So much has happened since the last time we've talked. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. Happy New Year guys! Who else was hoping that Reigns won the rumble?! I swear, I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. One bad thing about this...The Shield will most likely be breaking up soon. I know, I know...such horror. And OMG with CM Punk! I refuse to believe he's gone. I don't care how much WWE is trying to erase him. HE WILL BE BACK! But good for him to take a stand. So here's the next chapter. Thanks guys for review! Love hearing from my normal reviews, but I got some new ones which makes me happy! Keep them coming! You guys got me to 40! WOOOOOOOOOO!

Colby looked at the text message again. It had been a few days since he got the text from Lesley and he hadn't written anything back. He didn't know what to write back. He didn't even know if he should call her and try to fix things.

He did miss her, he wasn't going to lie to himself. They had five years where they were attached to the hip. He couldn't just ignore the happy memories that they had.

But when it came down to fixing the relationship, he was second guessing himself. He didn't know if he wanted to get back with her. She wasn't being the most helpful person when it came to what he did wrong for her to feel the way she does. There was this nagging feeling that told him to just move on.

"Move on."

Colby placed his phone in his lap as he looked up, staring at the wall in front of him.

"Move on."

His jaw clenched, as he felt an irritating feeling come over him.

"Mov…" He palmed Jon's face and pushed him away.

"Will you stop whispering that in my ear!" He yelled as Jon fell between the two hotel beds. "It's fucking creepy as hell and what are you doing reading my text messages!?"

Jon popped his head up, rubbing the side of it.

"Ya know, you could have pushed me away nicely."

"I could have punched you too, but i didn't now did I?"

Jon hesitated for a second, thinking of what to say.

"Thanks for that. You have seriously been a bump on a log since you got that message. I'm slightly worried about you."

"Nothing to be worried about. I just don't know what to do. I'm slightly confused."

"About what?" Jon got up and sat on the edge of the other bed. Colby looked at him, his eyebrow raised. He didn't really go to Jon for advice. He wasn't one that gave advice, especially in this situation. Jon wasn't one for relationships.

"Well," Colby sat up more on the bed, leaning his back against the headboard. "You clearly saw the text message. I don't know if I should call her or just ignore it. I don't understand her."

"It's not going to go away if you just ignore it. If I were you, I would call her."

"Really?" Colby questioned. He was expecting that answer.

"No you ass! Ignore the shit out of her. Delete the bitch's number and be rid of her," Jon got up from the bed and walked over to the fridge. There was the answer Colby was expecting. "Seriously Colby," Jon grabbed a soda from the fridge. "All she is doing is fucking with your head. One week it's I miss you and then another it's stop talking to me. All she's going to do is get what she wants from you and kick your ass to the curb," he leaned up against the desk, turning to face his friend. "And if I have to deal with you being all emo again, I may kill you in your sleep."

"I wasn't being emo," Colby crossed his arms over his chest. "I was just shut out of a 5 year relationship…"

"EEEEEEMMMMMOOOOOO," Jon teased him. Colby's eyes narrowed at his friend.

"Whatever," Colby leaned forward, sitting Indian style, playing with his phone in his hands. "But seriously, I feel that I should call her."

"Maybe," Jon scratched at his chin. "Get some fucking closure on why the bitch broke up with you in the first place."

"Because she fell out of love with me. Cassie says it does happen."

"That's bull shit. Look I may not be the relationship guru here, but I know you just don't fall out of that shit. Something leads up to it. Call her, find out, and then drop her ass."

"You are such a raw of sunshine." Jon shrugged his shoulders, opening up the can.

"I just tell it like it is. Do what you gotta do. Don't think about it. You are going to drive yourself insane." He jumped back on his bed and turned the tv on. Colby dropped his phone on the bed.

"I think I'm going to go down and work out for a bit. Wanna join?" He asked Jon as he got up.

"Nah. That's the last thing I want to do on our day off."

"Alright," Colby walked over to his bag and grabbed his headphones. "I'll see ya later then," he grabbed his phone and headed out of the room. Jon waited till he heard the door click when he grabbed his phone. He quickly dialed a number. He brought his phone up to his ear.

"Don't pick up, don't pick up, don't pick up," he kept saying. He wasn't much for luck, and today was no different. He heard a voice on the other line. "He left so let's be quick about this."

