Hello, my lovelies. I have news to tell. I've finished school for this year, which means more time for sleep! Fuck yeah! I don't have much to say, except thank for all the support, the reviews. I do read all of them, and if you have some suggestions for me, I'm willing to listen. Don't forget the poll, and enjoy this chapter.

"Damn it!" Sakura yelled as she threw a brick towards one of her former team mates. The pathetic dude just barely dodged, and I watched as the brick smashed into the wall, creating a crater.

"Hey, what the hell?! It's your fault we didn't pass!" The fuckwit dared to yell at the flaming pinkette. She punched the guy in the face and sent him flying.

"Raargh! You think it's my fault, huh?! I was the only one doing anything! You and your damn friend were off being little runts!" She chided the whimpering kid. I leaned against the pole with my arms crossed, amusingly waiting for her to finish.

Sadly, Sakura didn't pass, but that was because her teammates let her down.

"Might want to run, bro." I suggested to the kid. His terrified eyes shifted over to me. "Sakura'll do more than punch you if you continue to hang around."

And...he was off. Least he's got speed. Sakura huffed and angrily made her way to me.

"How dare he?!" She screamed, punching the wall. Where the hell does that strength come from?

"Least you can just go into the medical course thingy now, right?" I asked, pushing off the pole and turning to walk down the street with my hands in my pockets. Sakura followed.

"Yeah, true. I'll just have to get an apprenticeship there. Damn going back to the academy." She responded, still seething. "So you, Sasuke and Naruto passed?"

I nodded. "We used Naruto's clones as a distraction, though, I was originally opting to threatening him." I admitted, she blinked at me.

"Threaten? How?!"

"Threaten to destroy Icha Icha Paradise." I grinned evilly, imagining what the result would be.

Sakura sighed. "Sometimes I wonder about your sanity." I glanced to the black figure standing at the entrance of a shop. It chuckled, its grin still never moving.

"I'm perfectly fine!" I denied dramatically, placing a hand to my heart as if I was appalled she even dared to mention my sanity. "If I wasn't, I would've killed someone already!"

Pinkette frowned at me. "You nearly did." She retorted. I replaced my hands in my pockets, and looked away with a dull and uncaring look.

"Wasn't in a great mood, was all." I said, then frowned. I don't remember much about the incident myself, all I knew was that I felt amused...

"Well, you start duties tomorrow, right?" She asked, changing the subject.

"Yeah. Something about fixing a house up. Shouldn't be hard."

"Alright, well. This is my stop." Sakura walked up the steps to her door, and I waved at her, continuing to walk.

"Later."

"Take care, Kuroki-chan."

"Oh, my fuck. We're catching a cat?!" I exclaimed, hope possibly twinkling in my eyes. Kakashi chuckled.

"Yes. Tora the cat is always running away from its owner, the fire country's lord's wife." He confirmed. I jumped with glee.

"Kuroki-chan sure loves cats." Naruto commented to Sasuke, who stood beside him.

"She loves animals." He smirked.

Naruto gave a suggestive grin. "Is that why she likes you?" He teased the Uchiha, and I couldn't help but snicker at that one.

"I am a beast." He smirked at me. I flipped him the finger with an amused grin.

"Alright, children. We were talking about a cat." Kakashi intervened. I smiled dreamily.

"Beautiful cats." I said, then blinked when a cat with a ribbon on its left ear ran towards us and then jumped. I instinctively caught it when it was jumping for me.

"Meow~!" It whined, trying to find comfort in me.

"Tora?" I asked the beautiful cat. It meowed again as if confirming it.

"Are you serious?" Sasuke asked, bewildered by the fact that the cat we were meant to find had literally jumped into our arms.

"Kuroki-chan's a cat whisperer!" Naruto fist-pumped enthusiastically.

"That...was surprisingly easy." Kakashi admitted, blinking also. I showered the cat with affection, and it purred in pleasure.

