, propping his head up with his elbow, and smirked at me as he watched me. I paused, then glanced to him.
"I am." I admitted rather simply, which made his cheeks flush. I grinned, it was a lot easier to see him blushing like a schoolgirl in person than in canon. "What kind of attraction I have for you, well, you'll figure it out."
"Naruto! You're sleeping in the spare room." Sasuke growled at the blonde who attempted sleep in my room. I laid on my bed waiting for them to quit arguing.
It's been half-an-hour.
"How come you get to sleep in here?!" Naruto retorted, the two getting up in each other's faces and glaring.
"I always get to sleep in here." The Uchiha replied coolly, glancing at me. I sighed.
"Naruto, just go sleep in the other room. You get more space to yourself. Bring Shiruba if you want." Shiruba barked as he heard his name, jumping off the bed and to Naruto's side. The blonde squinted his eyes in thought.
"Okay! Night!" He ran out the door with Shiruba following. I grinned as Sasuke sighed, closing the door and climbed into the bed.
"I figured you'd want to go live at the Uchiha compound by now. Be a loner and all that." I commented, staring at him as I hugged my pillow. He glanced to me, his onyx eyes showing more emotions than he liked.
He shifted to his side, now facing me and staring at my lips. I must have nice lips. "Why would I want to do that when I have you? When you've been there for me all this time?" He questioned, moving closer to me.
I let myself smile just the slightest, but it gave him the influence to smirk in triumph. "You're not going to be all emo on me?" I teased, soon grinning and removed my pillow from my arms, moving it so I laid my head on it.
"I can't be when you're right in front of me." He replied, wrapping his arms around my waist and burying his face in the crook of my neck. I wrapped my arms around him, basically pulling him closer.
"When are you going to say yes?" I heard him mumble, and I sighed with a small grin.
"When I fall for you. Just be happy I let you be all lovey with me."
"Because you like it."
"Remember who's superior in strength, you little shit." I reminded him, and I could feel his smirk against my neck. I yelped in surprise when he bit my fucking neck.
"Night." He said before using his death grip on me, and clinging him onto me like a leech. I growled. I couldn't pull him off because it meant effort, which isn't great for sleep. Damn you, Uchiha.
"Get the fuck up you lazy shit!" I demanded of the snoring blonde whom I kicked in the side. He groaned and instinctively held his aching stomach.
"Ugh...no~. Let me sleep, Kuroki!" He whined, keeping his eyes shut as he curled up on the bed. I grabbed the back of his collar and threw him out the room. Shiruba barked enthusiastically, running after the blonde.
"It's the graduation exam today. Get your ass up. You want to be a ninja, right?" I convinced him as he grovelled on the floor. Sasuke yawned as he shook his bangs out of his eyes. Had to admit he looked cute that way.
"Just leave him, Kuroki. He'll fail the test anyways." The Uchiha commented with a smirk, looking down at Naruto who seemed to just pop up all rejuvenated and be all up in his rival's face.
"I'll show you, Teme! I'll become the greatest ninja in the whole world!" I kicked him forward.
Silence.
Then~, I'm on the floor holding my stomach, dying of laughter.
"Blegh! Ugh! Yuck!"
"What the hell, Dobe?! I'm straight!"
"It's not like I wanted to kiss you, dammit!"
"Well, you did!"
"It's Kuroki-chan's fault!"
I suddenly stopped laughing and sat up.
"Oh, look. It's that time already. Later!" I body flickered as soon as I could, landing on the roof of my house and bolting my way to school. I knew Sasuke was following after me.
"Get back here!" He yelled as we jumped from roof to roof. I was a little faster than him, but he was fucking fast.
"I didn't mean to! Honest!" I yelled back, trying terribly to hide my grin.
"Liar!"
"I know!" I saw a cat and just had to stop. "Dear god, that is a beautiful cat." And then! I got tackled.
"Fuck! Fuck you, cat!"
"Alright, for the graduation exam, you'll be doing the bunshin no jutsu." Iruka informed us. Naruto, who had finally shown up, was sweating bullets. "When your name is called, come to the next room."
It had been twenty to thirty minutes before my name got called. I stood up and made my way to the next room.
"Sup, Iruka, Mizuki." I greeted them leisurely as I made my way in. Mizuki ''kindly'' smiled at me as Iruka sighed as my informality.
"This should be easy for you, Kuroki-san." Iruka commented, and I smirk-grinned.
"Should be. Never know." I replied, then brought my hands together and performed the correct signs.
"Bunshin!" I exclaimed, and with a puff of smoke and shit, there were four of me now. I felt like a fuckwit just yelling my techniques out like that.
"Dude, you look like shit." One of my clones said. I glanced to them, and then glanced to another. Stare off!
"Holy shit, that's what I look like to others? I look like a fucking stoner." I heard a cough, and glanced back to Iruka and Mizuki.
"Well done, you pass." Iruka congratulated me, and I stepped up to grab a forehead protector.
I saw a rather dark blue one that looked almost black, and instantly, it was mine.
"Don't be too harsh on the monkey, Iruka." I commented with a small grin, then made my way out. I heard him chuckle then sigh.
Naruto sat on the swings, looking dejected as the rest of the kids celebrated. I heard their parents giving praise to their children.
Then something pissed me off.
"Hey, that kid..." This one woman started to the other, both looking towards Naruto.
"Yeah. That's 'the' kid. And he's the only one that failed." The other woman replied with a tone I didn't like.
I began to make my way towards the women.