Cassie walked around the town that they were in. She was happy to have the time off. She was in a slight slump, feeling a bit homesick. Her sister had taken the kids back home a few days ago, and she missed them already. She had wanted to spend more time with her sister and catch up on things, but between work and showing the kids her job, they never got to really talk to each other.

She felt her phone go off in her pocket. She quickly pulled it out, and looked to see who was calling. She waved in front of her phone and put the device to her ear.

"Hello?"

"Hey Cassie, it's Steph."

"Yes that's what my phone says," she smirked, knowing that Stephanie was rolling her eyes at her sarcasm.

"Har har, very funny. Are you busy right now?"

"Um," Cassie looked around. "No, just walking around. Why what's up?"

"I wanted to talk to you about giving you a specific person to write for. The will help you get into knowing what exactly goes on with the writing. Plus it gives you one on one time with somebody rather than me asking you all these questions."

"Uh yeah," she said excitedly. "You know I've been wanting to do that since I started. It's whats best for business."

"Again, har har. Laugh all you want at our corporate vibe. It's going to be a great storyline."

"I don't doubt it." That was a complete lie. Cassie read the script that they produced for the coming months. She was happy to see Triple H and Stephanie more, but wasn't excited to see The Shield become lap dogs, and to see Bryan get screwed over and over again.

"So do you want to here who we have in mind?" Stephanie's voice cut through her thoughts.

"Sure. I hope it's somebody good?" She questioned. She really wanted to write for Punk, but she knew that wasn't going to happen this soon. She would even love to write for Bryan, but again, way too soon for that.

"JoJo."

"Who?" Cassie questioned again.

"Exactly. JoJo has disappeared from the radar and as a Total Diva, we can't really have that. We are thinking of putting her against Eva Marie. The two have some problems with each other already, so we think this is the best thing."

"Um, can I ask a question without you tearing off my head?" Cassie continued to walk down the street, looking through shop windows.

"Sure…"

"Why do you guys take the superstars personal lives and mix them into their shorelines? Don't ya think that's going a bit far? Shouldn't we be separating their lives with their business?" It went silent on the other side. Cassie bit the back of her bottom lip wondering if she said too much, again. She just didn't think it was right to be bringing in personal issues. It causes too much tension and awkwardness for everybody.

"I know it's screwed up," Stephanie started talking. "But unfortunately, it sells. And at the end of the day, we need ratings or nobody is going to have this business." Not the answer she was hoping for, but she knew Stephanie. Believe it or not, both her and Paul cared about what their employees feelings were. But like Steph said, they needed ratings.

"Alright, so what would you like me to do?"

"I'm leaving that entirely up to you. You have free range. I just want that girl to break out of the shell she's in and get some backbone. I thought you would be the best person for it, especially seeing that the red head and you aren't fans of each other."

"So I'm allowed to beat her at her own game?"

"Like I said, free range my dear." Cassie smirked. If there was anything she was good at, it was outsmarting people with words. Hence why she became a writer.

"Good deal. When would you like me to start?"

"At the arena tomorrow. We want to get this started as soon as possible. Get to know her a bit. Oh and before I forget, we are sorta hoping for this to run into a season of Total Divas. You cool with being on tv?"

"Um…" She didn't know what to say. She hadn't planned on being on tv in front of millions of people worldwide. That wasn't what she signed up for. She wanted to be backstage, behind the scenes. "Isn't that show scripted? I'm not really good at remembering lines…" Stephanie chuckled.

"It won't be whole scenes. It will only last a few minutes and you say whatever you have to say. She's the one who goes by the script. It's her job."

"Ok, well I guess I'm cool with it," Cassie walked into to a cd shop. "I guess I have a script to write."

"Yes you do and thanks Cass. We really didn't want to have to fire the girl. She's better than the other one when it comes to in ring ability."

"Don't worry. I'll have her bitching everyone out in no time."

"Good. See ya tomorrow," Stephanie said before the line went dead. Cassie hung up her phone and stuck it back in her pocket.

Well this was a predicament. She had to break a shy girl of her shell. How she was going to do it, she had no idea. She was a bit shy herself and it took her years to break that wall down.

"Awesome," she looked around the store and started to look up some cds.

Colby walked out of the hotel gym almost an hour and a half later. He was spent. Why he decided to stay there for that long, he couldn't say, but he did. His legs felt like rubber, and he could barely lift his arms.