"I don't want to give Tora back, such a beautiful creature." I whined, petting the wonderful cat lovingly.

"We have to." Sasuke said.

"Just think about it, Kuroki." Kakashi started. "You give back the cat, you get paid."

"What are we waiting for, then?!" I exclaimed, jumping off to the direction of the Fire Lord's wife.

"If I meet someone else like Kuroki-chan, we're all doomed." Naruto commented.

I glanced back to see Sasuke and Kakashi nodding in approval. Pscht.

"Hurry up!"

"What the fuck are you doing to him?" I asked darkly as the damned woman basically strangled the poor cat. She didn't seem to hear.

"Now, for Team 7's next mission," The Hokage said, looking through his list. "Babysitting an elder's grandson, shopping in the neighbouring village, and help with the potato digging."

"No, no, no! No, thank you!" Naruto exclaimed loudly, his arms in the shape of a cross. "I want to do something better! Give us a better mission, damn it!"

"What the monkey said." I agreed, grinning softly.

"You idiot! You are just a rookie!" Iruka scolded the blonde. "Everyone starts off with simple duties and works their way up!"

"We keep getting the crappiest duties! It's been three weeks!" Naruto retorted, which earned him a fist to the head from Kakashi.

"Quiet, you." He ordered calmly.

"Naruto. It seems I have to explain to you what all these duties are about." The Hokage said. Naruto stopped him.

"No! There's no need! Kuroki-chan already told me about how each mission is ranked on how difficult it is! As well as our ranks as ninjas!" He announced, and I looked out the window with my hands in my pockets when eyes turned to me.

"Is that so?" The Hokage's tone seemed thoughtful.

"Yeah! So you don't need to explain it to me! We want a better mission!" Naruto demanded. "I'm not the prank-pulling brat you think I still am!"

Iruka smiled a little at the blonde's statement. The Hokage took a puff of his...what the fuck is that?

"Okay. If you want it that much." The Hokage finally said. This surprised Kakashi.

"I'll give you a C-Rank mission. It's a protection mission of a certain individual." He explained.

"Yay!" Naruto cheered from the floor.

"Will you come in?" The Hokage said, and the door slid open. The smell of alcohol was instantly up my nose.

"What's this?" He said. "They're all just a bunch of..." He trailed off when his eyes met mine. He narrowed his eyes at me. "Brats." He finished, then looked to Naruto.

"Look at that short one, you're a ninja? Really?"

Naruto was about to respond, but I cut him off. "Just shut up, you old drunk and tell us your name." I said with a dull tone, and I was hit upside the head by Kakashi. I glared lightly at him, but it didn't really hurt.

A bead of sweat rolled down his forehead, but he recovered and tried to cover his seemingly nervous fear. "Kuh! I am the great bridge builder Tazuna! I expect you all to provide me with expert protection!"

"You're going on a C-ranked mission? Already?" Kuroi asked casually as he sat leisurely on the couch. I played with his hair from behind whilst Sasuke helped Aonami in the kitchen.

"Yeah. Heading out tomorrow. Naruto's gone back to his apartment to get his shit." I replied, then jumped onto the couch and crossed my legs.

"Good work, Kuro." He smirked softly. "Make sure to bring your katana."

"Wouldn't leave without it." I smiled.

"Kuroki, can you please get some groceries?" Aonami asked, and I stood up, walking over to her.

"Sure. List?" I requested, and she gave it to me, I brushed my thumb against Sasuke's lips as I passed him, then made my way to the door.

It was getting dark, but navigating through the night wasn't hard. I decided to be leisurely and trudge instead of jumping around everywhere.

It was still pretty busy in the streets when I made my way to the stalls. I bought the things I need and decided to treat myself to some dango. I was surprised to see Anko there. Shouldn't have been.

"Oh, hey, Kuro!" She greeted me with a grin and a wave. I grinned back, walking over to her and sitting across from her.

