Chapter 16

Goku landed in front of Capsule Corp. and nuzzled Vegeta who was sleeping in his arms.

Goku. Hey Goku!

The young saiyan turned then chuckled,"King Kai. What's up?"

Gather the dragonballs it's urgent.

Goku looked confused,"There aren't any threats on Earth King Kai. Why would I get them?"

I'll tell you later. For now you need to gather them as fast as you can.

Goku nodded even though he was still so very confused. He didn't know what to do,"Who's gonna take care of Vegeta when I'm gone?"

isn't that what your brother is there for?

Goku chuckled again,"I guess you're right. I'll gather them as soon as physically possible King Kai."

The Earth raised saiyan smiled at his sleeping mate one more time before going inside to put him in Trunks's nest. He kissed the prince's forehead. He ITed to the first dragonball after getting the radar from Bulma who, in his opinion, had way too many damn questions. He collected them in a hurry and laid them in a clearing.

"I summon you Shenron. Grant my wish." Goku marveled as the gigantic green dragon shot out of the balls.

"I shall grant two wishes. What is your first wish mortal?"

Goku. Remember what Vegeta told you about your child? Wish the child back.

"Can he do that?" Goku wondered and looked at the dragon,"Here goes nothing." he mumbled under his breath,"Shenron I wish for mine and Vegeta's child to be revived."

Shenron's eyes glowed and he looked at Goku,'Your wish has been granted. What is your second wish?"

Goku looked at the little girl in front of himself. Her dark hair shined with Shenron's glow. Her eyes were a soft blue color and she was tan like Vegeta. Everything else was Goku except for the widow's peak hidden in her long hair. Goku blinked and looked back at Shenron,"That's all Shenron. Thank you."

Shenron disappeared and the dragon balls flew to the ends of the earth once again. Goku looked at the little girl. He smiled his eyes starting to water,"Um...hi."

"...Hi..." The little girl looked at her hands and soft brown tail,"Are you my...?"

Goku squatted in front of the girl,"I'm Goku...Your Dad."

She teared up tears streaming down her face,"Daddy?" She began to sob and hugged Goku's neck tightly. Goku hugged her small waist to his chest. He held her at arms length,"Look at you all big and strong."

"My name is Kai took care of me."

Goku didn't respond just looked over his daughter then smiled at her,"You're so beautiful princess."

Gogeta blushed and clung to her father's chest. She didn't want to let go. She was too happy where she was.

"Gogeta? There's someone else who wants to see you."

The young girl looked confused,"Who?

"Your Amai. He's waiting." Goku loved the sound of Mother in saiyan. He grabbed his daughter's hand and smiled,"Can you fly?"

"Yes. I'm a saiyan you know." Gogeta crossed her arms looking much like Vegeta.

The two flew home Gogeta talking at a nonstop speed. She explained her life in one breath and Goku just laughed and grinned. He landed in front of Capsule Corp. and opened the door. He watched Raditz feed Trunks and Vegeta huge plates of food. Vegeta noticed Gogeta and almost choked on his food. He managed to swallow, but looked mesmerized at Gogeta.

"Geta. This is our daughter...Gogeta. She-" Before Goku could finish his sentence Gogeta was in the arms of her Amai. She was cuddling into his neck while Vegeta took in her face, scent, and warmth. Goku scrapped his shoe on the floor. Vegeta was radiating happiness that spread around like a wild fire. Vegeta looked at his daughter tears in his eyes,"I'm so sorry Gogeta...I shouldn't have done that to you. I was being selfish and-"

Gogeta put her hand over his mouth,"I like quiet sweet Amai better than sad Amai. Don't be sad anymore Amai. I'm home...And that's all that matters."

Goku smiled at his sweet daughter's affection and smarts. She might resemble him, but on the inside she was all Vegeta. Goku smiled and looked at Trunks and smiled as Azuki came in to lean on Trunks's shoulder. Goten and Daizu were sparring outside. Life couldn't be better.