"Well, this wasn't a smart idea," he took his headphones off his head, wrapping them around his neck. He pulled his phone out of his shorts pocket, unplugging the head phones from it. He then left the gym area, walking out into the halls of the hotel.

Now that he ran his frustrations out, he would give Lesley a call. He wasn't entirely sure if he should, but if they could fix it, why not give their relationship a chance. He walked out of the hotel, not wanting to be in a confined place, just in case the conversation went into the opposite direction.

He clicked on her name and brought the phone up to his ear. We was sure it was going to go to voicemail. It just kept ringing in his ear. When he was about to hang up, she answered.

"H..Hello?" She sounded out of breath.

"Um hi," he said. "Is this a bad time?"

"Uh." He thought he heard somebody talking in the background. "No, I can talk. What's up?"

"Uh, I wanted to talk to you about the text you sent me," he leaned up against the hotel wall.

"What text?"

"The 'I miss you' text…"

"Colby, I sent that, like, 3 days ago."

"Ok? Do you still feel that way?"

"I was drunk Colby…"

His heart felt like it dropped into his stomach. How could he have been so stupid. Of course she was drunk. If she wasn't and she said something, she would have called that same night or the next. There was no way she would have waited around for him to call.

"You were drunk," he banged his fist against the wall. "Of course you were. Ya know, I don't get you Lesley. Since we've broke up, or rather you just dropped me, you have been texting and calling non stop on how you miss me and want me back. Whenever I get back to you, you take it back. Why?"

"Alcohol makes you say stupid things?" There was questioning tone to her voice.

"It also speaks the truth."

"Ok Colby. Are we done? I'm sort of in the middle of something…"

"No we aren't done. I want to know if you even want to try to fix this. Five years Lesley for what? Just give up? If you want to fix this, I'm willing to work with you. But if you aren't, I can't do this back and forth shit anymore. It's driving me insane."

"Back and forth shit?" Lesley scoffed. "I'm not the only one who has been texting I miss you's and leaving messages…"

"I only did it once and if you've noticed, I haven't tried making contact with you since," he yelled into the phone. His patience was slowly dwindling the longer this call went. "I'm trying to move on. Every time I think I've got it, you send me a text wanting me back. Stop fucking with me!" It got dead silent on the other end. Colby took the phone away from his ear. He bit at his lip, in anger. He didn't want this to go this way.

He took a few deep breaths before he put the phone back up to his ear.

"So what's it gonna be? You wanna fix this or not?"

"Colby, I can't give you an answer right now…" Colby smirked, chuckling, shaking his head.

"Can you at least tell me why you broke up with me in the first place?"

"I told you…"

"No don't give me that stupid bull shit. You broke up with me for another reason. I obviously did something to you. So what is it? Did I say something that offended you? Did I pick up a trait that annoys you? What did I do?"

"You didn't do anything Colby," her voice sounded so distant. It was like he was talking to a completely different person.

"Was it somebody else? Just tell me." The other line got silent again. "Just talk to me Lesley." He looked away from the hotel, starting to walk down the building. He wanted to be away from people walking in and out of the hotel. He didn't know if he wanted the answer to his question, but he had asked. So now he was going to suffer.

"Yes. Th…there's somebody else." He heard ruffling on the other end and then a door slammed. He didn't know what to say. He wanted to hang up the phone. "Colby?"

"Yeah, I'm here," he leaned up against the hotel again, staring off into the street. Lesley was going on about something, but he wasn't listening. He did, however, noticed that Cassie rounded the corner. She smiled and waved at him. He smiled back, waving her over. That nagging feeling about moving on came back to him. "Hey Lesley…" His voice cut right through hers.

"Yeah?" He could hear attitude in her voice.

"I've made the decision for you. We aren't getting back together," he then hung up his phone. "Where are you coming from?" He asked as he watched Cassie walk over to him.

"Shopping," she looked down at her phone and frowned. "Mother fucking asshole!"

"What's wrong?"

"Stupid fucking assholes from my past. They keep wanting to creep back into my life for no fucking reason!" She leaned up against the hotel next to him. "Well there is a reason…"

"That reason being?" He tried to look at her phone.

"To fuck with my head. God I hate them so much! Why can't they just leave me the fuck alone!?"

"Alright let me see. I have never heard you say fuck so many times within three sentences." He held his hand out for her phone. Cassie was slightly hesitant on giving it to him. She did, and then sat down on the ground.