"Haven't seen you in a while." I stated, grabbing a stick of dango. Anko had a bunch of plates of them, and we shared our love of sweets together. I put the groceries down beside me and began to munch on the dango.

"Yeah, been busy." She chuckled extravagantly. "Heard you graduated a few days ago."

I nodded. "Yeah, pretty easy. I'm with the Uchiha and the monkey." I responded, getting another sweet.

She grinned. "Could've graduated ages back!"

I grinned slyly. "Wouldn't be any fun if I did."

"Ahahaha! I knew there was something else I liked about you." She laughed, throwing her head back in amusement.

"Well, as much as I'd love to stay and eat with you, I have to go." I stated, grabbing my groceries and standing. Anko whined.

"Aww, I was having fun." She complained, and I smiled back at her, then began to leave after grabbing a few sticks of dango. I waved back.

"I'll see you."

"Later, Kuro!"

I munched on the dango whilst walking down the street. It was night already.

'Why do you ignore me so, Kuroki...?' That damn figure asked me in a hushed whisper. He was standing a few metres in front of me, and every time I passed him he'd reappear a few metres ahead.

"I sometimes wonder if you're real or a figment of my imagination." I commented, the street I was walking down was empty, and if someone did happen to see me, they'd probably want to get me help.

The figure chuckled softly. 'If I have a name...will you believe that I am not a figment of your imagination?'

"Depends. Do you have one that I've never heard of before?"

'Hearing my name...will awaken...' He paused, somehow grinning even more than I thought possible. 'certain attributes...'

"Are you like...some kind of demon passed down through the Taidana family or something?" I asked suddenly, glancing at it. It chuckled once again.

'Perhaps...do you wish to hear my name?'

"I'll need to hear all the benefits, the disadvantages, the effects, everything. Once we get through that, I'll think about it, talk with Kuroi and then I'll make a decision." I planned out, glancing to the moon.

It mockingly bowed slightly. 'I have all the time...'

Then he was gone. I never really questioned his existence until now. The fuck does he mean by certain attributes?

"I'm back." I called as I walked inside my house.

"Welcome back!" Aonami greeted from the kitchen, Shiruba jumping and running towards me. I lifted my hand, and he obediently stopped. I patted him lovingly.

"Good boy."

"You smell like dango." Sasuke noted when I gave Aonami the groceries. I pulled out the things I bought and began to chew on some beef jerky. I jumped onto the counter where Sasuke was sitting, bumping shoulders with him.

"I met up with Anko." I replied. I froze when a certain image flashed through my mind.

"Kuroki?"

"Sasuke? What's wrong?"

"She's not responding."

I breathed deeply when I was finally out of my stupor, placing my face in my hands.

"Kuroki?"

"I'm...I'm fine. I just, suddenly got a headache is all..." I responded softly, trying to calm my mind.

Why? I thought my life before was lost, and yet...their face...why?

'I can answer it all...' The figure whispered to me, and I felt its claws brush against my skin. 'If you let me...'

"I'm going to head to bed early." I told them, then began to walk to my room.

I was opening the door to my room when a pair of arms wrapped around my waist and a chin was rested on my shoulder. I instinctively rested my head against theirs.

"You don't have to say anything." He said softly, placing his lips against the side of my head. I smiled softly, grasping his arms gently and unwrapping them from me. Instead of letting go, I pulled him to the bed with me, not bothering to put on the light as per usual. Sasuke being Sasuke willingly let me lead him to the bed.

"You excited about tomorrow?" I asked quietly, wrapping my arms around his waist and pulling him closer. He did the same, but used one of his arms as a head rest. He stared at me.

"I'm kind of...eh, about it." He responded, shrugging.

"I think it'll be interesting." I replied with a small grin.

"You always say that when you know something we don't." Sasuke deduced, and I unwrapped one of my arms from his waist and ran a hair through his hair. He instinctively closed his eyes and shifted closer.

"I just don't want you to be so hard on yourself when we do get to a certain point in the mission."

