Hey! New update as promised! Enjoy Chapter 5!
Percy
I leave my cabin at dawn. The sun has just come up as I walk toward the beach. I didn't listen to the note, I brought Riptide, but it is not in my pocket of mine jeans, but my coat.
I glance around to make sure no one notices me before I disappear behind the trees that line the edge of the lake. I sit down on the sand and wait.
I hear footsteps and I turn around.
"Annabeth?"
She looks at me like I'm crazy. "What are you-"
"Percy Jackson! I thought I told you not to bring anyone with you." A voice says. A shiver runs down my spine. I know that voice; Luke.
Annabeth
"Luke?" I say.
"Annabeth," he frowns, suddenly realizing that she was the person I was with. "They told me you had lost your memory."
"She did." Percy had cut in. "Just...everything after you betrayed us."
Luke forms a smile on his face.
"Annabeth..." Percy begins as he sees my confused expression.
"Wait..." I say. My brain starts to throb from the pain. "You didn't...you never betrayed us!" Then, I point at Percy. "He did."
"No! I would never betray you Annabeth! I lo-"
"Your right Annabeth. He did betray you. He betrayed both of us. He was a spy for Kronos' army!" Luke cut in.
Percy looked horrified. "Annabeth! Please! I never-"
"No! You betrayed me! I remember now!" I yell at him. "You almost sold me off to Kronos! Your the monster!"
"No..." Percy muttered. "I never ever did that! You have it all wrong! I swear Annabeth! I love you!"
I walk over and take Luke's awaiting hand. "No, you don't."
Did I just make huge twists in both of my stories now? I promise things will get better, just, bear with me okay? R and R and no flames please!
