Hi guys! This is the third chapter of my story "True Love". I hope you like it, and I will try to updste again in the next week! Enjoy! Please ignore grammer or spelling mistakes, I was writing this on my tablet.
Annabeth
I felt bad for the boy who brought me back here. He really seems to think I was his...girlfriend. But, if I was, wouldnt I remember him?
I decide to walk over to the beach. I don't know why, it just seems to help me think.
I sit down on the hot sand and slowly shut my eyes. The sound of the water crashing in on the land lulls me to sleep, and before I know it, I start getting nightmares.
I stand in an empty cavern with huge stalactites hanging from the roof. A throne sits in the corner of the room. A boy with dark hair and a large sword hanging from his side bows before the throne like someone is sitting in it.
"My lord." The boy rasps. "The plan is in motion. I will be sending a sign to our enemy in a matter of days."
A deep voice cackles. It seemed to be coming from the chair. "Soon I will have my revenge, and all of the gods will be under my control!"
The boy starts to shiver. I back up, hitting the wall behind me.
"Did you-" the boy starts, staring right at me.
"Yes. I think we have a visitor." The voice says.
The boy draws his sword and everything goes dark.
"Annabeth." Someone says. "Annabeth!"
I scream, and open my eyes. The same boy who brought me here is standing before me wearing a worried expression on his face.
"Are you alright?" He asks.
I slowly nod, sitting up. "I-I'm gonna go now."
Hurt flashes through his sea-green eyes. "Okay."
I run off without looking back.
Percy
Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! I think as I punch the sand over and over. I just screwed up again. She doesn't remember me...
I sink to the sand and cover my hands with my face. "WHERE ARE YOU WHEN I NEED YOU DAD!" I scream towards the water.
As if on cue, the water swirls around and a man slowly forms holding a trident. "I would appreciate if you didn't yell at me son." He says.
I run into the ocean and throw my arms around him. I know, I'm pathetic, but I wss breaking down.
"It's going to be okay." Poseidon says.
"It's going to be okay."