"I like how you only show this side to me." He randomly stated, a small smirk on his lips. I blinked in confusion.

"Your caring side, the side that's underneath all that sarcasm and sardonic ways." The Uchiha elaborated, pulling me closer in a sort of possessive way.

"Makes me feel wanted. Sadly, something I cling onto." He added, and I smiled slightly.

For once, it was I who kissed him. It surprised him, and he nearly pulled back out of instinct before realising what was happening. In less than a second he kissed back.

That bathroom incident flashed in my mind. I made a strange sound, and he pulled back, his eyes narrowed in confusion.

"You've traumatised me with what happened in the bathroom." I explained begrudgingly. He immediately smirked triumphantly at this. I sneered at him.

"It was your fault to begin with. I just had to get rid of the germs plaguing my mouth." He defended smugly, but what caught my attention most what how husky his voice had amazingly become.

"Fucking...puberty's fast as shit on you!" I blurted out.

There was silence and a face that showed the Uchiha was still in processing.

"Snrk!" He snorted, beginning to laugh. I hit him and he rolled onto his back, holding his stomach.

"I hate you, you fucking slut." I announced dully, then made a move to crawl over him and out of my room. I yelped when my shoulder was grasped and I was pulled on top of a certain Uchiha. I stared at him with unamused eyes.

"Don't give me that, you used to do that to me all the time." He said, sliding his hands to my waist.

"That was before you become a hot piece of ass." I poked him. He grinned slyly.

"I'll always love your honesty."

"I'll always love you." I stated, a lazed smile on my lips. I felt his hands move to run through my hair.

"I understand that you want me to rape you." He said with a seemingly strained-looking face.

"Shit! Where's my rape whistle?!"

"I love you."

"I know."

"Do you?" He asked, tilting his head to the side.

"Considering that I want to rape you as well, yes. Yes, I do." I replied in a matter-of-fact tone. I received a beautiful expression.

"I hate you."

"Ah, dude. Make up your mind!" I teased, but I once again yelped in surprise when I was flipped.

...Fuck!

"What happened to you guys?" Naruto asked as Sasuke and I gradually made our way to the large ass gate with our shit.

"Don't ask. At all." Sasuke warned the blonde, who was smart enough to silence his questions.

"I might lose my virginity sooner than I thought." I stated, rubbing my eyes free of the fatigue.

"Wha-?! What?!"

"Shut up, Dobe. Everything hurts." Sasuke winced. We leaned on each other for support. Twelve-year-olds aren't meant to be like Sasuke. Like, mentally six years ahead of his age. By God, what does that make me?

"You two look like hell." Tazuna lovingly complimented us when he finally appeared. I lazily flipped him the finger.

"Rough night."

"They start so young!" Tazuna laughed.

Indeed, Tazuna. Indeed they do.

"When is your sensei coming?" Tazuna asked after fifteen minutes of sitting around. I think Sasuke and I dozed off here and there, we all shifted to the ground.

"Kakashi-sensei is always late!" Naruto explained. "Is building your bridge important?"

Tazuna scoffed. "Of course it's important! Building that bridge will solve a lot of problems!"

"This is your fault." I whispered softly to the Uchiha I was leaning on, blocking out the blonde and the bridge builder's conversation.

"You provoked me." He responded just as quietly.

"It's my nature to provoke you." I retorted.

"It's my nature as a guy to want to violate you."

"Kinky." We both smirked.

"Morning, guys!" Kakashi greeted us after appearing from a puff of smoke. He waved.

"You're late!" Naruto accused the jounin.

I don't know how long we've been walking for, but I do know that we were being watched.

"That's a sexy puddle of water." I commented as we passed the (may I say; only) puddle of water.

"Only you would find something like a puddle of water sexy, Kuroki-chan!" Naruto laughed casually.

I made eye contact with Kakashi would nodded slightly, and we kept walking.

The rattling of chains caught my attention, and I looked back to see the metal-thing brothers come out of the water. They wrapped the spiked chain around Kakashi.

