Chapter 3: A Plea for Help
"Um are we really going to a village full of demons?" Lucy asked frightened
Lucy was near the back of a group being lead through the woods by Bobo, the group consisted of Natsu, Gray, Gajeel, and Romeo in the front followed by, Elfman, Jet, Droy and Wendy, bringing up the rear was Lucy, Erza and Levy, and the Exceeds where with their respected masters.
"As I understand it yes" Erza said answering her question
"Right and this is a good idea why?" Lucy asked
"Don't worry Boba assured us we would be fine" Erza said
"Ok but why do we have to travel at night? It's dark and scary"
"Don't worry Lucy I'm pretty sure Natsu and Gajeel are the scariest things in these woods" Levy said
Lucy looked up at Natsu and Gajeel butting heads arguing over something fire leaking from Natsu's mouth and claws extended from Gajeel's hand.
"You might be right about that" Lucy said
"Well scarier then everything but Erza" Levy said with a laugh
"I'm not scary" Erza said innocently" after about an hour of walking the group came to a large wooden wall
"Who goes there" A man shouted from atop
"It's me Bobo"
"And who do you bring with you"
"These are friends"
"Very well" the man said "open the gate"
A large gate opened revealing a small village filled with demons, who all stared at the group as they walked through. They stopped in front of an old hut with an old demon standing in front.
"Bobo my son, why have you brought outsiders here" he asked
"Father these people saved my life" he said then leaned in close to his father "And I think they can help us with our problem" he whispered, although the three dragon slayers heard him clear as day.
"What problem?" Natsu asked
Bobo turned around shocked "uhh…"
"Maybe we can talk" the chief said
Natsu Erza and Gray where lead into the small old hut with Bobo and the chief, the Chief then explained that ever since the moon had turned purple they had been cursed with bad luck, first outsiders keep causing hem problems and then the Navy showed up and attacked them with no cause. Natsu, Erza and Gray all agreed to help him. So they left the hut and explained the situation to the rest of the crew.
"So we are going to help" Natsu said
"How?" Wendy asked
"There is only one way" the Chief said "We must destroy the MOON"
Fairy Tail looked at him puzzled
"Awesome" Natsu yelled "How many punches do you think it will take?"
"We can't do that" Gray said
"Why not?" Natsu asked
"For one, how would you get to the moon?" Lucy asked
Natsu thought for a moment "I know Happy can fly me there"
"I don't think so Natsu" Happy said
"Ok how about Elfman turns into his beast form and throws me"
"THERES NO WAY" Elfman yelled
"We should just split up and cover all the problem areas" Erza said
"OK" Natsu sighed
"We'll split into teams, one to cover the temple where the outsiders are" Natsu said
"One to investigate the pirate ship that was spotted on the other side of the island" Gray said
"One to go to the ancient library and find a reason for the moon turning purple" Erza siad
"and one to protect the village in case of Navy attack" Natsu finished
"So let's get moving" Erza said
"Aye sir" everyone yelled in unison