"Well, that's good." She said. "We can't have him become a-" Before she could finish the sentence, I tripped her and she fell back into her friend. They both screamed like little bitches, and I stealthily moved away from them like it wasn't me.
"What the hell?!" The one I tripped screamed, the other groaning underneath her.
Naruto looked up, surprised at the situation. I began to make my way towards him, and I saw that the others were making their way to Naruto as well.
"Hey, dumbass." I greeted him, leaning against the tree. Shikamaru leant against it beside me, Choji standing. Sakura and Sasuke stood in front of him whilst Kiba sat on the swing with him, an arm around his buddy.
"Came to tease me about failing?" Naruto asked, staring at the floor. I could hear the appalled whispers of the other kids and parents, but we ignored them.
"Shut up. You know what I bet?" I started, pushing myself off the tree. I pushed Naruto off the swing, which caused both Kiba and Naruto to fall. "Tomorrow, you'll be a ninja."
Naruto sat up, rubbing his ass but he looked up incredulously at me. "Huh?! How?"
"Kuroki's always been good at the future stuff, stop being troublesome and go along with it." Shikamaru stated lazily, and Sakura nodded.
"You always find a way, don't you?" She asked, rather sweetly.
Naruto began to become teary, and we all smiled. "I...I love you guys!" He announced, soon bursting into tears. We all laughed and hugged him, Akamaru on top of the blonde's mop of hair.
"Where's Naruto?" Aonami asked when Sasuke and I came into the kitchen. We instantly went for the fridge.
"Somewhere." Sasuke replied nonchalantly, sticking his head in the fridge.
"He'll be back. He's becoming a ninja, you know?" I said, pushing the Uchiha to the side lightly and grabbing a drink.
"Oh! I totally forgot! It was your graduation exam today!" Aonami nearly dropped her knife when she finally remembered.
"You two passed alright?!" We smirked, my forehead protector wrapped around my neck and Sasuke's around his right arm,.
"Yeah. In two days, we'll be sorted into our teams and all." I stretched after yawning.
"You getting this feeling that the reason everyone's going mental is because of Naruto?" I asked casually, sitting on the window sill and looking up at the moon as Sasuke laid on the bed.
"There's no doubt it is him." Sasuke sighed, but I smirk-grinned softly.
"He'll have a forehead protector when he comes home." I murmured, watching the moon, feeling as if it was staring at me.
"How do you know all this stuff?" The Uchiha asked, still unable to comprehend the things I knew and definitely shouldn't have known.
"I come from another world that actually shows the events of this world like a show." I announced dramatically, so as to appear like I was lying even though I was telling the truth. Add a smile and they take the bait.
I heard Sasuke scoff with amusement.
"If that were true, does that mean I become this emo depressive kid trying to be an avenger?" He asked, rolling his eyes. I turned to look at him with a grin.
"Yeah, pretty much."
"I'm glad you're here, then." He glanced at me, smirking.
"I am too." I agreed, smiling softly and turning back to face the moon.
"I have a question." He voiced, and I glanced at him from the corner of my eye.
"Yeah?"
"Will I be hot in the future?" He asked with a smirk, I turned my head fully to face him, and tried to hide the smile on my face.
"Yeah. You'll be sexy as fuck and I'll have a harder time not wanting to fall for you." I admitted honestly, and soon my face was directly in front of a certain raven-haired boy.
"You're always tempting me, Kuroki." He whispered softly, leaning his forehead against mine. It was our thing now, it seemed.
"Least you know that it's possible for me to fall for you." I retorted then pushed him back onto the bed. I basically rolled onto my bed from the window sill, dropping down and face planting into my pillow.
"What do you think Itachi is doing?" Sasuke asked all of a sudden, and I shifted to face him.
"Probably thinking about us." He was leaning against the wall on the bed, seeing as we had no headboard thing for ours.
"I always thought Itachi and you were going to be a couple. It annoyed me. I thought he was going to take you from me. How pathetic is that?" He laughed scornfully and I sat up, crossing my legs as I moved closer.
"As far as I know, Itachi saw me as a little sister. I mean, he even told me he thought of me as a little sister." I said, looking to the ceiling. "Unless, you know, he's into incest shit, which I highly doubt, I'm pretty sure he only sees me as a little sister." I looked back to find Sasuke giving me a mixed look between disgust and amusement.
"And you wonder why I find you fascinating." He smirked. I let myself smirk smugly.
"I'm the shit, that's why." I gloated dramatically. He chuckled.
The sound of a door slamming open and a rather familiar laugh broke us out of our little moment. "I'M HOME!"
"He forgets that he has his own apartment, doesn't he?" Sasuke facepalmed with a sigh. I smirk-grinned.
"I think it's good he feels like he belongs here. You and him are more alike than you'd like to admit."
"Guess so." He replied softly, smirking gently and looking to the door. We both smiled when Naruto burst through our door to show us his forehead protector, a large, toothy grin plastered on his dirty face. He was covered in dirt and some blood.
"GUESS WHO BECAME A NINJA!?"
Ehh...might as well finish here. Continue on to the teams next chapter? Yeah? Spelling might suck shit, but you know. Review, all that shit. And vote in the polls! Last time I checked there's fifteen votes each for Itachi, Neji and Shikamaru. Sorry guys, I can't make this a harem. That's too...weird. Hope you enjoyed.
EDIT: Thank you for the reviews and all. Vote on the poll on my profile for Kuroki's possible second pairing, for those who don't know.