"What?!"

"One down." One of the brothers said. They pulled on the chain and the sight of Kakashi being shredded entered my sight. I blinked. It was a lot more gruesome than the anime or manga depicted.

"Two down." They said again as they reappeared behind Naruto. They readied their metal gauntlet things, but were both forced into the ground when Sasuke and I smashed our feet into their backs.

Naruto threw a kunai and it caught onto their chain, pulling it and pinning it to a tree. I went to my knee, kneeling on the two-horned one's back. I used more force than necessary when putting my knee down, and I heard a crunching sound. The brother under me groaned in pain as I grabbed the hilt of my katana, unsheathed it and flicked it down. I grinned at the scream he emitted when blood spillled onto the dirt, his left arm now severed. The metal gauntlet lay motionless.

"Meizu!" The other brother called, but Sasuke and Naruto had him pinned.

Meizu, I would guess, was yelling in pain. He was unable to use his right hand seeing how my katana was impaled through his wrist and into the ground.

"I must say; I do like the gauntlets." I smiled pleasantly, glancing to the said gauntlets.

"You little bitch!" The brother insulted me, but was quickly shut up when Sasuke stabbed his shoulder with a kunai, he let out a pained groan.

"Speak to her like that again and you'll end up like your brother." Sasuke threatened seriously. Tazuna stood a metre or so in front of us, appearing disturbed by the image in front of him. His eyes flashed with fear as he met mine, causing him to quickly avert them.

Kakashi appeared beside Tazuna, the visible part of his face appearing pleasant and amused.

"Good work guys." Kakashi praised us, and trudged forward, kneeling between Meizu and his brother. He glanced back to Tazuna, who flinched at the gaze. "We also need to talk."

A few minutes later they were both tied to a tree, their weapons removed. Meizu appeared to be unconscious, but then again, blood loss does that. Gozu, or whatever his name was, glared fiery daggers at me. I flashed him a smile.

"These guys look like Hidden Mist Chuunin." Kakashi stated. "These shinobis are known to continue fighting no matter what."

"How did you read our movements?" The conscious brother asked.

"I think you're a special kind of stupid to use a puddle of water as a disguise when it's rather sunny and there are no other puddles in sight." I voiced my opinion, mockingly looking around to see for any puddles. Naruto snickered, Sasuke smirked.

"Exactly." Kakashi agreed. "Also, I could've killed you both instantly, but I wanted to know what you two were after."

"What do you mean?" Tazuna asked.

"Meaning they were after you or us."

"We haven't heard that there are shinobis after you. Our mission was to simply protect you from thieves or gangs." Kakashi explained. I sat down with my legs crossed, the other two followed my actions. "This has at least become a B-ranked mission. It was supposed to be simple protection until you completed the bridge."

Tazuna looked perplexed, his eyes fixated on the ground.

"You have blood on your cheek." Sasuke noted, wiping my cheek.

"Oh, thank you."

"Mmm." He responded with a small smile.

"Well!" I raised my voice, and all eyes were on me. "I vote that we continue on with the mission. It'd be good experience for all of us and well, there's money involved."

"Yeah! What Kuroki-chan said!" Naruto cheered, fist pumping the air.

"Hmm..." Kakashi went into thought.

"Also. I think one of the brothers is dead."

"You killed him?!"

"Hey, not my fault he was a lot easier to defeat than I thought."

I stared out into the water, the mist shrouding our location from any unwanted eyes.

"We should see the bridge soon. The Wave country is at the base of the bridge." The...the...boat guy...? Said...

"Dayum." I whistled at the sight of the bridge.

"Wow!" Naruto exclaimed in awe at the size.

"Sensei..." All eyes went to Tazuna. "I want to talk to you."

"It's about this mission...It turns out there's a super dangerous man after me."

I snorted.

"Who?" Kakashi asked. For some reason, the angle I glance at him from made him look attractive. It'd make more sense to like him more than Sasuke.

