Back at house Lilith, Warlow, and Catherine sat in the back yard along with Sookie and Eric along with Nora Gainsborough. Lilith sat across from the Northman's as she absentmindedly picked up Nora's stray thought looking at Nora Lilith smiled telling her in a silvery tone, "That's my secret young one!"

Scowling Nora stated in a strident voice, "who are you calling young?"

"Compared to me… You're still in your adolescence Miss Gainesborough!" Lilith stated matter-of-factly. In a flat tone of voice Lilith told Nora, "My 10,000th birthday is next month."

"You're curious wondering how I managed to stay out of history's way all this time!" Lilith stated in a strident voice, "Watch and learn."

All the bones Lilith face started to move and shift and within moments Nora Gainesborough was looking at her perfect twin knowing all the while she was still looking at Lilith. Lilith began to speak and she had Nora's vocal inflection and speech pattern down pat.

With a smirk on her face Lilith stated, "You did know I was a shifter right… I can shift into any form I want not just my vampire state!" Slowly Lilith's face started to shift back to the form of Elle as she stated matter-of-factly, "I don't do this often because the process itself is quite painful."

"I can become anyone I want… It also means I don't need to be invited in!" Elle said confidently.

"I must leave soon" Said Elle looking at both Eric and Sookie she said in a silvery tone "When I do leave I am taking Cathrine with me… I must complete her training I have put this off as long as I could"

Sookie looked at Elle asking "Can't you complete her training here?"

Taking a breath the aged vampire said, "No… I can't Sookie… she has come of age and the darklight energy will begin to manifest itself in small ways at first!"

"Sookie I was able to stave it off once and retained control because my daughter drew it off slowly, otherwise it would have killed me" Lilith said in a somber tone.

"My daughter is dead" Lilith said in a cold tone.

Eric was about to ask Elle to reconsider When Elle stated matter-of-factly, "The history and the bible got it wrong!"

Looking at the Northman family Elle said matter of factly, "Sodom & Gomorra were destroyed because I lost control Eric…"

Sipping some scotch Lilith told them with an undertone of regret in her voice, "I got angry Eric… I wiped out two cities in the blink of an eye… could she bear that burden!"

Looking at Sookie she said with a sympathetic undertone, "At her current strength your daughter could wipe out the entire state, and her strength has doubled since the ritual"

Looking at the shadows of the woods by the back of the yard Elle said in a knowing voice, "You can come out from your hiding spot Cathrine."

Cathrine walked into the light with red streaks running down her face in a wobbly ragged voice Cathrine said, "Auntie Elle… I can't… I don't…"

Taking Cathrine in a comforting embrace Elle said softly"I am going to take you somewhere, where you can learn to use darklight and not hurt anyone"

Elle said in a soft comforting tone. "I have prepared a place for us"

"You really need to show me how you did that" Cathrine commented in a small tone of voice, "How did you change into Nora?"

"That is a long story and will take more than a five minute discussion for you to learn!" In the back of her mind Elle heard Warlow's plea "Ask them"

Turning to the Northman's Elle said in a modulated yet silvery tone, "Eric, Sookie, Warlow has asked for Cathrine's hand.., he has asked me to negotiate terms!"

Warlow spoke up stating in a low deep voice, Mr. Northman… Eric you would have two of the most powerful vampires who ever lived as family.

"Sookie" Elle said, "He came here for you… only to find I negated the contract with your ancestor"

Sookie and Eric's eyes went wide eyed at Elle comments. Elle looked at the couple telling them, "He tried to enforce the contract stating it applied to Cathrine…"

Sipping her scotch Elle told them, "Until I reminded him that the wording stated the first Fae born female, not the first Dhampiresa and Fae are very particular about the wording and the sprint of the law where contracts are concerned."

Warlow said in softly spoken tone, "I can teach her about the Fae… Teach her how to use her light"

Sookie went wide eyed at that remark stammering as she spoke, "Y-Your Fae"

Smiling Warlow said "I am older then Niall Brigant… and yes I was once Fae… Now I am a vampire by night… and Fae by day"

Warlow's hand started to glow white as a ball of energy appeared in his palm.

"Sookie, your daughter's light and dark halves are at war… as Fae I went through much the same thing it myself, if she could learn to balance those two" Warlow said.

"My sire is right" Elle said. "If she could learn to balance them… use not one but both"

Cathrine could see Elle's logic saying, "It would be something else… something stronger"

Cathrine was able to read Warlow's thoughts and saw what he was saying was true only it was worse than he is letting on in her mind Cathrine heard Warlow's voice ask, does it frighten you?

No… not really, Cathrine replied, I have seen Lilith's memories

Eric and Sookie watched the exchange warily when Elle said, "Warlow is letting your daughter see her thoughts"

That comment got Cathrine's attention as she asked, "Your letting me read you"

In a deep baritone voice Warlow stated, "I am nearly as old as Lilith… shutting you out would be easy enough"

Reading the unanswered question on Cathrine's face Warlow stated, "When I made the bargain with your ancestor, they were making it blindly… you should know who you're getting involved with"

Continuing his statement Warlow told Cathrine, "I see from your thoughts your like Lilith, you can transform"

"Not the way Lilith can…" Cathrine said as she pouted

"That will take practice… You have only just learned to master you vampire transformation" Elle said, "As I said it's painful… just ask Alcide Herveaux or your father's day man Mustapha Khan!"