Colby looked at her phone. She was on her Facebook and was currently looking at a status she had posted. I want a tattoo. Underneath the status, some guy named Eddie commented: What kind of tattoo? Cassie answered him with her sarcastic self: The kind you get put on your body.

"Always have to be the smart-ass," he looked down at her. She had her knees to her chest, her chin leaning against them.

"Yeah well, it's starting to get me in trouble."

He looked back at the phone, continuing to read. That Eddie guy commented again: Well you do have a big body Cass, so I don't know what you would get tattooed.

"Are you fucking serious?" He asked as he saw some people defending her. Her friend Katie was the first to jump down this guy's throat, but Eddie commented back that he didn't care how anybody took what he said. "What a fucking douche. How do you even know this guy?"

"He was one of my best friends back in Jersey. And a guy that I was really into." He sat down next to her.

"Come on Cass, you don't seem like somebody who is into douchebags."

Cassie turned her head, still leaning up against her knees, to look up at him.

"Every girl has at least one jackass that she falls for. Besides, he really isn't that bad of a guy. I mean he had his moments, but he was nice to me." He waved her phone in front of her.

"Doesn't seem nice."

"Yeah well, this is him trying to get under my skin. It's working."

"Why? You aren't what he says you are."

"I know, but he just can. Just like the rest of the group I used to hang out with. They are all probably sitting right there, watching this thing unfold on my page. Look, I'm a very insecure person and they are the reason why. They are all about themselves and they talked about each other behind their backs. They broke you down and there were times I didn't want to leave my room. I would get dressed up and wear clothes that really aren't me, they would call me a whore. I was a prude because I didn't go shouting to the rooftop about my sex life. Yet, I was a slut if i made a sexual joke or comment. They made me fell really small. Like I wasn't even a human to them."

"Why would you stay friends with them?"

"I was shy. I didn't make friends easily. They were all I had." She looked away from him. Colby's heart sunk. He didn't want her to get all upset. He took her phone and messed around. He then took out his phone and began to mess around with it. He handed Cassie back her phone.

She felt it go off in her hand. She turned to look at her Facebook. She smiled seeing Colby had commented: Eddie, you're just jealous that you can't see what a fine, beautiful woman Cassie is. The fact I get to see her true-self everyday and you don't, so come at me bro.

Cassie rolled her eyes and looked up at Colby who had his big goofy grin on his face.

"Really? Had to go all Jersey Shore on there?"

"Hey, you are from Joisey…"

"Oh my god! Nobody says it like that!" The two of them laughed. Colby wrapped an arm around her shoulder, pulling her to him. Cassie placed her head on his right shoulder.

"No reason to be insecure Cass. Look at where you are compared to them still stuck in that one mile town."

"Do you guys really use your actual names for you Facebooks?" She wanted to get off the subject.

"Genius right?"

"Not really. That would be the first name I would go to if I wanted to stalk your asses."

"Well thanks for telling me how you know so much about me."

"You wish I would stalk your ass," the two became silent. "Thanks Colby."

"Not a problem Darling. Anytime, you know that."

"Yeah…Hey Colby…"

"Sup?"

"You really stink."

"That's a man's smell," he hugged her, trapping her to him.

"GROSS! GET OFF OF ME!" She laughed out.

"Nope," he said as he tightened his grip on her the more she tried to break free.

"Hey dingbats." The two stopped to see Jon standing there, smoking a cigarette. "I'm hungry. Let's go get something to eat. Oh and Colby," Jon threw a hoodie at him. "I can smell you from here dude," he then started to walk away. Colby laughed as he jumped up, putting the hoodie on. He then helped Cassie up, again wrapping an arm around her shoulders. The two quickly followed Jon to some random place.

I think this is kind of a filler chapter. Sorry for the length...even though I have no idea what the length is. Hope this holds you over. I think I finally got this story figured out on where I want it to go, so hopefully more updates. Sorry for any bad grammar or wrong spelling. It's 4 in the morning and I'm lazy haha. I hope this holds you over for right now. I am determined to get another Chapter up before the weekend. With all this damn snow happening, I have the time. I also may start another story. I have one in my head and it seriously won't leave. It's annoying. So how bout some reviews? You know you want too...OH and I know Rollins has a tat on his spine. Does anybody know what it is exactly and why he has it? It would be a big help if you knew! Thanks!