Tazuna sighed, anyways. "You've probably at least heard of his name at least once before."

"Gatou?" I asked, glancing to Tazuna. His eyes widened.

"H-How did you...?"

"Kuroki's got some kind of future thing going on with her." Naruto said dismissively with his hands behind his head.

Kakashi's eye also widened, and yet, it still looked lazy.

"Really? Gatou's said to be one of the few extremely wealthy people." Kakashi stated.

"Please don't bore us with someone who's about to die." I said, placing my hands into the pockets of my hoodie. Tazuna and Kakashi blinked at me.

I sighed. "Look, I'm getting that feeling where he's after you because of the bridge. You're in the way of his amusing business and he wants you gone. Shit like that, yeah? I really don't care, so either you monologue, or we continue this boat ride in peace."

Kakashi's fist landed on my head. "Ow." I said dully.

"This is why I love Kuroki-chan!" Naruto beamed as the three of us looked to the bridge. Sasuke glared at the blonde.

"Better not have your eyes on her." He warned with a deadly tone. Naruto instantly waved his hands.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! No way! Kuroki-chan's like a big sister! Don't misunderstand, Teme!" Naruto defended himself, and immediately Sasuke relaxed.

My eyes shifted to the top of the bridge. Grinning figure was back.

'Ready...?'

I gave it a smile, then looked forward. I blocked out the conversation between Tazuna and the boat man as we went through a tunnel. When we exited through the end of the tunnel, there were a bunch of trees and houses, Naruto gawked in awe.

Things felt a little empty, but we were ashore soon enough. I stood up and jumped to the platform.

"This is it for me. Good bye and good luck." The boat man said after we all were on the platform. Tazuna smiled.

"Yeah, super thanks." He watched as the boat man sped away on the boat, then walked ahead. "Okay! Get me home safely!"

"Yes, yes." Kakashi replied.

I grinned up at Kakashi, who had a exasperated look. He looked to me.

"You ready for a battle, Kakashi?" I asked mischievously. He 'hmm'ed.

"So you know that there's going to be a jounin next?" Kakashi asked me, rubbing his chin thoughtfully.

I shrugged. "Only makes sense, right?"

Sasuke and Naruto were conversing ahead of us, when I saw a white rabbit jump out of the bushes. We all looked at it.

"Hey, look! What a cute bunny!" Naruto beamed, making his way to the rabbit.

"I like how the rabbit's white." I commented, smirk-grinning.

"Yes...they must be here already since this is a rabbit for body switching..." Kakashi murmured softly, only so that I could hear. I nodded. Looking to the trees.

Instantly, Kakashi went defensive and I went down to duck.

"Everyone, duck!" He commanded, and everyone obeyed, Sasuke pulling Tazuna down just as a giant spinning sword soared above us and pinned itself to a nearby tree. Zabuza stood on the hilt of the-

"Holy shit, do you see that sword?!" I exclaimed, returning to my standing position. I felt everyone's eyes shift to me, even Zabuza. But seriously! "That is a beautiful sword! Ah, Kubikiribocho!" I fawned over the magnificent broadsword.

"Oh? You know the sword, girl?" Zabuza asked, appearing to have raised an eyebrow.

"You're joking right? Of course I do." I deadpanned. "Seriously, I also know you, Zabuza Momochi of the Hidden Mist village. And I must say that you are awesome." I gave him a casual grin and thumbs up, which caused him to cackle loudly.

"Ahahaha! I like her." Zabuza voiced. I felt rather proud of that. "Anyways...Sharingan Kakashi, sorry but the old man is mine." He said as Kakashi had his hand ready to pull up his forehead protector.

Sasuke's surprised eyes shifted to the silver-haired jounin.

"Surround and protect Tazuna-san." Kakashi ordered. We nodded and moved into position around Tazuna. "Do not enter the fight, that's the teamwork here."

"I hope you know what kind of kids you're talking to." I stated, smirking slightly. Kakashi sighed.

"At least try."

"Understood, Kakashi-sensei!" Naruto saluted, whilst Sasuke 'hm'ed.

Kakashi pulled up his forehead protector to reveal his sharingan and scarred eye. Naruto and Sasuke gasped. "Dayum." I whistled.

"Ah...I already get to see the famous sharingan...I'm honoured." Zabuza stated, having turned on his hilt and was now facing us.

"Is that the sharingan you were telling me about, Kuroki-chan?" Naruto asked, and I nodded.

"Yeah, pretty much." I replied.

"When I was a member of Hidden Mist's assassin team..." Zabuza started. "I kept a handbook. It had information on you, Kakashi."

"And this is what it said; The man who has copied over a thousand jutsu..Copy Ninja Kakashi."

"Y...You the man, Kakashi-sensei!" Naruto exclaimed.

Sasuke stayed silent, staring at the back of Kakashi's head.

"Now...let's end all the talking. I have to kill that old man." Zabuza said. I just thought of something.

"Hold up!" I raised my voice, and once again, all attention was on me. "Well, I was just thinking whether or not this Gatou dude would actually pay you once you're finished with old Tazuna here."

Zabuza's eyes narrowed. "I'm serious!" I defended. "I mean, come on. You're just some disposable thug to him, and he probably expects us to take each other out in the process, yeah?"

Everyone seemed to contemplate this. "Hm...that's true. If that were so, we'd be fighting for no reason." Kakashi stated.

"Also, Zabuza." I continued, and Zabuza's gaze shifted from the floor back to me. He was respectful enough to remain silent. "You were planning on killing Gatou anyways, right?"

"Heh. You're a smart girl." He praised. "Yes, I was. After I got enough funds from the fool, I'd kill him."

"He's basically going to want you dead either way, so how about not waste your energy on us, who aren't even your enemies." I suggested "Kill him whilst he least expects it."

"...I like your idea, girl. What is your name?" Zabuza asked. I smiled.

"My name is Taidana Kuroki." I responded pleasantly. The missing-nin's eyes widened.

"Taidana?" He repeated with a mildly surprised tone. "I had thought they were all dead."

I shrugged. "We're still around. Now, put the eye away Kakashi. I think we've all got the same objective here."

Kakashi sighed, either in relief or in exasperation, I won't know. Either way, he obeyed and concealed his eye. "That was...unexpected."

Zabuza jumped down from his sword's hilt, then grabbed it and pulled it out of the tree. He placed it on his back and made his way towards us.

"I'm assuming that we've got nothing against each other?" Zabuza asked Kakashi.

"Well, thanks to Kuroki-chan, we have the same obectives; get rid of Gatou." Kakashi replied.

"Kuroki-chan is awesome!" Naruto jumped, glomping me. I was used to it and remained passive. Sasuke on the other hand literally growled.

"Get off her, you dirty monkey!" Sasuke lunged for the blonde, who released me and jumped back. I sighed.

"Hey, hey." I said, trudging to the missing-nin. "Can I...please hold the sword?" I asked, giving my best puppy eyes.

Zabuza laughed, throwing his head back. "You sure you can even hold it, girl?"

"We won't know until you let me hold the sword." I replied, smiling.

"Fine," Zabuza agreed, reaching back to get the sword, then held it out for me. I jumped with glee and grabbed the hilt.

"Kuh!" I released a puff of oxygen as I strained to hold it up. "My fuck, it's heavy as shit!" I exclaimed, then shifted my footing and grip to better hold it. After finally steadying myself, I lightly rested it on my shoulder.

My fuck, it's heavy. He makes it seem so light.

"Shit, she can hold it." Zabuza whistled. "Hey, Haku. You can come out now." As soon as he said those words, a dude looking like a hunter-nin appeared beside him.

Haku removed his mask, to reveal his incredibly feminine face, a soft smile gracing his lips. "Hello." He greeted us. Naruto and Sasuke paused, and looked to the not-so-obvious male.

"Wow..." Naruto whispered from his position in a headlock. "You're beautiful."

"I agree." I agreed. "Definitely easy on the eyes." I grinned at him.

The feminine guy appeared to blush lightly at my comment. "Oh, thank you." Haku replied, tilting his head to the side. I glanced over to the blonde who blushed.

Zabuza chuckled extravagantly. "Don't be falling for Haku now, unless you're into guys."

"What?! You're a guy?!" Naruto yelled, his eyes bulging.

"I am." Haku responded immediately. Naruto's face appeared heartbroken.

"Okay, I give! This shit's heavier than I expected!" I surrendered, bringing the broadsword off my shoulder and handing it back to its owner, who grabbed it with ease and replaced it back to his back. I stretched my muscles.

"So, what now?" Tazuna finally voiced, still nervous around Zabuza and Haku. The bridge builder looked like he was soaked in sweat.

"Well, we don't have a problem with you guys now, seeing as how Gatou wasn't even going to pay us anyways." Zabuza said.

"Not that I'm happy we're all good now, but how do you know he won't pay you?" Kakashi asked, seeming to muse over it.

"If you've met Gatou, it would be most plausible." Haku stated, glancing to me for a second. I blinked, then smiled awkwardly.

"My guess is that you guys go back to wherever you meet Gatou, kill him, then you're free to do whatever." I voiced, placing my hands in my pockets.

"I'm still a little sad that we don't get anymore action, but that means being lazy." I smiled.

"By the way," Zabuza started. We turned out attention to him. "Which one of you cut off one of the Demon Brother's arm and stabbed his other one?"

I raised my arm. "I did it."

"It was such a clean cut, I expected the jounin to have done it." Haku commented, blinking in mild surprise at me.

"I've been practicing kenjutsu for a while now, my father is a demon when we battle." I replied, shivering a little in memory of when he smiled demonically every time.

"Kuroki-chan's awesome! She's so cool!" Naruto stood beside me whilst Sasuke on the other side. The Uchiha appeared to be glaring at Haku.

"Enough about me!" I raised my voice. "Damn. I know I'm the shit and everyone loves me, but we have more important shit to deal with."

"Yes, enough talk. We should part ways now." Kakashi suggested, and I nodded. I walked over to Haku, who blinked at me. I then compared our heights.

"You're short for your age." I stated blandly. "But then again, so am I." I smiled. "Nice meeting you."

Haku blinked in confusion, but recovered and returned his smile. "Likewise. I hope we meet again."

"I'm sure we will." I replied.

"Let's go, Haku." Zabuza said as he began to walk away. Haku nodded, then bowed to us.

"Yes. Farewell." He then walked after his teacher.

"That was...eventful." Tazuna said. We all nodded in agreement.

"I don't know what would've happened if Kuroki hadn't used her persuasion. Most likely something bad." Kakashi smiled at me.

"Best to avoid a fight if we can, right? We should keep going."

"Yeah. Good work guys."

I was debating whether I should do that fight between Zabuza and Kakashi or not, but seeing as how Gatou planned on killing them anyway, this is what happened. I hope it's not too bad. Anyone up for Haku joining the poll? Ha! Anyways, I hope you enjoyed, and it wasn't too outrageous. You've probably noticed that Kuroki has some sadistic tendencies, and I'll reveal that it's not the first time she's seen gruesome things and done less than morally right stuff. She may be all awesome and shit, but she's got some dark shit going down. Welp!

Review, favourite, follow. All that. I love reviews, your feedback is awesome. Thank you all. I'll see you in the next chapter.

EDIT: I need you guys to give me some ideas for Kuroki's kekkai genkai. Which would include the lovely grinning figure you've seen in this story of mine. I have a few ideas, but I want you guys to input some amazing ideas for me. Would be much appreciated, guys. Love you. c;
